Nicely done

I loved every moment of this and then it lulled. Only one reason: length. Beautiful concept. Great acting. Humorous. Playful, light but emotional. It was good, not denying this, but carrying it to this length waned the enthusiasm. The broken phase lasted too long. This is not to say that forgiveness should be given easily but a bit more concisely.

I have no fault with any of the actors. The old and new cp did well. I will say the series benefitted with Louis in that role. He made the moments a bit more enjoyable. Poon has a way of being adorable even when he's not trying. Ohm a better fit for Poon but still he lacks the chaotic energy to make them perfect. Mark and Junior still good but I will like to see them 'youthful'. The dress code used here aged them rather than refined.

Storyline: I struggled to forgive Tim more than Yu. Yu tried his best to make North happy, giving him what he needed. Tim kept inserting himself in Pai's life without allowing him the space to heal or giving him reasons to forgive. Pai's love for him, as he met his emotional needs, was really the reason for their reconciliation. Yu became a scammer as he was trained to do so and out of necessity. Tim chose this as an easy out to keep his family home and bring his family back. Ironically, they didn’t want it. I felt his pain but I didn't feel the remorse.

The ending was nice without dragging on. A good watch

I can’t believe it’s over!

One guy chasing the affections of another is so standard but this show does it in such a soft and meaningful way that it can’t help but renew my faith in love. Duang remains respectful and careful of Qin’s boundaries the entire journey. I dread the miscommunication trope but this show doesn’t drag it on and on to the point of pulling out my hair. I don’t know what I’ll do with my Saturdays not that it’s over. My only complaint is that we didn’t get TongPae and I was desperate for more JamieMarvis.

Boring. Completely lacking seductive vibes.

Unbelievably boring. Not sexy like the Korean version at all. The FL lacks the pulling vibe. And even with Ryusei here, he doesn't bring any sex appeal. Their sex and kissing scenes feel dull. If the story aims for seductive vibes like what the Korean version does, this version falls far short of delivering them.

Enjoyable overall

I almost clicked off the first 2 eps multiple times. The story just didn't suck me in, I would feel the urge to skip ahead or stop watching. I'm glad I stuck with it in the end, it started getting good for me in ep3 and the series as a whole was enjoyable. I do wish the secondary couple had an on screen declaration though but I still enjoyed their story. Not gonna lie, the English did cringe me out a bit, but I think people on the internet are making way too big of a deal over it. It truly didn't impact the story that much.

Did Somebody say GREEN FLAG!!

So everyone is obsessed with TeeteePor now right? It's not just me...

I’m so sad this series is over, idk what to say other than everyone needs to watch this. This was such a cute drama that portrayed one of the most healthiest relationships I've ever seen. Idk why I can't rate it a 9 right now but watch me come back in a couple days and change my rating lol.

Duang is a GREEN flag like green forest. I loved the way he respectfully pursued Qin, gave him space, took the time to understand him before they even started dating. Where can I find myself a Duang cause boy is in LOVE!! Not only is he head over heels he's also an amazing friend?? Like hello I loved his character so much and the fact that it felt like it was just Teetee playing himself I loved that even more.

I relate to Qin a lot, being closed off and not trusting. Building those walls etc. so it made me love it even more when he slowly started opening up to Duang and how Duang never forced him to be anything but himself. He took that time, put in the work and gained Qin's trust. To see Qin just absolutely smitten in the end too and happy and smiling made me want to cry, he deserves all the happiness and I’m so glad he found that in Duang.

This drama was filled with so many rewatchable moments for me, they're so cute and I really hope we get a special episode or second season lol. I honestly feel like a second season could be happening fr because no way we don't get to pursue Jamie and Marvis' characters more and who is Pae dating??? So many unanswered questions, so I’m hoping and praying for a second season cause I LOVED NorthOtto so gimme more!!

2. sezonu gelmeli

Light and Fluff BL Romance

If you want something light and fluff, or you are someone who is hopeless romantic? I highly recommend this series.

Not the best but still Good! Actually, I've never been so downbad like this in any series before. I might probably be in the past, but I've never rewatched a series while it's still ongoing for like 3 times already, unlike this lol.

So to start, I watched this series because of Por cuz I'm so obsessed with him during Your Sky. I'm not really hooked at first because what the hell is Duang? He looked so very weird to me, cringe and unique? Something like that. If you watch it for the first time, you would probably find him weird at first. But I decided to stay, because as the story progressed, I found Duang cute, lovable and how he is so very green!

The story was amazingly crafted. It really shows how slow burn love is beautiful. It's about Duang persistently pursuing Qin, it's very wholesome, cringe (but in a good way), cute, and addictive. Duang is a golden retriever coded meanwhile Qin is the black cat coded (so you already imagine what it looks like right?)

The Acting? Is just soooo good! Not just TeeteePor, but also the other characters who also add bright colors to the story. Teetee is Duang, Duang is Teetee, to understand, Teetee acts as if he is the character itself. Duang's cringeness is something, but Teetee delivers it very well. The emotions? He's very good at it. You can really feel it whatever emotions he wants to convey. As for Por, I am also very amazed how he acts as Qin. Qin doesn't have a lot of dialogues since of course as a black cat, very introverted and so on, so he only relies on face expression, and he really did it well. As for their chemistry, they're really meant to be. There's no awkwardness at all and the way they look to each other, it's the look of love. Finish the series, and you get what I mean why they are really meant to be.

Next would be their friends, Duang's friends, Jamie and Pae. I love his friends actually, they are all crazy lol. All of the craziness of Duang, they all support it cuz they really love Duang, and the only thing they want is for him to be happy. Also, during those times when Duang is down, they are there, comforting him and fighting with him (can't forget Jamie stood up for Duang when Tiw pissed them off). They are the type of friends that we need to have.

Next would be Tong and Kim, Qin's friends. I love how they support Duang being a lover boy to Qin hehe. Tong and Kim were one of the reasons why Qin slowly opened up in the earlier episode to Duang, since they always give him some eye opener advice (be also thankful to them Duang hehe). I'm alwaaaaysss look forward to the TongCherry/TongPae huhu.

Next, we have this side couple Jamie and Mars, but don't hate me but they're too cringe for me huhu. And also I'm so very focused with DuangQin's love story that's why I don't really appreciate JamieMars so much.

Another thing that I love in this series were the bgm and their ost, how can these be so cute and addictive??? I really like how they are so dedicated to making such cute bgm and also osts, because we all know that not all series have so much ost, but dmd series spoil us so much of the osts, and it was so cute.

Each episode is really worth it guys, there's no episode where I was bored. My emotions were like a roller coaster but I kept on smiling. Please guys, don't just look forward to nc scenes, trust me, this series is more than that.

From a slow burn romance, talking stage until they become boyfriends, all of their era was just heartwarming and all. Duang and Qin are really green flags towards each other, to the point that mamis and dadis who are watching dwy, also wants a relationship like them. To love and to be loved like DuangQin.

Not the best still good

It's my first time writing a review .I will say this drama was really my type. It's shows how script dont need to be complicated ,a sweet story and fluffy story also can take peoples heart.Every thing about this drama maybe not flowless but still it was a good bl i ever watched .Maybe future watcher dont think its best because they will see for interesting bl in the future .But for now it was the most fresh and fluffy and green flag romance story i ever watched.Dwy teached me many thing .Duang character shows how to be cringe and be happy but still be mature when it needs to be ,how to respect bundary of their partner ,how to be themselves .And how not to gave up or what is real gentlement .(kneeling to his partner, buying pad for friend , etc).Qin also shows how to start love even when u hard inside and let go past or think about his partner financial situation and ready to have family with duang like he adopt a dog in the last ep .And the friendship between duang, jamie and pae was something else ,This kind of friendship is hard to find in real life. Lastly i will say this drama maybe not be everyones type but for me it was perfect and peaceful.I am so grateful to watch this drama .

NgernOat is Gonna be an Official Pair Right? RIGHT!!

Omg where to begin I LOVED this storyline!! I was skeptical at first with the ghosts and that whole storyline lol but it was fine. I am big on chemistry and boy did Arthit an Dao deliver SOULMATES!!

This couple is coming real close to my love of Jo and North in this universe. I wish we had more timeeee, give me a full at least 12 ep season with them please!!! 8 ep was not enough, all I can hope is we get more of them in the next part of this season.

I absolute loved Arthit and Ngern freaking crushed this role!! The slowly falling in love to being absolutely obsessed with Dao, ugh I ate that upppp. Black cat/ golden retriever is my absolute favourite and that is Arthit and Dao. I want to rewatch this over and over again, I need a special episode, I just need MORE. I wanted to give this a 9 so bad cause I truly truly loved it so much but my only qualms were I wasn't super into the solving the ghost murder lol and I love you Oat but the English with his dad was just too cringe...

Still highly recommend and I will be rewatching, this was so good I’m so sad it's over!!

Not much to say about this one.

My Romance Scammer feels exactly like a Hallmark movie — cutesy, funny, super cheesy, and very much a classic rom-com. It’s the story of two men who fell in love, lied to each other, messed everything up… and somehow found their way back for a second chance. The second couple follows almost the exact same pattern, just at a quicker pace. That’s pretty much it.
On the surface, I really enjoyed it. The main characters are incredibly charming and endearing, and the supporting cast is just as adorable. I completely switched my brain off, embraced the rom-com vibes, and let myself enjoy the warm, fuzzy ride. The series is great at delivering feel-good moments, which makes it very easy to forgive its flaws. You just have to accept that this is pure BL heaven — where every problem gets solved quickly, easily, and with almost zero consequences.
That said, if you look a little closer, the central premise is shaky, the character development doesn’t always make sense, the pacing drags in places, and the music is pretty average. What saves it are the lovely acting and the extremely likeable characters.
Still… my heart says it was ridiculously sweet. Because of that, I’m rounding my 6.5 up to a 7.
Overall, it’s a light, fluffy series that will really hit the spot for a lot of people. Just put on your rose-colored glasses, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the cheese.

Strong Premise, Inconsistent Execution

This one felt a bit uneven for me, and I’m still not entirely sure how I feel about it. I started off intrigued—the storytelling was unique, and I liked the sense of mystery around what happened to the sister. The gradual reveals and flashbacks worked well for me, almost like peeling back layers, and they helped me connect with the characters.

However, once part of the truth came out, I found myself underwhelmed. The impact didn’t really land, and the pacing felt off. That unevenness continued for a while, until after the halfway point when other characters and their intersecting storylines were introduced. At that stage, the family’s psychology became more central, and the themes grew heavier. Each episode became increasingly dark, leading up to a full reveal that did match the emotional weight of what the family had endured.

So, on one hand, I think the pacing weakened the narrative, and some of the subplots felt dry or anticlimactic. On the other, the overall story was pretty wild, and some of the performances were impressive. Ultimately, though, the execution didn’t fully land for me, and I struggled to stay invested in events that were treated with more gravity than I personally felt they had.

I Love You P'Fah

This was so cute!! I’m going to be honest I started Part 2 because I was wanting to get to the Arthit Dao storyline but I fell in love with Fah and Phoon. The childhood friends to lovers is one of my fave tropes and these actors really did it justice.

I wish they had more time and could've given more to the storyline of Typhoon's home life etc. the way I CRIED whenever he would talk to his sister and blame himself for everything. I just wanted to scoop him up and tell him it's not his fault, so thank you Fah for protecting the babyyy.

I loved getting to see Jo and North throughout this series too, they were my fave couple from part 1 so seeing their domestic moments was so cute. Shoutout to North for being a real one!!

I’m going to be so sad when the stories in this universe are over cause I just love these characters a lot.

I came across this movie because of ding yuxi, I just recently became a fan and watched all his dramas. This movie is a beautiful tragic love story. But it was too short, fast paced and confusing . I was confused about the ending and ended up searching for the novel. I read the novel and I should say it made me understand the characters better but at the same time the movie plot was also very different from the novel with just a few similarities. I don’t think I have it in me to rewatch this movie even after reading the book. The actors were great I cried when they cried and all and the scene at the ocean and the wedding was beautiful.
Comparing the novel to the movie the novel was a roller coaster of emotions and the movie was just tragic and sad. But both had somewhat happy endings.

A 2 hours' worth of story that got dragged out to 16 episodes.

𓂃 A cheap trick to deceive the viewers right at the beginning. In the opening scene, they make it seem like some kind of horror event is happening, then suddenly cut to mundane everyday life. Around the middle of the episode, they reveal the answer, which turns out to be nothing. It’s just some light, childish play, not any real horror at all. They mislead the viewers just to grab attention. This feels like a cheap trick from those who don’t have the ability to truly hold the audience’s attention.

Apart from that, this drama is super slow and boring

𓂃 I almost dropped it after ep 1, but tried to give it a proper chance. It’s still too boring to watch properly I had to fast-forward and skim ahead from time to time. So, I decided to drop it again after finishing ep 7. But then, I read a review saying it only starts getting better after ep 7, so I gave it another chance.

Ep 8 still the same, though.

The past-life storyline begins in ep 9, but everything is still slow.

Ep 10 still slow. The romance, despite being plain, still manages to feel cheesy at the same time. The ending of ep 10 picks up my attention a bit, but then it goes back to be plain and cheesy and slow in ep 11.

𓂃 At this point, I can conclude that this story is never meant to be a full-fetched 16-ep drama. There’s nothing in the story. What they do is stretching a 2-hour movie into 16–17 hours. This is a scam!

𓂃 At this stage, there're 5 ep left for me, so I decided to see it through to the end. My annoyance level keeps going up, though, with the amount of time they’re stealing from me. And I expect to see the ML kill the FL in the past life now. Anything less intense would just be pathetic.

Ok, in the last 5 episodes, the ML actually does kill the FL in their past life during a prisoner chase even though he had just rescued her from prison. He even volunteers to be the one to kill her, but the reason is so lame. He says he doesn’t want her to be dismembered. What the hell! How weak the reason is! In that scene, a palace guard is already about to kill her with an arrow while the rival shaman tells him not to fear the FL's curse, guaranteeing that he can prevent it.

Each episode is still way too slow. The main plot points are scattered with only a few in each episode. They really stretch this out a lot. I almost don’t want to believe this is a Korean drama, which normally doesn’t drag things out this excessively like Chinese dramas that go on for 36, 40 or even 50 episodes as a norm. This is only 16 episodes, but it honestly doesn’t feel worth more than 2 hours.

𓂃 Apart from that, I don’t see any good acting from the supporting roles. They don’t really serve any purpose in this drama anyway. I don’t feel any presence from any of them. On the contrary, some of them are even outright annoying.

For example, the ML’s dad. What the hell is his lame reasoning? His behavior is basically victim-blaming. He also opposes the leads’ relationship like a literal idiot with no brain. He's irrational in a way that only happens in a soap opera. Yeah… this is exactly what it is—a lame melodrama soap opera series.

𓂃 After ep 1, I gave this a 4.5, but more nonsense kept piling up along the way. It dropped to 4 after ep 7. And this final score reflects my level of annoyance and frustration at the peak after finishing everything. The actual quality is probably around 3, but I’m so upset with the plot and the drag that it ends up at 2.

I laughed a lot!

The Jackson thing was hilarious and Choi Si Won should be cast in more comedies. Yeah, the DNA thing being related to one's belief in the best mate/lover thing is silly, but the silliness works for more laughs, right? That's what I got out of this drama. The best Kdramas IMO are the ones that provide humor, as much as possible. I thought Jung In Sun did a very good job with her role also.
