A short drama about a celebrity who is facing family problems. And they are not simple ones. Her husband confesses that he is gay and brings home his lover, their son's past tutor, the son is rebelling and falls for his teacher. Plus, her career is on a downfall. The performances were good and the emotions were all over the place, with the son-teacher story stealing the show as it was very touching. The story about the tutor and the big secret was interesting enough. It did felt like the drama ended half way, but then it picked up again and was entertaining through the end. However, it felt like something was lacking. Maybe it was the fact that the plot felt forced, as the twists seemed a little artificial. Finally, the ending was just silly, as they twisted the facts and changed the whole thing. So, 4 out of 10.

I was looking forward to this drama, as it is based on a good manga and the lead actor is one of my favourites. However, it didn't progress as good as expected. The first episodes were really good, with the romance developing in slow tempo and the drama being highlighted with the struggles of the inspiring students who want to debut as a band. However, the drama started falling apart after the first half. The romance was not as strong, as the guy constantly made the girl cry, and the girl simply and very idiotically, for me at least, kept coming back. There as a nice love triangle, that, again, couldn't be developed because clearly the girl was obsessed over her first love interest. The performances were okay, but not as good as they could have been, and the songs were nice. So, 4 out of 10.

Heirs is one of the classic K dramas that one who's a fan should watch. Well, I can see why: 1) the plot is about a wealthy but with bad background guy who falls in love with a poor girl, who is also his maid's daughter. You can guess the problems that will occur because of their relationship, and yes, they all happen. But at least the girl didn't play they oh so mighty protagonist who wouldn't even bat an eye on his father's threats. 2) the love triangle was between two of the most popular Korean actors, Woo bin and Min ho 3) the rest of the cast is consisted by popular idols 4) the beginning is set in California and their meeting was really clever Okay, so it's a good drama and even the fact that it was 20 episodes long didn't really matter, as it was quite interesting up till the end. And I've got to say, I never like Woo Bin at the beginning of his dramas, but end up fangirling over him... His character was very interesting and even if the love triangle was weak, because clearly the girl had no interest in him, it was nice to watch the two boys fighting over their past. However, there were some parts that I didn't like: - it reminded me of Gossip Girl, especially that jealous Rachel girl was way too Blair Woldorf - the poor girl-rich boy scenario had no twists in it - the romance had no passion, maybe because there was little chemistry between them - most of the students didn't look like students So, 5 out of 10 for Heirs.

A short drama that has the feeling of a shoujo manga. The drama explores the journey to adulthood and the theme of first love well enough. You do get nostalgic about your school life towards the end. The young couple was cute and the individual stories were interesting. So, 6 out of 10

Doctors is one of 2016 hit dramas and you could find it on the hot lists throughout the year. And though it started promising, for me, it kind of turned out to be a bit boring. Okay, I have to admit, I love the full of drama background stories, in which the hero is so unfortunate that everything that could possibly go wrong, well, goes wrong, but, in the end, he or she strives. So, the first few episodes were my favourite. However, the ten-years-later story was okay at first, but became really boring in the end, to the point that only the medical stories were interesting. The romance was weak, as well as the love triangle, as the characters didn't have lots of chemistry. The performances were good and the surgeries were very realistic, to the point that you had to look away when they opened one's scalp. Anyway, because of the first episodes and because we could see the development of the character, 3 out of 10.

A comedy that deals with after life issues and family drama. Though the comedy part wasn't that good and eventually it was overshadowed, not to say overlapped by the family drama, the drama was quite interesting, and in a way entertaining. The story centres around two men, who have died and come back in different bodies, one as a successful young man and the other as a young woman. Okay, first, the positives of this drama: -the leading lady was amazing in her role as a man reincarnated in a woman's body. Her role was comical as well as dynamic, and she was really good in acting with her "ex lover". -some parts were funny -the family dynamics were really touching Now, for the negative: -the final episode was so-so with the main characters just ending their mission -the guy's obsession with his wife. I mean, from one point on, it was tiring -the twists were unnecessary So, all in all, a so-so drama, so 5 out of 10.

umm.. i liked the first season more than this one, the story is a bit slow in season 2.
Details are good and acting has also improved. Despite Bonne not being there, the other actor has played well. Book and Frame are just relationship goals.
BUT hoping for a better story line and overall development.

I came for Donghae, I stayed for Donghae.....
This drama was really hard to watch. The acting is fine, although they started writing the female lead differently after the first few episodes and she becomes less likable. The story itself begins well but soon drags. I made myself watch it because my mama didn't raise no quitter (and i hate seeing anything incomplete on my watch list lol). I will say i kinda wanted to make cakes after watching this, but would I watch it again? Nope :)

Let me start by saying I haven't read the manga, but could've read volumes in the roughly two hours I wasted on watching this endearing but nearly eventless movie.

The vivid imagination of the main female character was the only great part about this live-action adaptation. Sadly, her quirkiness and ability to exaggerate any situation faded off too early on, rendering the rest of the movie increasingly dull and hard to watch. The pacing was bad and the romance felt flaccid and unconvincing. Everything regarding the relationship of the main couple was rushed – absolutely no build up whatsoever – and I can't seem to understand why, since nothing else took place in the movie, leaving me thinking, "What did I watch, and why did I watch it?"

On the plus side, this movie had some of the most beautiful cinematography I've seen in a Japanese produced live-action adaptation. The strong cast and solid acting are praise-worthy as well. However, I could see this play out in a million other ways in my head. What started out brilliantly turned out upsettingly mediocre and bland. Now this is just my subjective opinion. I'm only a bit disappointed is all, since I'd been looking forward to watching this in what feels like an eternity – and naturally, had expectations.

My advice, watch it if you're a fan and absolutely must (or if you're looking for ways to kill time, literally) – otherwise don't even bother.

This was such a great watch! I only hope I can find another drama that matches how much I loved this one. The story was very realistic and believable.

The two leads have such amazing chemistry and I could not stop watching. I usually watch one episode a night, but I watched the last 3 in one go because I got so hooked around the end. I would totally recommend this to anyone who loves Romance/Drama in a show. The writing was well done and like I said, very believable situations. You really feel the struggles between the social classes of these characters.

The drama starts out very promising. It has beautiful actors, costumes, and musics. However, the story falls off the cliff half way through. 56 episode-drama is too long for a weak story. The core elements of wuxia are love and power. The drama gets some of the love right (mostly because of the music). However, the power part is completely wrong. There is no clear ranking of power. Main characters (both good and bad) have plot armor making fight scene a joke. Also, the male lead is so weak - it’s pathetic (the female lead also becomes weak – she got infected with weakness). They survive because of “plot armor”.
I was hoping to ease the urge while waiting Nirvana on Fire 2. This was a huge disappointment in comparison.

Honestly, the story is quite good and the characters are well presented. Kiritani Mirei and Mizukawa Asami have performed their best performance. I really admire them from the past drama and movies.

Jun Jonochi (Mirei Kiritani) works at a paper manufacturing company. She is earnest, but clueless about her own appearance. She doesn't have any interest in making herself look good. One day, she realizes that people don't view her as other women. She begins to read up on things like make-up and fashion trends with her two female colleagues.

Very sweet drama and lovable main couple. First few episodes are kinda annoying, but the rest grow on you. Story isn't out of the ordinary. Typical main male lead teases female lead for the story. The characters are what makes this show great, especially the main couple. Usually I end up liking second leads or second couples but for this drama, the main couple is really strong. Music is not that memorable but isn't bad.

When I had first decided to watch this drama I didn't know what I was getting myself into. At all. I'd never seen a war drama per say, and I didn't know how this would turn out since it was set during the WW2 era~ the only reason I'd decided to watch this was because Zanilia was in it and I was on a solid Zanilia Zhao marathon, having watched 'The Mystic Nine', 'The Journey of Flower', and 'Cuo Dian Yuan Yang' before this, and also rewatching 'Boss and Me' for the second time as well.

I must say though, I was sucked in so fast I didn't know what hit me! I went through this like a storm, episode after episode till 4 in the mornings! It was crazy, but the thrill this drama presented was amazing. I really loved this drama, and maybe you will love it too.

--

YOU WILL LIKE THIS DRAMA IF YOU:

+ Like Zanilia Zhao

+ Love badass female leads

+ Devoted, badass male leads

+ Like Spy dramas

+ Like war dramas

+ Like a crazy second female lead ~ and like to see her going crazier with constant defeat.

+ Like a very complicated but thorough second male lead. (Ah, Song Mian. I love you.)

+ Like villains you can not really come to hate. (It's crazy, but the main Villains seemed more gentle than most characters here~ especially the female second lead.)

+ Do not mind character deaths. This is a war drama, people. You'll see a lot of character deaths. Trust me.

+ Don't mind crying.

+ Like happy endings.

--

I hope you fall in love with both Song Mian and the main male lead just as I did. I hope you cry and laugh with triumph. I hope you question the confused feelings in your chest about have about the main villains. I hope you learn to appreciate and forgive these characters just as I did. But mostly, I hope~ that you come to love this drama just as much as I did.
