Supporting Cast Steals the Spotlight
This is a solid GMMTV production with a really polished look, though the editing felt way too fast-paced for me—I really wished some moments could have lingered longer. While Sea and Keen are sweet, I’m still waiting for a stronger spark to develop between them. What really kept me watching were Java and Indy; their chemistry is great, especially those quiet stares and the genuine energy they have. They definitely bring the heart to this story, but even with them, the pacing issues kept it from being a top-tier favorite.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

A good but dated drama
Things I liked1 The premise. It was fun and although some things were offensive I still think it wasn't that bad.
2 The ML. The actor did a good job conveying all these confusing feelings. That said, I never thought of finding other dramas as with him.
3 The FL. Same thing as with the ML. She was good, but I didn't care enough to find other works of her. That is usually a good indicator for me to how much I liked an actor. When I fall in love with someone I will put on my list and check everything they were in.
Things I hated
1 The toxic second couple. I cringed and hated every moment they appeared. I hate toxic relationships and these first generation Kdramas have so many of them. Luckily it has changed a bit.

Love Beyond the Grave is Truly the Best Fantasy Romance Drama of 2026
This is the absolute best! In the first quarter of the year, among all costume dramas, I rank this one No.1 in every aspect — screenplay, production, art direction, editing, pacing, soundtrack, and the performances from the entire cast. It’s truly premium quality, perfectly balanced, and flows so smoothly. Every single minute feels worthwhile; there isn’t a single unnecessary or boring moment. What stands out the most is the hidden “message” within the story — it’s layered with profound philosophy, life lessons, and deep insights. The dialogue is sharp, beautiful, and incredibly well-written. The portrayal of love is delicate, profound, and deeply moving. At the same time, the war and battle scenes are realistic, thrilling, brutal, and heartbreaking all at once.
I especially love how both the female and male characters are written with their own value and strength — no one is diminished or overly dependent. The chemistry between Dilraba and Chen Feiyu is out of this world — it makes you blush from the sweetness, yet the sadness hits extremely hard too. Wei Zheming also delivers the villain role with full power.
This is a one-of-a-kind xianxia series with a completely unique plot. The ending is cleverly done in both versions, leaving a strong impression. I’m truly amazed.

The plot twist was so unexpected
This movie My Blood & Bones in a Flowing Galaxy had the craziest plot twist ever. I thought this would be a cute story about one person getting bullied and another one (hero) rescuing her and falling in love, but wow, I did not see that. The movie definitely talks about the hero complex and how it sometimes can lead to so many issues, but also the psychology behind the person who wants to be a hero and maybe wants to be appreciated and recognized and loved. It's one of those movies that you think it's about something but is way more dark and different from what you expect it to be. So I would definitely tell you to go in blind; I think it would make you appreciate the movie, because the story takes you through everything, and you would end this movie with the realization this was crazy. It's definitely a great movie, dark and also more detailed than you think.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

I was surprised by this drama's ability to dive into so many controversial topics surrounding celebrity life in Korea. While many other dramas touch on similar themes, they often focus on just one or two subjects, typically revolving around sasaeng fans. This particular drama, however, tackled a vast number of issues, which is likely why it stirred up such controversy in Korea. I just know fans watched this and found it annoying how the drama pointed out their own toxic behavior. There are quite lot of things they talk about
-At its core, the drama examines the unrealistic expectations placed on idols, how society perceives them as perfect beings devoid of human emotions. The pressure to maintain an image of perfection is immense.
-It sheds light on the complex group dynamics within idol groups, where friendships aren’t always as harmonious as they appear.
-The drama illustrates how misunderstandings can escalate, especially when people jump to conclusions based on photographs without knowing the full story.
-The portrayal of sasaeng fans is particularly striking, highlighting those who invade idols' privacy, even breaking into their homes. When an idol reacts negatively to such violations, it’s often the idol’s reaction that becomes a topic of discussion, rather than the serious issue of trespassing itself.
-The drama also raises poignant themes about the loss of idol group members and how public opinion can swiftly turn against them, often calling for punishment without any understanding of the context or circumstances involved.
-Additionally, the drama critiques the music industry, showcasing the detrimental role of CEOs and management companies.
as well as the relentless paparazzi who manipulate stories for profit, distorting reality in the process.
-It explores the dichotomy of fan relationships, as some fans profess to care deeply for their idols, all while fearing association with the more extreme, obsessive fans.
-The complexities of dating as an idol are also explored, addressing the societal expectations about who idols can date and the inevitable pressure leading to forced breakups. The idea of clandestine relationships is prevalent, revealing how fame can even affect an idol’s family dynamics.
One poignant subplot involves a mother who exploits her son’s fame for personal gain, showcasing the darker side of celebrity life.
Although the drama covers an impressive range of topics, the one aspect I found less enjoyable was the romantic plotline where the idol falls for a fan. I believe a platonic love or friendship could have served the narrative better, but perhaps the creators wanted to illustrate the dynamics of dating in the public eye. I would say the acting was not always the best or the storyline sometimes felt a bit rushed; however, I think this is a brilliant drama as it covers so many aspects of being an idol/celebrity in Korea and it deserves so much praise. I think for anyone who is not familiar with the Asian entertainment business, this drama could highlight so many aspects. It's definitely a drama that you should watch.

Love and hate.
Gah, I JUST finished watching this drama and I am at a loss for words so bare with me.I love how the story starts very light hearted, playful, and fun. I really enjoyed Wang Ying Lu/Liao Ting Yan's character. I felt it played beautifully into the cruel and painful story that was of Arthur Chen/Sima Jiao. Both of them did an amazing job with their roles. Sima Jiao was the perfect cold and authoritative grand-master. Yet with Liao Ting Yan, he let all his walls down and really become an endearing character.
Oh man... The romantic scenes!!!!! I mean wow!!! I felt like such a shy school girl peeking who was caught peeking at a couple behind the building... I've watched a couple of C-Dramas and I have not come across this much romance in it. Usually FL & ML will just touch lips but oh man.. Sima Jiao and Liao Ting Yan really made me think they were a real couple IRL with their scenes.
So now for the story, I think they did a good job building Sima Jiaos background and showcasing why he is the way he is However, with Liao Tin Yan, there wasn't too much story about her. Sure, I get she reincarnated into this world and the ending is pretty predictable. I agree with another user that they should've given us another episode or at least an extra to really see how modern world was for them.
As I mentioned earlier, the story started out light and playful. Afterwards, you get into Sima Jiaos background and uncover all the cruel things that his enemies are plotting. The world started becoming dark with hints of lightness from Liao Ting Yan's antics. I gotta say though, after a while of the same thing happening (ML/FL gets badly hurt, their live is saved by the other, rinse and repeat), the story started to drag and get a bit boring for me. I will admit, I did have to watch at 1.5x speed afterwards.
Now after finishing this drama, I am left sad and disappointed. Why? Sad, because of all the struggles FL & ML had to endure only for that disappointing and predictable ending. Oh well, now I have to find me a pick-me-up drama.

Better than I expected it to be
I really had no expectations for this drama, and it turned out to be pretty good. The origin story on how the app was made was probably my favourite part and the highlight of the drama. The whole cast did amazing, but I want to applaud the actresses who played Kwon Siwon & Do Hyeryung, they did a phenomenal job and have a bright future. I actually started this drama mainly because of Kang Mina (Nari), so I was a bit disappointed with how her storyline wrapped up. It didn’t feel fully explained or resolved, which sucks because her character had a lot of emotional weight.
Another thing I couldn’t fully get behind was the love triangle. Like, I understand why Geonwoo likes Seah that one felt natural and built up, but Hajoon being in love with her? That kinda came out of left field. They didn’t really explore his feelings enough for it to feel believable, so it just ended up raising more questions than adding depth.
This drama would've benefited heavily if it had more episodes though. Like imagine a more in-depth story, could've been a top 5 drama for me this year but that's not the case. That said, despite all my confusion and unanswered questions, I still recommend this, especially if you like horror. The acting was solid, the pacing made it super bingeable, and it definitely kept me hooked. And that post credits scene?? Yeah, they’re clearly setting something up, so I really hope we get a season 2 to fill in all these gaps.

Be Careful What You Wish For!
this was an interesting watch!I feel like the drama had a killer concept (pun intended 🤣) and had the potential to be amazing, but it couldn’t really live up to its potential. it started off really strong, but somehow fell flat towards the middle/end.
I liked the underlying message of the drama, “your wishes have consequences, no matter how stupid or insignificant they may seem”. the mix of shamanism with modern technology was a great idea.
the acting was incredible. unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the characters. some of the characters were so one dimensional that you couldn’t care less if they died.
there were some things i found stupid or didnt like, but I didn’t find the drama as bad as some of these reviews made it out to be. overall, I think it was an interesting drama to binge on a Saturday night. I will probably be tuning in if they make a second season!

Beautiful
The love they give is so beautiful. I found it funny and cute. I laughed and cried. Tee and Por did a great job. Hoping to see more of them together. I loved all episodes. The friends on both sides were wonderful. When it comes to the parents of Qin they should have done better for him when it came to the nanny abusing him. Glad to see him confront them on his feeling. We happy a ending so beautiful. ❤️ 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
