a must watch..!
This drama is on another level. From start to end it keeps you hooked in this slow intense way.At first you might feel like it’s just one case being stretched… like but nah the way they build it .. itactually becomes MORE gripping.
It has this insane emotional weight ..like the core of the drama
That ending scene especially… when everything comes together… really hit hard
The way relationships shift the trust betrayal pain ..it all explodes in such a quiet but powerful way
And that moment where one of the main lead whos always so reserved and distant… finally breaks his own boundaries.. that was something else ..literally next lev..
The chemistry between the leads is also top tier. Not loud and flashy .. just deep and tense
Its not about multiple cases or action… its about one story one truth and how deeply it affected everyone involved.

10/10 Through the Mirror's Shadow: My Obsession with Mystique in the Mirror
10/10 Through the Mirror's Shadow: My Obsession with Mystique in the MirrorOkay, I seriously can't stop thinking about this series.
"Mystique in the Mirror" is EVERYTHING - mysterious, emotional, creepy in the best way, and so beautifully written.
Oh my god, how much I love this show! I'd even say I'm in absolute awe. I adore stories like this - the kind that make your brain work nonstop, where you have to think, analyze, connect clues, and still end up with more questions than answers. It's like a massive, impossible puzzle, but it's so addictive that you want to keep putting the pieces together.
This series is never boring. Not for a single second. I'm glued to the screen the whole time, totally absorbed.
Sometimes my brain feels like it's exploding because I have no idea what's happening - but I love that feeling! The mystery, the confusion, the urge to understand - it's all part of the fun.
And the actors? PERFECTION. Every performance feels so real and layered. The BL storyline develops slowly and beautifully - the chemistry between the main leads is insane.
Like, seriously, the tension could set the screen on fire i And the secondary couple? I love them so much - it's so heartwarming to see them back together atter so many years.
l've already watched three episodes, and honestly... I still have no clue what's really going on a Is Alan actually alive,
or is he a ghost? Or maybe he's alive and everyone else is a ghost?? Or could it be that Alan just sees spirits, and Win is one of them? And Dr. Nin- is he truly trying to help Alan, or is he secretly making things worse? And what is up with the new nurse, Pete? Why does he act so strange? And don't even get me started on Dr. Ophat - those haunting, unnervingly intense looks he gives sometimes literally make me shiver. I swear, I have to look away from the screen!
So many questions. So few answers. But that's exactly why I'm obsessed. can't wait for the next episodes to drop, because I need to know what's really happening!
This show has it all - BL, mystery, horror, psychological drama - and it nails every single genre perfectly. I'm completely, utterly in love with "Mystique in the Mirror"
10/10 - A haunting, beautiful masterpiece.

TIMELINE CHAOS..
The connections in this story are insane. Everything feels tied together in this weird but smart way that slowly unfolds .At first it feels like a normal thriller but then the whole timetravel phone connection thing starts messing with your head in a good way.
The character development is actually strong especially how both leads lives start affecting each other across timelines.. that was really well done.
The way the timeline keeps changing between hope n loss is crazy. One moment you feel like everything is finally okay… and then bang reality twist again.
I was NOT ready for that emotional shift.. especially the reunion moments and then what follows after… it hits way harder than expected... dark turns.. kinda mentally exhausting too.. but yeah worth watching

beautifull tragic masterpiece
i swear i didnt see that comin... first time something like this actually hit me this hardAt first it felt like a normal suspense thriller… but slowly it turns into something way deeper n by the end its not just about mystery anymore.. morelike emotional destruction
What makes it hit harder is how you start understanding both sides.. it doesnt felt like simple hero vs villain but like two people who are connected in a very messed up.. painful way.
The ending scenes in the hospital… esp involving both leads… that literally moved me
The way things are revealed gradually makes you rethink the whole story again in your head... like youre trying to process what just happened even after it ends
Acting is totally insane... both leads carried the intensity perfectly till the very end.. TBH i have never seen a movie like this before.. its disturbing, emotional n brilliantly twisted
Definitely one of those films that stays in mind after watching

10/10 Everything was good
10/10 Everything was goodI love this genre, and this series did not disappoint. I have over 300 BL series on my watch list, and to me, this ranks up there with "Not Me". It is like "KinnPorsche" but with a more modest budget, so the only grouse I had was that it wasn't as slick and polished, and the special effects from the gunfight scenes weren't as convincing in the first few episodes (looked like it had to do with post-production editing).
Other than that one minus point above, everything else about the series was rather enjoyable. Having watched Daou and Offroad in another BL ("Century of Love"), I find their chemistry stronger than before and very effortless and natural- in intimate scenes, you don't feel like they are acting the part, but that they're just being themselves).
Their interactions in intimate scenes felt completely unforced and they seemed full of affection for each other. In all their scenes together, there were no awkward pauses-everything flowed smoothly and easily.
Both male leads are convincing in their roles and Offroad's performance, in particular, was nuanced- one could never really tell when his character (Pheem) was lying to Than or telling the truth. He was so poker-faced sometimes that it seemed that Pheem himself couldn't separate his own lies from the truth.
The script itself was pretty tight and the pacing was decent.
The other characters in the series were pretty standard, but fortunately, they were more often 3 dimensional than not.
The ending itself was sweet but I think it might have ended better (and with less cliche) if they had Pheem meet Than at his home rather than at the docks.
Overall a satisfying watch with more pluses than minuses.
The male leads' natural chemistry and effortless interactions made the relationship aspect convincing. I rarely write reviews but I find that Daou-Offroad are often under-rated and under-appreciated by viewers, so wanted to point out that their acting is pretty good and they could
pull off this series rather well.

7/10 Dreamy Premise, Sleepy Execution
CherrieH-4 23 de julho de 2025The premise is actually pretty fresh for a BL series and definitely has potential... but-keep reading.
I Saw You In My Dream follows Ai, a university student who starts having strange, intimate dreams about his childhood friend and neighbor, Yu. Weird enough, those dreams begin playing out in real life, leaving Ai confused and slowly catching feelings.
Ai He honestly looks tired of Yu's antics-and I don't blame him. Yu's been pranking him since they were kids. With all the dream stuff happening, it makes total sense that Ai's questioning everything.
Yu The older, playful neighbor. He used to have a girlfriend but they broke up. Deep down, he's clearly hurting, but tries to brush it off with his usual playful front.
Now for the overall vibe...
This show is definitely a slow burn-and maybe a bit too slow.
Not much happens for a while aside from Ai constantly dreaming about Yu. The real intimate moments? They don't happen until episode 8. The plot mostly revolves around jealousy and a love triangle, plus Ing bottling up his feelings for Yo. It gets a little repetitive, which makes the story feel stretched and the writing a bit dull.
That said, the kisses and NC scenes were well done, and I appreciated the supportive, open-minded parents-that was a nice touch. The chemistry between the leads and their sweet moments helped keep it going. But honestly, watching it felt like forever because of all the filler scenes. It could've been stronger if they focused more on the important stuff and trimmed the excess.
Great cast, but the execution was just... okay. Like I said, there's potential here, but the repetitive plot kind of drags it down.
Would I recommend it? I won't say "don't watch it." Take a chance on the first few episodes and see how you feel.

strong action.. but somethin felt missing
i liked it but it didnt fully hit the way i expected.story is powerful and the action parts really well done.. lead actor especially was insane(in a nice way) .. his emotional scenes and intensity carried a lot of the drama
but the main issue is the flow.. just when a character starts developing properly.. the focus suddenly shifts to someone else so it felt that the emotional buildup keeps gettin interrupted
the protagonist main pain point especially related to his brother’s suicide and everything tied to that felt like it could’ve been explored deeper... its there but not as clearly or strongly as it could have been
Even the friendship n chemistry between the main characters (esp with Kim namyoong) felt a bit underdeveloped.. it was oky but not fully impactful
and Kim seungjin character… honestly felt incomplete.. like they gave him importance at the start but didnt fully finish his arc properly which was kinda unsatisfying
one thing I also couldnt fully connect with was the blue sky planes thing tied to the protagonist.. looked meaningful but I personally didnt fully get its emotional purpose
still the acting was top tier... main lead's emotional performance and action delivery was really strong
like a good watch for pure action loverss .. but slightly uneven emotional depth

10/10 One to watch regardless if you like BL or not
There is only one episode so far, but this series is already a success, not even because of numbers, just because you can see in every scene, every detail, every shot, every sound, every line, there is effort put into it. There were two years of planning on how to make this series perfect, and filming happened on a crazy schedule, long hours and daily, and you can SEE the effort of the actors on delivering the scenes incredibly. The theme score for this is amazing and conveys the vibe of the series, not to mention its sung by Pooh and Pavel, the main actors, themselves. I urge anyone who is NOT into BL or does NOT know Pooh and Pavel's acting: GIVE THIS A TRY. This is unlike any other one. This is horror. This is Crime investigation drama, and this is slow budding romance. Absolute 10/10 score.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
9/10 Action/Fantasy BL Dream.
I didn't know much going into this, but I was not disappointed in the least. The special effects truly were amazing, despite one scene that looked like an old videogame. The plot was unique and I really enjoyed how it all played out. In the beginning I didn't expect that much from the fantasy bit, all I knew was that their past lives would draw them together in the present- as the series progressed I got more and more interested in it, especially when I saw the Naga for the first time in episode 2. I gasped many times as the fantasy aspect kept growing.Other than the amazing plot, I also could fall in love with the characters. The beginning was hot guys doing specialized training and arguing (good enough for me), then we get more into Tharn and Phaya and it was obvious they had undeniable chemistry that only grew more and more. The story between them was a whole rollercoaster and I enjoyed every second. I never imagined a BL series like this had been made, it stole my heart and I hope more fantasy series continue to be made.

A jade of a show!!
So I will begin by saying if there's ever a drama starring Zhang Ling He where anyone thinks the acting or chemistry was bad, it would definitely be the fault of his co-star(s) or the crew, but certainly not his!ZLH is just the best, he's so good at controlling his expressions & body language he makes you just fall into him without knowing it.
And Tian Xi Wei is able to give off that simple-minded yet sincere & unpretentious vibe, just like in New Life Begins.
POJ is such a well-made drama. The cinematography, costumes, and sets were really nice. The atmosphere in Xigu lane was so refreshing.
The acting was top-notch, even the villains did well. Little Changning was cute, the pig butcher squad hilarious, then there were annoying ones like that Kang granny who ultimately redeemed herself with her sacrifice.
Deng Kai & Snow Kong had about as much screen time as ZLH & TXW, their chemistry was off the charts & they had so many kissy scenes. I actually liked him, even more so as I learned his backstory.
ZLH is such a cutie, hottie, & everything in between 😍😘😍 his kisses 💋💋 give me all the feels!🙊🙈 After that scene with the aphrodisiac, he looked like he could swallow TXW. He's most definitely amongst my top 5 Chinese actors! I love how his characters aren't always all sweet & proper, he harbours a little mischief & even wickedness sometimes😄😄Iike how he & TXW beat up that Song Yan guy, or how he was even jealous & tripped his own son at d end of Story of Kunning Palace 😄😆
POJ sits at the upper echelon of Chinese dramas for me, alongside the likes of FH, POB, SOYP, BIA, SOKP, TD, YYY, & Blossom.
9.0 rating. My only regret is that they didn't show some fights scenes, rather, they just showed the aftermath. Would've been really nice to see more of ZLH's fight scenes.

Totally worth the time
I was skeptical about this one since there wasn’t a good series recently…… total 10 stars and worth the 3 days…. Loved the last episode post credit scenes… loved the story and the actors…. All the characters were played by wonderful actors….. will keep coming back for favourite scenes…. Worth another watch probably…. Won’t get to it until can remember… when I start forgetting dialogue willl certainly rewatch.Thought it would be something like LLTG, surprisingly refreshing after a good series slump.
It’s my first review…… it has been that good… I felt jaded before watching and refreshed after….. hope people keep coming up with new stuff

Two strangers, one photograph standing in for a groom, and the most genuinely earnest romance
A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You is a slow-burn arranged marriage drama set in 1930s pre-war Japan. He is a naval officer who expresses himself with the blunt sincerity of a man defusing a bomb. She is an airhead with quiet steel underneath. Together they are an absolute disaster and I mean that as the highest possible compliment. What sets this drama apart is how confidently it sidesteps its own conventions. The jealousy never spirals. The misunderstandings resolve through actual communication. The brooding male lead turns out to be just genuinely, hopelessly clueless. It sets up every familiar romance trope and quietly does something more interesting instead every single time.
The second couple mirrors the leads beautifully without stealing focus, the pre-war backdrop adds weight without overwhelming the warmth, and the writing is disciplined enough to earn every feeling it generates.
Ten episodes felt both too short and exactly right.
9/10 — unhurried, unguarded, and the kind of unforgettable you don’t see coming.

A different kind of love story
This drama was interesting. Definitely the most impressive role I have seen IU in. Thinking about how Lee Sun-kyun could probably act his role out so easily in this because he seemed to be depressed in real life too, makes me really sad… Him comitting suicide a few years ago gives this drama an even heavier tone…First of all, let’s talk about the story:
For me personally, the story was not very relatable. The office intrigues were a bit too much for me. The married couple struggles, cheating and complicated family dynamics were things I couldn’t relate to. Ji An’s situation with the debt and murder were also extreme cases that neither I nor most people can relate to. Despite all these factors that made it hard for me to relate to, this drama captivated me in a differen way from typical dramas.
I was curious: What will happen to Ji An? How will she develop a bond with Dong Hoon? What will happen to the office intrigues? Will the cheating be found out?
But what captivated me the most was the unique relationship between Ji An and Dong Hoon. It’s so different from your typical romantic K-Drama relationship. Their relationship is not based on romantic love or family love or love between friends. I think their love for each other is that of two depressed people who have forgotten how to love themselves. They are each other’s mirror. By trying to love the other, they are slowly learning how to love themselves. They couldn’t love themselves but seeing how there was another person more pitiful than themselves, they made it their mission to try and love someone as pitiful or even more pitiful than them. By protecting and loving that other person brings them closer to trying to love themselves…
This drama also had a lot of beautiful quotes. Not to mention the incredible soundtrack!!! Grown Ups by Sondia is a song that will always make me cry immediately and I will have scenes of the drama in my head: them on the train going home, her crying over his pain while listening to him breathe heavily, his voice expressing his deep emotional state, her crying on the bridge…
The acting of all characters in this drama was top-notch! It’s rare to see so much quality in one place.
The cinematography is fantastic too. Especially the scenes when they get drunk at their go-to bar with the blurry vision kind of filming impressed me. The state of being drunk but not fully happy… when life feels so heavy that even alcohol can’t make it feel sweet… it was captured so well in that cinematography…
Sadly there were some things that bothered me a bit.
Apart from the office intrigue I already mentioned, I was a bit annoyed by the brothers, especially Gi-hoon. Also his relationship with the actress was kinda random. I did like the actress and her pov on things. She had some good quotes as well but I didn’t quite understand how their relationship fit into the drama.
Also the drama was a bit too much male-oriented. There were a lot of male-based struggles and povs.
Although I loved Jeonghui, I found her obsessive love for the monk a bit unrelatable. I didn’t quite understand why she was still not over him after 20 years. I would have wished some more explanation. What kind of love did they have that made her still not get over him. And what was the reason for him to leave such a love behind and become a monk.
All in all, the drama was wrapped up well in the end. The found family was heart-warming in the end and the message of the drama was just chef’s kiss!
My Mister made me want to start a K-Drama quotes journal so I might have to do that soon
I can only recommend this drama to everyone!
