Wow. Like, legit.

This show was good. Really good. I knew in the first 3 minutes I was in for a treat. GREAT acting, plot, music. Great cast all around. Such a vivid and believable setting.

Loved Jet and Charn. LOVED those two together. I really wish we saw them married but gah, they were actually my favorite. Tle and FirstOne are AMAZING.

Now Peem and Khem. Interesting relationship. I wanted to love it but I was kinda confused. Can they not be intimate? Even at the end they were kind of awkward together. I felt like these two deserved a bit more in the end. Keng and Namping, however, NAILED the roles. God, these guys were gorgeous.

All the cast was gorgeous. I love how quirky and lively Thai culture is. I can't wait to see more from these guys.

You Need to Watch This as a Comedy Drama

Honestly I was also a bit bothered by how inaccurate some of the props were in this drama, and how unserious a lot of things felt 😭 like the male lead sucking on a lollipop… did lollipops even exist in that era? And don’t get me started on the female lead’s nail art 😭 plus there were so many random scene cuts out of nowhere. But then I realized this is pure comedy hahaha, that’s why it feels kinda unserious. If I had treated it as a comedy genre from the start, I’d honestly give it a 9/10 because it was genuinely so funny. Even though it felt random and chaotic sometimes, they still didn’t lose the storyline. Rewatch value will be perfect to see the cast are beautiful hehe

Sexxy Rom-com With So Much Sense

ENEMIES WITH BENEFITS' episode 1 already has underwear-shedding scenes! Could it get any more promising than THAT?! So! What do future episodes have in store?!!? WE ARE ALL EGGGGGZOITTTTED 😬🄹😜😁🄳 My Jingjing heart is happy, but Jan is a darn good actress too. They're like two warring peas inside a very sexy pod!

ENEMIES WITH BENEFITS ep 5 has all "the feels" - up, down, left, right.... Just like a real relationship! Haha haha

"Friends with benefits", "situationship", "no label"... Everybody thinks that THAT's more convenient? Na-ah!! Eventually, you overthink, you overfeel, you go on overdrive and the FWB status implodes on itself because real feelings start kicking in.

EWB episode 5 shows that people are selfish, all right, that's a fact. But human nature is all about nurturing and concern and paying attention and caring for one another....

Wine and Lal as team leaders is a clear reflection of what they are as persons: They aren't self-centered beeyatcherz like New, or insensitive pricks like Proud; they're good people who are sometimes caught in bad circumstances. Like all of us are in the real world, y'know....

So! Lal and Wine are gonna be in for the worst (and hopefully, for the best too), but it looks like they'll be fine.

As for the Ciize-Kapook plot twist, it sure seems like THAT will be bad girl vs good girl mayhem, chaotic AF! Haha haha

Who's to judge who's good and who's bad?!

Six students, one teacher, one word: SNAFU. System normal, all ***ked up.... Do you guys watch SHADES? If you do, you'd understand my giddy admiration for this series. If you don't, oh my goodness, WATCH IT like it's the last show you'd ever watch!! Binge-watch episodes 1-5 & you'll get it: Every aspect of this dang show is so dang great on every dang level! Every episode gets better and better and better.... The back-stories. The character development. The direction. The acting. The whole production is a testament to intelligent storytelling! It is never easy to balance things perfectly with an ensemble cast - SHADES makes it look like a walk in a park: A park with criss-crossed meandering roads that lead to a deviously delicious hodgepodge of complications and consequences! 11 stars out of 10.

The deliciously chaotic, irresistibly wicked SHADES aired its cliffhanger of an episode 6, and apparently Season 2 would come out in 2027!šŸ„²šŸ˜…šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

What an excruciatingly painful wait!! šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ„°šŸ˜šŸ˜˜šŸ’Æā¤ļøšŸ‡¹šŸ‡

I am absolutely SPEECHLESS

I didn’t have high hopes for this at all. I’m not even that into bromances usually, but this is just on a whole different level. It’s not just a show, it’s literally ART. The quality and the vibes just blew me away and I’m officially obsessed.

I’m so glad I gave it a chance because it’s a total gem. The chemistry is insane… seriously, if this was a full BL it would be the absolute PEAK of the genre, no doubt about it. 10/10 for me so far. If you're looking for something that actually feels high-quality and keeps you hooked from the first minute, this is it. Don't even think about it, just watch it! I’m still processing how good this was

Willy was the best character this season!

I must say I was so confused as to why there would be a s2 when i think s1 ended well but i enjoyed it immediately thanks to willy... in my opinion he made this season so fun and he was the only reason why i kept watching (besides alan and jeff), so once he started to get less and less screen time in the last episodes i couldn't help but feel sad even if it was understandable.

I think Charlie getting amnesia was not necessary at all but i'm glad we were able to have a happy ending (bonus points for the wedding and how everyone and their mother was gay LMFAO).
Production definitely got soooo much better compared to s1 so i think thats also why i was able to enjoy it more.
It was entertaining regardless of everything else!

Chaotic, fun, and a good laugh

I started this show because of clips that I've seen around social media, and wondered what it was. When I saw that it was a Thai version of Running Man, I was thrilled.
Lost count of the times I stopped breathing from laughing too hard, this show is just so chaotic and funny!
Seeing some of the actors/ singers that I watched before being so cunning and mischievous was a little surprising. I never would have imagined them behaving like that, but I guess you have to do whatever it is to survive, right?
I definitely had a good time going through these 10 episodes and I hope that they have a second season. It was just so much fun seeing everyone be themselves and have fun!

Error! Error!

Wow! What a ride! I binged it. Very addictive like the first. I love the continuity. The only thing that annoyed me was her preference for Babi. I just can't warm up to the guy and his kissing is very forced! I'm unapologetically team Woong! She did him wrong on so many levels. He's a hundred times more handsome, sweeter & move lovable! Babi seems to be a manipulator.
Red flag city! There was more delving into side characters with this season. I especially liked the editor's cells that were extremely handsome and hilarious, and with Control Z & Ruby's coupling. I must say it was pretty routine in the beginning, was not enjoying Yumi & Babi's relationship up until Woong showed up, and then it got really fun all of a sudden, but you have to wait a while. I can't believe they sidelined him into a clown role after his made his main entrance, it's really unfair. Yumi has terrible judgement. She says towards the end that she didn't know she could continue the connection after break-up, yeah why lady? It's because men won't hang around you if their not interested, and if they had girlfriends there sure as hell wouldn't be any contact, remember she wasn't that keen on their female friends. I find it really hard to believe that they didn't date anyone else after she broke-up with them. They're men, they're not going to hang around waiting, but this is written to fulfil female fantasy after all. Let's face it, it's usually the other way round and one man usually having two women fighting over him in reality. Women would be lucky to even get one to love them so much. Ah, such a waste! Anyway roll on season 3... Let's see what hunk she's reeled in this time...

A good show that could be better

In general it’s a good show. A fun ride that you enjoy the story the ending and the drama but there were a few things that I didn’t really like about the show
1- first of all for me the show kinda feels like it’s dragged. Imo they could finish the story with 12-13 episodes and the changes wouldn’t be noticeable
2- it should put more focus on the side romances. I would have liked the show more if it had put more focus on the side romances, adding more details to their love stories and characters. Especially one of them that was mentioned in the very last episodes could be done so much better
3- beside the main love story other aspects of the story kinda feel short to me. In fact the main love story could be felt in almost all episodes while the other elements/arcs didn’t have much detail. It’s also the reason that I felt the show is dragged and could be shorter is the same. Extra unnecessary focus on the love story which were done/almost done many many episodes before the actual ending of the show

I really enjoyed this

I really enjoyed this one. Of course, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't like the trailer but it was still good. The story, the fact that Joss was a vampire and a nice looking one at that. I mean, Joss is so gorgeous to look at and he's great at acting . I also love the fact that he was paired with Gawin as they have great chemistry together. Then, Neo was in this and I love Neo's acting. In any show Neo is in, he has great chemistry with whoever and whatever show he's acting in. Heck Neo's chemistry is so good that he could have good chemistry with a spoon! And let me not forget about Mond being a vampire in this! He is good looking as well. To me, whole series was a smorgasbord of eye candy!

The acting, the plot, the pairings and everything about it to me was just excellent! If I had to say, the most disappointing part about this series is when the character Neo portrayed was killed. My mind was screaming, "We got all these good looking vampires around make him one too! He'd just be another addition to the good-looking vampire club," as he was dying, but he wasn't made into one, which I felt was a waste.

I would recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a fluffy, yet spicy BL with a good plot and tons of eye candy. Not to mention vampires; good looking vampires!

Terrible

At first, my initial, shallow reaction was pure annoyance with the costumes, the sets, and the overall ugly aesthetic of the entire series (did you see IU's clothes, nails and her ROOM? my gosh..), even the boring emptless look in the prince's eyes. (This actually made me start to rewatch Lovely Runner so I could feel some warmth looking at him again). He seems so naive and fragile sometimes that is annoying. This is an absolutely terrible drama, with warped social views and incredibly superficial portrayals of humanity. The worst part, though, is how they keep trying to frame the prince as endlessly physically desirable while giving him zero intellectual depth at all, it’s just plain boring.

If you look close there are so many low quality copies from Crash Landing on You, I think they tried to portrait the same family mess with an illegimate daughter who is arrogant, rich, and strong woman, but they failed a lot on doing so, Yoon Se-ri has a unique personality and the drama is much more well written. For the lead man, I think they tried to follow the Lovely Runner script in so many levels, even the phrases, the scenes also badly copied and it looks like BWS is trying hard to make it look different, but honestly the writters and directors made terrible jobs.

I genuinely love IU and Byeon Woo-seok, but the writers and director are truly disappointing.
It feels like such a cheap production, as if they poured all their budget into casting these two leads and had nothing left to hire better behind-the-scenes professionals. I’m honestly even embarrassed for them. Coming right after Lovely Runner and When Life Gives You Tangerines, this show is honestly downright cringeworthy by comparison.

Crime, Time Travel, and Surprisingly Comforting Chaos

Tunnel was recommended to me by an MDL friend after I mentioned how much I gravitate toward crime thrillers, and thankfully, it absolutely delivered. Plus, it was really nice seeing Choi JinHyuk again since it’s been a while since I last watched one of his dramas. He fits this type of role so naturally that I got hooked almost immediately.

The premise alone is already interesting. Trying to catch a serial killer across different timelines? Instant intrigue. Watching people from the past and present collide by pure chance made the story even more exciting, even if realistically the probability is ridiculously low. But honestly, that’s part of the charm of fiction. Time travel is always a risky genre for me because the ending can either make everything brilliant or completely fall apart. Thankfully, Tunnel landed somewhere comfortably in the middle. It gave me enough closure to stop myself from spiraling into overanalysis mode. Sure, there are probably dozens of timeline ripple effects left unanswered, but I’m willing to look past them for the sake of the overall experience.

What surprised me most is that despite revolving around serial killings, it never felt unbearably heavy. Somehow, the drama still carried warmth and comfort beneath all the suspense. It kept me engaged without leaving me emotionally drained or paranoid afterward, which honestly feels rare for this genre. If you’re looking for a crime thriller with an interesting twist that’s thrilling without becoming emotionally exhausting, I’d definitely recommend Tunnel.

THIS WAS VERY LACKING!

This had the potential to be so much better than it was! First of all, just let me say that I'm not a fan of Boun/Prem; I never have been but this was not the reason for the ratings I picked. I don't really know what to say about this show. It was so bad that it's left me literally speechless as to what to write about it, but I'll try to say what I think about this show in so many words....

Second the acting; I may not be a fan of the main pairing but I've seen them act before and I do think they have excellent acting skills but their acting skills were wasted on this series. The main issue I have with the main pairing is their kissing scenes. They've never been good with their intimate scenes. As a matter of fact, everybody's acting skills were wasted on this series and some of the cast members were not very good in their acting in this series. It looked fake, the fight scenes were terrible and I was trying to give this show the benefit of the doubt after I read some of the reviews and needless to say, a lot of the reviews I read about this show were spot on. This really was pretty bad. I really don't know how to explain how bad this was. I only watched it for one reason and I'm not going to say what that is because it would spoil it and it was the only reason I finished it.

Third the story; it felt like it was jumping each episode; like there were pieces missing in every episode that came after the first episode. I was having a difficult time following it. Some parts of it did not make sense. It was like the story was just rushed as if there was no thought put into it when it had so much potential to be better than this; with better acting, maybe a different cast and better plot. I liked all the cast members they chose for this series except for the main pairing because I've never been a fan of them, but it really felt rushed. It took everything in my power to finish watching this and not fall asleep.

Someone else might enjoy this series. I didn't but that doesn't mean someone else won't. It just didn't tickle my fancy and I'm a BL lover.

Dragon Deity and Wu

Veil of Shadows was introduced as a story centered around the Tenth Dragon Son, but in my opinion, the true heart of the drama belonged to the Dragon Deity Ji Ling and the nine-tailed fox Lu Wuyi. From beginning to end, their storyline carried the deepest emotion, the greatest sacrifice, and the most unforgettable heartbreak.

Ji Ling’s character was, without question, the most touching and tragic part of the entire drama. His journey as the Dragon Deity—caught between duty, fate, love, and endless sacrifice—was beautifully written. Every layer of his identity, from Ji Ling to the Dragon Deity himself, revealed more pain and loneliness, making his story incredibly powerful. His love for Lu Wuyi was not loud or simple; it was quiet, heavy, and filled with the kind of sorrow that stays with you long after the final episode ends.

Lu Wuyi, as the youngest nine-tailed fox, brought both strength and softness to the story. Her connection with Ji Ling felt fated, yet cursed by circumstances neither of them could escape. Their relationship was not just romance—it was longing, protection, memory, and loss. Every scene between them felt meaningful, and their chemistry made the emotional moments hit even harder.

The drama itself was captivating and extremely well written. The script gave depth to every major character, but especially Ji Ling. The director handled every scene with precision and emotion, never wasting a moment. From episode 1 to episode 29, there was never a dull point or a moment where you did not want more. Each episode revealed something important, and the pacing kept the audience fully invested.

The cinematography, costumes, and fantasy elements added even more beauty to the storytelling. The world felt rich and immersive, and the emotional scenes were made even stronger by the visuals and music. Nothing felt rushed or empty—the drama gave romance, pain, betrayal, sacrifice, and destiny all in one complete story.

While many may focus on the Tenth Dragon Son’s plotline, for me, Veil of Shadows will always belong to Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi. Their story was the soul of the drama. It was beautiful, painful, and unforgettable. Ji Ling’s ending especially leaves a deep ache—one of those rare characters whose sadness feels real even after the drama is over.

Out of all the storylines, theirs was the most moving and the saddest. Veil of Shadows is not just a fantasy romance drama—it is a story about love that survives through suffering, and that is what made it truly special.

Really Gone Downhill

Was this movie even necessary? This show is so obsessed with marriage and weddings and idolizes the whole ordeal and puts it up on a pedestal. And then going to get married or honeymoon (do the writers even know the difference?) in Rome? Ok but then there’s this weird side story about Bucho getting faux-kidnapped but he’s really doing dance sessions in secret while cross dressing with a guy? And Hotaru thinks he’s kidnapped and goes all over Rome trying to find the dude and then she finds him having a jolly old time at some wedding and doesn’t care that she’s risked her life for him to save him because she thinks he’s kidnapped. But he just gives her a hug.. why didn’t he tell her where he was going? This part was so weird. And then the side story of Rio, the fellow Japanese Himono Onna who has become a lying, manipulative mess of a woman because her husband and kid died in an accident, so basically she’s turned into a shell of a person, a zombie if you will. I’ve seen this theme in many of the lower tier J Dramas- the idea that if a woman loses her husband and kid, they just turn into a shell of a human being, and zombified (the other series that does this is I’m Mita, Your Housekeeper). It’s a pathetic message to send to women that without your husband and kid, you’re nothing. Anyway, then these two Hotaru and Bucho get married in a Catholic Church with a priest who they don’t understand nor does he understand them. Is the marriage even valid? And then they come back home and Hotaru seems to be pregnant. YAWN. Same tired old story trying to glorify marriage and breeding. What garbage. Not impressed.
