Better than i expected
This drama have so many stories and heavy topics, what i loved the most was phi doc and sailom, the center story of this drama, sailom who have aphenphosmphobia, who dealt with a lot of bad things during his childhood due his creep piece of shit stepdad fell in love with doc, i loved how their progress, they respected work ethics by not making doc his therapist, instead he was there for him as friend.Their story was well written, sailom healing journey wasn't easy, it took him tipe to accept therapy, than open up slowly, and gradually he was be able to play with his friends and doc and touch them, and finally he was be able to touch his therapist and lett her touch him, it was heartwarming, i loved that they didn't make his healing be only related to doc or be dependent only on him, instead it was friends and his cicke of people. Than they took step to be boyfriends and be together.
The mom who comeback pmo omg, she was definitely something, doc choose to save his sister bcz he was nice, he didn't hate innocent sick girl but the mom womdn stay uncomfortable.
Tawan and dindin annoyed hell out of me ngl
I didn't care a lot about nawa and his boyfriend.
Overall this drama have a lot going on but cebter story was nice to watch and follow.

Surprisingly good crime drama, with a PERFECT villain wow
I'll keep it short.I started this after seeing Jing Boran as the ML, and I've missed his acting. The first few episodes, I thought the story was mid but there seemed to be a lot of potential for the main couple. A few more episodes in, I realized the romance aspect is far from being the main genre of the drama. I'll be honest, I was considering dropping it. But the villain's story really drew me in. He is so perfect as the antagonist-- you can't help but hate his guts but also really admire the portrayal of the character. I was truly blown away by how perfectly he embodied a psychotic character. As the plot thickened, I found myself more invested in the story overall rather than just the main couple's relationship. JBR was also amazing of course, and has amazing chemistry with everyone, though I would like to see him in a more romance-centered drama.
Overall, I think this was a great blend of crime and romance. I'd say 70-30 respectively. Each episode gives more details and every now and then there was a reveal of things that happened. The back and forth flashbacks were a bit too common and hard to keep track of, and my hopeless romantic side wishes they showed more scenes of just the leads, but for a crime drama it was one of the better ones.

The Fei Ke Identity Crisis
Regeneration starts like a classic mystery invitation you don’t decline. Journalist He Shan witnesses the kidnapping of Fei Ke, only to later find herself summoned to his memorial and will reading. Alongside four strangers, she’s taken to a secluded island villa by Liu Mo, the supposed driver, and asked to share their personal stories about the man they all somehow knew. What follows feels like a storytelling séance, peeling back layer after layer of a man who seems to have lived multiple lives depending on who you ask. It’s a reminder that truth isn’t a straight line, it’s more like a kaleidoscope. As someone who enjoys a good Agatha Christie setup, this premise instantly clicked for me. A group of strangers, an island, and a mystery figure at the center. It gave me And Then There Were None vibes, minus the classic whodunnit panic. The first half is where the drama truly shines. Each story shared by Chen Shu Fa, Cheng Hao, Xuan Er, and Su Qian paints Fei Ke as a manipulative liar and scammer, and honestly, they make a strong case. I found myself nodding along, especially during Su Qian’s hotel sequence and Xuan Er’s entire arc. Yet there was always that tiny voice in my head going, “But is that the full story?” The drama does a great job of making you doubt everything while still pulling you deeper into the narrative.
A huge part of why Fei Ke works as a character is Jing Bo Ran. He doesn’t just play Fei Ke, he plays every version of him that exists in these conflicting memories. From charming to chilling, hesitant to ruthless, he glides through these shifts so smoothly it’s almost scary. And yes, the visuals are chef’s kiss. But beyond that, he brings an emotional complexity that makes you believe every version is real, even when they contradict each other.
Then comes the turning point. After the four guests finish their stories, the tone shifts faster than you can say plot twist. What initially feels like a redemption story suddenly leans hard into revenge territory. The moment Cheng Hao starts questioning He Shan’s identity, the calm storytelling session spirals into chaos. Instead of maintaining the intriguing tension, the drama cranks up the theatrics. By episodes 7 or 8, it starts to feel like the narrative forgot to pace itself.
He Shan’s perspective is meant to ground the story. Unlike the others, she knew Fei Ke before all the lies and schemes. Through her memories, we see a gifted student whose life unraveled after one wrong move, sending him down a darker path. It adds context and attempts to humanize him, but for me, it didn’t fully land. I could understand him, maybe even feel a bit of regret for how things turned out, but the emotional pull felt slightly forced, like the story was nudging me a bit too hard to sympathize.
The biggest eyebrow-raiser is the mastermind reveal. The whole setup being orchestrated by a dying man seeking revenge, very Murder on the Orient Express energy, sounds intriguing on paper but plays out messily. The logic gets shaky, motivations feel overcooked, and the moral weight is uneven. There’s something unsettling about someone pulling all the strings, dragging others into the fallout, while conveniently having an exit card due to their limited time left. It left a bitter aftertaste that overshadowed the earlier brilliance. That said, the star-crossed lovers subplot did manage to sneak in some genuine emotion amidst the chaos.
By the time the ending rolls around, the drama fully embraces its flair for dramatics. There’s a moment that feels straight out of Titanic, and while it aims for emotional impact, it borders on excessive. Still, I’ll give credit where it’s due. The story provides closure. We’re not left hanging in ambiguity, and we do get a sense of where each character ends up. It just feels like the journey to that closure could have been handled with a steadier hand.
Visually, the drama is decent, but let’s be honest, Jing Bo Ran carries a lot of that appeal. His styling, his presence, his ability to command the screen even in the most unsettling scenes makes every moment he’s in worth watching. The cinematography supports the mood well enough, but it’s the character work that keeps your eyes glued.
In the end, Regeneration is an engaging and addictive mystery thriller that starts incredibly strong. It hooks you with its layered storytelling and compelling character perspectives, even if it stumbles in the latter half with over-the-top drama and a slightly forced emotional core. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely a ride worth taking. With a tighter grip on its final act, this could have been something truly unforgettable.

Its like a shorter and less intense version of yanxi palace
Modern Girl is transmigrated to yanxi palace. uses her medical skills to not die a lot, knows the novels plot and then the butterfly effect removes thise advantages. it gets a bit rushed towards the end and makes less sense .FL rises a bit in ranks catches feelings. it will hold your attention but its not life changing. a lot of the twists are guessable, at times acting questionable but overall OST is fire and it doesnt drop anywhere too much in terms of tension. would check out a season 2.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best rom-com series.
The story is excellent. Since the heroine is a fan, it feels quite relatable to my own life, which makes it easy for me to immerse myself and connect with the characters’ emotions. The performances of the leads are outstanding, especially the female lead, who acts very naturally. She has a bright, charming presence, so it’s no surprise she becomes the male lead’s first love. You can completely understand why he falls in love at first sight just by seeing her radiant smile. At the same time, in moments when she is sad and confused, Kim Hye-yoon conveys those emotions exceptionally well. Byeon Woo-seok also does a great job portraying an innocent young man who is deeply in love, and he’s incredibly charming. Their chemistry is amazing, making it easy for me to believe in their love and become fully invested in their story.
The soundtrack is also beautiful and perfectly timed, adding even more charm to each scene. The only downside for me is the killer who keeps trying to harm the leads—it felt a bit annoying. Aside from that, everything is well-balanced and hard to fault. The comedic moments are well-timed and genuinely funny. It’s a rom-com that I absolutely love, and I’d rank it as my number one right now.

this drama so good
Seriously, how did I not discover this C-drama before? It's simply perfect! I watched episodes 1 through 4 and thought, "Wow, what a silly drama," but from episode 5 onwards, you see the bad boy protagonist mature and learn to communicate with our hardworking, golden boy. The dialogue, declarations, acting, attitudes, and messages—I cried at some points because they truly touched me. What a wonderful drama! I highly recommend watching it; it's worth every second. Was this review helpful to you?
Good enough and worth watching
At first, I was actually hesitant to watch it, but I kept going even though something felt a bit off.The FLs are great; it’s just that the way the story is organized feels a little messy. Still, it’s good overall.
Since I decided to give it a shot and really try to understand the story, I came up with a lot of assumptions, some were right, and some weren’t.
It’s really interesting and engaging, especially the OST. I was dancing while it was playing and even tried singing the English version, though I probably looked like an idiot, haha.
In the end, I enjoyed the drama. I hope they’ll have more projects to come. 🙏

LOVE Rain and Payu.
I really love Rain and Payu's story. SO GOOD. They mostly get the rating. Rain is hilarious. Such a brat. And Payu thought he was cute too. I loved their banter and ribbing. And these two look so good together. GREAT acting by Noeul and Boss. Their chemistry was incredible.Sky and Prapai are a bit too slow in the beginning but get better by the end. Sky was SO mean at times. I'm assuming it's a cultural thing because that level of mean borders petty and that irked me. lol They did have some fire scenes though. And the way Prapai cared for Sky was SO emotional.

If you have nothing else to watch
Miss the dragon is not a bad drama but not a very good one, the story is very not big honestly and all is about love between 2 people (well 4), its not terrible in term of acting but you can see its very generic and you are going probably forgot this drama after couple of days. It's enjoyable if you dont want something deep, watch it if you want a break between two big drama.

Literally a LONGEST promise!
Ok this is drama really loved up to its name. The LONGEST promise ever. The drama was crazy long and boring to me. I started watching this for XZ as most did. But I regretted starting it from 3rd episode on and I'm not someone to leave series half way. So i forced myself to watch the rest. Thankfully I found a new obsession. Alan Feng. He was the sole reason why I watched the rest. And they did him very dirty in the end. The merfork never had a day in the series where he was happy.Anyway the movie was a slow burn until 35th episode. I wish the story was as eventful from the beginning but they cramped up everything that was supposed to be spanned out over 40 episodes in the last 5 episodes. I was annoyed at the FL for her hyperactive and intrusive nature where she is disturbing the ML and has her nose in everyone's business from the beginning. But her character became more tolerable finally when she had a purpose other than chase after her master.
The costumes and some of the CGIs were very nice to watch. But in some parts of the story it was very obvious that it was greenscreen. It kinda gave me an ick. Also what's up with the subplots and characters popping up at random part of the story like the ice clan, Ruyi and Sumo. I felt like the story line was all over the place and was not consistent for most characters.
Again all the characters went through all these for no one to end up happy. It was emotionally taxing to watch this drama and I won't recommend this to anyone.

Is this what a strong female lead is supposed to be?
I really don't understand the good reviews ??The marketing for this was a total bait-and-switch. The FL was the most annoying thing on the planet! every time she said the word "DUDU," it made my skin crawl. Why was she acting like a lovestruck teenager when she was supposed to be a tough man? It’s impossible to believe anyone would fall for her disguise when she makes zero effort to be suspicious-free.
The way the ML found out her secret was ridiculous. There is no way in hell he could have felt her breasts while they were riding a horse like that. On top of the bad logic, the ML was bland, boring, and had zero personality. I didn't care about him at all. The actor also genuinely didn't impress me here.
The story was supposedly about vengeance ( or was it ??) , but the FL was so grating that I lost the plot entirely. I had to skip most of the drama just to finish it. It’s a shame because the poster makes her look badass, but the character is just a joke. To the creators: please, never make a "strong" female character like this ever again. Definitely a shitty drama.

A beautiful drama
This drama is almost everything i want to see in this shows, the whole actors have a big chemistry, the FL is a strong badass woman, very great ML and support roles are all very good. I liked the story a lot, fighting scenes are well done and it's very rare to see a group of actors like them. So many emotions! The only thing i'havent liked its the 2 last episodes, they are not necessary but it's always like that with Cdrama.
This drama is a must have to watch

Love Again
I could feel the hatred and anger Yu was feeling. I could feel the pain and regret Sam was feeling. every time they cried, my heart broke into a million pieces :’( and that chemistry is literally so good! it left me wanting for a 3rd season 😭one thing I didn’t like about this season is the second couple (Shi De’s cousin and coworker). I could not care less about their story and was pretty much skipping every scene they had. i would rather have some of those screentime for our main couple, or Bing Wei and Zhe Yu.
also, i will NEVER forgive the editors for deleting the scene where they explain that the blonde woman was Shi De’s step sister. it was literally such a crucial scene, and carried so much importance to the story. if they hadn’t left out such a vital information, the reception of this season would’ve been so much better. I don’t know what made them come up with such a stupid decision of deleting that scene😭
sigh….i know it’s already been 5 years, but i will be secretly dreaming for a 3rd season🥹
