Killer ethics
My hopes for season 2 were answered in some ways. We do see how good Jin Man is good at setting up or at least assembling the people to create intricate black market shopping mall for professional killers or hide outs at different locations and help him run it. The drama shows Ji Ahn getting straight forward mercenary/special forces training without it being couched as something else, but not much coaching from Jin Man to be the successor to the bloody family business, she already hits the ground making plans. She's always shown to be very smart and quick to pick up on what she needs to do in a situation to survive, but it would have been more satisfying if her mastermind leadership side was built up through the earlier episodes than appearing fully formed already. There needed to be more a lot more scenes of their Mutherhelp family bonding together in their new shop before half of them died. There were too much time given to the Babylon side, way too much Bale who needed to have died in the first episode. Kusanagi starts off with the perfect balance of believable villain and chewing scenery, but tips all the way into the latter category by the end. There was too much of her scenes as well. Q is a cute petite, deadly killer team leader who has a cute relationship with her team and harbors a crush for Jin Man which does not stop her from full on wanting to kill him when she was mislead to think he killed her brother, which good for her. I also get why she didn't stick around to have the promised meal with him from when they met that one time years ago. Jin Man is just all about dedicating his life to his niece daughter who had no choice but to be in this life whether she wants to or not. As Q notes, Ji Ahn also has that same look in the eyes as they all do including the both of them in this kind of life. At least Ji Ahn will flourish after giving up the normal life when giving it a good college try got her sweet fishing village orphan boyfriend killed. It was so moving when the one of the village grandmas comforts her all of the women their had husbands that died at sea for one reason or another just as Ji Ahn's boyfriend did, but she needs to continue to live. And so she does as the new CEO of a killer shopping network. If there's a season 3, I would like to see more of Jin Man and Jin Ahn working together to run things and maybe expand more of how he came to form the shop in the first place.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Truly a masterpiece in the action genre
I am not a huge fan of purely action dramas, movies or anything but this drama does it so well that it's hard not to watch. The fight scenes were choreographed so well it truly felt like you were watching two people fight. The punches look and feel like they land, the movements are so fast I can't imagine the effort these actors put in to make the story shine.I truly give it to these actors because they are the reason Bloodhounds will be immortalized in the action genre. I almost can't imagine watching them in a rom com. Or if I did, I would feel it is a waste of talent.
Anyways, if you like action or you don't, you will at the very least appreciate the perfection of this show and the actors.
(I'm only giving it an 8.5 because, as i said, it's not my favorite genre)

Navigating the Slow Burn
I don't really like it that much, to be honest. I was pretty curious during the first few minutes of the series. At first, I understood the time jumps or time skips, but then it happens a couple of times—not quite to the point where you get completely confused about what season or month it is, but more in a way that feels rushed.Because of all the skipping, it felt like we were being hurried through getting to know the characters and understanding what they mean to each other.
Take Chen Ke's situation: at first, I felt bad for the guy who ended up lashing out. Even on his first day, you could feel he wouldn't quite fit in. It wasn't entirely his fault because there were genuine instances where he was left out, but it wasn't really anyone else's fault either that he turned out the way he did. It was his choice, and instead of just speaking up with his roommate about it, he assumed the worst.
Throughout the series, despite being in university, the characters often feel a bit too innocent and naive. Not saying they all have to be completely hardened or mature, though!
For the main couple, the slow-burn really got dragged out. It took them eight whole episodes (or what felt like forever) to finally face what they feel, which resulted in us getting a frustratingly short amount of time seeing them actually together-together.
Given that it's set in an earlier era (around the early 2000s campus vibe), I kind of expected society to be much more constrained regarding same-sex relationships—and historically, it definitely was a massive deal—yet the show sometimes treats it like it wasn't all that earth-shattering.
On the bright side, the second couple had great chemistry with their fun, Tom-and-Jerry-like attitude. So when he initially got a girlfriend, I really thought it would just turn out to be a ghost ship. But then the girl broke up with him, and things happened with Ouyang. Even though their side-romance felt a bit rushed too, I'd say theirs was a lot more stable since they didn't make us circle around in endless miscommunications.
Production-wise, the university lacked a bit of decorum for not stepping in or helping Chen Ke when he clearly wasn't at fault.
The music wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. I don't usually comment too much on Chinese dubbing since I know most CD shows use it as a standard strategy, but there were definitely times when the sound mixing felt a bit odd. I really hope they can just use the actors' actual voices or live recordings instead of dubbing in the future.
Overall, I'd still give this a fair rating because I did enjoy the bickerings and the genuine story of people navigating their way into friendship and eventually love.

Royal emptyness
It doesn't feel like the writers wanted to write a time travel tale as the time travel aspects are what they're least interested in, yet they are unable to make the parts outside of it well either with weak if any cohesive emotional connections for the characters and the people in their lives..Seori doesn't make any sense at all, she acted like a regular person when she was a court lady, but becomes a loud over the top cartoon no matter which time period she was in. The the reveal that she swapped places with her historical counterpart when she was 12 makes everything even more nonsensical about her character. That age is too old for her not to remember she time traveled. How did she get all the fighting, medicine, skills, and that cartoon personality between the grand prince dying and she marrying up? Nothing explained. It's not explained how she finally figured out that jealous fellow extra has been harassing her boarding lodgings too.
Se Gye's awful toxic masculinity traits of being an angry jealous controlling rich guy prone to bouts of anger so much that the fake videos of him destroying things and being awful to people is not off base at all is portrayed as cute and comical, but it's just majorly off putting. Mun Do plays the devious villain very well without being over the top, he makes the main characters look bad. Not that those actors are bad at acting, but the writing for them is subpar compared to the writing for the villain guy.
They just barely mention the interesting concept of the original Dan Shin who lived in the modern time. Did people dismiss this little 12 year old actress talking like she's from the ancient times just prepping for a some drama? They don't have the two women talk or ever mean anything to each other. They had this gold mine to explore it was barely even in the background. There's no internal rules, logic, or stakes to anything regarding the time travel as well, just changing arbitrarily as the writers need to get to the next point. The show has awful costume designs for all of the modern clothes too.

Make It Right 2026: Something Just Isn’t Clicking ?
Okay, I’ll be honest: I watched the 2016 Make It Right, and I wasn’t exactly head-over-heels in love with it. But after watching the 2026 adaptation, I’m starting to appreciate the original more because, for me, it was more engaging.First, I really don’t think the casting is the problem. The new cast is young, good-looking, and I can see the potential. They’re also new to the industry, and most of them are playing teenagers, so obviously there will be some awkwardness. That part I can understand and I’m willing to give them time to grow.
My problem is more with how the scenes are being put together.
Sometimes it feels like the scenes are just being thrown at us randomly. There isn’t always a smooth flow from one scene to another, so I find myself wondering, “Wait, how did we get here?” It just doesn’t feel very cohesive.
There was even a scene where it was supposed to be a weekend, but you could clearly see students in uniforms in the background. Of course, maybe they had special classes or whatever, but little things like that make the whole thing feel a bit messy.
And now we’re already on Episode 4, but I honestly feel like the story is barely moving. It’s starting to feel stagnant and, unfortunately, a little boring. I keep waiting for that moment where things finally pick up, but I’m still waiting.
I’ve also noticed that I don’t see that many edits or clips from this series compared to other shows airing right now. Of course, that doesn’t automatically mean the series is doing badly, but it does make me wonder if other viewers are also struggling to find something that really grabs them.
And there are other ongoing high school series right now that are doing this kind of story really well. So I know the setting itself isn’t the problem. It’s really more about the execution.
Even Love Sick's 2024 adaptation was pretty well received, which shows that older stories can still be remade successfully when the adaptation feels fresh and well put together.
That being said, I genuinely want this series to do well. I feel bad being too harsh because you can tell the cast is putting effort into it. They’re young, they’re still learning, and hopefully they’ll become more comfortable with their characters as the series progresses.
So I’m really hoping the succeeding episodes will pick up because I WANT to like this. I want the cast to succeed, and I want all the effort they’re putting into this to pay off.
For now, though, I have to say… I wasn’t even that obsessed with the 2016 version, but somehow I’m sitting here thinking, “You know what? The original was better.”
Hopefully, Make It Right 2026 proves me wrong in the next few episodes. Please let them peak because I’m still rooting for these kids.

2026 BL OF THE YEAR
PAYBACK IS SO GOOD!!! How they did in ep 8 was amazing. It's not just that for the sake of nc scene, the way they execute those scene, the way they made you feel the love they have for each other, I still can't believe I have the privilege to watch payback. Ambição e poder
Gostei bastante de O Cisne Vermelho. O dorama tem uma história envolvente, cheia de personagens duvidosos. A trama mistura ganância, dinheiro, poder e ambição, mostrando até onde algumas pessoas são capazes de ir para conseguir aquilo que querem.Uma coisa que me chamou bastante atenção foi a dinâmica entre os personagens. Todo mundo parece esconder alguma coisa, e os plots vão deixando a história cada vez mais interessante. Em alguns momentos, o dorama me lembrou um pouco O Guarda-Costas, principalmente pela relação de proteção, perigo e proximidade entre os protagonistas.
E falando em romance… aqui tivemos praticamente migalhas 😂. O dorama entregou apenas um bjo e um aperto de mão, eu queria um pouco mais dessa parte, porque a química entre os protagonistas dava margem para desenvolver muito mais o relacionamento.
Agora, a mulher que faz a Mi-ran… minha gente, que mulher completamente louca! 😂 Ela interpretou tão bem que fiquei com ranço dela kkkkk
No geral, O Cisne Vermelho foi um dorama que me prendeu pela trama, pelos mistérios e pelos personagens controversos. Não é perfeito e senti falta de um romance mais desenvolvido, mas gostei bastante da história e dos plots.

Jiah was the highlight
I really enjoyed this drama. The story was interesting, and Ji Ah was easily my favourite. I loved how skilled, strong, and professional she was as an exorcist.
The ML annoyed me at first, but thankfully that changed after episode 3.
The plot kept getting more interesting, and I loved how my questions and theories were gradually answered. Even the confusion I had about the exorcism and Ji Ah’s mother was cleared up by the end.
The drama had a good mix of mystery, supernatural elements, and emotion. The romance wasn’t forced or made the main focus. I don't mind it cuz I wasn't really into their chemistry either.
overall, a decently good supernatural drama.
P.S. I think 10–12 episodes would’ve been better. 16 episodes felt a bit too long.

My rating is based on the writing, direction, cinematography, acting, editing, music, etc, and my review is not based on the content of the film. Though the film Way Back Home is not masterpiece quality such as Parasite or Midnight Express, it's a good film. The content, being the story itself, is not being reviewed.I will however, say concerning the story:
The movie, much like others over the decades, assures the audience through the wife's 'plight' that the 'every day citizen' CAN prevail over 'evil' bureaucracy, if one is persistent. What movies such as this don't provide is the other half of the story. I was always told there are 3 sides to any given story: THIS side, THAT side, and the TRUTH is somewhere in the MIDDLE.
It would've been nice to see more of the couple's story BEFORE the husband's choice to co-sign for a friend's loan. I needed to know more about what drove the wife/mother to such an extreme decision. The disconnect from being absolutely against her husband 'helping' his friend, Seo Moon Do, to going to the extreme opposite by calling Seo herself to accept the offer wasn't clear in the telling. I needed more facts.
Way Back Home is emotionally laden. I'd recommend as a one time watch bc it IS a gut wretching real life story. I rewatched WBH a second time as I did for Parasite and Midnight Express. I'm a sucker for a good underdog triumphant story.

A soft, and gentle series!
MilkLove got me sitting on this again. The story is full of soft fluff, comfort, and a dreamy high school vibe—one that doesn't have any toxic characters. It has introduced me to the idea that not every script needs to be packed with heavy lore. It has a pleasant, heartwarming light that made me connect with every single character, even the supporting roles.At first, after the first two episodes, I felt the series was a tad boring indeed, yet it is the kind of show that just requires a relaxing eye. I know that many people haven't been fond of this series for that exact reason. However, if you are looking for an easy, green-flag GL, then this is it.
I love how realistically they styled Milk for Ongsa's character, both in looks and personality—the ultimate down-bad, loser lesbian. And Love, oh my pretty, beautiful Love, she absolutely nailed her character as usual. Sun is everything in this series. She is so, so, so adorable and sweet with her maturity and level of understanding.
Admittedly, I didn't really like View at first; however, on repeated watches, I find myself looking forward to her scenes. Aylin's autism was portrayed well, and Luna’s constant presence and support for her completely hooked me. That being said, I suppose I am not as overly obsessed with the ViewJune ship as I am with the actual characters, Aylin and Luna.
AJ’s comedy and Ciize’s caregiving personality are top-notch. For the first time, I am happy to see Ciize in a GL because she isn't playing that annoying third wheel who comes between the two female leads, lol!
I am so thankful to GMMTV for pairing Godji with Golf! Like, oh my god! We finally got two trans women who are each other's romantic partners. I am super happy about that! ><
This is one of those cute, platonic, evergreen GL series that will always hold a special, soft spot in my heart.

Acho que fica claro que a serie tem um potencial imenso. Os 6 primeiros episodios voce simplesmente devora, é muito cativante o jeito como eles misturar a historia da série que estão gravando com a "vida real" dos personagens, ao ponto de voce dúvidas dos sentimentos e dos comportamentos da cada um deles. pra mim o grande problema está nos 3 últimos episodios, o clima simplesmente desaba e os problemas ficam mais do mesmo, terminando com uma cena de beijo 8 meses depois so termino que fica um pouco anticlimatica.a empresa deles fez de tudo para separa-los, para no fim a merda ser jogada no ventilador (incentivada pela Qin, o que pra mim nao fez muito sentido).
de forma geral adorei a atuação, a entrega e a construção de roteiro, mas acho que poderíamos ter sim um fim mais impactante como vinha sendo a serie até então.
tem valor de reassistir e acho impressionante que seja o primeiro trabalho dos protagonistas.

I really like both of the male characters in Semantic Error. They each have their own distinct charm, and you can clearly see the dynamic contrast between the two.For Sangwoo, I love his introverted, robot-like vibe. He sticks rigidly to his routines and logic, though I sometimes wish he had at least one close friend he could rely on to balance things out. As for the overarching story itself, there isn't an immense amount going on—at times, it feels like they weren't thrown into massive, high-stakes problems or plot twists that could drastically threaten their relationship.
Because of that, the conflict stays pretty contained. But honestly? That's part of its appeal. Overall, I like it because it's light, fun, and not overly complex, making it an easy and enjoyable watch when you just want something cute and refreshing.

A drama with no hospital scenes!
This drama started off quite well. I already liked the cinematography and color grading of this drama a lot. The main leads that were introduced, Si-woo and Ji-yoon were basically almost polar opposites. I loved the way they met for the first time and the end of episode 1 or 2 when she finally joins his task force reminded me a little bit of start-up.The main leads’ romance and how it started off and developped was really nice. Almost like enemies to lovers aka unlikeable boss and dedicated female co-worker which reminded me a bit of Her Private Life as well 😂 Although Si-Woo never disliked Ji-yoon to start with. I loved how he always had to suppress his laugh whenever he saw her in funny situations like at the convenience store or when her button popped 😂😂😂 Those scenes were always my faves! Oh and ofc the abundance of kiss scenes especially the steamy shower one 😍😍😍 I was likeeeee what’s going ooooonnnn!!!!!
I loved Seo In-guk’s acting in this and how he changed from stoic workaholic to an ever-smiling boss. Towards the end of the drama she was turning more into him bcs she got colder and more serious over time and he turned into her bcs he smiled more and started being friendlier to others 😂
I felt really sorry for Si-Woo and almost cried when he told her about his past! It was just so heartbreaking 🥺🥺🥺 I am so glad that they got together through all the struggles and short-term break-ups. Tbh during the second break-up after the wedding I was lowkey annoyed with FL. She just assumed things about his past and distanced herself from him without hearing him out. Luckily they sorted this break-up out successfully and it didn’t lead to any more drama.
It was also funny how her father found out about their relationship 😂😂😂 A lot of funny scenes!
Another funny element of this drama were the side characters, especially the two TF members. Na-ri and FL’s male bestie 😂 he had a lot of funnt scenes! Like how he was whincinf at the office when he found out some new scandal 😂or when he accidentally slipped up to FL about knowing that she and manager are dating and then trying to escape to the bathroom 😂😂😂 A lot of hilarious scenes! The male bestie was definitely the comic relief of the show 😂
I also liked the bestie No-Ah and her romance with the younger purple-haired guy 😍 Some people didn’t like it but I thought they were cute! One thing I didn’t like tho was when he said that he would follow her to the end of the world but when she actually told him she would be going to Senegal he wanted to break up with her and said he couldn’t do it 🙄🙄🙄
I guess Senegal is further away than the end of the world 😂😂😂 They did make up so that was cute. I kinda was hoping for some Senegal scenes tho. Never had a drama mention Senegal before! I really liked the representation. It’s always just America, France, Thailand or UK. Sometimes maybe Spain, Italy, Germany or Japan as well. But it was the first time I saw Senegal mentioned.
Then I really need to express my love for Mrs. Choi! What a badass woman! I love her! absolutely a green flag! I think I liked her a bit more than the female lead. In general all the women in this drama were absolute green flags 😍😍😍
In general I really liked the themes going on in this drama. How women are treated in workplaces in Korea. Like if you get married you will have a disadvantage. If you start a relationship with someone above you people will talk about favoritism and how your skills amd achievements will instantly be linked to the man…
There were also many themes of the difficulty of having a relationship and being in love and how difficult these things are even for adults with professional jobs etc. I liked how issues like these were presented but were not offered to be solved in one way or another. Everything is still left for interpretation.
All in all I enjoyed this drama a lot! It was actually nothing super unique but a cute little office slice-of-life.

At first i was aww then WTF??
After watching this am sorry but . Cheng Yi Chen, His mother ,Xiao Chen created the monster lu feng. His brother supposed to get paralysed from his mouth down and that should haven happened since episode 1😒. After all that his mom did she just said sorry and die, and Xiao chen he just pissed me tf off in this entire show. Not sure about the brother boyfriend. Hes just there 😔. Lu feng he was just toxic af do i understand his obsession yes , would i like a man like that in my life Fuck no🤣🤣. At least the dads went out with miminum drama😫. Enjoyed it yess. Why did I bother?
To be quite honest, I probably should have looked at the reviews and dropped this around like episode 4. What starts off as a pretty interesting idea for a thriller quickly peters out - and the worst part of it all is that the only reason why I stuck around is that admittedly, the leads (Min Namkoong specifically) put in 10 to 15 dollar acting performances that the overall story simply cannot keep up to. Even then, it feels like Namkoong specifically is trying to cover as much ground as possible - specifically that in the early going, he is portrayed as a husband that is more focused on work then trying even a little to patch up a quickly crumbling marriage.I will admit that there are some story beats I like - the idea that the main bad guy's wife is indeed in on the plot, and the overall ending being presented as a happy ending of sorts - and certainly, the first four episodes do a great job of doing the things a thriller needs to do to keep audiences interested, but once the wheels fall out, hooo boy do things start getting frustrating.
Apropos of nothing, but can we just appreciate the lead detective's mane of hair? That's the clearest example of hockey hair I've seen in a long while, and from a Korean drama no less.
