I will say this starts out slow you need to get in about 5 episodes for this drama to take off but given how many characters this is going into this storyline you have to give it the chance for character development and back history to fill in.
I do thing it coulda ended in 20 eps and not 25 but overall I found the storyline compelling and
Change Janine and Mike He's performance / chemistry is outstanding. If you're looking for a campy sort of drama this is probably not for you but if your looking for a drama exercising family dynamics and building of relationships this might be the drama for you.

As much as I loved the first season of Shinya Sokudou (I gave it a 9), Shinya Shokudo 2 may be better. The stories are slightly less predictable, and the acting improved.

You could watch season 2 without watching season 1, but I think season 2 may not be as good if you don't experience the connection that develops through season 1.

It follows the same formula as the first season. The story centers around a cafe/diner that is only open from midnight to until breakfast. Each episode focuses on the experiences of an individual patron and can be watched independently. However, the episodes in season 2 are slightly more connected than season 1 (just barely).

The mood is similar to season 1: melancholy and bittersweet.

Season 2 really feels like it may be the end of this drama, which kinda brought tears to my eyes.

It's quiet and reflective, so you have to be a person who likes that sort of thing and in the right mood to watch it.

I wouldn't rank this as one of the best dramas in 2011. This is highly overrated in my opinion. It starts a little boring but picks up the pace after the prison break. The plot is not exactly unique but at least different from other Korean dramas from the Joseon Dynasty. To be honest, I actually regret that I started watching this. Too much crying by the lead actor and it's a tad too long for a drama just to introduce the korean alphabet. There are also interesting yet underdeveloped characters such as Karpei and Yoon Pyung. It would've been better if they provided us with back stories and how they came to work for the Hidden Root.

I love the manga and the japanese version, i can't count how many times i have read/watched it. I actually never get tired of it! So of course i'm glad there are so many different versions. But i have to say that i didn't like BBF. I only watched it because it was eye-candy (hot actors, great music, glamourous...). I wouldn't say it's not worth watching - i don't regret it - but the only thing i enjoyed was the storyline... so nothing really surprising, it's got nothing to do with them, i can only thank the mangaka for that ...
Oh and i couldn't finish it. The real issue with this drama is that i wasn't convinced by their acting and the way they adapted the story at all. It's not that they're bad actors - far from that, i love them - just that something is off. I don't understand their feelings, i especially don't believe their feelings,it all seems far-fetched. Sure, it IS a drama after all. But i could really believe and understand in the japanese version, even though i hate the main actress and the actors are not that good-looking (and i don't really like shun oguri). Ok, jun matsumoto is great- guilty.
So it all comes down to this: even though everything singled out is better in BBF (hot hot hot actors!) , the result isn't that great. I didn't feel anything watching this, whereas i went through a roller coaster of emotions in HYD (much much better!)

If you don't want to watch the same story several times, please watch the japanese version. I would recommend this drama only for those who already saw the japanese version and really love it , and have some time to waste (cause let's face it, there are much better dramas).

OH MY GOSH. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE ITTTT.

You will become as addicted as me when you finally watched all of the episodes. It was really really really greaaaaat.

Shin Min-ah and Lee Seung Gi had this really perfect and appealing chemistry. I didn't even notice that Shin Min-ah is older than him because their chemistry was THAT great.

At first, the story was all funny and hilarious until they actually fell in love and BAMMM! it became all touchy and sad. I have no idea how many tissues I had when I was watching this.

This drama brought laughter, smile, and a lot of tears. And I probably have re-watched it for 5 times and I always cried and laughed although I've known the story.

WATCH IT!!!!

ONE OF THE BEST KOREAN DRAMA EVEEER.
Trust me it's really good.
The story and the actors captivated me.
It felt like this movie had its own charm and attractive side and it hypnotized me to keep watching more, more, and moreeee

Park Shi Hoo and Moon Chae Won gave me a good chill and they had that awesome chemistry. At first I didn't really think they would make a really great couple, but it turned out wrong. They turned to be one of my favorite on-screen couples. Seriously, they are really great.

The story is a bit extraordinary and it was quite unpredictable. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of historical drama, but this drama is an exception.

The movie was really awesome and I want to re-watch it allllll the time.
So, the conclusion is:

WATCH IT BECAUSE THIS DRAMA WON'T MAKE YOU FEEL REGRET AFTER YOU WATCH IT. :D

Switch Girl.

I started watching this drama because I've been craving for some jdrama recently. The subbing for Switch Girl is currently very very slow. I don't even think that episode one is subbed. And so what I did was read the manga first [online of course] and then watch the drama. Fortunately, they follow the manga pretty well except for some little changes here and there.

Story: The story is pretty average I believe. Although I can see some potential. It's not done yet so I'm sure it'll get better over time.

Cast: I like the main actress. She has a pretty face as well as the main actor. They both act very well and they have chemistry. But their heights bug me though. But I don't hold that against any of them.

Music: The music's okay. Not that good but not bad either.

Rewatch: Possibly.

Overall: I'd still recommend it. One reason is because its a live-action and another because i like the actors in it.

I haven't read the manga but I did watch the anime version of Skip Beat and I must say this drama is really currently doing a great job! :) So I scored really high on the story since I love a good revenge drama.

I gave a 9 on the actors because they really are good in acting. Also because I know Siwon and Donghae and some of the Taiwanese actors and actresses from previous dramas. I do not know the main actress though and i don't really like her a lot. But maybe she'll grow on me.

I really LOVE the opening theme song! Its very catchy.

200 Pounds Beauty. I really loved it. I've watched this a couple of years ago and it is a movie that I have been watching over and over again.

The OST for this movie was GREAT! especially the 'Maria' one. I think that everyone loves a revenge movie. and this movie approached that subject really well.

Although, the romantic aspect of this movie was not delivered as I hoped it should be. The actors were great. The main actress was really pretty and acted really well. As well as for the other actors and actresses of this movie.

Overall, this movie is a must-see for people of all ages. I'd really recommend it! :)

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge is a drama with not a lot of sticking power. That does not mean I didn’t like it. It has some really good episodes but overall it didn’t leave me with that joyful feeling of watching something great. It didn’t leave me feeling a little sad it was over.

The writing was uneven. There was a fun supernatural element along with the premise of 4 flower boys living in a mansion and charged with turning a goth girl into a lady. The friendships were portrayed nicely and the love story was cute. Some episodes were good. But some were just bad. The last one left me cold, with a twist I did not like.

The acting was uneven. Some gave pretty good performances. Kamenashi Kazua was a standout. But he’s been pretty good in the three dramas I have seen. Oomasa Aya was good as the girl who loves blood and skulls and death. The others were a little choppy but I got passed it because I liked the friendship between the four boys.

I think I have seen too many really stellar dramas to fall in love with this one. But having mentioned the negative things let me mention a few things that I liked: I loved the relationship development between Kyohei and Sunako. They truly had some very funny moments together and some very touching and cute ones as well. I liked how fast he came to accept her even if he took a long time to sort out his feelings. Sunako truly had some fun/funny personality quirks. The dynamic of friendships in the house between everyone was enjoyable and kept me watching until the end. I loved that house! I want it!

The music was forgettable except for one little detail: The bar/café they frequent has a very fun detail, almost easter egg to watch for. I’m not going to spoil it here but watch closely. Once you figure it out…It’s very fun to keep your eye out for.

The rewatch value is low for me. I probably won’t watch this again.
This is a cute drama…it has it’s value and it’s place. If you like supernatural elements in dramas and a cute love story, this is one drama you may like.

Warning: This review may be somewhat biased because I totally identified with the struggles of the female lead character ... so this is a drama that left a huge impression on me and I think about it often.

A well-done drama about two lifelong friends, who once they move in together, realize how much they mean to each other. Where does the line between friendship and love start to blur?

This is a heartwarming drama that may seem a bit cliched and predictable off the bat. Can a guy and a girl just be best friends, especially when they start to share a home together? But the journey to the end, with these endearing characters, are worth it.

The main leads have wonderful chemistry with one another and the plot moves along in a natural and realistic manner. The side characters are not just for filler, they are interesting and well-fleshed as well.

I really identified with Soo Ae's character's struggles on a personal level : a lot of the tensions in the drama come from the struggles of a ticking clock (age) and trying to find a place in the world, in terms of love and career.

A highly recommended romantic comedy.

A gang is left to care for the adorable baby of their former gang leader. All kinds of hijinks ensue.

To be honest, I was laughing non-stop throughout this entire series. Wacky characters and hilarious dialogue and wonderful comedic timing from all the characters. Son Chang Min and Lee Jong Soo stole the show with their comedic prowess. Plus, the baby was super cute.

Just want to mention that there are some mature themes and content, as a warning. There is some potty humor and some crude(ish) scenes. But nothing too graphic.

A cheeky and hilarious drama that shines with warmth and themes of friendship and brotherhood.

A manga adaptation in which a college student attends an agricultural university and realizes that he can see microorganisms with his naked eye and communicate with them.

This drama took my interest as I am biology major and I wanted to see how the drama could make bacteria interesting. The drama does a good job of being informative without being too stuffy and ... the bacteria were super cute.

The acting fell a bit short a few times throughout the series but all the characters were interesting enough. The plot was entertaining and seemed to go by smoothly.

Cute and most of all, amusing.

To be honest the review is a bit uncomplete. I have only watched 1 episode and yet I find this so addictive. I had only watched 15 minutes of the first episode and I had cried so much!
Lee Min Ho is fantastic.
The drama portrays so much emotion it's hard not to feel as the characters do.
This is also my first KDrama, and I'm glad that I chose this one to watch first. I've always avoided KDramas but now I really don't get why I did! If you miss out on this you miss out on probably the most awesome drama ever.

I cannot wait to watch the next episode! XD

I really like Jang Geun Seok and Kim Jae Wook and I had heard good thing about Moon Geun Young, so I started watching this with high hopes. And those three certainly didn't dissapoint! They were awesome.

Unfortunately, the story was lacking at the start and downright awful and ridiculous at the end. The dialogue wasn't awful, but it was like there was no character development at all and the choices the characters made were illogical and obviously only to create some dramatic effect.
It didn't; it didn't make me excited for the next episode, instead I found myself thinking:'I have to watch ANOTHER episode without a proper plot?!' But the three people in the love triangle are so charming, that it made it at least watchable. But I certainly do NOT recommend this show.
