✨️? - A MUST WATCH

Youth life is the most precious life. Youth is the best time. The way in which you utilize this period will decide the nature of coming years that lie ahead of you. - Swami Vivekananda

As rightly said by Swami Vivekananda and the moral of this series portrayed, YOUTH IS THE BEST TIME. The series revolves around a boy who wants to become a singer in a band but is fearing the burden from his parents who have hearing loss. He goes to the past to find out that it's is none's fault that life turns out how it is. We just live on with whatever happens around us.
This drama is a perfect epitome of what we want to see- romance, melodrama, lot of music, sadness and forgiveness. It's a powerful performance by all the artists who have worked in this series.

Can't say anything more than IT IS A MUST MUST WATCH. So if you haven't started this yet, don't wait. Just do it. You'll love it. ❤️

Decent option but.....

This series will always be that comfort series for anyone who needs a break from series with overwhelming plot and twists. This drama is something I enjoy even if it's not really taking off or climbing up my ranks. Well at least this one is decent than Gen Y.

I understood now how producers ruined the main leads in Gen Y particularly Pha and Wayo. The cheesy romance was there and the chemistry. You know what, I enjoyed MingKit more than the two I've mentioned earlier. Kimmon really did that. His face exudes cuteness overload and quirkiness. I adore his presence so much ugghffgh. Literally he's an eye candy. Tee is damn eye candy too, cuteness overload too!! Love their romance with Copter over God and Bas. Ngl I found God and Bas's portrayal a bit bland that's why Kimmon and Copter are the stars of the show. Moving forward, I enjoy how uncomplicated the story was.

Ok so here we are in my negative side territory. I never demanded anything surprising but the series really did a trope that I fkin hate: hateful biatches! These bitches always gossip and stalk Pha, being flirtatious which is really dragging. As they get on the screen, my blood is boiling like hell! I disliked that trope so much. They just exist to make Yo jealous and to make my blood boil, that's it. Not surprised by enemy to lover type of shit, I can live with that. Another con is Tae's portrayal of Forth is awful. Tae looked lifeless everytime he's on the scene. It felt tiring to see him there just having this poker face like man do something. It felt that casting him as Forth is a bad choice bcuz I never really felt his presence even if it's him and Bas in one frame. Moreover, ForthBeam never really developed even in its few last eps. Another silly con is that scene when Pha got out of car in front of the condo then he escorted Yo to the pharmacy walking. I mean, yow you have that car and it's raining, why don't u just drive him there. It's like grabbing a ladder to display and not use it.

So, to conclude it all, it's an okay series. Didn't quite understand the hype I'm hearing about this. But for what it is, I pretty enjoyed it.

Never Eclipsed My Heart

The Eclipse does not feature your standard school setting. No, instead, the school has a cult-like rule system the consequences of which dip into internalized homophobia and general dislike for people that are perceived as different. It is a social commentary twisting societal issues into a school setting with various gays we love--most prominently Akk and Ayan, with a side of Kan and Thua.
It's not that much of a light-hearted story--though it does have plenty of light-hearted and cute moments--but that's exactly why I loved The Eclipse so much.

Akk and Ayan are just perfect. Not that they don't have flaws--they do. I found Akk to be very intricately written with believable flaws and reasonings, despite how much I loved Ayan too. The writers weren't afraid to write actually opposite belief systems in characters that end up falling for each other, which I find doesn't happen often in BL or if it does, it is shallow.
I did wish Ayan had more involvement with the rebelling "The World Remembers", but it didn't otherwise detract too much from the story and romance.

On the topic of romance. I mean, with FirstKhao, chemistry is guaranteed, but watching these characters challenge each other and (unknowingly) grow closer was a real treat. They ended up so sweet and had plenty of kisses AND tension to share, as they evolved from outright hostility to playful bickering.

The side characters were also layered, though I cannot say that Kan/Thua really interested me in any way. FirstKhao definitely shone in the spotlight as they deserved, which meant that side characters, though important to the plot, simply couldn't reach AkkAyan's levels of interesting.

Rarely anyone ever mentions this in reviews as far as I've seen, so maybe I'm just an outlier, but the scenes where the school reinforces their rules--the cult-like scenes--made me so uncomfortable, all the while I pitied the students involved. Uncomfortable in the sense that it was creepy to witness! Brainwashing is scary! Every time I wished I could usher Akk away and lead him to a safe space instead.

But why the -0.5 star? Mainly because of Thua. He has a scene in one of the later episodes where he does something I despise and for which he doesn't deal with consequences I deem proper. I would've exiled him from my friends list for what he did. I won't go much into it for spoiler reasons, but yeah.
Another thing is also a spoiler-heavy plot twist/revelation regarding the villain character that I felt came out of nowhere and, though it did tie the mystery and plot together, felt a little underbuilt in the plot and lead-up.

Outside of the romance, FirstKhao are outstanding actors who can portray pain and hurt and tears and being conflicted believably. You'll at least understand their struggles and reasoning no matter what your instinctual gut reaction may be to some revelations.

If you're not into a slowly unravelling story that deals with various social issues in a cultish school, mainly internalized homophobia and restricting freedom of expression, then The Eclipse may be a sludge to get through. I personally loved the story and the characters and--well, almost everything--but I concur it's not for everyone.

Weak resolution & ending but the rest of the show works

The initial worry was that this would turn out to be another F4 Thailand-esque bully-redemption-arc type of story, but in the BL universe. If you’re reluctant to watch this because you think Kanghan’s character is going to be horribly problematic, well, I’d have to tell you that you’re kinda right. But it gets better real quick.

The first episodes are a hard(er) watch precisely because Kanghan’s character is downright insufferable and cringey. It’s nothing to do with Perth’s acting, mind you, but rather, demonstrating how Kanghan is in an awkward phase of his teenage life where he’s still processing his identity and self-worth.

Some commenters are quick to point out that Chimon doesn’t look like he’s too whipped for Perth, but I wouldn’t worry about this. The romance develops organically and has its sweet moments – more importantly, the actors are decent enough to carry the narrative.

It also has some pretty awesome side couples featuring Marc and Pawin. I’ve been following them since My Gear And Your Gown and I think they make a pretty good second couple.

In my opinion, though, the show also wasted a perfectly good opportunity to showcase more of Saifah and Name’s relationship, which had a completely different dynamic from Sailom and Kanghan.

This series considered as alternative reality which focus on different lead

For me this series is considered a alternative reality with the same ending as first GGS, but it's focus is on Wu Bai/DT, Han Shang Yan's cousin and his lovestory to Ai Qing/Appledog.

It's alternative reality for some reasons:
*The season one game competition is all about hackers game while season 2 is all about robotic game
*In some episodes we will see some scenes which doesn't exist in season 1..The storyline happens before and during the events of season 1,with some different scenes but with the same ending;to be exact an extended ending on what happen to season 1, like double wedding celebration of main characters of season 1 and 2..
*The female lead of season 1 is more like a noona personality, while season 2 is more like acting the same age as Wubai

Thailand-indian vibes are surprisingly dazzling!!!!!!

This is the most lovable and funny movie I would have immagined it could happening in thailand!!!!!! the acting and cinematography so well done and performed full of vivid colors, I should say it is SO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I am in love with the mixture of thailand and indian acting, it will be unforgettable for me "against the first review mentioned being forgettable"!!!!

This movie is so different from all the traditional thailand lakorns as there is a rare and few carrying this funny and comedic side, thailand lakorns are all known about dramatically speaking with so much tragedy and violence but this movie will make another new conception of the funny thailand shows!!!!!!

It was a great idea to portray the break up and reunion of all exes in this light and funny way that most of thailand shows are missing in their actings, this show should be more appreciated and rated more highly, I wish it will be more renowned in future as it is just today released.

Risa carried all the show and she performed well in this movie with her amazing dance with all the people thailand and indian around her was so fascinating and her english talking was not bad and her feelings when thrown in her exs hands was greatly acted as it was the core of the subject of movie, she will not confess her weakness just hiring Tim her other second ex to have the pride as she is not in need of Arun "first ex of Risa" but deeply she needed Tim without knowing this fact.

Tim could have been better, he was little dull and boring but as paired with Risa was a great combination of acting and was her healing from her numerous break ups, he was so good in sword duel and saving Arun's father as said "jack of all trades" and "hero" so well said by Risa, he didn't have the audacity to confess to her but just making fun of her was too not bad to add more for this comedic show, he too carried all the show with risa in the dancing scene, I loved them being together to the end and how they pretended they came back together to save her being weak in front of Arun and how Risa threw Tim in water as pissed her of!!!!

Arun on the other side was so greatly choosen as the indian guy boyfriend of Risa and I liked when he backed up to not commit a mistake against Monica when approaching Risa in a wrong moment, Monica his bride to be as the other was too cute and well choosen as him, he is careless guy who left Risa and surprised to meet her again as his wedding organiser and treat her as an old friend but all the indian actors here was so suitable and well combined with the thailand one.

Risa's gang friends Jan and Offy was too funny and loving when portraying the story of Risa's break ups in their rap song amazingly done.

I would recommend SO STRONGLY this amazing movie, the way Risa moved from Arun after the mostly laughable truck scene, when Monica caught Arun will fall in mistake with Risa when reminiscing their old memories, they convert the dramatic moment to a funny one this is when I FALL IN LOVE THE MOST WITH THIS UNPRECENTED MOVIE, it was too when enjoying the dancing and happy colorfully moments of traditional indian wedding!!!! Everyone is lovable and really so worthy to watch it for a great time to choose this magnificent movie.

JUST GIVE IT A TRY and you will not regret it at all, I wish it will get more high marks and pleasure from all watchers, it was a great option to watch after being in a drama slump, you will be transferred to another happy world, forgetting your surrounding the moment you will click play!!!!!

It may not be boring for fans of slice of life genres, but this is not my cup of tea.

Jung Da Eun is transferred to the psychiatric ward of her hospital, she tries her best learning how to help and care for her patients. Disclaimer: I don’t have the experience nor knowledge on the subject matters so there will be no commentary on whether the portrayal regarding the mental health issues is relatable, accurate or not. But I would not recommend it to anyone struggling with their mental health, as the graphic depiction of self-harm and suicide might be triggering.

First impression, the drama seems to be an exact opposite of Daily Dose of Sunshine, it’s more like Daily Dose of Chaos. As the story unfolds, the trauma and mental health problem of everyone is shown, not only patients but also the caregivers. You'll follow these characters through their rollercoaster of emotions, some hitting their sunshine moments, while others navigating their twists and turns. I find the show is unique in showing the hallucinations from the patients’ perspective, some are quite comedic.

With the pacing, I honestly feel bored upon the halfway mark, but it may not be boring if you can relate with the characters emotionally, I just find it lacks engaging moments. Also, the solutions for the patients’ issues feels oversimplified, that their problems are solved with new habits, simple actions or short conversations, while often recovery needs time, even with all the desperate efforts. I get that it want to show good arcs and delivers feel-good vibes by the ending though… Or else, it might be too depressing to watch.

If you can forgive the repetitive plot in the middle, it's overall a decent watch

TLDR: Starts off good, makes you scratch your head in the middle and picks up again towards the end. Overall, it's worth watching for the acting, the cute scenes between the lead couple and the twins, and the love story between the leads

It’s going to be a long review if you’re up for it:

The Good:
Namwhan and Denkhun are just so adorable as an onscreen couple! They were the reason I even started on this drama.

Namwhan. God, every time Pim cries, she gets me. Namwhan is crazy talented in acting, especially in emotional scenes. I love the fact that Pim is so different from Min (her role in Doctor Detective which was airing concurrently).

She visibly matures over the course of the drama, especially as she starts caring for the twins. Not that her entire persona revolved around becoming a motherly figure but it was relatively important. The only thing that kept me watching during the middle was just her scenes with the twins.

Denkhun. Another gem, I swear. His body…I mean, he’s doing really good as Saran too. The way he stares at Pim like she’s the most precious and sweetest thing on earth but also the bane of his existence one second later. Nothing about him being Saran feels fake.

He really was the constant in Pim’s life after her grandfather’s death and gave his all to protect Pim from Tin. His love for the twins and decision to take responsibility for them was indeed touching.

Mafeuang and Mafai. OH MY GOD. They are literally the cutest living creatures in this entire drama. Whenever the plot goes haywire, the twins appear to save the day. The way they scream “Daddy” and “P’Pim” just melts my soul. They’re wise beyond their age and know when to speak up for Pim and themselves, which just makes them even more endearing.

The twins have never doubted Pim’s love for them and it’s obvious that they really love Pim as their mother. They shower her with kisses and hugs that can melt anyone’s heart. Not to mention that they break into the most American-accented English here and there.

The helpers in the family. Seriously, every helper is so aware of the family dynamics and how much an ass Orn is, I love it. The comedic element they add is always on point. The older couple, the younger couple and the nanny are all big Pim fans, which is just perfect.

Lada was the only one from the spoilt rich gang that I loved wholeheartedly. She loves Danai but never loses her sanity from that. She cares genuinely for Pim and knocks sense into Nai when he gets blindsided.

The Bad:
Pim is 19-20 years in this drama so it might be good if you avoid going in expecting a really mature FL that knows what’s up. She may be a little frustrating at the start with the way she doubts Saran but given the fact that she lost her parents and grandfather and that her brother sold her to some thug, she’s doing the best she can.

For a good 10 episodes in the middle, she just gets herself kidnapped and needs Saran to come save her from Tin. And even when it’s obvious that her brother is just a selfish jerk and Saran is the actual one caring for her. For the love of sheep, it made everyone watching really frustrated.

That brings me to Saran. Make up your mind, Sir. Either you treat Pim like the girl you really love and cut Orn off totally or you don’t get mad when Danai comes in. You don’t save Pim from Tin all the time and then scream at her for flirting or running away. Orn thinks she had a chance because you don’t make things clear. He’s trying to play the ‘bad boy’ at the start with Pim, acting all tough but fails to realise that Pim is 19. If you keep letting Orn hang onto you like a leech (in Mafaueng’s words), of course Pim isn’t going to trust you as a contract husband.

If he didn’t wake up and treat Pim properly, I would have been the one hitting him.

Aunt Chuda. Your typical aunt/rich madame who is blinded by the ‘nice, rich girl’ that you want for your nephew. It was tiring to see her keep trying to chase Pim away just because she’s poor and from an ‘unknown’ background. Thank goodness she saw how much Pim and Saran loved each other at the end.

The In-Between:
Orn and Thinnamai. Your usual antagonists are doing decent Actually, I think they make a pretty hot ‘thug couple’. It’s obvious that he’s in love with her and will do anything that she asks…until he decides to take advantage of her when she’s drunk. I hated Orn but when Tin threatened her, I couldn’t help but feel pity. I’m glad that these two had some kind of closure, even though it was just a convenient plotline.

Danai. I thought he was just an innocent guy who genuinely liked Pim. But he kind of lost his innocence half-way and when he joined hands with Tin to target Saran, it was just disappointing. Him offering to take Saran’s place when Pim had nowhere to go was an eye-roll moment as well. Lada deserved better (to some extent) but I’m glad Lada managed to steer him back in time.

Overall:
A few eye-rolls here and there for the repetitive plot but it was a nice story that covered a few areas like Pim’s growth, her love story with Saran and just her finding a new family. The writing could have been tighter but nonetheless, the last few episodes were pretty good and the ending was beautiful.

I may be a little generous with the ratings but the drama did pretty good in terms of local ratings so I guess that's a win.

Much ado about nothing

What a disappointment....
I had high expectations from this drama, because of casting Bai LU and Dylan Wang...
In beginning; it was lit bit interesting, but FL character was a let down. She is a smart, talented new generation journalist. What she is doing,l lying, acting like a dumb taking all the wrong suggestion from a friend .Who herself is confused about her relationship.
Story is slow and boring; scenes were repetitive.Onscreen chemistry is not there between main characters; felt more like shooting formalities. Three ML does look powerful onscreen; especially Dylan as CEO walking making a grand entry..don't feel his power as CEO. Basically, everyone fro0m FL boss to FL to FL so called idiotic best friend relationship is mess ...
24 episodes ; everything is still dragging... Felt boreed

It really is like a cool watermelon that you eat on a scorching day

I actually know this drama by chances after seeing some review of them in twitters. I think it’s one of my best decisions that i actually decided to watch this. I actually had a rough time from this past months after my grandmother passed away and with many other problems in my workspace. But this drama cheered me up so much and gave me the strength i need in my weakest state and made me look forward to monday-tuesday that usually not my favorite days.

If you guys searching for a comforting and heartfelt drama with so much meaning in them then this drama is the one for you. It makes you reminisce your youth and give you reasons not to give up on your dreams! As expected from our genius screenwriter Jin Soowan-nim!! (She also wrote Kill Me Heal Me, The Moon that Embraces the Sun, and Chicago Typewriter).

And not to forget the casts!!! Oh my god the casts are insane, they really ate and left no crumbs ?. I really love the chemistry between the four of them!! How chaotic but inspiring Yi Chan and Eun Gyeol, how lovely and pure Cheong Ah and Yi Chan, how silly but reliable Eun Gyeol and Eun Yoo, and our underated pair Cheong Ah and Eun Yoo that need more screentime because both of them look so cute together. And i really love how chaotic Watermelon Sugar are!!. I really am going to need a very very long time to move on from all of them and this beautiful drama. I really look forward to these actors and actresses future projects because all of them are just that good in acting. Thank you and love you Twinkling Watermelon!!! ?♥️??

Forget about Itazura na Kiss before watching it

This story shouldn't be seen as a remake of Itazura na Kiss. Even though the premise and some events are similar, thinking of the original story is going to spoil this one for you.

The Male Lead is a very different person from Irie. Irie is socially awkward to the point of autistic, but Tenten is simply a jerk. His behaviour doesn't stem from his emotional incapacity. He's just prejudiced towards the FL due to their past experience and their intellectual incapability. Irie will always be awkward, even after marriage, because that's what he is. Tenten can be loving and charming if he chooses so. Understanding the difference between the two characters will make the story more palatable, esp. in the last quarter when Tenten chooses another woman not because he has to sacrifice himself for his father's company but simply because he thinks the other woman might be a better match for him.

Thus said, it is interesting to see how he falls in love with the FL "against his better judgement", esp. that Mike Angelo can portray emotions really well. Kudos to Aom Sushar Manaying as well. Both are great actors with sparkling chemistry between them.

The story has that premise that makes me interested and curious as a viewer. The first episodes were nice and also engaging in introducing the characters. I think how the story was portrayed and the mysteries that is in the story was not well executed in terms of pacing since it feels like that it was all jumbled.
I don't have anything against the cast, I think they are all brilliant. The female lead is really charming. She carried her role so well, she is a really great actress. The male lead is fine with me. The second couple, sadly did not have the chemistry that I was looking for. I watch this about 2 episodes per day and I can't remember most of the how the drama went out because it is forgettable especially at the last parts. It's just a so-so drama for me.

Fun and Forgettable watch!!!

First things first... I'm an Indian and I should mention this because this review will be from that POV....Now , if you are someone who doesn't want to watch a movie without giving much thought to it then this is that perfect afternoon watch for you. Now coming to the,
1. Story Plot : As given it is not something with that much depth and along the movie none of the characters have any major development and you can almost ignore the side characters because they are present there for some reason which you can very well avoid. You can avoid them just like the writers avoided a lot of serious stuffs in a comedic manner which by the way is not something you need to brush off. It was something that Thai industry does ignoring some major societal issues.

2. Setting : Apart from the actors and the prime location nothing is Thai but is it Indian ?! NO They took the Indian wedding theme and did research a lot I guess because you will feel that you are viewing an Indian Wedding (a blah one ofcourse). Also then somehow you will also get a touch of K-dramas because of its all cute scenes and expressions.

3. Acting: Bright is someone who knows what he is required to do and does the job accordingly , there is very little that he adds on his own but as he has his own charm , it does the job and I like him on screen coming to Bella , she was literally forced to speak English (I know she is Thai but half British) and if she can't speak English that we'll writers could have done something to it rather than just going with the flow of that very bad accent. Now Mahir and Anahita are a known name in Indian Television and they were pretty much on the same page as the story and everything given that they are Indian and they know what's next.

4. Music : Here! I loved that scene and also Anahita talked so much about it that at one point I was waiting for this scene. It was well executed with a pretty good dance to go along and also Bright danced to an Indian song ... I'm happy!

5. Climax : The chase scene was hilarious. No doubt that made me feel like okay this is an Indian comedy movie and it gave a nostalgia of 90s comedy movies . It was a fun watch.

OVERALL:
This was movie with a cliche plot but fun to watch. It's just that there's a very little meat to the bone . It's a good watch in a lazy afternoon where you can have a good laugh even thinking about your ex!

This is my personal view on this Indo-Thai take, please note that I'm Indian and I looked at this entire thing from that POV. If you are someone who is new to this entire setting them it will obviously blow your mind it's cute. Happy Watching!

worth it to watch

perfect story and acting.
