One of my favorite Shanghai dramas behind the original Shanghai Bund. Hawick Law looks very sexy as the powerful mob boss The Wolf.

I loved every episode of this drama, especially OSTs, casting, main characters. Every single moment was beautifully shown. Love story and chemistry were amazing! I love first couple's romance,it was naturally and I felt they understood each other great. Second couple's romance was also great, otherwise it couldn't be, there is Lee Dong Wook. :) In this genre this is one of the most lovable and watchable drama and I advice everyone to watch this drama.

'I'll die soon' is a really cute drama special including romance and friendship. To be honest I wasn't too sure about watching it but since Kim Seul Gi was in it I couldn't help myself! I found the whole story line to be realistic and interesting.
The acting was believable and I swear Kim Seul Gi's acting gets better everytime she acts, I'm sure she'll go far in her career, since she's so cute and likeable!
I'll definately rewatch this again if I have time!

bare with me as this would be my first review ever. if you've seen goblin you might enjoy this as it has 2 of their main casts in this, or if you're a fan of gray's music then you'll probably be here fangirling alot like i certainly was.

even though it's a short series it got straight to the point which is what i liked about it. the characters were all likeable and they've all got their adorable quirks. the only thing i disliked was that is was too short imo, i needed more satisfaction for the eyes & the fact it looked like an advertisement? there wasn't much plot but what do you expect for 6 minutes each episode? it was still somewhat enjoyable.

i don't remember there being many ost tracks so sorry if the music rating is quite low. but overall this is a decent short series & hope you watch it.

A REAL GEM ... DON'T MISS

first of all what made me gave this show that rate not 10/10
that it's basically depends on baseball sport rules & i don't like that sport or even understand it's rules

but the story it self away from that part full 10 cause
i adore the stories about how friendship turned to be love
what made that story distinguish that it could happen in real life (realistic) one,
very smooth ,superfine & slow love
although i wasn't at the drama mood but it kept drawing my attention till i continued which means it's really v.good drama & the plot is amazing

i love how they tried hard to keep their friendship safe just not to lose each other till finally they discovered that if they won't admit their love they already 'll lose
i love how they were so honest about what they were thinking about without sensitivity

P.S : really i was broken hearted for (Lee Tae Sung) cause he really loved (Soo Ae) so T_T

in sum : i found it amazing underrated drama

I'm the type of person who would never give a 10/10, as I always feel that something is lacking, but this.... this is phenomenal.
This show made me feel in ways I can not describe.I felt the tenderness between lovers, the true meaning of friendship and the love and care between various characters.
The actors portrayed their characters magnificently, especially the king and I hardly saw any flaws being done by the other two main characters. They were all immersed in their character. A couple of the supporting characters also had fantastic acting skills.
This show is a must watch for those who enjoy beautifully portrayed characters and a fantastic story, that has its ups and downs, and its moments of laughter and sadness. The love in the show makes me believe that there is true honest love in this world.

P.S I think I fell for the king

Its showing in England. To say I have been obsessed is putting it mildly. I very much like the Scandinavian noir crime dramas and(totally different) having watched Okja thought I would try Stranger. Its very very good totally gripping. I also very much liked the food scenes and how people live and relate with each other. Corruption, intrigue and the fight for human survival, integrity and respect. I hope there's another series. It was excellent!

i was able to catch the movie in our local cinema. while i will not go to the extent of calling this a bad movie, ultimately it is quite mediocre.

First..for the good parts, the special effects are well done and much better than the obviously fake CGI animation in the tv drama. i also prefer the lead actress liu yifei in the movie. For me she looks more endearing than yang mi in the drama. It took a bit of time for me to warm up to TV yang mi. The pacing is fast (sometimes too fast) so you will not get bored watching.

now for the bad parts. whether or not you've seen the TV drama version, this movie has fairly significant shortfalls.

if you've not seen the drama, the plot will be baffling. Special effects cannot make up for lack of cohesive story. The idea to constantly go back and forth from the present to the past was initially ok, but later robbed the impact and I suspect will make it confusing to moviegoers with no background. And while i understand and support the need to cut many characters and side story, there was lack of explanation on important parts. On the positive side, you will likely find the acting passable, though not brilliant.

if you've seen the drama, the story will be understandable (thanks to your pre-knowledge), however the movie itself will be disappointing. Chinese netizens are diligently posting ludicrous parts e.g. the audience actually laughed the first time some of the supporting characters costume came on to the screen - not the reaction you wanted! Thankfully, the lead actors qian qian and ye hwa are (mostly) costumed nicely, however even qian qian elicited another laughter on one supposed to be dramatic scene, again due to over the top costume. But to me costume can be overlooked. What made it unsatisfying ultimately is lack of emotional connection. The actor yang yang is not so bad, but if you've seen the drama, you can't help but compare to mark chao. Whether it is the fault of the story pacing or the deficiency of acting skills, many dramatic scenes felt flat. One of the highlights of the tv drama was when lead actor and actress met again after a period of separation. In the movie, it was more like "boy meets girl for first time" romcom type of vibe.

For fans of the novel/series, don't be discouraged by this review. Do go ahead and watch. Arm yourself with low expectation and you will enjoy the movie more with its beautifully shot scenes and relive the story. Certainly the ~2hrs flew by quickly. For non-fans, I recommend stay away, it will leave you baffled on what the fuss is all about.

TWs/Some disturbing things in the movie: abuse (specifically on women), drowning

(I watched this movie a few nights ago and this is my first review so it might be a bit rusty! I apologise if it isn't very helpful.......)

GOOD:
- Story: The sci fi/futuristic elements of this movie are great. Once the crime/mystery is revealed, it twists and can get quite confusing (that's why I liked it!). The ending wraps it quite well and although there are some things left open, I don't think they were necessary to answer.
- Characters: The 'good' guys are relatively likeable, but this movie goes in all sorts of directions so you will feel a lot of things. And as for character development, it was decent for the leads.
- Acting: Some of the best I've seen. Emotion is expressed really well particularly at the extremes.
- Music: Goes well with each scene, although not very memorable but it worked with the emotion.
- Visuals: I'm all for wonderful CG and special effects, and this movie did it very well.

NOT SO GOOD:
- Story: Uncomfortable and disturbing during some scenes (as mentioned in the TWs!). The pacing felt a bit off and rushed towards the end. Storyline might be a bit predictable... especially if you're a fan of the genre like me!
- Characters: As mentioned, watching the definite bad guys doing the things they do..... ....was uncomfortable.... but necessary for the story...

REWATCH: I don't tend to rewatch anything I've seen once unless I loved it, and because of the disturbing scenes it is very unlikely that I'll be watching this again.

OVERALL: 8/10. Enjoyable for most of it. But please don't watch this if you feel like you might get triggered!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I haven't seen the prequel to this movie! Yet it seemed to act fine on it's own, so I don't think you need to see it if you haven't

The absolute best thing about this drama was the chemistry between all of the characters, especially the male and female lead. The story lagged a few times, but the amazing relationships kept me watching. This was a nice fairly realistic look at several different types of relationships, and I applaud the writers and director for being slightly more progressive than a lot of the other K-dramas I have watched in the past. I loved this drama because of the fantastic characters and because it was so well written. There weren't any weird things happening for the sake of outrageous drama, and the character development was on point. I'm going to miss this one for sure.

This drama was absolutely adorable. I have to admit, after watching the first couple of episodes, I put this on hold because the story seemed kind of annoying. I wasn't super crazy about the main lead and I just wasn't in the mood at the time. But after someone begged me to finish it, I quickly fell in love with both the story and the characters. The story dragged a little too much at the end, but I enjoyed watching it none the less. Siwon did absolutely fantastic in his role, and he honestly made the whole show for me. This is really my first time ever getting second lead syndrome. I loved the main lead as well, Siwon is just more my type, and his story line was done really well. Overall, a really great drama.

Okay, I am going to admit that I have become a little obsessed with Jyung Kyung Ho. I don't think that I am the only one either. In addition to being absolutely gorgeous, he is also a stunning actor. The emotion and skill he is able to put into every single one of his roles is just astounding. Oppa's role in Falling for Innocence did not disappoint at all. Sometimes his acting would give me chills, and he definitely stole every scene that he was in. The main female lead was decent and I had a lot of love for her, but she didn't do much. The second male lead was annoying and I liked Jin Goo's character way more. He lived on as the second lead in my heart. The plot was what really set this drama apart from the rest. It was so complex and yet simplistic enough to create an entertaining story for tons of people. I think Oppa is just really good at picking scripts. I am giving this one a 7 because the drama is not as memorable as Oppa's performance was.

This has got to be the most well scripted and well-acted drama I have ever seen. Ji Sung, in particular, did a fantastic job with playing several different personalities. He was just constantly spot on in his acting. Kill Me, Heal Me has made it to my top favorite list. It had a great combination of comedy and tragedy that I find entertaining. And I loved all of the characters. Even characters I hated because they were villainous, I also sympathized with. That is what really makes a good villain. Fantastic drama with a pretty much flawless storyline. A must watch for everyone interested in being entertained.

I can tell why this drama is so well liked. Everything is so well rounded from the characters to the plot. This drama was hilarious and heartbreaking, and just amazing. I am so glad I got to see Jin Goo again, he is such a good actor, and he blew me away when comparing him to his other drama that I loved him in. The chemistry in this was absolutely on point. The two main couples were fricking amazing together, and they interacted as a group really well too. All such amazing actors and actresses. The storyline was freaking fantastic. I didn't think I would enjoy something that looked sad and depressing. When I think of soldiers, I think of death and war. I figured this would be that, and it was, but it was also so much more. It was funny, sweet, sad, contemplative. There were some amazing action scenes, and the editing was fantastic. There really isn't anything bad I can say about this show. It was just so fun to watch. I want everyone whether a k-drama fan or not to immediately stop what they are doing and watch this. It is just that fantastic. Best k-drama I have ever seen. Better than a lot of American shows too. Just good stuff.

This drama was all over the place and a little aimless. There didn’t seem to be any real structure, and there wasn’t a tangible goal for either of the main characters. They didn’t come back for any real reason, and so it just kind of seemed like they wasted their time doing unnecessary things. Han Gi Tak’s storyline was the most interesting and driven. Unfortunately, most of the show was spent on other storylines that just weren’t as exciting and so it dragged. I was really disappointed in Rain’s character. He did a fine job, but his character just wasn’t written very well. Like I said, he felt all over the place and aimless. I could understand if he was just for a less prominent storyline and comic relief, but he had the main storyline. I’m not sure why the writers put such a shallow storyline in the main spotlight, but it really affected me being able to enjoy myself. I was constantly disappointed when Han Gi Tak’s storyline would make a short appearance and then Rain would bust through with all of these long, drawn out, and often boring scenes. I loved Han Gi Tak -- or Ha Na -- so much that I wanted to watch an entire show of just her and her storyline. Also, the ending was ok. Overall, though, this was a disappointment.
