Only Friends Season 2 Is Hotter, Wilder, and Completely Addictive
After 2.5 years of waiting, Only Friends Season 2 kicks off with a bang. The first few episodes are electric, easily a 9 out of 10. Seeing so many talented GMMTV actors in one series still feels unreal.Season 2 is sexier, bolder, and messier than ever. The chemistry is stronger, the emotional chaos hits harder, and the storytelling feels confident and exciting. I love seeing actors break away from their previous roles. Earth and Mix, known from A Tale of Thousand Stars, step into completely different characters, and it’s a joy to watch. Joss and Gawin also shine, proving their versatility in this lively university setting.
The standout couple has to be Boom and Aou. Their bathroom one-night stand was steamy, bold, and utterly believable. The tension is off the charts, and I’m hooked on watching their dynamic unfold. Plus, I cannot wait for Neo to appear because he is bound to stir up even more chaos.
However, the series hits a slump in the second half. The story becomes repetitive and drags across 12 weeks. I still enjoyed parts of it, but the excitement faded, dropping my final score to an 8.
Overall, Only Friends Season 2 starts strong, sizzles with bold chemistry, but loses momentum toward the end. It is still worth watching, just brace yourself for the slower stretch.

easily forgettable
I went into Cinderella Again thinking it would be an emotional, nostalgic time-travel romance. The premise sounded interesting ;a woman getting the chance to go back and relive her youth, possibly correcting regrets and rediscovering love. That kind of storyline has so much potential for depth, reflection, and heartbreak. But unfortunately, Cinderella Again didn’t work for me.
The biggest issue was the lack of emotional depth. Everything felt surface-level, the story, and the characters' motivations I kept waiting for something to truly move me, but it never did.
Then there’s the time-travel dynamic. Yes, physically she returns to her younger self, but mentally she is still 29 years old. Watching her develop romantic feelings for a 17-year-old felt uncomfortable to me. I couldn’t fully immerse myself in the romance because that awareness never disappears. Instead of feeling sweet or nostalgic, it felt strange.
The chemistry between the leads also wasn’t convincing. I didn’t feel that spark, that emotional tension or longing that makes you root for two people. It felt more like two actors following a script rather than two souls reconnecting across time.
As for the male lead, I’ve seen him in several BL dramas and other straight romances, and I know he can deliver strong performances. That’s why I was surprised that here his acting felt somewhat stiff and lacking flow. Maybe it was the direction, maybe the script, maybe the pairing, but something just didn’t click.
Of course, this is just my experience. I can see how some viewers might enjoy the nostalgia or the fantasy aspect. But for me, I simply couldn’t find it.

I wish they had added a little more time at the ending.
The story is younger step-brother is in love with older step-brother, who does not reciprocate. He loves him as a brother only and is fiercely protective of him and basically raising him since the parents are nowhere to be found in the show. The only thing that can happen, did. NOT suicide!! I just wish the ending took a little more care of the viewers and let us get closure. I felt I was left hanging even though I knew what the outcome was.Was this review helpful to you?
don't stand in the middle of the road...
like seriously, this did my head in - them constantly having conversations or walking straight into the road, OMG.... but as watched the Thai version, i get that this a plot device meeh if u ask me. personally i always say if u gonna adapt something, do it better or don't do it at all (& this way better then the adaption for Love Sea - which i couldn't finish, but still - wasn't great).1st off i was kinda shocked that the main pair was the same one from Love in the Air, didn't recognize Hamaya Takuto & given the shaky chemistry between the mains, was sure this was their 1st BL together. their kisses felt unsynchronized & cause of that all their NC scenes were uncomfortable to watch. there was more chemistry between the 2nd couple (& their intimacy amounted too a touching of the lips, that tells u how bad the mains NC chemistry was).
also the hot & cold act that Fuu displayed gave me whiplash - i get that it's cause he believed Sara about the parallel universe lie & was confused/guilt. still the back & forth was annoying to me as a viewer & feel like the only reason Sara could stomach a lot of Fuu's idiosyncrasies, was cause of his over bearing mother.
the plot is more psychological then sci-fi, time travel-ish & given Sara's upbringing i aint shocked he snapped. what i never got was the father just abandoning him with a psychopath & not looking backwards or trying to find a solution in all the yrs his son was growing up under the thumb of that crazy tyrant. yeah here she kinda got her comeuppance - which we didn't get in the Thai version. still it's a drop in the ocean - when u think about everything she did.
this was cute & i enjoyed this more cause of the side couple & side character's then the mains - maybe cause they didn't bring anything new to the table & i already saw the OG version which IMO wasn't that great to begin with - so the remake even if the acting was good, didn't interest me or even hold my attention - it was just ok. like i mentioned loved the side couple & the MVP for me in this was Taiga, he was adorable, sweet & funny. now i would've loved more of him.
the chicks even if good friends to Fuu, didn't like that one chick always hitting Yuta on the head - why this funny?? or acceptable idk - anyway this a one off & a never again.
J-Bl's can be so good, so why not change the adaptation to make it better???? oh well - this a one off.

Simply don't watch it
After watching LITA, I was interested in FortPeat so searched for the series. Though I read reviews before watching the series but still wasted my time watching it. The series was quite boring tbh, I struggled to finish it but my love for fortpeat keep me going 😂😂. Anyway pls believe all of those bad reviews like one dimensional character, boring storyline, out of no where problem solver mom, that useless dad, more useless cousin, over reacting secretary and boring gl plot. Only interesting thing is fort with his handsome face and mascular body🤩.Was this review helpful to you?
A story of betrayals and heartbreak--and a love that reigns above it all
The best of the best cdrama has to offer and I mean that to its fullest extent.Story: So well written, so tightly packed with action and emotion, with comedy and tragedy, with silly moments and serious scenes. I was deep in it, stressed, overjoyed, annoyed, scared, excited.
Acting: So good, so so good. Especially Chen Zhe Yuan, he got to express a range of emotions and he excelled in them all. Li Qin, on the other hand, had little to play with most of the time but she did good enough.
Music: I generally don't care about music but this drama had excellent music score with great timings.
Characters: So well written. Everyone was nuanced, everyone had a chance to grow, to choose between being good or evil, doing the easy thing or the right thing. The relationships were complex all around, and not just for the sake of it. They were well written troubles and dilemmas.
Ending: Genuinely so good. It is slightly towards HFN but we know the couples are safe and secure and will stay together forever.
In short, please do watch it and have the best time of your life <3

Not recommended if you hate slow pace
I started watching it after I watched a few shorts on it, also the FL and ML are good actors so I decided to give it a go, honestly it drags on a lot in the beginning, its painful to watch the FL's actions, also to the story is a bit muddled, so many things which honestly do not make sense, main couple and third couple are bearable and enjoyable at parts asw but the 2nd couple ie FL bestfriend, I just skipped their parts, and all the dumb advice that she give out, seriously, so frustrating to watch. There are a few interesting scene but yeah that's about it . You need a ton of patience to actually make through this drama. I felt that ending was rushed but yeah overall a mid one time watch story. Was this review helpful to you?
Creepy, Clever, and Satisfying
Gave me the creeps at first, like the scary stories you hear as a kid. Then it slowly pulled me in with its layered plot and smart twists. I was a bit confused by the different characters at the beginning, but as the story unfolded, everything gradually made sense and the pieces came together in a satisfying way. It explores grief and human connection in a way that lingers long after the lights go out. Mysterious, eerie, and surprisingly satisfying. Was this review helpful to you?

The Love triangle irritates
At first I think this drama is about two in law's who were initially not wanted to see eachother bring by fate , which way they survive in the real world along with the baby , from society. How to find love and happiness in the difficult situation. But as the story proceeds sml is introduced, the love triangle is taken more time, especially sml and fl have more time rather than ml and fl .
Also the ml was always alone and always the one who hurt .whom the ml trusts he / she breaks there heart . fl never keeps her promise.
I know few people's doesn't agree my review that sml is a bit selfish, whether he is a green forest or not.

I wish there was more ?
This had me beating the ghost in my room constantly 😩 I only wish there were more episodes. I wanna see more and I wanted to see the side story evolve more, if you know what I mean 😉😩😩😩because they were cute as hell!! I loved it 100%. Cuteness aggression off the scale. The actors were amazing and made me fall in love with their love. It made me yearn for more. the soundtrack was on point too. The intimacy in their eyes floored me. I think there should be a season 2 continuation of the friends story and how they tell the world they love each other. Was this review helpful to you?

AMAZING CHEMISTRY
This couple has one of the best chemistry’s i have ever seen, it’s crazy that this was the first drama Surfjava filmed together. I was so invested in the plot too, and even though It’s just 4 episodes i love them so much😭😭 They are amazing actors, i really think they have the potential to be one of the biggest couples in the thai bl industry. Java acts out sad scenes sooo well, he’s such a good actor!!The storyline is also so creative and interesting and i think the enemies to lover trope it really well done, i’ve never seen one as good at this.
Also, the cinematography is sooo pretty and it has a comfortable summer vibe overall.
side note, Surjava are also crazy pretty, makes it really enjoyable to watch ayy😋i liked their fits too.

horrible
I thought it would at least be something fun to watch, but it wasn't even that. I understand it's a more generic drama without much of a plot, but it should at least be entertaining. Poon's character doesn't act his age, and I've seen in several productions where they portray characters in their twenties acting in a completely childish way. He seems like a pre-adolescent.He's impulsive, stubborn, and doesn't listen to others. He asked a guy to marry him on the same day and even offered him moneyWas this review helpful to you?
A Surprisingly Warm Love Story I Didn’t Expect to Love
I went into *Marry Me!* with very low expectations. The story sounded, honestly, a little ridiculous on paper. The idea that a complete stranger would show up, marry you, and simply decide to take care of you as social experiment? In real life, that would be alarming. Wild. Probably even uncomfortable. But because it’s adapted from a manga, I told myself to suspend disbelief. In that world, unusual premises are part of the charm. What I didn’t expect was how warm and comforting it would feel. Instead of turning the concept into something creepy or awkward, the drama treats it with softness. The relationship doesn’t feel forced or strange, it unfolds gently. And I think the reason it works so well is entirely because of the actors. They didn’t play it in a weird or exaggerated way. They didn’t make it feel unsettling, instead they brought sincerity to it. Their performances grounded the story, making something that could have felt absurd turn into something surprisingly touching.
There’s a quiet sweetness to the way they interact; small gestures, hesitant smiles, growing trust. It feels natural, not dramatic for the sake of drama. And that’s what makes it work.
I genuinely didn’t think I would enjoy it this much. But by the end, I found myself smiling at the screen, appreciating how something so simple and unusual turned into such a comforting little love story. Sometimes the most unexpected dramas end up being the ones that stay with you the longest.

The drama is about ML journey to get FL
I watched this version on January 2026 and it was far better than Ma Xin Yu version. The revenge plot is toned down and resolved quickly, which is a matter of personal preference. I quite had scrutiny against Shao Wei acting since he was quite too stiff and lack of emotions but he slowly learns. For Sun Lu Lu, her script was quite interesting but her drama can be hit and miss for me since she tends to show one persona in different characters but her strength is she could build up the chemistry. The plot is a very conventional canary taking revenge + his love for her. What's good is ML saw early on FL was extremely proud and had high self-esteem, and couldn't possibly be a canary; he was thoughtful and intelligent. FL consistently focused on her career, and taking revenge as a canary was just a side job after work
This version resolves the revenge quickly, focusing on the ML's self-persuasion and his attempts in the later episodes to support the FL in combating her long-term repression and psychological issues, which are actually difficult to resolve immediately. Compare to other version, ML's parents were just ordinary parents with normal concerns and interventions, not excessive, and their values and emotions were normal. For the villains, yeah they deserved the ending. No overmelodramatic supporting characters.
I prefer the honesty from the actor while showing their abs even it was not excessive good like Shao Wei previous drama. The chemistry between Sun Lu Lu and Shao Wei were so natural, it was very comfortable when i saw them kissing each other. The two characters in the drama each have their own thoughts or feelings, but they can't help but feel physically attracted to each other. The two actors' images and performances are already convincing, and coupled with a reasonable and necessary plot, it is indeed a conventional yet noteworthy short drama that serves as a satisfactory product for satisfying emotional needs and desires.
Recommended to watch.
