Loads of Fun with warmth and charm
Phantom Lawyer is a lively series built around episodic cases with a rotating cast of guest actors, anchored by an overarching narrative that keeps the story moving forward. The structure allows Yoo Yeon-seok to showcase a wide emotional range as he embodies different spirits, while Esom plays an effective straightman, grounding the show’s lighter, sometimes comedic tone. The supporting cast, particularly Kim Mi-kyung, adds warmth and credibility to each case, helping even shorter storylines feel emotionally complete. The balance between standalone episodes and a continuing conflict with an opposing attorney gives the series cohesion without sacrificing its flexibility.

Worth the wait
LUAT team encountered a lot of hardship while filming this, and it took them years to officially release it, and all I could say is it's worth the wait.Word building is really good. You can clearly see the crew did their very best to transmigrate the viewers along with Nakhun to 400 yrs ago. Even the extras' acting feels natural. The wardrobe ate as well. They also ensure viewers will see how people lived back then, from how they bathed and brushed their teeth.
Perfect casting. Nakhun had a lot of similarities to JJ. Even their birthmarks are similar lol, crazy coincidence. It seems like he's destined to play Nakhun. This might be the reason why he acts Nakhun really well. I don't really see any actor playing Nakhun without being cringey to watch. With JJ, it just feels natural. He doesn't even need to try. Net and LatteKim as well, they really own the character and played it really well.
The pacing is really good. I'm actually surprised how smooth the pacing is because in the novel it's actually a slow burn. Also, I love the comedy parts; it's like giving you a candy before hammering you with angst lol.
Overall, it's a good series. Great, even. DMD is really on top of their game these past few months. From Khemjira, TNP, Duang With You, and now LUAT? BANGER after BANGER. 🙌
I hope they keep releasing BL series likes this. And I hope y'all give LUAT a chance. ♡

So close to perfection
I really REALLY liked this one. The chemistry between Pooh and Pavel is amazing, and I'm not just talking about NC scenes. They work so well together. The story is interesting too. Its a horror bl for sure. There are mysterious moments. There are scary moments. There are also funny and sweet moments. It had me hooked.
I watched every second on the edge of my seat, until the final episode. Writers. Please. Listen to me. The ending is so incredibly important. This ending could have been better, which was especially disappointing given how good the rest of the show was. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it overall and rate it highly. A better ending gets 10 of 10.

The souls of the deceased return to the world one last time when their families come to say goodbye.
Heartwarming and heart-wrenching.Fittingly, this film is dedicated to the memory of Ryōko Sasa (佐々 涼子), the author of the original novel, who passed way between the release of the series and the film.
If you enjoyed the series, you will love this. If you’ve never seen the series, I highly recommend watching it first, but I think the film stands on its own. Either way, make sure you have a box of tissues nearby.
The stories of the deceased are varied across multiple demographics, so it’s likely that anyone watching will be rocked by at least one of them. The subject matter is heavy and you’ll go on a roller coaster of emotions. Between the sad and uplifting moments there is some light comedy to break everything up.
You won’t notice the 139 mins runtime because the editing is done well and doesn’t linger on any one story for too long.
Yonekura Ryoko leads a great cast. Everyone including the Japanese and international actors did a great job of portraying the emotions of the characters.
Diegetic music is used well to aid in telling the stories and non-diegetic music is beautiful and understated.
I will rewatch this along with the series when I’ve forgotten enough about the stories and I’m in the mood to be punched in the gut again.

You will keep guessing until the end!!!
Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster - and don’t trust anyone. The Price of Confession was, to say the least, a very unusual drama. You might expect it to follow a more traditional crime series format, with one clear protagonist you can fully root for. This drama isn’t like that at all. While we do have our “ride or die,” Ahn Yunsu, I honestly found it hard to fully trust her throughout the series.
The same goes for Mo Eun (Kim Go Eun’s character). In most stories, she would easily be framed as the villain—but not here. She does an incredible job portraying a character whose biggest flaw is her lack of empathy for humanity, and this contrasts so well with Yunsu’s more transparent nature and her extreme empathy.
The backstories of both characters make them deeply empathetic, even when they make morally gray- and sometimes morally questionable- decisions. I genuinely enjoyed watching them navigate the mess they were thrown into.
That said, this drama is very fast-paced and engaging, so you’ll probably end up binge-watching it—prepare accordingly. The acting from both actresses was phenomenal, and the script was well-written.
Overall, this is a must-watch for any crime and murder mystery fan.

Slow start but worth the watch
First Love tells the story of damaged people navigating their lives in the aftermath of frustrated dreams. Its split timelines and generational parallels create an artsy structure that can feel confusing and emotionally distancing at first, but the acting and scenario ultimately reward viewer patience. The series is well acted and directed, and the script gains momentum after the early episodes, delivering a more engaging and emotionally coherent second half.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
Quite Possibly One of the Most Important Shows to Watch
I went into this not expecting a lot. I am SO GLAD I was proven wrong. Don't let the opening scene scare you away. There IS a beautiful story to be told here. Many, in fact. And I know I, for one, needed a show like this when I was becoming a young adult and no other adults around me wanted to explain things to me. This is educational at its base and fun at its peak. I think everyone should give this a go. It lays so much out there and shows this is not supposed to be a taboo subject. It's normal, natural, and human. I loved this and have already recommended it to others.Plus, it had me squealing at the CUTENESS OMG. It really was SO cute throughout the show. Anyone know where I can find someone like Dr Kang? This was such a satisfying watch.

Beautiful Chinese drama.
This drama made me laugh, cry, get angry, and feel the rage, helplessness, and pain that the characters, especially Ji Ling, felt. 🥹 There was no dull moment; all the characters were well-developed and had very distinct but charming personalities. I was absolutely charmed by the character Ji Ling, my baby, my little boy, my sunshine. I cried a lot with his story; despite suffering many misfortunes, he was always a ray of sunshine and a sweetheart. I really identified with his character and I was surprised that he was an INFP LIKE ME AAAAHG OMG. Despite everything, I'm very glad he had his happy ending, living like a normal person without the burdens and suffering of loneliness. I really liked his character development. Tian Jia Rui is a spectacular actor; he did not disappoint at all, perfectly portraying several characters. I clearly noticed the difference in each of their attitudes; he was able to convey to me the pain, loneliness, suffering, devotion, and love he felt for Lu Wuyi.I loved the romance story of both couples, both well-developed. My favorite without a doubt is the WuWu couple/ship; their chemistry was incredible! I honestly didn't expect the bed scene. It was well done, I completely loved that couple. For a moment I thought it was going to have a very tragic ending, but thank God it didn't. My favorite arc is when Wu Wangyan and Wu Shiguang entered the dragon illusion; their relationship was very romantic and sweet. And the fact that Wu Shiguang cut off his arm and leg to get closer to his beloved Wangyan, who was worried and desperate to have him near 🥹. My favorite character is Wu Wangyan, although sadly he didn't have much screen time, he still managed to capture my attention and that of the viewers; he has a natural charm. Chen Duling perfectly embodied Wu Wangyan; she has the beauty and talent to do it, it's a shame the director didn't appreciate her despite the dedication she put into the role.
As for the visual aesthetics it's incredible, no actor or actress is ugly at all, everyone is visually appealing and the costumes worn by all the characters looked high quality and spectacular. I really loved the fox sisters' outfits, and Ji Ling looked divine in the Dragon God's clothes, even though they had a painful meaning; he looked gorgeous in those hanfus.

Excellent acting for a decent low-budget Mini drama
A remake of a classic, “Fated in the Martial World” definitely can’t compare to its predecessor, “Mission of the Warriors”, and might even disappoint fans of the original. This is a small budget production headlined by B, C, D-listers. I actually did not watch the original 2001version , and I am reviewing this drama as a low budget production.I actually quite enjoy the plot of the story. A story of bloodbath, revenge, martial world’s selfishness and greed, love, friendship and camaraderie. It’s a typical wuxia plot and I love this genre. The acting is surprisingly good, especially when I had no expectations coming into this. The cast is actually quite experienced in mini dramas. Led by Guan Chang and Wu Chong Xuan, their performance is better than some actors in bigger productions. They not only give off the correct vibes of their characters, but also do well in subtle emotional scenes.
The foursome has great chemistry. I enjoy the romance between the leads. There’s just enough romance to keep me happy, yet doesn’t derail from the revenge plot. I love their proposal and wedding scene, and it was quite unique with how they handle the marriage letter. The love triangle/square is not annoying but quite respectful. The friendship developed between the two female characters is beautiful to witness.
My biggest disappointment of the drama is the wuxia portion, specifically the action scenes. There are too many slow motion fight scenes to my liking, and not enough actual fights. There are many ‘chi’ aka internal power fighting. I would have loved to see the actors swinging the swords more. The last battle is super disappointing and anti-climatic. Additionally, in the first half of the drama, our formidable leads get hurt or faint way too often. I also rarely see the prowess of the female lead, when she’s supposed to fight really well.
“Fated in the Martial World” is a short mini drama with episodes ranging from 12-20 minutes long. It’s not bad for what it is, but could be disappointing to fans of the original drama or novel. The acting is really good and I enjoy actors not having the white filter or white makeup treatment. Wu Chong Xuan looks like a healthy, manly warrior and is quite hot in this drama. LOL

whoever doesn't watch this show is truly missing out!
melody of secrets is actually an underrated masterpiece and i’m serious. it’s not the type of bl you can just play in the background because the story really makes you pay attention—everything connects later and the tension builds slowly each episode. the whole memory loss + investigation plot keeps you guessing, and some scenes hit harder because they don’t over-explain anything. the atmosphere is heavy and quiet most of the time, which makes the emotional moments feel more real.and forcebook really carried this. you can tell their acting has upgraded to another level. they’re always delivering the emotions naturally, especially in the small details. it never feels forced. honestly, it deserved way more attention than it got.

I had to watch this one! ?
Alright, my 2026 series list starts now. I must admit, I've been waiting for this series to finish for a long time. I just don't like waiting every single week to see the story continue. Another reason was that I haven't finished my 2025 series yet (I still owe a few series, but I just couldn't wait, I had to watch this one! 😭)If you had asked me a couple of years ago, I would have said I felt annoyed with Duang's character. Being silly and childish while courting someone doesn't seem like it would work in real life. However, after watching the first five episodes, I realized there is something interesting about this series that pushed me to finish it on time (right during the week the season finale aired).
I don't really care about the side couple's story (Jamie and Marvis), but I truly appreciate the friendship among the group. It is so strong that it made me think of my two best friends back in college who always came to my room every time I called because there was a cockroach (yeah, I hate them 🤣)
One thing that could have been better was the last episode. I don't think they wrapped the series up properly. You know I hate lovey-dovey moments, right? The last episode had the most skipped scenes for me. Also, I really hope Pae gets a chance to have his own story, as it could provide a better view of why those three are so close.

Dimple Couple
My dimple couple its the best !!!

What a Cliche!
It's really good to begin with, the nice and slick storyline, the new and great that something are so much better than it's doesn't last long. In the mid, the good one turning into boring and classic GMMTV that it's not what I hope for. It's crushing down, boring, too standart, from funny to became boring, feels like old gmmtv series wrapped into one. I feel like it's waste of time to watch this is.... Like they can make it to different storyline not like regular one ? It's really waste of everything, the actor, the acting or whatever it's included. This is not what i wish for. Really disappointed over here. Can't give more than 6.5¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
Somewhat Silly Scammers
After Perfect10Liners, I was super excited to see Junior and Mark as leads again. Plus, I was excited to see Ohm and Poon act together for the first time! Both pairings did not disappoint! The story definitely centers more on Junior and Mark, but frankly, their characters have a better/more complex storyline anyway, so I was pretty happy with the split. I do think there were a few points in the show where the conflict seemed a little too easily resolved compared to the weight it should have had, but I think that's the kinda thing you're bound to run into when you're doing a romcom with betrayal in it. Still, this was a great watch with a good balance of humor and seriousness.Tim (Junior) is a scammer and his current plan is to scam the CEO of a large mall, Pai (Mark), by making Pai fall in love with him so he can marry him and take his money. Of course, the one rule that every scammer should follow is not to fall in love with the target. Tim spends months and months winning Pai over, pretending to be the perfect boyfriend, etc. until he can finally propose to Pai. Just when everything seems perfect, Pai's younger cousin North (Poon) elopes with U (Ohm), who he randomly met on a hiking trip and has known less than a week. The sudden marriage makes Pai concerned that U might be a scammer, and makes Pai nervous about weddings in general. Tim, realizing Pai is right about U being a scammer, has to try to not blow his own cover by outing U and manage to convince Pai they should still get married. But, all truths will eventually have to be revealed, and at this point it seems Tim has already majorly failed the most important rule of scamming.
I think this show was really fun overall. Honestly, the idea of Tim and U being scammers would have been much more intriguing to me if this wasn't a romcom, but was more of an intense and serious drama. I found that sometimes the comedy took away from the intensity of the whole getting betrayed by the person you love thing. Still, if you like a more balanced show, this one definitely has its ups and downs with serious portions broken up by the more comedic sections. Some of the conflicts and plot points are lost a little too fast (I feel like we totally forgot about the debt collectors??), but the acting from Mark especially really made me enjoy this one. Worth watching if you need something with some depth, but don't want something too intense.
