one of the most beautiful love stories i've seen so far

So i liked EVERYTHING about this drama.

The acting which I think the chemistry of main leads in real life made an impact, the story made on real life accident...

I think despite Seo Dan's cruel side she deserved happiness with Seung Jun. I don't understand why they had to have a sad ending it just made my heart break

OSTs were amazing. They fit everything in this drama. The love story the atmosfere it was just a perfect story

Main leads' story made me in tears every episode and second leads' story at the end. i cozldn't express how much i cried watching Seung Jun die for Seo Dan.

i liked how dramatic they made the drama with a lot of almost dying scenes but everytime exept the Seo Dan and Seung Jun shooting scene they survived. i also liked the supporting roles the army friends of Capitain Ri which made the whole show a lot brighter

Another masterpiece from GMMTV

When you wake up in the morning, the whole world is against you. Labelled you as a criminal; no one is willing to give you a chance to get on your own two feet. Huge debt; lost the only family. Fighting alone on the battlefield is the only way to survive every single day.

Close your eyes and open them again. Those of us who have the luxury of seeing the world for granted get to pick when we think about seeing the world and our loved ones: do what we want, walk freely, or run. Every step is a battle, a victory, and a terrible reminder that you are suddenly blind. Only 10 hours per day can you see the world.

But fate brought these two people together. (And Little Day and Big Mhok, too.)

BOOM! and that plot works. Ladies and gentlemen, Beware of the emotional roller coaster in the future.
Excellent delivery to the audience because I can feel every inch of emotion from each and every character. The actors did a great job because acting felt realistic, especially in Jimmy and Sea. Because when the acting is compared to the series Vice Versa, it is more realistic, mature, and polar opposite from what we have seen, and the main leads have shown their full potential and capabilities.
The CG in the opening parts was a thoughtful idea. Since most of the audience does not have medical expertise, literally, you can get an idea of how Day sees the world every day within a single span. And how can a normal person see the world?
At first, I was wondering why they were using quotations from Little Prince. But it really works. Kudos to whoever gave the idea. All it gives is a secret message and inner feelings of Day to the audience.
So far, it's an excellent drama. I hope this won't make me disappointed.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS A COMEDY??? WHY AM I CRYING???

Man this is false marketing, the trailer made it seem like a comedy and it is but it made me cry so much too. I didn't think I would like a "bro"mance series but I did. It was so good. It made me cry and laugh. I love the stupidness of this movie. It was so out of pocket most of the time. I was laughing my guts out and then it also made me cry my eyes out. I love the character development, from a stupid straight homophobic guy to a caring lovable ally. I truely loved the growth. I also loved the bad guy in this series, boy she was a bad bitch and it all ended on a good note. I really hope if he gets recarnated again they are actually a couple now. What a good movie.

Mask On/Mask Off

This is a sweet little contemporary romance. It is relatively short at 14 episodes, so the pacing is tight. It is also angst light in the sense that there are no nasty parents nor psycho second leads. There are plenty of angst from a different quarter though and this forms the underlying message of the show. So, let’s talk about the love lines first.

The ML is handsome, and the FL is attractive. They are well matched and have good chemistry. They are sweet, loving and there is a decent amount of skinship, but nothing more than hugs and kisses. It is great to see that they understand the need to communicate. They talk through issues, and they trust each other. They act like mature adults and don't yo-yo between love-hate like some other dramas. It did take them a while to sort out their feelings but once they are a couple, there is no going back and no self-sabotage. They form an united front against anyone who try to come between them.

Interestingly, relationship issues are not completely off the table. The show touches on issues like jealousy, ghosting, gaslighting and some serious obsessive behaviours. It does feel a little tropey when you take it all in. It works out in the end, but it is hardly a joyride for all concerned, especially the FL’s sister.

Now, let’s talk about the rest. As the title implies, “faking it” is now such a part of modern culture that you will find it everywhere. Whether it is being pretentious or just to disguise one’s background, it is like a mask that people puts on or risk being unfairly judged and labelled.

If you think this is a great opportunity for satire then you’d be right. However, while this show is willing to poke fun at some common tropes (luxury handbags at 3 paces, anyone?), they are hardly cutting. We might get a chuckle out of it, but this is common fodder for Chinese comedies nowadays. I would almost call it a missed opportunity.

In that sense, the main theme of the show is not about fakes. Yes, there are plenty on display, but they are just props. The show is really a cautionary tale about achieving a good work life balance. This is significant because our leads certainly face that challenge and they also have to take off their masks before they can truly love each other. This is the real message of this show.

I’m glad that the show highlights such plights, but it does feel a little hollow. Nobody want their health or relationship to suffer because of excessive workload/work pressure but I have a sinking feeling that the positive messages are going to fall on deaf ears when you consider the current 996 work schedule in China and that is often the bare minimum. The pressure to conform is just too great. It is a noble sentiment, to be sure, but how many Chinese workers can achieve a healthy balance?

Putting this aside, the show is quite enjoyable. Production value is good, acting is solid and the OST is pleasant. If you are not in the thick of the rat race then this would be a very agreeable distraction while it last. Peace out.

High praise for the show's blend of humor, creativity, and emotional depth

"The Full-Time Wife Escapist" is a delightful Japanese drama that blends humor, creativity, and emotion in an 11-episode journey. The story revolves around Mikuri Moriyama, a psychology graduate struggling to find her footing, and Hiramasa Tsuzaki, a single professional for whom she becomes a housekeeper. The series expertly navigates themes of societal expectations, career, and married life, presenting a fresh take on the 'Contract Marriage/Fake Relationship' trope.

The acting, particularly by leads Aragaki Yui and Hoshino Gen, is top-notch, showcasing excellent comedic timing and genuine chemistry, translating into their real-life relationship. The show's technical aspects, including cinematography and editing, are commendable, with special mention of the detailed graphics in Mikuri's daydream sequences. These elements, combined with a stellar soundtrack featuring a catchy closing theme by Gen, contribute to a rich viewing experience.

While the series is a must-watch for fans of light-hearted comedies, it requires patience for lengthy internal monologues, especially in the later episodes. Overall, "The Full-Time Wife Escapist" is a well-crafted drama with excellent writing, casting, and a thoughtful message, making it a refreshing addition to the genre.

Prefer them as Business partners than Lovers

This drama is all about Mind vs heart , if you are looking for strong FL and female entrepreneurs this drama for you , she is sassy , strong , emotional and smart ? . Strongest point of this show is its music and FL arc story and her growth . ML is morally grey person , he makes mistakes , but he also tried to rectify it .

But love story from my POV is somehow toxic one , drunk kisses , ML hiding things from FL, Slapping ML.

So BEWARE , I would have prefer if they stayed better as Business partners but this is Cdrama land we need our own HAPPILY EVER AFTER .

Chemistry between actors was good and acting of all actors was A+ .

Sweet & Romantic

This is perfect for a binge watch snuggled up on the sofa on a cold rainy Sunday afternoon.
The story has several couples and the dynamics for each are totally different. You don't get bored with one before the story switches to another couple. Everything is sweet and romantic, without face-eating kissing and jumping into bed every 5 minutes. There is no major drama or tear jerkers, just a good story about a slice of life for 3 couples.

The ending was good and leaves you wondering how life will pan out for them all. I enjoyed it.

Darf af

I dunno how I ended up watching this movie but I did LOL...Oh well, the title says it all

But, I was mistaken by the poster that doesn't look as dark, but its actually darker than it looks. Especially, don't get fooled by that cute ML face like I did. lol

Yet, I enjoyed watching it, it's engaging, entertaining and plot twists after plot twists.

If you're into crime, thriller, action, go for this.

If you're okay with that, its cool to watch. Althou, I must say..I love the ML!

It's burning my eyes but I cannot look away

This show has two major flaws:
1. Lack of positive female characters - I mean, who am I supposed to relate to and root for?
2. The writer's foolish ways of fooling the viewers

I can applaud them for not turning it into a redemption story for trash characters; the story briefly had me afraid of it happening.

Some ships are not what anyone would expect but the matches later makes sense; even the ones that had me cringing to the max.

The plot twists (as expected from the writer of Penthouse) did not disappoint at first BUT be prepared to feel fooled by fools.

Many people didn't like the acting but it was good enough for me. Especially Min Do Hyuk, Mone, and Um Ki Joon's character. I love Guem Ra Hee's actress but this role isn't her best imo.

Music and production was good overall but the VFX were so bad that it made me laugh: it's worth a dishonorable mention lol.

The biggest disappointment was how little Bang Dami's character & story matters in the first season; the only ones I cared about. Maybe they'll do right by her in season 2.

You may get a good laugh out of it at best or give yourself a mild injury by face-palmming too hard at worst.

It's worth a watch if you've got time and have nothing better to watch.

Such a genuine reality TV show

I have been watching Taiwanese BL Drama/Movies for so long and always awaited for a reality TV show for the LGBTQ++ community.
Although this show completely copies the korean show "His Man 1/2" however I liked the genuineness in this show.
Everyone of them interacted with the crew member now n then. And they made it look like a scripted itinerary rather than spontaneous ones.
Most cast members were very reserved in expressing, which I think is Because of the VERY SHORT period of time being together. But I wish it was a bit long, like 15 days or a month so that all of them could open up. Also I wish we could see more of raw clips like cooking, cleaning up the house, taking care of the outside yard etc.
Especially the last two casts were too reserve to express but they were the most interesting ones to my finding.
Thanks for bring it up on light. This is such a fantastic show.

Interesting Story with A Great Premise

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Writer): Gene
T (Actor): Nubsib

Beginning: B is a BL write whose series is getting a TV series. During the casting for this series, B meets T, a new actor interested in acting one of the male leads. From the start, T shows a lot of interest towards B and even asks the help of B’s friend, who just happens to be his manager, to convince B to let him stay at his loft. Because T says he has no place to live, B agreed. As they start living together, T tries numerous ways to flirt with B, including asking him for help rehearsing lines and then kissing him in the name of practice. Slowly but surely, B starts to feel other feelings for T as well.

Middle: While their relationship develops, T continues to act in the drama he had auditioned for, the one based on B’s book.

End: Before they could have their happy ending, there are three obstacles. First while on a trip to his family home, B realizes that T has lied about everything, that he was actually his childhood friend and that he actually had a place to stay. Devastated, he tells T to get out, but T doesn’t. In the morning, T explains to him the reason he lied was to get B to stop looking at him as a kid. Although B ends up forgiving him, he still asks T to move out so they could start afresh. Apart from this problem, the couple also dealt with letting their parents know about their relationship. Finally, on a trip to the beach, videos of them being intimate on the beach is uploaded, making fans of the upcoming series furious that he wasn’t single. In order to save this show B and T are ordered to stay apart for a while until it dies down. B knows its for the best so despite how sad it was making him, they stopped meeting up for some time. The series end with them getting back together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I like how they showed how a BL show is produced from casting to final marketing. I like how the ensemble cast isn’t too cringey or awkward.
- I like the plot a lot, because it’s new and not everything is focused on the relationship. Apart from the relationship, the whole series production thing is also very interesting to watch.
- I really like how the main characters looked together. They are a cute couple and the way B shows affection, careful and sweet, is just heart melting. Sure B is gloomy most of the time but when he smiles, normally because of T, it’s extremely sweet.
- The editing was nice and the pace was nice. It’s not too fast or too slow and their relationship feels well developed and not rushed.
- I like how B isn’t thinking T is cheating on him.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT
- I didn’t like they spent a lot of time developing a het relationship.
- B can get a little gloomy but that is part of his personality.
- I didn’t like how many characters they tried to develop.
- There is a lack of intimate scenes, and kissing scenes are weird because they give a detail look of the kiss and its obvious it’s fake kissing, I would have preferred if they only showed it from afar.
- Acting can get a little too much, especially when it comes to side characters. They tend to exaggerate their moments, making certain characters rather cringey.
- This is really slow burn as they officially get together in the last episode (they get together earlier then that but there were always things threatening to split them up but now with everything resolved, they are together).

**Conclusion**
This is an adorable show with an interesting plot that should be given a chance.

Common Misconception

I find this pretty enjoyable eventho most people don't and shady businesses going on trying to pull this show down (my assumption).
The majority keep comparing it to penthouse even k-netz saying its very violent but from my perspective it would be worse reality-wise Its just that your brain can't comprehend the heavy plot, its not for the softcore and lazy brainers that's full of unicorn, cloud and romance, its good in its own element. Moreover don't jump into conclusion very quick when the situation is averse from what you know or ur own logic (when u watch the plot) because things could be deeper than it may seem that's high key dogmatic.

Not for everyone, you might like this if...

A group of mothers from a privileged neighborhood come together around their elementary children's schooling, but each of them have insecurities in their past and present lives. First and foremost, Green Mother's Club is pretty much a soap opera which has all the dramatic tropes, like false friendships, back-stabbing, stalking, drugs and murder. If you are fans of k-drama train wrecks, you would be entertained with this as the set up are quite intriguing right from the get-go. But if you're looking for a logical and realistic story, probably you would not get any emotional attachment to the characters as the series progresses.

The highlights of this story is definitely on the mothers instead of the children trying to do their best at school, which sounds similar to SKY Castle. All these mothers are deeply unhappy with themselves, and they have to address their issues in order to heal and be able to do their roles as mothers. The way show is portraying these mother are deeply humane and touching, and gave a lot of hearts to the show. The fathers are not doing much to contribute towards their children’s academic life. They are quite passive in their homes, but they're very kind-hearted. At the end, feel too ambitious to insert too many things too late, which leaves me rolling my eyes. While the script could have been better, the acting was great. From more experienced actresses in such roles as Lee Yo Won to the children, Choi Kwang Rok and his tri-lingual skills (Korean, French, English). The overall directing and editing is fine, it isn't trying to be artistic. It is presenting the characters in the story and in a really crisp way, which is good that it doesn't overpower any of the other aspects of the show.

Very silly

The whole show is very silly so if that’s what you like you’ll take enjoyment out of it like I did but if you’re looking for a well planned out plot with deep meaning you can skip this one. Although I found it really funny at times it has a lot of goofy behaviours from the cast that can be childish at times, over the top or just straight up make no sense.

What really annoyed me though is in the beginning it shows how when the main character woke up he wasn’t able to do simple things like walk and talk and he moved really slow. He had to work really hard by watching movies and walking on a treadmill to be able to do simple things like that before he went out into the city but when the villain of the show turned into a zombie on the last episode he was walking, talking, carrying people around and fighting? It really annoyed me because it was obvious they just through the original rules out of the window so that he could kidnap the female lead and there could be a cool zombie fight at the end. There are a couple inconsistencies like this littered through out the show so if you can watch it and enjoy it without really caring about it not being very clear I think it’s a fun little drama to watch to pass the time but I wouldn’t necessarily say I recommend it.

*****************************************************
::::::::STORY::::::::::

The feel of this series is quite like the novels of 'Danielle Steel' Probably because the novels were based on business, family heritage and struggle to keep the heritage.

Good collection of OST's, there are quite a few of them some are peppy and others soulful and melodious. Gong Jun, Zhong Chuxi and Wu Xuanyi, the actors playing prominent characters in this drama have each sung an(Wu Xuanyi sung two) OST in the series... My personal favorite is " Song of Faith" sung by Wu Xuanyi, very empowering lyrics for women.

::::::::::::::(Rising against the wind. Beginning with Jiang Hu (**)When rising with the wind, Zhaoyang(** )will be there for you. :::::::::::

**note? on meaning of Jiang Hu and zhaoyang at the end of review)

This is the story of Jiang Hu(Zhong Chuxi) who along with Zhaoyang(Wu Xuanyi) forges a new future for old brands.

The story starts with an ambitious investor Xu Si (Gong Jun) wishing to acquire, Industrial site of an old shoe brand 'Tengyue' for his land acquisition deal with Yuanfeng Logistics. Tengyue is a company under Free Unicorn group of companies managed by Jiang Qi Shen. Jiang Qi Shen's only daughter, Jiang Hu(zhong chuxi) the Apple of his eye whom he lovingly calls "little butterfly" wants to revive 'Tengyue' brand because the brand has deep connection with her family. 'Tengyue' company had been established by Jiang Hu's maternal grandfather and later her own father, Jiang Qi Shen became famous because of the Tengyue brand, however since the 1980's and 1990's, Jiang Qi Shen focused more on expanding the Free Unicorn Group of Companies which manufacturers clothing and shoes, Tengyue has just one product left and it is just a nostalgic reminder, rather than a profit making unit.

Xu Si tries to get a meeting with Jiang Qi Shen to discuss the sale of Tengyue's industrial site however is unsuccessful to get an appointment so Xu Si tries to approach Jiang Qi Shen through Jiang Hu. Jiang Hu has arranged a party at the factory of Tengyue inviting influencers to start her revival project. Xiang Zhaoyang (Wu Xuanyi) an award winning shoe designer at Aneda, moonlighting as a masked influencer who is also long time high school rival of Jiang Hu, is invited intentionally by Jiang Hu to be an influencer at this event. As per Jiang Hu's plan to boost her online sales of Tengyue shoes, another influencer present at the event exposes the real identity of Zhaoyang..... As a result Zhaoyang loses her job at Aneda due to non-compete agreement.
Soon after this event Jiang Hu's father dies due bad health compounded by sudden financial problems in his business, immediately leading to Free Unicorn being bankrupt. Jiang Hu falls to bad times and is now reviled and preyed upon by the same society vultures who at one time revered her... Jiang Hu decides to take charge of her life and in a desperate bid uses all her leftover inheritance money to buy the Shares of Tengyue and trademark for Tengyue shoes.

Jiang Hu decides to revive the 100 year old brand Tengyue, she shifts into factory premises.. She doesn't have funds to continue current manufacturing operations, She meets many challenges to revive the brand and she tackles those problems head on, she has to negotiate with Xu Si to allow her to continue operation at the industrial site of Tengyue that now belonged to his company purchased during the bankruptcy auction of free unicorn. She forms a new team of personnel:
*Yang Jian( Gao zhiting) and his merry band of boys operating online website help her with online sales at the starting of her company.
*Zhaoyang becomes the shoe designer for her company
* Ms.Yue from her father's old company joins in as Account manager
* Mr. Pei her maternal uncle becomes the production manger.
* Jiang Hu herself handles marketing and sales.
* Boss the old factory dog becomes her constant companion in this new journey

Jiang Hu with the help of her new team, overcomes various problems faced by an outdated brand... She successfully handles HR problems created by some old workers, redesigns the shoes, tackles the problem of distribution and sales by using innovative marketing strategies. Growing influence of e-commerce in current market scenario is highlighted in this drama. She continues to plod on by using the motivational quote "going against the wind".

Along the way she finds love, Xu Si... Makes new friends, Yang Jian and reconnects with her old rival turned BFF, Zhaoyang. This show has shown quite a realistic depiction(text book version) of business problems and their solution.

Besides Xu Si and Jiang Hu's love story there is also a secondary love story of Zhaoyang and Yang Jian, Zhaoyang's step brother who has been in love with Zhaoyang since last ten years.

As much as this is a story of the successful revival of an old brand in a new market, it is also a story of human connections and team building.

As per my understanding, this series is focusing on TWO business issues.

1. Growing impact of influencers and internet in generating sales of any product. It is necessary for old brands to use new methods to survive in current market.

2. Small old businesses shutting down due to lack of funds and lack of modern technologies that other big companies have at their disposal to manufacture more at cheaper rate due to having deep pockets and accessibility to mechanised impersonal technology......
Handmade, indigenous products and labourers are suffering.... Saving these business is another theme of this series. What a country needs not not few big brands but diversified national brands.

**************************************************
::::::::RELATIONSHIPS:::::::
First Leads
Gong Jun(XU Si) x Zhong Chuxi(Jiang Hu)
The headstrong CEO meets an arrogant daughter.. Their story is combustive with sparks flying everywhere, they have a spicy and confrontational love story. In the beginning there are lots of trust issues, Jiang Hu has been betrayed by people closest to her so it's quite difficult for her to trust an 'Investor' who might take away her company. Slowly their relationship transitions into reluctant partnership morphing into trust and finally love.

Second leads
Gao Zhi Ting(Yang Jian) x Wu Xuanyi(Xiang Zhaoyang)
Sweet designer with her step brother, they have known each other since childhood. Their story provides a breath of fresh air on a sunny day... Their love story is more tender. Yang Jian has always cared for zhaoyang. Standing like a rock beside her, ensuring she is safe, happy and silently removing all obstacles in her path. He showers his love by ensuring zhaoyang is always well fed, making delicious food, taking care of the household chores leaving her free to pursue her dreams, encouraging her creativity and progress.

BFFs; Zhong Chuxi (Jiang Hu) x Wu Xuanyi (Xiang zhaoyang)

Both these girls have known the other since high school. They are competitive to the extreme, they like the same food, music and both had a crush on Gao Yi. Due to zhaoyang's humble background and Jiang Hu's privileged upbringing there were lots of hostile situations causing friction between the girls in their earlier years.. After Jiang Hu lost her father and decided to revive 'Tengyue' shoes, she and zhaoyang a shoe designer who wanted to bring authentic chineses designs back in the market joined hands and became a formidable team, tackling all hardships and forging ahead in their own paths to success, achieving their personal goals while securing a glorious future for 'Tengyue'.

Both love stories provide a mix of sweet and spicy while all them together struggle to even the odds stacked against them...Also there is a plausible and realistic platonic relationship between Jiang Hu and Yang Jian who become confidants having trusting work relations because both have warm and outgoing personalities. Xu Si and Xiang Zhaoyang also share admiration for the other's ability, recognizing the other's capability but they always maintain a cool efficient business relationship due their reserved nature... All these relationships were in tandem till the 100 year anniversary of Tengyue (first 32 episodes) then suddenly lots of angst, non-communication made their relations seem strained and filled with lots of melodrama in the latter part of the series... But in episodes 39 and 40, concluding episodes the series tied everything in a pretty bow and gave a Happy Ending for both the couples.

**************************************************
::::::::ACTORS PLAYING THEIR CHARACTERS:::::::

Gong Jun playing Xu Si :
Gong Jun played the part of a dispassionate and shrewd investor quite well. He was able to display a wide range of emotions through his character. In the beginning his attitude was arrogant for the goal oriented Xu Si... Later in the series with the change in Xu Si's character, Gong Jun 's eyes reflected his turmoil, sadness and hurt. He also revealed during the promotional campaign for the drama and his own personality was quite introvert compared to Xu Si's extrovert nature, so as an actor he did a fabulous job.

Zhong Chuxi playing Jiang Hu:
Zhong Chuxi looks stunning as Jiang Hu the rich heiress who dresses in expensive designer shoes & dresses and drives a fast red car, she portrayed the haughty and imperious side of Jiang Hu 'To the T'. Her body language exuded her confidence, then she was equally believable as a 'fallen from grace' startup entrepreneur, who uses her wit and intelligence to forge ahead... .Zhong Chuxi's charming smile and genial attitude makes Jiang Hu's struggles to achieve success in business relatable.

Wu Xuanyi playing Xiang Zhaoyang:
Wu Xuanyi was remarkable in her depiction of Xiang Zhaoyang.. Zhaoyang with her tenacious nature, achieving success with her hardwork, appearing detached and indifferent but very warm hearted and loyal to the core. Wu Xuanyi successfully Portrayed the minimal expression of zhaoyang used to keeping her own counsel. Her demeanor was professional and reserved giving professional vibe. Body language was closed.. This is good acting because Wu Xuanyi in her real life is more of a vivacious, outgoing personality. As wu Xuanyi discussed in the promotional campaign she herself is an extrovert playing the role of an introvert zhaoyang. ( If you like wu Xuanyi, do read my highlights in the comment section of this review about, why I like Zhaoyang in spite of her imperfections. )

Gao Zhi Ting playing Yang Jian:
This is the first time, I am watching Gao Zhi Ting's work... His portrayal of Yang Jian is very candid.......When he smiles it is quite wholesome and genuine and his crestfallen face when Zhaoyang is not happy with him is full of emotions.... Gao Zhiting is a very natural actor, all emotions of his character are well conveyed through his face and body posture. He carries out "the boy next door" image quite well.

Honorable mentions
1. Wei zhe Ming who played the part of Gao Yi did not have much screen time but he managed to capture audience's attention with few scenes, his character was also a more distant personality, fre scenes that he had to showcase his emotions were with his wife... There his tearful anguish filled face evoked sympathy in viewer's heart.

2. Wen Zheng Rong who played the character of Yue Shan was brilliant in her ultra efficient, tolerate no nonsense manner suiting a woman who has spent majority of her life navigating the business world.

3. Morni Chang who played the character of Pei Zhi Yuan, a true veteran actor realistically brought to life the supportive maternal uncle of Jiang Hu who was equally miserly and opportunist while still retaining his love for his niece.

4. BOSS the dog was the showstopper, he was such a well trained animal, so many BTS of actors having a great time playing with him are uploaded on the net.. I don't know how the trainer manages to get the dog to display different postures and emotions at different time... For me BOSS was 'THE BOSS' of this series.

OVERALL: A unique drama depicting realistic business scenarios while superbly telling a story of revival of a brand and struggle of two ladies Jiang Hu and Zhaoyang, rising in their own spheres, defying the odds stacked against them., though after first 32 episodes things turn more melodramatic like a soap opera.... However the show got back on track in last two episodes 39 and 40 and managed to resolve the whole story in a satisfactory manner.....A must watch.

:::;:Note? on Jiang Hu and Zhaoyang meaning:::::

Zhaoyang means 'rising sun'(☀️).I did a little google Research on the name Jiang Hu, it is a bit more complicated to understand...... But simply speaking it translates to 'rivers and lakes' in terms of wuxia. The meaning of the name Jiang Hu, that I think is most suitable for this drama is a band of virtuous outcasts of society grouping to form their own parallel society with their own code of rules.... Isn't that what Jiang Hu is trying to achieve with Tengyue?? Bringing together a band of outcasts to form her own version of perfect society.
