This story has my whole heart. Proud to be a Khunnoo.

**Ticket to Heaven** wasn't just a series. It was an experience that will stay with me for a very long time.

I went into it expecting a dark, emotional story, but I never imagined it would make me feel *everything*. It made me laugh, cry, smile, panic, hope, and fall in love right alongside the characters. Every episode left me emotionally overwhelmed, somehow breaking my heart while healing it at the same time.

From the very first episode, I was completely hooked. **Gemini was phenomenal as Barth.** He disappeared into the role so effortlessly that, after a while, I stopped seeing Gemini altogether. All I saw was Barth. Every smile, every joke, every tear, every quiet moment of vulnerability felt incredibly real. His eyes alone told entire stories. Barth wasn't just a character to me. He felt like a real person, and all I wanted was for him to finally find the happiness he deserved.

**Fourth was equally incredible as Tanrak.** He captured every layer of Tanrak's internal struggle with so much honesty and depth. You could feel the weight of his faith, his fear, his guilt, and the love he was desperately trying to suppress. There were moments when I felt like I couldn't breathe because Fourth made every emotion feel so real. His performance never asked for sympathy. It simply invited us to understand him.

What amazed me most was how naturally their relationship developed. Every glance, every smile, every touch carried meaning. The chemistry between Gemini and Fourth was extraordinary because it never relied on grand gestures. It lived in the silence, the hesitation, the longing.

Their kiss is one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever watched because it never felt like two people making a decision. It felt like two hearts that had spent weeks trying not to love each other finally reaching the point where they simply couldn't hold back anymore. It wasn't about desire alone. It was about longing, trust, comfort, and finally allowing themselves to feel what had been there all along.

One line that will stay with me forever is:

*"I'm not God's favorite son."*

That sentence shattered me.

It captured the pain of believing you're somehow less worthy of love simply because of who you are. But what makes **Ticket to Heaven** so special is that it never turns faith into the villain. Instead, it tells a much more compassionate story. Tanrak eventually realizes that loving Barth doesn't mean turning away from God. He never truly had to choose between his faith and the person he loved.

That message meant everything to me.

Love isn't something that separates us from God. Sometimes, love is what brings us closer.

Another thing I admired was how human every character felt. Nobody was perfect. Tanrak made painful choices because he was scared. Barth struggled to trust because life had taught him that the people he loved would eventually leave. Their flaws made them feel real, and that's why every victory and every heartbreak hit so deeply.

Watching Barth lose the people he loved again and again was devastating. More than anything, he simply wanted to be loved and accepted for who he was. That's why the scene with his mother completely broke me. Hearing her tell him that she would always choose him, that he was the one she loved most... I don't think I've cried that hard in a long time. After spending so much of his life wondering if anyone would choose him, he finally heard the words he'd needed all along.

That scene will stay with me forever.

What made this story even more powerful is that it reflects reality. There are still people who are rejected, judged, or made to feel ashamed simply because of who they love. **Ticket to Heaven** reminds us that love is never something shameful. Love is gentle. Love is healing. Love is one of the most beautiful gifts we can experience, and everyone deserves the freedom to love without fear.

I also have to mention the music. *Heavenly* isn't just a beautiful OST. It's the soul of this series. Every time it played, it made every scene feel even more emotional. Looking back now, it feels like the soundtrack to Barth and Tanrak's little piece of heaven, the one place where they could simply exist together without fear or judgment.

And then came the finale.

I cried from the very first scene until the very last.

I'm so grateful this story gave us hope. From the very beginning, I believed Barth deserved a happy ending, and watching him finally receive the love, acceptance, and happiness he'd spent his whole life searching for healed something inside me too.

Tanrak's realization that he never truly had to choose between Barth and God was the perfect conclusion to his journey. It was beautiful, hopeful, and deeply meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who created this incredible story.

And thank you, Gemini and Fourth, for bringing Barth and Tanrak to life with so much honesty, vulnerability, and heart. You didn't just play these characters. You became them. Every smile, every tear, every moment of silence felt genuine, and that's why this story touched so many hearts.

**Ticket to Heaven** isn't just one of my favorite BLs. It's one of my favorite series of all time.

I'm so proud to be a Khunnoo, and I know this story will stay in my heart forever. 🤍

Heaven Belongs to Those Who Love, Too

Ticket to Heaven is one of the most impactful series I've ever watched, and its importance is honestly beyond words. It's also one of the most beautiful productions I've ever seen, and to me, it deserves to be recognized as a true masterpiece of the BL genre.

Whenever a story brings together sexuality and religion, you naturally expect it to be filled with pain, prejudice, and tragedy. But Tanrak and Barth's journey is so much more than that. It's a story about love, self-discovery, acceptance, and above all, hope, the hope of being able to be yourself, love freely, and find happiness on your own terms instead of staying trapped by the chains that were once placed on you.

What makes Ticket to Heaven so beautiful and poetic is the gentleness with which it tells such a sensitive story. The series reminds us that things can be different. Not every story about religion and sexuality has to end in suffering, rejection, or tragedy. There's room for acceptance, freedom, and a happy future.

Instead of focusing its conflicts on the world around the characters, the writing puts all its attention on Tanrak and Barth's internal struggles. That choice makes perfect sense and reinforces the idea that, more often than not, our biggest enemy is our own mind. The way their relationship develops is simply beautiful, built through glances, small gestures, and subtle touches. They're tiny moments, but they carry so much weight thanks to the incredible harmony between the directing, writing, and performances.

I've been following Gemini and Fourth since My School President back in 2022, and it's been amazing to watch them grow as actors. They're both incredibly talented and brought Tanrak and Barth to life in such a genuine way that I honestly can't picture anyone else playing these roles. Their performances are quiet and restrained, yet overflowing with emotion. Even when they barely say a word, they make you feel everything.

P'Aof once again proves why he's one of Thailand's best directors. His storytelling is exceptional. Every frame, every prop, and every little detail serves a purpose. Nothing is there just to look pretty, everything contributes to the story and the characters' emotional journey.

The cinematography is stunning, the soundtrack is delicate and deeply moving, and you can genuinely feel the amount of care that went into every part of the production. It's obvious that Ticket to Heaven was made with love, sensitivity, and heart, and that shines through from the very first episode to the last.

I know this series is going to stay with me for a very, very long time. Ticket to Heaven finds beauty where so many stories choose to find pain, proving that gentleness can be revolutionary too.

In the end, it reminds us that heaven belongs to those who love, too.

Heartbreaking and Heartwarming

WOW! This show was a MASTERPIECE. I already had a feeling it was going to be good between the cast and the director, but this is one of the most moving BLs I have ever seen. I felt like every episode made me full the full range of emotions, and they managed to pack it all into an extremely short show. Not to mention, the artistry in the directing was BEAUTIFUL! The way the shots would linger, the tension in the shadows, and the love in the lighting....all of it was genius. The religious imagery was beautiful, and the small details of religion brought into different scenes really made this show feel complete. It's hard to bring religion into a queer show, especially to do it in a way that doesn't feel like it's ridiculing the religion or pitting religion and queerness against each other, but this show manages to do just that.

Tanrak (Fourth) has been raised in the Catholic church, and ever since his parents died, he has been on the path to becoming a priest himself. When Barth (Gemini) transfers to the boarding school, Tanrak is tasked with looking after him; he didn't expect Barth to be a troublemaker who doesn't see the purpose in believing in God. While Tanrak tries to help Barth follow the straight and narrow path, Barth tries to get Tanrak to see things from a new perspective. As feelings start to develop between them, Tanrak is torn between his love of God and his love of Barth, believing them to be mutually exclusive.

The main conflict in this show not being between Barth/Tanrak and the church itself, but being between Tanrak and himself was truly incredible. I feel like oftentimes we see religious parents citing religion for the reason to not accept their queer children, which still exists in this show of course, but I really enjoyed this internal struggling the most. You could really sympathize with both Tanrak and Barth and their reasons for believing or not believing in the things they do. These internal conflicts only grow stronger as we learn more about the characters' pasts, and I am super impressed with the amount of character development we see in such a short series. I of course wanted this show to be longer, but not because it felt unfinished or underdeveloped - I just loved these characters and thought the show was beautiful. And I have to say - Fourth's acting was CAPTIVATING! So much of this story is not told through words but through the emotions portrayed by Tanrak. The struggles he goes through are not things that he talks about, but rather things that show up in his actions and in his eyes. I cannot believe how much storytelling was done simply by a camera pointed at Fourth as he stares into it and WOW it was incredible to watch. Even as someone who is not religious, I found the messaging of this story to be done very thoughtfully, and it definitely has something that can resonate with most people. Overall, this show is one of the best things GMM has put out in a long time, and I think it's worth a watch from everyone.

awesome show

don't watch it expecting some intense high action film. it's a really good show. it focuses on how two friends navigate through their shitty life after getting scammed. I've seen reviews saying it was rushed. I mean, it's a movie not a series. many things I left undeveloped for the viewers to interprete on their own. it's worth the watch. the chemistry the two leads have is amazing and I want to see them in more movies together.
the aesthetic of the film is perfect, a neo noir film that takes place mostly in the night.

A Masterpiece

Although I watched this years ago, it's still one of my all-time favorite k dramas. The horror and mystery were absolutely chef's kiss. Who would've thought that a former victim of possession, a detective, and a priest would make such an incredible team while solving a series of unexplainable murders?

This drama was the reason I fell in love with the horror-mystery genre. The suspense kept me hooked from beginning to end, and I found myself completely invested in every case. I also have nothing but praise for the cast, everyone delivered convincing performances that made the story even more immersive.

Honestly, I can't think of anything bad to say about this drama because it became the turning point that got me binge-watching more series in the same genre. It set the bar so high for me, and I only hope we'll get more K dramas like this in the future.

I LIKED IT

saw some negative reviews and at first dropped the idea of watching. but now i am happy that i didn't do so. If u love, JuMark and OhmPoon, 100% u can watch it. their chemistry and acting is just wowww. i hated their aunt and grandpa at the beginning but they proved wrong. most of the stories have flaws. it also has. but stress free. it has romance, comedy , emotion and you can feel all of them at your heart. i thought last 2 eps were rushed but that's fine. all can give a chance.

Having love hate relationship with this series

I was so excited to see GMMTV finally do an original fantasy series, but my expectations just kept going down. The plot feels rushed and doesn't explain the world or its premise clearly enough, so it was hard for me to get invested.

I've never watched SkyNani's work before, and when people said they're a bromance cp, I was like, "Cool, maybe they won't do fan service." Oh boy, I was so wrong 😂 They do all the shits BL cps do except kiss or rail each other. I do think they have insane chemistry, but some of those scenes felt so questionable because it was like they were forcing viewers to ship them right from the start instead of letting it happen naturally.

The demons are also funny af because they look like mascots 😭 I couldn't help but lose immersion every time they showed up. It's such a pity they didn't have a bigger budget to make the fantasy setting more believable. And I HATE the product placement in completely unnecessary scenes. Singha was literally playing the drums in this intense moment, then suddenly she's drinking a freaking LACTASOY?? Like hello??

Acting wise, I really have to salute all the actors who don't speak Chinese but still managed to memorize all those lines, especially Sky and Krist. That must've taken so much effort. And Krist though... holy shit. His acting was spectacular. He completely embodied Li Pou, and you can tell this role really challenged him as an actor. I love seeing talent like him shine. He deserves an award for this role and I'm not even exaggerating.

The OST is SO GOOD, and the opening sequence is beautiful. If this series had a bigger budget and a tighter script, it could've easily been one of GMMTV's best action fantasy series. Such a pity.

a great ending to an otherwise medicore story

given the title, you know my thoughts about the original series. at the end of Business as Usual I was left thinking, "these two really ought to just break up." I could foresee no future that resulted in a happy ending for our two MCs. but after watching this special, I've changed my tune. maybe these two can actually make it work. they've finally learned to communicate with each other and it was a sweet ending.
so yeah. to summarize, if you're going to give the series a try, watching the special is a must.

It may not be for everyone but it was definitely for me!

I started watching this for Byeon Woo-seok even though he wasn’t the male lead. I’m so glad that I did. I fell in love with the characters and especially their development. I’ve seen reviews that this show is a tired ripoff of every Joseon era power grab and on some level it’s true. However, I think the way the creators laid out this story was unique and the characters are what made it so special. It’s ok if others didn’t like it but I would still recommend everyone giving it a try. I’ll probably add the main cast to my list of actors to watch. And I would watch this again in a year or two.

The MOST important show to come out of this year so far.

I think a lot of fans don't understand why Ticket To Heaven having a happy ending is so important.

What this show tells us, is that we do not need to sacrifice between religion and love. They are allowed to exist together. That it's okay to be queer, god still loves you.

This show is for the queer people that have lived with religious guilt their whole lives and felt like, or have been told, they have sinned, and would not be accepted for being who they are. That they would go to hell.

The LGBTQ+ has had enough sad endings. We deserve happiness, we deserve to accept ourselves. This trope of religious guilt, in most stories you will see, always have sad endings. Why don't we deserve a happy one?

I can't begin to explain how healing TTH was for me. I've grown up with a lot of resentment for religion, and watching TTH showed me religion and queer love can exist together. That we are allowed to love and be loved, and GROW OLD TOGETHER.

Our community needed this. Thank you, P'Aouf.

A Hopeful Story of Queerness, Faith, and Forever

Regardless of my feelings about organized religion, I'm glad this story chose a more hopeful direction. I'm happy that representation of queer suffering is no longer limited to just that, but can now evolve into queer pride and joy. Maybe this story can comfort someone who's struggling.

Tanrak was living only to die, a life full of faith, yet devoid of love. Barth became the key to reconciling his queerness with his faith. Through him, Tanrak discovered a vibrant, diverse world that was still full of faith, and in the end, he realized there had never been any need to choose.

Barth was such a loving person throughout the story. Despite everything life had put him through, he was the one who had the most love to give. I also loved how unapologetically he remained his gay self.

This was a story of a married gay couple of faith who got their forever, and I'm glad a story like this exists.

This show was my ticket to heaven, or this show was my heaven.

I'm very bad at writing reviews that seem helpful to others but i want to do it as a contribution to bringing this masterpiece out to more and more people. This might not be your neatly organised typical review that could help you decide if its worth a watch, its more of a personal experience and response but I could 1000% guarantee you that this is the most worth piece of artwork that you could find. This easily tops everything I've ever watched and everything that has ever been released. I stand by my words and no one can convince me otherwise.

The story at first glance is nothing extraordinary, but once you get yourself intrigued by it, you will realise the depth and layers it holds. The beauty of this show is how neatly yet inter tied all of its layers are, you will find yourself so immersed in it as you watch each episode and even after you finish watching it, it never leaves you. You will keep thinking about it and it will remain in the nooks of your heart for a long time. That's a kind of magic, beautiful yet painful.

What i really want to talk about here is the acting. I think calling it acting is an understatement? gemini and fourth lived their roles in such beautifully stinging way that you just don't realise all of this is "acting". the first time i saw them on screen was in My school president, I did not even get to finish watching it but the progress they've made from then to now is just breathtakingly impressive. The depth in their eyes, the emotions flashing across their faces, the tension evident in their body language, all of this minute yet highly impactful nuances is called pure acting skills. I would like to bow down on my knees infront of Fourth to praise him for his acting. I cannot find words to explain it.

The direction, The editing, the cinematography, the attention to details, the music and background scores, from A to Z this series was crafted to perfection by the most amazing cast and crew. sincere appreciation to all of them.

overall, if i had to defend something with my entire life, this could easily be one of the things i would do it for with no second thoughts whatsoever. I hope this was atleast a tad bit helpful. Please do watch it trust me.

such a beautiful way to ruin people; and i never even complained it

This is my first time writing a review and english is not my first language so I'm sorry if this turns into a mess.

First of all I really need to talk about P'Aof. As one of his biggest fans I already knew this series was going to be the end of me. I expected everything yet somehow he still shattered every expectation I had and left my soul in the prettiest kind of ruin. I owe him more than I could ever put into words for creating something like this and I am not exaggerating even a little.

As for the series itself... I am genuinely speechless. From episode 1 to 6 there wasn't a single moment when my mind wandered or when my heartbeat found its rhythm again. In most series we patiently wait for the main leads to have their moments a hand brushing against another, fingers intertwined, a simple confession but here Istg I didn't even want them to share a glance. It may sound cruel and some of you might even think I am rude but this is from my perspective. I am not even catholic yet the weight of every unspoken feeling felt sacred. Every time their eyes met I held my breath as if I had sinned myself. Their silence was louder than any confession could ever be.

In one way this was painfully difficult to watch. In another it was the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed. Not one of the most beautiful series this is the most beautiful series I have ever watched.

The rewatch value of this series is incredibly high yet I don't think I am strong enough to go through it again even though I already know how it ends. Some stories don't lose their power once you know the ending. They simply find new ways to break you.

I also deeply loved the relationship between Tan and father. At first I thought father would become the villain. but by the end I realized he understood Tan better than anyone else ever could. After all who was he to blame him when he already knew that the person suffering the most was Tan himself. Tan was always his favourite son all along.

And I love how Tan always clung to his rosemary cross even while questioning himself, even while wondering whether the voice he heard was still as loud as it was. It felt like watching someone desperately hold onto faith while standing at the edge of losing it.

I could talk about this series for hours, for days even. Every tiny detail, every symbol, every silence invites a different interpretation. The pain, the beauty, the longing, the misery... everything exists so perfectly together that none of it can survive without the other.

I always fell so much harder into Gemfot after finishing their series but this time I fell a little bit harder into P'Aof. Not being dramatic but I am truly so grateful. He definitely deserves that sunshine.

As it says in the Bible "And now these three remain faith, hope and love but the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13)

May every Tanrak one day find their very own Barth because hate is the sin not love.

Intruiging!

This was good! Unfortunatly it's clearly an unfinished story and i read there will be a sequel, i can't wait! This isn't what i am used of Sukfilm and it was refreshing. It's a great story, a bit dark.
As used from Sukfilm the visuals and music are great!

The acting was great! There is no romantic chemistry yet, so i can't say anything about that.
