mixed feelings ...
It didn't turn out to be as what I expected , I thought this was going to be this fast paced strong revenge drama , yet what they gave us was a rather slow paced drama which tried to tackle many ideas at once and somehow each one turned out to be a bit unsatisfying for me .so first of all the acting was superb , but the plot didn't serve the drama that much , this drama focused on many plot lines at once which was annoying at sometimes given the fact that I was mainly interested in mo xiuyao and ye li story and with all those storylines it felt dragged for me , ye li knowing medicine , martial arts and basically everything to get the ML out of trouble was quite annoying it felt like a loophole to fix any obstacle they faced .
I hated the whole mo jingli arc like he was so annoying and he wanted it all he wanted the throne and ye li even after he betrayed lishan academy, ye li was married and he himself was married to her step sister , he just got on my nerves .
cangbei princess was killed and they forgot about her ?? like they gave no explanation to the other nation or anything and her maid what was she trying to seek revenge from mo xiuyao for ? how would he have saved her when he himself needed saving ?? why would she call him her enemy like he wasn't the one to cause her to became a slave.
empress dowager after all she had done she got the easiest way out .
that has been said this drama definitely had its moments , from mo xiuyao getting closure for his brother and killed army and the emotional moments we got to know what happened at lishan academy.
this wasn't perfect but it desrves to give it a go.

10/10 Bloodhound season 2 delivered everything I wanted
10/10 Bloodhound season 2 delivered everythingI wanted
I waited what felt like forever for Season 2 of Bloodhound & it was 100% worth the wait. This show is an absolute masterpiece. It has everything you want in a series like intense action, sharp writing, strong character development & suspense that keeps you hooked from the very first episode. It doesn't need romance, the story and characters are strong enough on their own.
I binge-watched the entire season in just a day and genuinely enjoyed every single episode. The performances are excellent, the twists are unpredictable & the pacing is perfect. For me, it's a solid 10/10.
Netflix, if you're listening..... we need Season 3 already!

10/10 Amazing show! Raid 2 Vibes!
10/10 Amazing show! Raid 2 Vibes! As a martial arts movie lover and someone who appreciates character development and story telling, this show is actually so good!
Must watch for anyone who loves something like the raid 2 or movies like that in general. Even though I'm not Korean but from the UK, I have really started to appreciate these amazing Korean shows they have been putting on Netflix.
Haven't been hooked to a show from the first episode in a while and this has done it. I can't wait for season 2! I hope they put they make a season 2 because it defo deserves it.
Even if they make a tournament style movie it would be cool!

great but I wish they stuck more to the webtoon
As a standalone drama it's actually q good and I really enjoyed the way they wrote the sister relationship like that was actually quite good and moved me a lil.But I dislike that they changed the way she revealed her identity like the book and Seo-ha discovering is such a crucial/significant part of their whole relationship and they full on just ignored it :(
Also I think the casting was bit off for seoha like no shade to the actor but like that big ahh dude is not seoha les be honest rn
This dramas flaw is that it strayed away from its original work in a bad way and the casting could have been done better I genuinely think that if this was a standalone drama it would be much better received and appreciated

The worst drama I’ve ever seen
Started this drama because everyone is saying how this show is a masterpiece, I was expecting a good toxic bl drama. I don’t know what everyone’s on about but this is the worst drama I’ve ever seen. The plot is just plain stupid and so repetitive it made me frustrated and angry the whole time.
I saw a comment that said it feels like they use AI to write the script and honestly I couldn’t agree more.
I’m losing braincells every episodes, don’t waste your time with this.
Also, all the acting points go to lufeng’s actor.

Unpopular opinion: A masterpiece of healing that easily outshines the hype of WIFTY
While everyone seems to be head over heels for When I Fly Towards You, I’m going to say it out loud: You Are Desire is on a completely different level. What makes this drama superior is the incredible maturity of its narrative and the stellar chemistry between Zhou Yi Ran and Sabrina Zhuang. They don't just play a cute couple; they beautifully portray two deeply wounded individuals dealing with heavy trauma and severe family issues. The way their characters peel back their layers, confront their vulnerabilities, and slowly build an unshakeable, mutual trust is one of the most rewarding journeys I’ve ever watched in a youth drama. It’s raw, realistic, and deeply comforting.
Their dynamic was so electric and natural that I’m already experiencing withdrawal. I honestly cannot wait to see them reunite on screen in Destiny of Life (生命缘)—they have proven they can handle complex emotional depth together, and a medical setting will be the perfect playground for their talent!

Jackson Yee proves once again he is a generational talent, not just a pretty face
Big World is the ultimate proof that China’s young actors are so much more than just their striking visuals and idol backgrounds. Beneath the attractive exterior lies raw, profound talent, and characters like Liu Chun He are the perfect vessel to showcase that immense potential. The film catches you completely off guard. It delivers an unexpected cinematic experience, yet anchors itself in a story that feels strangely familiar—delving deep into the raw, selfish aspects of human nature. It’s a gritty, honest exploration of what people will do when pushed to their limits.
Jackson Yee delivers a mammoth, career-defining performance here. He completely sheds any "idol" persona to disappear into the role of Liu Chun He, bringing an incredible emotional depth and intensity to the screen.
If you still think young actors are only cast for their looks, watch this movie. It will completely change your perspective. A stunning, thought-provoking film carried by a phenomenal leading man.

When A Generation Born Into a dying Era
This is definitely one of the best things I’ve watched in my life, it’s so beautifully written and executed. The way The drama started was enough for me to pick it up until the end
The drama has wars, battles, politics, world building etc
but what makes it so great is the overwhelming feeling that every character is living in a world that gets into chaos slowly each day
and it’s not your typical story where the hero will change the world one day and sets the order of things.., nah , it’s a story where a generation of people played their own part in a chaos world and chasing their dreams and aspirations while unknowingly moving closer to their own destruction
it’s epic and melancholic
The world is ancient and large which makes the story has constant a sense of uncertainty and danger
The political game in the story is an imitation of The late eastern Han dynasty and the beginning of the three kingdoms
where the empire is dying and all the warlords are trying to save it in their own way
there are many themes like ambition, desire, destiny, identity, cruelty
these shapes the characters and develop them each day
the idea that “youth and friendship is getting destroy over time” is so sad
The ending is controversial of course or to be exact it’s the last 10 episodes from 45-56
was rushed somehow and left me disappointed a little bit but that disappointment goes away when I learned that the drama finale is similar to the novel finale
“I missed it”

10/10 The PT Universe comes to life! So Ji-sub IS CQC personified!
As an absolute fanatic of the original Manager Kim webtoon and the entire PJ Universe, I was terrified of how they would adapt this into live-action. But after seeing the premiere, all my fears are completely gone.First off, the casting is perfection. So Ji-sub completely embodies the weary, slouching "salaryman" look, but when his Close Quarters Combat (CQC) instincts kick in, he turns into an absolute demon. The fight scenes are insanely faithful to the panel art-they actually captured the technical, brutal weight of his moves without masking it behind messy editing.
Seeing Seong Han-su (Choi Dae-hoon) and Park Jin-cheol (Yoon Kyung-ho) on screen together with Kim gave me literal chills. The legendary trio of badass dads is finally here, and their dynamic is just as chaotic and epic as it is in the manhwa. If you've been waiting for a faithful, high-budget webtoon adaptation that doesn't tone down the violence or the hype, this is the holy grail. Long live the PTJ Universe!

Gorgeous leads and iconic scenes, but lacking that ultimate spark
I am a massive fan of both Zhou Yi Ran and Chen Du Ling. They are incredibly talented, absolutely stunning to look at, and both delivered excellent performances in Ashes to Crown. Honestly, Zhou Yi Ran serves up some truly iconic, unforgettable moments here (though I secretly hope to see him lead a much more traditional, sweet romance C-drama in the future!).That being said, there were two main things that kept this show from becoming an unforgettable masterpiece for me:
First, the chemistry between the main leads was severely lacking. If you compare this to Zhou Yi Ran’s previous works like Generation to Generation or When I Fly Towards You or You Are Desire, the distinct lack of feeling and romantic spark here was quite noticeable—and unfortunately, that awkward disconnect carried over into the behind-the-scenes clips as well.
Second, while the setup is interesting, the execution of the plot is quite predictable. For a palace drama, the political intrigue and manipulations are very surface-level. It’s immediately clear who is good and who is bad, without any of the complex mind games you'd expect from a heavy historical show.
They definitely could have done more with the writing, but in the end, it was still a highly addictive and enjoyable watch. It became a daily ritual for me—I literally woke up early every single morning just to catch the new episode as soon as it dropped at 7 AM!

10/10 A must watch inspirational life changing kdrama
It made me think how I want to live my life Character arcs were amazing Park seroyi- his will and determination to not to be defined my his past or others Jo yi seo- her confidence that's he can have both love and success and then putting in the work and patience for it Oh soo ah- kinda like Snape in Harry Potter, I didn't liked her but last episode explained everything Jang geun won- a villan, a victim who again chose to be the villian Jang geun soo- a teenage boy without guidance One other great thing was this drama won't feel you wondering what happened to that guy.. they gave proper ending to each character and relationship Haters might be saying they don't get the shift of love story or decisions by gen won but I would like to point out the effect of time (years) on characters Bonus point is it's great ost.. especially sweet night by V hits home.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

10/10 JUST SUPERB!!!
10/10 JUST SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This drama is just amazing. I will say one of the best in this genre (fantasy). The fact that it's so unpredictable, cope with great scripts, amazing acting, that by itself make it a 10 out of 10 for me. Believe me, there is so much to its arsenal.
Smart, gritty, bloody, heart warming, heart wrenching, to name a few. Oh yeah let's assemble one of the most diverse and powerful casting I've seen so far, in a Korean fantasy show. That ladies and gents, is a recipe for an instant classic.
I've watched 100s kdrama, never seen anything quite like it.
So do yourself a favor, GO WATCH IT!!! And thank me later.

Overall Enjoyable
Where do I start with Blossom? The two leads, Song Mo and Dou Zhao, were honestly the heart of this drama their chemistry was electric and both characters were so easy to fall in love with. Every scene they shared felt natural and genuinely engaging, which is everything you want from a romance-driven cdrama. That said, I have to be honest about the middle stretch, because it was a bit of a slog for me. The Marquis and half-brother storyline pulled focus in a way that really killed my momentum. I get that the half-brother arc carries a lot of narrative weight, but the shift in his personality felt jarring. I understood that he wanted revenge — but his grievance was really with his father, not his brother, so watching him redirect that anger felt frustrating rather than compelling. It made it hard to stay invested, and I’ll admit I had to push through to reach the ending. The saving graces beyond the leads? The cinematography and visuals were genuinely stunning. This show knows how to be beautiful, and there were moments that had me pausing just to take it all in. I also really enjoyed the political elements woven throughout that kind of intrigue is always a win for me in historical dramas. Overall, Blossom in my opinion is worth watching, especially if you love strong lead chemistry and gorgeous production quality. The politics and the romance kept me hooked even when the middle tested my patience. And honestly? The best news is that the leads are reuniting in a new drama soon — so I’m already looking forward to seeing what they do next.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
