Not for RomCom lovers
A medical drama that instead of worrying about themselves in a hierarchy system, they, against all odds, worry about the patients. Almost none romance, and even though I hated it at the beginning, that's what made this drama one of my favorites. But don't worry my children, there is romance. Well executed, if I may add. I became a fan of every single actor and actress in this drama. It has good OSTs but nothing over the top. Most of them were played too many times but for the times it was played in the right moment I'll give an 8.5.
Disaster either brings the best or worst side of people. The plotline revealed well what each of the characters was going through. There's no supreme evil villain here, just people with personal interests (maybe their methods are somehow evil). However it did have plotholes that were plain obvious. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll find yourself shouting at the screen. 100% recommended.

The plot was interesting ! but It was way to cheesy for my taste and it gets boring time to time , I didn't like the production it was low Q & didn't like the cartoonish editing !
But the actress was good I liked her acting I think without her I wouldn't be able to finish it , and the OST was lovely .
It was not terrible it was light-romantic story , so if you have nothing to watch maybe you can give it a try .

The story was really well-written: half way through the show, we already know who is the villain, but it doesn't matter, the writing of the characters keep us addicted. You want proofs? I watched the entire drama in a day, I didn't want to stop, even to eat properly. Some of you may be scared by the time travel since this genre is often considered repetitive but honestly, I watched it without getting bored once! More, if I had the misfortune to look at my phone, I was lost and couldn't understand anything. This drama is really interesting.
Let's talk a bit about this cast! I had seen a bit of Furukawa Yuki here and there and I knew what to expect: he greatly did his job but he's not the one that immensely impressed me. Please, the children are so talented. Some of their scene left me breathless, they have this energy that most actors lose when growing up. The moments in the past were really emotionaly intense, these young actors are so talented. (actually, if you like Stranger Things, you are going to love this: the children give similar vibes in both.)
Watching a Netflix japanese original production is most of the time a good pick. It means a good script, lots of money and a quality cast. More, this drama was eagerly expected because of the manga it's from. Sure thing, it was going to be good on a lots of levels from the beginning. And in the end, it was good on all and every levels.
I'll probably watch it again in a few months, because knowing the story doesn't waste the experience.
Just watch it already!

"ah, I want a teacher like Hara-sensei when I was in school" (he loves his students, he gives wonderful and encouraging speeches, and he is so cute <3).
"ah, I want to have students like them" (they were all nice people and honest and not one of them was mean and they were all fighting to have a good time in their first year as co-ed).
"ah, I want classmates like them when I was in school" (they were all fun and supportive).
There are like 12 students that are the main students in the drama, and each one of them contributed to the story. There are silly and fleeting romance stories between them: one day A loves B, next day B loves C, so A falls for D, and so on. Still, their friendship was never fleeting; this was a classroom to remember fondly in the future. I specially teared up when the transsexual student came out of the closet and all her classmates were like "we knew and that's ok". Same when her father, who at first refused to acknowledge his beautiful son loved to dress as a girl, finally embraced the reality and said "thank you for pretending to be a boy all these years till now". What a beautiful quote.
The script was beautiful, nothing corny about it. I can safely say that this drama is one of the best school comedy in Jdramaland. This one deserves more love! When I was in ep. 6 or so I was already a bit sad since it was almost the end.
Nishikido Ryo was lovely as Hara-sensei. No wonder his student fell for him. Not only he is a kind person, his smile is bright and he loves what he does. And I love Hachiya-sensei's love story with him. The kabe-don, and the grip in the train, and all her craziness. And of course, she looked so pretty with that short hair. It suits her heart-shaped face. Really, I loved everything about her, from her face to her personality to her weird clothes. And she must be super-tiny because Ryo is short, but he was at least one head taller than her O_O
The principal (Namase Katsuhisa) suits this kind of role perfectly. He wasn't annoying (like his role in Gokusen), and his talk-show was very funny. First time I liked all teachers in a school drama! And all these students too... I loved them all. I have seen most of them is small guest roles in other dramas, so I am happy to know that they are doing well, being still young.
Music was ok, I didn't pay much attention to K8' song but I know it suited the fun, vibrant life of school-life.
Mini-reunion: Ryusei Ryo (my boy!) with another Kyoryuger member.

I dropped this when it was airing coz at that time I was viewing Nirvana In Fire, so my taste for legit dramas had skyrocketed, and PA's lighting was insanely bright that it looked like a "not serious" drama. The filter is okay but the lighting is very historically incorrect. Everywhere is so bright.
but I finished it now and understand the hype.

P.S. The "hugging" cover photo is very misleading!

My biggest qualms are two very superficial things: Firstly, I honestly don't like how Mark Chao looks... I know that is a ridiculous thing to say but there is something about his face that makes him unattractive to me. Just compare him to the visuals of Yang Yang or many other Chinese actors - it may be his hair but something just makes his nose and visuals very distracting for me (this is coming from a straight male). This obviously has nothing to do with the plot or characters so this doesn't effect my score and in my opinion he is a pretty good actor, but like I said, this is one of my biggest qualms with the drama. Secondly, I think there are too many random characters that appear and disappear to force the plot line forward which makes the pacing a little slow at times and a little too fast at times. However, this is typical of many Chinese costume dramas so it can be forgiven.
Overall, let me put this simply: if you have watched one Chinese costume drama than you have probably watched them all. Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms/Eternal Love does everything extremely well. It has the visuals, the art, the character tropes, the music and the feelings that most other costume dramas have. It's not groundbreaking, but it's definitely a good drama to watch when you have a lot of time.

As for SOTUS probably I re-watched it for a couple of times already yet I'm still hooked to it. The characters have great chemistry and I like how close they are with each other.I also like the way the story revolved, how the couple progressed in the series in really good. At first really thought BL series are kinda GROSS but when I watched it i'm surprised cause I really feel the thrill and excitement. It seems that i'm still watching a normal romance between man and woman. In this series, you would learn a lot, from TEAMWORK,COURAGE,COOPERATION,FRIENDSHIP and most importantly ACCEPTANCE. Acceptance will help us be free from all the burden and it would also make up HAPPY. I hope you will also feel the same upon watching this series.

The character arcs are extremely well written and are backed by a strong cast. I empathized so much with Im Sang Mi throughout her struggles with Guseonwon. As well as the antagonists were so interesting with all of their different motives and power plays. Woo Do Hwan in his role of Seok Dong Cheul was transfixing. He really is everything you want in an underdog. This rookie performance will forever be a stand out for him. The only performance I was completely underwhelmed with was Ok Taec Yeon’s Han Sang Hwan. His character is pretty flat and lack luster.
I strongly recommend watching this drama. If you are looking for something different, a little spooky with good writing and story-telling, pick this ONE! Even if this doesn’t seem like your thing, still try this one on for size! It is quite a ride!!!

Basically the back story is that, Good and Evil has always been battling. The representative of the good side (heaven) was Ah Yat's father. His nemesis, the devil king, jealous that he can't possibly win a fight, impregnant Ah Yat's mom with his own demon seed, and plots that when the boys grow older they'll have the most epic show-down because the Good son will probably hesitate to kill his own brother. The devil king and Ah Yat's father have a showdown, which the Devil King gets locked away in a cave, and Ah Yat's father and mother pass away.
Years later the boys grow up along side their adoptive mother, and their sister Kieu Kieu (**I watched in Vietnamese, so I don't know the Chinese). The three are quite comical, and often get into trouble and fights with each other. The three pretty much tear apart the little village, beneath the mountain, with their antics. Throughout the drama, they'll be introduced into several characters Thanh Thanh (Ah Yat's girlfriend), Yen Phien Thien (Their awesome martial arts friend), and many more characters. Thanh Thanh is a pretty violent/bossy girl towards Ah Yat, but he still tries to pursue her. Yen Phien Thien is a hit-man and the two brothers ask him to teach them martial arts, the three get into a lot of trouble in casinos (by scamming people). Throughout the funny stuff, there are several arcs where they all face the devil king's minion.
This drama is from the 90's so the CGI sucks on today's TV. It's also quite goofy. But it's a great drama and really showcase all the actors. Roger Kwok and Dicky Cheung were REALLY handsome when they were young. If you get a chance to watch this drama, it's pretty good.

There will be times where you’ll, be like wtf but then at the end of the episodes it explains why.
It has many realistic points that happens in people lives like we’re all not perfect and that not everything we do can please other p, even though we wanted to.
Loved how their time traveling ,add things better for the main’s couple themself, friends, and family.
It’s also nice how the show wanted you to cherish whatever you have rather than complain and want more.
Overall nice plot, pretty funny, hot second lead, funny supports. 10/10
