Very pleasing to watch

This show actually surprises me a lot. I really enjoyed thee character. This show is cringy, but in the good way. PondPuin, you nailed it. Thee character actually the greenest flag ever. Lol
The side characters have not enough screen time, but they are still enjoyable. I really like est character in here. Even though he is only a bodyguard, he has charisma.

just give it a try

Honestly loved how there was plot twist in every ep a new turn of events!
Absolutely loved the acting!! Forcebook really did do a good job.

But some things that i felt could've been better were how to story was paced, so part n plot just felt off n could've been better.
Other than that it surely worth watching!

Worth watching through the draggy start.

Although this felt a little draggy in parts as it moved forward, it grabs you and keeps you wanting to watch it. I started watching for Jung Il Woo and the FL but the rest of the cast were amazing at their portrayal of their characters that it kept me watching for the rest of the storylines for the other characters.
definitely recommend watching this one. brilliant in every way.
The cast did an amazing job even in loving to hate the stepmom for all her evil actions and motivations. my only disappointment would be that there’s no real resolve regarding the step mum. a bit sad but I’ll get over it.

WTF

I’m not going into details because I could write for an eternity but if you really think this is a great show and have given it more than 5 stars…. I have no words for you cause you don’t have any respect for yourself.
The acting, directing, writing, dialogues, intense scenes, romance scenes, editing, all are very poor. Even the injuries and how they magically heal or only hurt for flirting purposes!
The policing is a whole other story, nothing is getting done, Kamin and Jade just show up to numerous murder scenes and have made 0 effort in solving this crime, I mean they only spoke to the 1st victim’s mother in ep 6 !!!! I’m no police but I know that’s usually the first thing you do!
To summarise: I think there is a group of fans who see this show as a weekly virtual fan meet: even if there were no dialogues they would be extremely happy and even admit they’re “only here for JoongDunk” and rate it 10/10 and call any criticism a”hate” comment and essentially prevent anyone ever getting better at their job because of their extremely low standards.
And then there is a group who is constantly getting hate for demanding better value production, solid storylines, and convincing acting. This is where I am. And based on my own experience of show business and having studied actors, directors, writers and producers and their approach to every new project, I can honestly say not only this show is very poorly done but is also problematic in terms of its representation of the Thai Police Force and investigative teams.
I honestly think production companies (specifically gmmtv as they have the highest output) need to reconsider the value of their work, please don’t think we’ll support everything just for the sake of the main couple. If I’m paying for my netflix and giving you an hour of my time every week, you need to show me you deserve it and appreciate it. Watching DY2D was a big insult and I’m genuinely annoyed by how gmmtv sees fans ….
We are better than this and so are most of your artists. Treat us as such!!!!!!

Edit: that last episode was so hilarious 🤣 the doctor made a bomb!!!! They let champ AX MURDER 2 people while they WATCHED and then SAVED HIM and escaped!!!!
Anyone who voted this show anything more than 5 is a bot and blind and (unrespectfully) a total idiot who does not deserve good quality work.

Honestly how on gods green earth did they and are they getting away whit this absolute shot show?

I didn’t know I needed a series about language barriers until I saw Kim Seon-ho on screen. Honestly, this man is the gold standard for adorable. He has that rare ability to act with his eyes that makes you want to give him a hug in every single scene. His performance is warm, funny, and carries that touch of vulnerability we all love.

But let’s talk about Go Youn-jung. I’m honestly blown away by how she handles her character’s duality. Playing a "double role" (Cha Mu-hui and Do Ra-mi) requires immense subtlety to make the nuances land, and she nails it, jumping from one facet to another with such natural ease. The dynamic between the leads is electric and feels incredibly organic.

The international addition of Sota Fukushi is a masterstroke. His presence brings a different energy, and his chemistry with the rest of the cast feels very fresh. On top of that, the scenery is breathtaking; the cinematography takes advantage of every location, making the series feel like a constant visual journey.

In short: A tender story, visually flawless, and a cast overflowing with charisma. If you’re looking for something to leave your heart feeling warm and your eyes mesmerized, this is it.

horrible, even for a mini drama

man this show was just horrendous...The first, maybe 7 episodes were okay, intriguing even, but they really drug out the divorce thing until even the last episode...she made no sense why she wanted to divorce him when they were so in love. like nothing about the show made sense. I watch these mini dramas where a lot of stuff doesnt make sense but this was too much. it was just horrible writing. its something that honestly never should have been released. someone should have laughed at the script and ripped it up. and the fact he was forcing her to make out and stuff when he knew she was married(although he didn't know she wasn't really married to that guy) but he THOUGHT she was and he kept saying "I know u like me so just divorce him and choose me". YUCK so hes a cheater. guys never get with someone like that it just shows they will cheat on you too. I know its just a show but I dont watch cheating stuff because its just too wrong and disgusting. anyway even putting that aside it was just a joke of a show. I had to fast forward so many parts that were just way too cringe.total waste of my night.

Passionate love is without any passion, or love

I couldn't see the romance tbh, the whole story is about the revenge, and if it wasn't for a few very questionable jealousy moments, I wouldn't even see any love there.

It's not even that great and it's already too long, acting is ok-ish, nothing great about it to keep me watching, I found myself laughing at some very odd scenes.

I have watched quite a few dramas where the ML manhandling the FL in a very degrading way so I'm not surprised to see those things -my personal opinion about it aside- but here it's mostly wrist grabbing and choking, just those things.
In other shows there were some forced kisses just to show the "obsessive" personality of the ML, I believe that's the writer's twisted way of showing love, but here it only happened once, and I'm not saying I wanna see the ML forcing himself on the FL, actually the opposite, why didn't they just keep it as a revenge drama without the romance.

Because if you cut a couple of scenes this would pass as revenge story, and most of us who started it for the romance wouldn't be so disappointed after finishing it.

I generally didn't like it, because if you are here for romance, it's non existent, if you like the forced love where the ML is obsessed with the FL, you wouldn't be satisfied cause it's only humiliation and revenge, if you just want some good tension between the leads, you wouldn't find any, there is no chemistry between the leads.

The history of the unstable dynasty and the journey to a stable Era

I would say from the beginning to the end I really love the drama even though I know that it not 100 percent accurate like what happened back then but they got a lot of the important event in and also the way they represent the culture was also very nice

the characters
Qiao Chu : I would definitely say he is my favourite character even towards the ending i grew to love him more especially when he made me understand that wuyue is not just the Qiao family kingdom but the peoples too that he can’t make a decision along about surrendering the land at the ends after he does he was labeled a loyal minister of the court I would truly say I was moved because after all all they have worked for his for the peaceful era

lady sun : Her death hurt me to the core I truly didn’t see it coming but I do understand that people can’t live forever but the fact that she went first and he has to live alone for so long before he joined her was so painful her character was very crucial in the drama because I believe that she is the only one that can make him change his mind talk to him and also understand him like when he didn’t want to sumit new tributes to the new emperor she played a significant role in helping to Realize that it won’t be smart to so that and at the end when she died and didn’t want to be buried in the ground I truly felt it as she grew up at the sea so her burial ground being the sea makes so much sense .

At the end of this drama the world is finally at peace the song dynasty ruled and it the peace ful era that so many people faught for it moves to how many powerful figures had an hand to this powerful dynasty and never got to see it and one like that moved me at the end was when Qiao Chu older brother told him that all the people from the past generation have died and that he it finally a peaceful era and that he should go with the trend and surrender the land to the empire I really cried because when Qiao Chu acknowledge the people of wuyue abs told them that the world is finally at peace and all that remains for unification is Wuyue territory and also they get such high welcoming if they just surrender in peace and he was labeled one of the most loyal people of the dynasty honestly I would say that this peace ful era was not achieved by one person but multiple every character played a role and after how many generations have passed they can finally say there was a peaceful Era 😭😭😭

it's good but last few episodes were meh~

upto ep11 it was good , the plot , the suspense and most of it was good. but after they revealed who big mouse actually is , I felt it had way less suspense than it actually needed. like just out of the blue big mouse was revealed and boom , got killed. lol.

the amount of power exaggeration they did from the start that big mouse had so much power and actually showed little to nothing is pure disappointing. The series even had PPL with Cadillac. maybe the budget was low but still they could've showed his(big mouse's) power and connections a little more.

also after ep11 the plot they wanted to show somehow became wayyy too obvious lol. comparing to the start, the ending was kinda lame.

also the ending was soo rushed. like wtf the FL died out of nowhere? no emotional tearjerker when she died lol. and main villan died like an insect too. there was nothing what the ML did after completion of everything with the power he had in his hands.

because of the ass ending I would give this show an 6.5/10

Romanticized Toxicity Isn’t Romance

the only good thing for me was the acting, the actors were great they did a great job. the only reason I felt emotional during the end was because of how the acting was delivered and not because of the characters themselves.

I couldn’t root for the male lead at all,I was just annoyed the entire time. I understand that characters are meant to be flawed, but there’s a difference between flawed and unbearable. The show also didn’t do a good job showing the emotional aftermath of the decisions that harmed people. Actions had consequences, but we barely sat with them. Everything felt brushed over.

And don’t even get me started on the kidnapping plot. She had every right to completely crash out, yet he’s the one comforting her, when he’s the reason all of this is happening. Him saying he’ll “get punished when he dies” doesn’t make it okay. Being terminally ill does not excuse toxic behavior. It wasn’t sweet. It wasn’t romantic.

He comes back into her life while he’s dying, doesn’t tell her the truth, gets her attached to him again, and she eventually forgives him because all she wants is love and a family. But he’s still dying, so what does that mean? He traumatizes her all over again and makes her watch him die. That’s not devotion. That’s selfishness masked as love.

Yes, he has trauma. Yes, he’s been through a lot. But trauma explains behavior it doesn’t excuse it. The show seemed to romanticize everything instead of critically examining it.

The female lead wasn’t innocent either. Her increasing acceptance of his behavior made it even harder to watch. The only character who made any sense was the second male lead questioning why he was dragging her around when he could literally drop dead at any moment.

With how toxic the dynamic was, If you changed the tone and tweaked the writing slightly, this could have easily been a thriller with the male lead as the villain.

Don’t judge this drama by Its Title is really worth

Despite the title, *Falling High School Girl and Irresponsible Teacher* turned out to be such a great watch
Yes, it’s about a high school girl who develops feelings for her teacher — but not in the way you might expect. If you’re assuming this is a typical romanticized student–teacher story, it really isn’t. And honestly? That’s what makes it so good.

The chemistry between the leads completely carries the show. The female lead is sarcastic, gloomy, sharp-tongued and incredibly self-aware. She doesn’t romanticize anything. She calls out the teacher on his words, his behavior, his irresponsibility. She challenges him constantly.
The male lead, on the other hand, is effortlessly funny. He has this unserious, almost careless energy but it works. Whenever a moment starts to feel like it’s turning romantic, they flip it into sarcasm or humor. The banter between them is genuinely entertaining.
Their dynamic feels unconventional, messy, and real. And that contrast between her darkness and his chaotic humor makes every interaction engaging.

But this story goes much deeper than witty banter. At its core, it’s about a girl who is struggling with wanting to end her life. And it’s about a teacher who, in his own flawed and imperfect way, tries to save her while she is also slowly learning how to save herself. That’s what makes the series powerful. It’s not about forbidden romance. It’s about emotional survival. It’s about pain, responsibility, and healing even when the people involved aren’t perfect heroes. The tone balances humor and heaviness in a way that feels surprisingly natural.

The first season was amazing (and yes, there is a Season 2). The actors truly elevated this story. Without their performances, it could have easily felt uncomfortable or shallow but instead, it feels layered and thoughtful. It’s funny. It’s sarcastic. It’s darker than you expect. If you’re willing to look past the title, you might find something much deeper underneath.

⚠️ Content Warning
Before anything else: this film contains graphic scenes involving death, suicide, and blood. The depictions are explicit and repeated throughout the movie. If you are sensitive to gore or themes of self-harm, this may be deeply triggering. Please approach with caution.

Plot**
The film opens on what should be an ordinary end-of-term school day. A student brings a DVD to class and plays it for everyone. What begins as a strange montage of chaotic images and distorted sound quickly takes a horrifying turn. At the end of the video, the same student suddenly jumps out of the classroom window to their death.
The class is left traumatized but the nightmare is only beginning. Their teacher informs them that they have been hypnotized. The DVD contained **100 hidden signals**, each capable of triggering them to commit suicide. In order to survive, they must identify and neutralize all 100 signals before they activate. From this moment onward, the film transforms into a psychological survival game.

The movie strongly echoes the survival chaos of **Battle Royale** and the high-stakes absurdity of **As the Gods Will**. Adapted from a manga, it carries that signature intensity exaggerated stakes, rapid escalation, and stylized brutality.
Japan has a long history of producing compelling survival thrillers, and this film continues that tradition. It blends psychological horror with graphic physical violence, creating an atmosphere that feels both frantic and triggering! However, this is not subtle horror. It is loud, shocking, and intentionally disturbing.

The “100 signals” concept allows the film to explore multiple forms of death, and it does so in graphic detail. The gore is not implied, it is shown. Blood is frequent, and the suicide scenes are explicit.
For viewers who enjoy extreme survival narratives, this may heighten the intensity and realism. For others, it may feel overwhelming or excessive. This is not casual viewing!!!!

Despite the heavy material, the cast delivers strong performances. The emotional panic, confusion, and desperation feel believable, grounding the more extreme aspects of the plot.
A standout performance comes from **Kanna Hashimoto**. With every role I see her in, she becomes more impressive.

One of the most surprising elements of the film is its ending. As the credits rolled, I found myself unable to turn it off — completely absorbed by the theme song. **Carry On** by **YukaDD** is powerful, catchy, and thematically fitting. It contrasts beautifully with the intensity of the film, leaving a lingering emotional impression. I added it to my playlist immediately and it has stayed there ever since.

This film is gripping, intense, and unapologetically graphic. It will strongly appeal to fans of survival manga adaptations and high-stakes psychological thrillers. At the same time, it is not for everyone. The gore and repeated suicide depictions may make it a difficult watch for some. If you can handle extreme survival horror, you may find this film compelling and memorable. If not, consider this your warning.

The only reason I am not scoring this 10/10 it is because of the pace and how everything went by so fast! I wish this was a drama it would have give more time to explore the feelings, grief and the horror.

Unexpectedly Heavy Yet Emotionally Entertaining

Twelve Letters follows the story of two young people in 1991 who meet as classmates, fall in love, and promise to face all difficulties together. In 2026, other people meet because their lost parents seem connected to each other. The "couple" from those two era later communicate through letters sent via a mysterious mailbox. They try to uncover what happened in 1991 and prevent a tragic event happening.

At first, I expected it to be just a usual fantasy melodrama, but from episode 1, we're already shown heavy topics including domestic violence, gang fights, and other social issues. The series progresses really slowly, but it unfolds every layer of the mystery very well, keeping me intrigued throughout. The plot is solid and the story is really hits hard emotionally, but for me it's not too difficult to watch, they also include some cute banters that made me smile. The ending was great as well.

The cinematography is amazing, capturing different sides of China beautifully, the rivers and mountains in 1991, and the Beijing winter scenes in 2026. The cast's acting is superb, I felt every of their emotion, the leads' conversations feel both sad yet heartwarming.

Overall, it was something unexpected for me at first, but after finishing it, my mind felt blank and my heart still hurts. Definitely worth watching.

Love in the Clouds is the kind of xianxia drama that pulls you in mainly because of the main couple. Ji Bozai and Ming Yi have amazing chemistry, and half the time you’re just watching for their eye contact, banter, and emotional scenes. The story mixes revenge, destiny, and politics in the immortal world, but it never becomes too complicated to follow.

What I really like is that the romance doesn’t feel dry. There’s tension, flirting, and a lot of “enemies-to-lovers” energy in the beginning that slowly turns into genuine trust and love. The side couples are also surprisingly good and add more emotion instead of feeling like filler. The visuals are beautiful – costumes, sets, and fight scenes all look dreamy and high quality, which makes the whole thing feel like a fantasy fairytale.

It’s not perfect though. Some parts in the middle can feel a bit slow, and the world-building sometimes feels under-explained, like they expect you to just accept the rules without telling you too much. A few plot points are a bit dramatic. But if you’re watching mainly for vibes, romance, and a strong main couple, these flaws don’t ruin the experience.

Overall, I’d call Love in the Clouds a very watchable fantasy romance: great chemistry, pretty visuals, and enough drama to keep you hooked.
