I was eagerly awaiting the 5th season of this show when I finished the 4th season. I fell in love with Daimon Michiko during the first season and I still do.

While the format of each episode is pretty much the same, it's also one of the good points about the series. It makes it easy to follow and you don't really have to think about whether you missed out on some major plot element.
During this season you see many of the faces you got to know in earlier seasons while they introduce a few new ones. It was refreshing to see a semi- teacher/student relationship, as it shows Daimon in a way acknowledge someone else for their skills.

Her catchphrase, "I never fail" might've gotten a bit old after 5 seasons, but it's also one of the lines you expect. When you hear it, you also know that things will be all right. If there's one thing I missed and I hope they do something about if they create a new season, its that she starts her own clinic/hospital. That would be interesting to see if you think back a couple of seasons.

A Love so Beautiful is such a pure and cute love story. This drama really got me invested, mainly because of the overall story and the actors. The plot sounds so simple and cliche, but once you watch it, it will feel like it's not. It was very easy for me to watch because the acting and story were both amazing.
I laughed.
I cried.
I clutched my heart so many times...
You won't regret watching this drama.

This drama could have been so much more...the synopsis and main idea were so intriguing! I feel like it was wasted. Would I recommend this? If you're bored and have nothing better to watch, sure, go ahead and be my guest. If you like modern romances with a fantasy twist, something along the lines of "You Who Came From The Stars" but a lesser version, then you'd like this.

I know, I know. My rating for this show is set at mediocre, even though I sorta enjoyed the drama. Why so low, you might ask? Here are my reasons:

1) The plot; holy shit were there plot holes everywhere. First off, the plot sorta dragged halfway through the show but really picked up momentum toward the end. Now and again, the story was so good, then it would take a weird ass u-turn or a sharp left and have oddly sweet moments, unnecessary flashbacks, or a "big" reveal that was pretty fucking obvious. So many questions with no practical answer. I mean, why weren't loose ends and certain things taken care of years ago so it can't be traced? And the reason for them living together just didn't make sense to me. He's suddenly fucking rich so why can't he just buy a damn house and live in it himself if he's so "used" to being alone? Whatever.

2) The silly acting and the voice dubbing; sometimes, the silliness was endearing and funny, reeling me into the show, and other times it threw me off and made me roll my eyes in annoyance. I mean, who the fuck laughs like that?

3) The characters and cast; the main actress had good facial reactions and I loved the main heroine in the beginning. She had some good, and sometimes hilarious, moments, but then annoyingly became a damsel in distress just so the emotionless, handsome, super hero main dude can show off his powers. Ugh. The Spock and The Loud One/Damsel-in-distress character tropes that are used way too often took over. Besides the cute dimples the main actor occasionally treated us to during the 'aww' moments, his character and background story wasn't really fascinating, either. Oh, and when I say show powers, I mean the camera tilting away and no real action is actually seen. You'd think a super hero with lots of strength, fighting skills, and speed could do a few cool stunts and show the audience some fighting sequence but nope. Good luck finding action in this film. The stories and character developments for the supporting actors and actresses were shit besides the antagonist. Cool character there; pretty real. YEAH RIGHT! If you're evil, be fucken evil. Or be crazy evil. The schemes the antagonist comes up with to entice the good guys was just child's play. My six year old little angel of a cousin could think of more evil methods and actions than the antagonist.

4) The ending; when I finally reached the ending, "finally" was the thought that flashed through my head. And then it ended in such a piece-of-shit sort of way. Like, WTH? It was so abrupt. I know the writers and directors did that to set the story up for the second season, which will be released some time in 2018 with totally different leads, but it still pissed me off that it ended like that. It could have been edited in a better way or concluded a little.

Anyway, regardless of the reasons I stated above, I guess I enjoyed it. It's one of those shows that doesn't necessarily require your full attention to watch and can be played in the background while finishing up other chores.

WAY UNDERWHELMING MUCH. Everyone hyped it up too much but it's a pretty shot by shot/line by line remake of the original, so it was much better when it deviated from it. However, I'm not a procedural (medical, crime, OR law) fan so I found myself skipping most of the cases. Everyone knows that the PERSONAL stuff is what we're here for. At a certain point, I was so tired of the cases that I thought about just dropping it but I had all the episodes ready so I was willing to go through with it until the end. Undeniably, it is a good drama with great acting. I don't fault them for that at all. Special shout out, of course, to Jeon Do Yeon who is magnificent and makes Alicia more compelling to me in this adaptation than the original. Then, of course, I have to laud praise on Yoo Ji Tae who is so charismatic it made it hard for me to root for anyone but him, which was a  HUGE surprise because I don't normally favor the "villains" and especially PETER FLORRICK. But he was perfect in it. His scenes with JDY were the highlight of every episode and while I KNOW that Will/Joong Won is the ~better guy~, it's hard to root for someone who is honestly just... bland. Just THERE. I just never bought the connection or the character (even tho I love Will???) and while I do really like Yoon Kye Sang, it just wasn't enough in this drama. Overall, probably better if you haven't seen the American show, but maybe worth it for the acting if you want to watch it.

Perfect score for a perfect roller-coaster ride drama: a poem inside a drama.
This drama are stories of people (and animal) who had taste of life. Those who have fallen in and out of love, people who are in a turmoil relationship, people who are scared of trying and cats who deliberately left alone when their master is away from home. At some point in time in our 20's, we will experienced these kind of pain, happiness, sadness, hope, agony, bereavement, and love. Then, we will be like these characters: getting frustrated, doing unnecessary mistakes, hurting ourselves and one another, hoping for the best to come, and lastly learning to fall in love amidst all those events happened. That's the beauty of life, you have time to redeem yourself and be well in return.

"Everything will be okay in the end, if it's not okay, it is not the end." - John Lennon

Best beginning and best ending in all dramas so far.
Sweet dates are fluffy. Kisses are great. Confessions are the best.

When talking about mini series this drama delivered well. I did not find it corny for a timeslip school themed drama, because some usually have weird and cliche plot lines, but this mini drama did not disappoint me a single bit. The plot  was very direct to the point, and I liked how it had a good ending and plot twist at the end! Very well written. So you guys better not drop this drama I tell you. I just wish it was a bit longer because after watching it I felt like I need to see more and know more, but I guess i have to move on now..

Also, for the leads, they  were good at portraying their roles, and aside from that I just love how they were able to match these two actors! They just had a wonderful chemistry!

for those looking for quality mini dramas, i suggest you guys try this one. It is not something that will let you become emotionally invested on but it is a good drama when you want to feel light and satisfied at the same time, because this drama will leave you smiling by the time you reach the end.

enjoy!

The writer must be on drugs. The writer basically ran out of ideas. There are just plainly too many illogical scences and the story starts to get ridiculous and merely to just to keep more episodes going.  There are too many scences that can be removed especially those scenes with someone pondering or reminiscing the past etc. All these are just to extend the number of episodes.  Epusode 30 onwards starts to get even worst. Basically the amount of episodes can be cut by half. 62 episodes are just plain too many snd there are too many redundancy.

OH man, I binged this drama in three days after deciding to watch it on a whim. I'm not a picky drama reviewer. If I like it, I'll give it a 10. And even though this drama had some flaws, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the ride it took me on. The villain in this show is insane. He is an evil mastermind and yet comes off as so smooth and charismatic you can't help but like him. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time because of how many steps ahead he was of the police. Although, with the way the police in this show operates, it doesn't take much to outsmart them. I thought this drama would drag in the middle like romcoms usually do, but I didn't find myself bored while watching this at all. The pacing between tense moments of cat and mouse was balanced out well with the cuteness of the main couple. They were adorable! Shin Se Kyung and the main lead had such great chemistry. So many cute moments and thankfully there wasn't a ton of internal angst. But the real star of this drama has to be the Lieutenant Yeom Mi. I loved her! Never have I loved a second female lead so much. Not only was she smart (that switch with Cho Rim snatched my wig right off), she was beautiful and kind and just a badass. There were some flaws in the story here and there. The whole one eye turning green and being able to see scents was kind of out there but it was still an interesting story idea. The cops frustrated the heck out of me but we got a nice ending with everything tied up in a nice bow and I felt satisfied after the show was over. All in all, this drama was a pleasant way to spend 16 hours and I can definitely see myself rewatching this later.

It's one of those rare romantic comedy who manage to create a strong memorable character to each cast.
Not only the main lead but almost all cast is strong, the Villain is freaking great, the friends, the colleagues, the Ex, the moms, even Mr Byun and Mr Bang is so strong
To add up to it, the soundtracks are amazing, love almost all of them, can't stop playing them on spotify
The chemistry between the main leads is so believable and beautiful ??????
Great job to all people behind it. Highly recommended

Ah, one more completed drama for my list. Not that my list is that long to begin with, but Oh My Ghostess deserves a special spot on my watchlist because it's one of the dramas I'll miss to watch. Obviously I'll rewatch it later but...it's nothing like watching it for the first time and liking.

Bias aside, Park Bo Young is excellent here. She managed to deliver two characters in one, and not she only did that, but she made me feel for those two characters. I could easily close my eyes and still know who was who. She's not the only one shining on this drama though, Kim Seul Gi was also very good, like she is most of times, it's so sad that she doesn't have more leading roles, she has more talent than many leading actresses nowadays.

Also I was surprised by Jo Jung Suk, I had only seem him as a guest role in another drama (Legend of The Blue Sea) and saddly his appearence was too small to have a solid impression at all, so I was happy to accompain him from the beginning to end. Made me want to watch Jealousy Incarnate ASAP. And last but not least, I really liked Im Joo Hwa as well. His villain wasn't unforgetable, but it was like his acting could break the fourth wall, you know. People on the drama could feel something odd about him, as well as the viewers.

The story was also pretty original as far I know. Obviously it still has some traits that kdramas can't seem to let go of like the uber talented jerk-ish male lead, the dirty poor yet golden hearted female lead, the nagging mother-in-law and obviously a love triangle. However, unlike many other kdramas, OMG masterfully descontructs and turn into new things these same clichés. Even the love triangle is something completely original and well played.

I don't have that many complains about the show, I guess it's only major flaw was that it sometimes became boring and too slow. Not the good kind of slow, but just plainly slow. Due to this I was slow to finish, that's why I didn't give it a 9 (10 is only for the dramas that manage to touch me deep and only one has done it so far). That and I also felt that some drama on the last episodes could be avoided, also some plot points were a bit loose, and the villains backstory could be more elaborated.

Haha I ended up complaining a lot, but oh well.

The music was good, nothing more or less. I can't even remember it that well if I'm going to be honest.

Overall Oh My Ghostess is an entertaining ride. Not the most fun, not the most heartbreaking, not the most romantic, but good enough to make you like and watch it until the end.

Stranger is one of the best mystery drama of Korean, American, Japanese, or Chinese origin. Admittedly, I am only on Episode 9. The twists are of many varieties, subtle, obvious, significant, and incremental. Ok, I'm slow in catching on, but at the end of Episode 8, I realized that I need to re-watch Episode 1 et al. Why? because there are no gratuitous scenes, wasted monologue, or fluff. Some things, all things, most things, are clues or clues leading to clues. I literally get tired watching because the required focus is draining. LOL.

I do NOT want to skip to the end. The journey is clearly entertaining, and each twist is an ending in and of itself.

I stopped guessing. The clues will take me to where I should be headed. It is a wonder filled path. Enjoy.

The movie is based on a true story which intrigued me, it was original and had me laughing most of the way through it. the students who were from all across the world such as America, Mexico, Germany, England and other countries  came together to discover their family’s culture in South Korea in the mid 1980’s in a kind of school camp.
The Story was good but I did think that it was ever so slightly lacking something, The story really consisted of the build up of relationships with the characters but the way some of the characters were portrayed in the story I couldn’t really grow to like some of them.
Some of the actors/ cast I didn’t really like the characters they played I didn’t really like Grace in all honesty, but I feel like the actress did really well in portraying her, I also didn’t like the other female lead, Kris I feel as if the actress didn’t really fit the part for it (in my opinion), some of the minor characters acting was a bit iffy but despite that I felt that the other actors and actresses really fit the part.
The music had all the greatest hits in the 80’s which I absolutely loved

Idea behind: Korean variety shows usually tend to make me shed tears from laughing too much, but i won't deny that it wasn't always the case when i found my eyes burning while watching Grandpas Over Flowers. Na Young Seok PD is truly admirable for coming up with such an idea. Gathering up 4 veteran actors, who have worked day and night for so many years, with families built and lives spent in one single place, thus never really having the opportunity or  experience of traveling abroad in their younger days and filming a travel variety show with them is such a nice idea. Seeing how eager they are to finally see places they saw in pictures and read about, how exciting they find the idea of traveling with good friends at such an old age (the youngest is 69 and the oldest is 79), and how precious this vacation is for them as they all think that this time might be the last one  is so touching yet heartbreaking. Also, in Na PD's some other works , ie. New Journey to The West (which i adore) i sometimes felt that traveling abroad wasn't really an important issue. You could put that team in a four walls room and make them play games and i would laugh at/love them the same amount. But this series has such a nice balance of traveling and other variety points.Cast: The 4 veterans have such a good synergy, and so much friendship built in years they worked together it is always a joy to watch them together.  They all have such a deep appreciation as well as knowledge of art, places and life. (especially Lee Soon Jae; he knows SO much about everyting) They are a really good team although so different individually.  Lee Soon-Jae, the oldest of the group is the most energetic, has an impatient nature (he is always 10 steps ahead of the group) and pretty much represents the kind of tourist who would like to see a much as possible in a limited time, always thinking about the next destination and likes to be outside in the city returning to the hotel only to sleep. On the other side Baek Il-Sub the youngest is the trouble maker and the probably the laziest -mind you he has health issues so he isn't actually whining for no reason, well most of the time- , his ideal vacation is sitting in a cafe, sipping his coffee, eating desserts and observing people. He shrugs when asked about Versailles -it's just a luxurious furniture shop  and isn't really a fan of museums - at all (He is my spirit animal). His personality is very instinctive , he gets tired and angry easily reminding the viewers of a child but is in reality a big teddy bear walking around.  Finding the middle ground between these opposite personalities are 2nd oldest Shin Goo and 3rd oldest Park Geun Hyun. Shin Goo is filled with cutesy behaviour, a true lover of soju (his drunken acts and Lee Seo Jin fanship are the best) and the voice of reason. He knows how to sugarcoat trouble to calm Baek Il- Sub down and jokingly argues with Lee Soon-Jae to make him give in. Park Geun Hye on the other hand finds not getting involved in any arguments the easiest ( with his partner in crime Lee Seo Jin) and is ready to follow any decision others make just to stay out of trouble. Unlike his image on screen he has a child-like nature, has a huge sweet tooth and loves fooling around. Joining these cute veterans to take care of them is Lee Seo Jin who we know of historical dramas and Na PD's later works (he is pretty much Na PD's favorite nagging brother and person to annoy in the present) .  He is, in his own words, scammed to join the show and is ,by Na PD's words, the best thing  he has ever done by casting. Lee Seo Jin impresses by his ability to plan , satisfy the elder actors' wishes and still give a great entertainment performance by- well being himself.Music: Like all of Na Young Seok PD's other works the BGM is perfect and hilariously fitting the alarming moments as well as the touching moments. It is just so well chosen, proving the big effort the staff has put in editing.Overall: The show is a touching, simply beautiful travel-reality show. And with Na PD's signature touch it is utterly hilarious.
