''Inauthentic'' chemistry and awkward cinematic execution
- The plot: I think the cinematography throughout the whole series still captures the essence of Japanese bls (which I have invariably adored) such as the rustic and nostalgic feelings during the high-school flashbacks and the subtle interaction. HOWEVER, everything else seems to be quite lengthy and unnatural, especially the storyline between the two main protagonists. Their ''love journey'' revolves around their reticence with each other, and this sentiment prolongs throughout the whole series without any times for genuine connection and understanding (goes on to 9 episodes). Nakano, especially, always harbor an unnecessary sense of insecurity and malaise that really troubles and hinders Yokoi to actually express why they could soldier on stepping into the next stage (which is being lovers). I know this series is a slow-burn one and the characters, given their disposition and experience in the face of unfamiliar romantic feelings, need time to adjust themselves and openly intimate their own concealed thoughts. Still, it was still quite disheartening to see them realizing this mutual romance too late into the whole series, and the after-story seems to predicate on the audience to imagine it themselves. What the plot could improve on is to actually restructure and steer their attention to the subtle ''eye glances, subtle moments of love or signals of confession'' to clearly map out how each character feel for each other.- The chemistry between the two characters: The two main cast members seem to be inexperienced and sometimes emotionless in some of the moments in the series. Their interaction seems to be quite equivalent to the sentiment of ''reading off the script'' instead of ''genuine emotional and romantic intimacy''. I find their chemistry dialed down at the penultimate parts of the series, which are unfortunate because these episodes were quite the culminative romantic moments. Both need more training in both emotional execution in order to actually bring out the best of their characters

The struggle between lust and thought can be entertaining
This is an easy binge high speed train in to the minds of the lustfull and confised. To be fair Somewhere between a 7,5 and 8. The story is told compleatly from our slightly guiltrudden female lead who seems to have been wearing a mantle o shame for way to long. I would have loved to hear the male leads side of the story as I find myself feeling that there is a lot more to this story that could have been so much better... But then again part of this dramas charm is the invite in to the female leads mind... makes it a bit more real I guess.Male lead is mysterious playful, charming... However bothe leads completely lack verbal communication skills, while there is nothing wrong with their lips ability to moove they seem to need to be attached to some type of skin to actually move, and they do move a lot. But then again why speak when you can kiss and hold someone up against a wall?
A decent binge that will fulfil all your skinship needs...

In a class of its own!
A story that starts out strong and has a satisfying what-if ending with a romance that is in a class of its own.Kudos to the director for his special touches to make this romance truly special every step of the way. How they fell in love…Why they doubted their love… What happened when she discovered his true identity. Her reactions. His reactions. So so very well done and realistic unlike the majority of dramas using the same theme.
It was fun seeing how things developed with the gang of guys and the FL. Along with an unexpected little extra which I will not spoil it here. I’m glad some characters stayed true to themselves despite little red herrings being dropped to suggest they could be turning evil.
I especially enjoyed the final reveal behind what happened in the massacre of Jizhou. Very well told as well.
Truly worth watching…

why was his hair white?
why was he allowed to look after the grand princess after the fire?
how did she wear clothes while chained to him?

30 year old woman who acts like a 10 year old child
The korean dramas has dropped so much in their value, script, originality, cinematography etc... old dramas are better, mesmerizing. In the last 2 years maybe 10% of them where worthy to watch. Instead of growing, they became superficial.Cant take anymore the same script, the same story, no creativity ,with zero originality or good humor and mature people on their 30 or 35 years acting like kids, with zero emotional maturity ... is so boring, superficial, not attractive, disgusting.
Men in love with a woman who dresses like an old woman but acts like a child. I don't see chemistry, sex appeal, I don't see intelligence... nothing magnetic.
In the second date, i really enjoyed how the man treated her. She deserved that. I dont say you cant date more that one man at the begining but her behavior is absolutely disgusting.
What is happening?!?! How the actors in their 43, 41 ir 31 choose to act such childishly dumb characters. For me is lack of self-esteem.
Is a huge no recomandation this one.

I think it’s bad
idk why everybody loves it so much I think the story is bad the acting even worse and a lot of stuff doesn’t make sense. happy that y’all love it but I don’t see the potential. I saw a lot of dramas by now if Koreans, Chinese, Japan or else and a lot of Bl but this one is just bad. the tension doesn’t exist in my opinion. the drama is just over the top and it really look like a low budget Serie. and there are so many good low budget shows so that’s not even the problem but they’re didn’t do that wellEsta resenha foi útil para você?

Words cannot fully express how much I love this drama. It feels like a breath of fresh air in a world often filled with forced love and messy romantic entanglements. Instead, it tells a grounded and compelling story of growth. The drama follows Xia Xiaolan, a modern-day girl who wakes up in 1983 in the body of someone with the same name, but in a deeply toxic environment. Accused of immorality and constrained by the realities of her time, she chooses not to submit, but to fight for herself and build a better life. Her journey from a struggling village girl to a successful figure in real estate while uplifting those around her makes it especially touching and her mother’s transformation and newfound freedom is particularly heartwarming to watch. May everybody find their own Zhou Cheng; supportive, caring, and genuinely respectful. He doesn’t overshadow her growth but complements it, making their relationship feel healthy and refreshing. Their chemistry though 😍Love the story line and there was no boring episodes. This is definitely in my top 5 CDrama. Perfect ending 💖

Que protagonista incrível, nunca assisti um dorama com uma protagonista tão maravilhosa
A fotografia é linda , os personagens tem uma boa química entre si . A química do casal protagonista é maravilhosa. Os vilões são odiaveis. Os episódios fluem que as vezes nem parece que tem 40 min e sim 20. Trilha sonora muito bonita e fica na cabeca , emocionante. A prota é A MULHER, Ela é forte , independente, não fica esperando por ninguém, resolver a broncas dela e não deita pra ninguém! Tudo que ela construíu foi por mérito próprio. Amo a relação dela com os vizinhos e a " gague " que ela formou ( Amo um Family found). A parte política é complexo mas dá pra entender. O final foi emocionante, e coerente. Foi final feliz. Eu não curtia muito essa atriz nem esse ator , mas depois desse cdrama eles roubaram meu coração. excelente atriz , excelente ator . inclusive todos os atores foram excelentes em seus papéis, até as crianças atuaram muito bem . Algumas pessoas criticaram o final por não entender ou por querer um final clichê. O final foi feliz. Recomendo e concerteza vou rever outras vezes.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

It really was a great series. Of course, I wish it had been a bit longer, and I would’ve loved more screen time for Jun and ShawnOne of the standout aspects for me was Wu Zheng’s character. Instead of the typical “playboy equals red flag” trope, he was refreshingly different—open, gentle, and unafraid to express his feelings. It made his relationships feel more genuine and emotionally satisfying to watch.
The only part that got a bit frustrating was the commentary from the two teenagers about the relationship. It felt unnecessary, especially since they were essentially behaving in similar ways themselves. That irony wasn’t really addressed, which made their criticism come off as a bit hypocritical.
Overall, though, it was a really enjoyable watch with strong character dynamics and a refreshing take on romance.

Non stare a guardare serve per andare oltre il nostro sentimento. La violenza bieca e brutale, distrugge l'animo umano, fino ad annientarlo. Qui una donna, è stata schiacciata dall'uomo che credeva di amare, e che gli ha reso la vita un inferno, inprigionandola nella sua stessa abitazione. Un cast eccezionale, una storia brutale, per raccontare quello che succede in moltissime famiglie nel mondo, dove l'apperenza felice, nasconde un male annidato tra le quattro mura domestiche. Jo Hui-su passa da ruoli molto semplici e leggeri, a complessi ritratti di donne perse, infelici, e distrutte dal proprio uomo. Jeon So-nee è la donna forte, e autonoma che però nasconde una ferita profonda, che ancora le fa male, e non la lascia in pace. Completano il quadro due grandi del cinema coreano, Jang Seung-jo nel doppio ruole (destreggiato a dovere) del marito violento, e possessivo, e del ladruncolo spietato di shangai. Infine vi è Lee Moo-saeng che qui interpreta un imprenditore alimentare, dal passato travagliato. A me questo drama è piaciuto tantissimo, ha trasmesso tanto, lasciandomi tanto. Non condivido alcune recensioni che bocciano il finale, secondo me inquadrato benissimo, con tutto il resto della trama.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

One of those series you really have to pay attention to, otherwise you can miss important plot developments. The writing is excellent, the acting by my favorite actress and her co-stars is perfect, and the concept is unique. My only disappointment has to be the music. It doesn't seem to fit the theme. Better Than the Thai Version
I wasn’t going to watch this, believing it would be just a poorer imitation of the Thai version, I had already watched, which had been less than stellar, but I’m glad I DID watch it!Although, I really love the BossNoeul ship, I found the Thai version lacking. So, once again, because I was in a lull between current series airings, I decided to give the Japanese version a chance. To my delight, it was like watching a completely different series, altogether . I, practically, binged this one, because I enjoyed it so much more.
I found the story so much more intriguing, it drew me in where the Thai version was merely meh. I can’t, precisely, point out the specifics of the differences between the two series, I only know that this one is the superior version. And I almost missed it.
The writing was excellent, the casting: perfect. So, if you might have passed on it thinking that this would just be a carbon copy—you’d be wrong. Watch it. You won’t be sorry.
