Don't miss out on this masterpiece!!
Detective Chinatown honestly shocked me in the best way possible.First of all: this show is CRIMINALLY underrated. The drama is divided into 3 parts/stories.
The first arc? Absolutely top tier. The way the story presents events that seem supernatural and then slowly reveals the very human greed and schemes behind them — I loved that twist. Every reveal felt smart, satisfying, and a little mind-blowing. It pulled me in immediately and never let me go, especially in those opening episodes.
Then comes the second part, which isn’t exactly a traditional case but more of a character-driven build. Even though it changed the format, I still found it gripping because the tension and psychological play stayed strong.
But I have to confess something.
I got attached to Lin Mo. So when the series shifted to other detectives, it felt like emotional betrayal . Their stories were interesting too, yes, but I wanted more of him, more of his methods, more of his journey. A part of me really wished those other investigations had been separate movies instead.
And can we talk about something nobody seems to discuss???
I know this isn’t a romance drama, but Lin Mo and Sa Sha’s chemistry stood OUT. I kept waiting for more crumbs, more development, anything. Yet barely anyone talks about her or ships them. In an already tiny fandom, the shippers are almost extinct. Am I alone here??
Despite being a thriller, the drama balances comedy surprisingly well. The humor never ruins the tension; it actually makes the characters feel more alive. That mix is hard to pull off, but the show makes it look effortless.
I finished it thinking: how is this so good and still so under-watched?

Interesting concept. Everything else is not so interesting.
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.
So, here's the thing- the concept for this series was interesting and that's what drew me into wanting to watch this. But I don't know what the heck happened. I can't even blame the execution- most, if not all of the characters, were written stupidly. Half of the things that they did have me wondering why and if they were really that dumb. It had me even questioning myself as scenes that were seen in a flashback by the female protagonist, I did not recall seeing it AT ALL throughout the previous episodes. I felt that the series itself began to be a bit too draggy for me and I just wanted to finish it for finishing's sake.
What I would say was that I was surprised by two things that occurred in the last episode and in all honesty, I was kind of surprised when we learnt the truth about Walter's killer. All in all, watch it if you are a fan of these actors because you will feel like you have never watched such dumb charcters in your life.

The romance itself was beautifully developed. Nothing felt forced or rushed — instead, their feelings unfolded naturally through quiet moments, emotional support, and mutual understanding. The love scenes were especially well done. They were soft, intimate, and emotionally meaningful rather than overly dramatic, which made the romance feel authentic and heartfelt.
Another highlight was the female lead’s best friend. It was so nice to see a strong, loyal female support character with high emotional intelligence. I think this aspect of women choosing themselves and knowing their value enough to walk away from toxic relationships.. Their friendship added warmth and balance to the story, and it made the female lead’s journey feel more grounded and real.
Overall, the drama gave me the same comforting and light romantic vibe as My Boss. It’s the kind of story that doesn’t rely on unnecessary angst or toxic misunderstandings, but instead focuses on emotional connection, trust, and genuine affection.
It’s not overly intense or heavy, but that’s exactly what makes it so enjoyable. It leaves you feeling calm, happy, and emotionally satisfied.

Watching this is a choice...
I decided to watch this despite the low rating, which by the way is not nearly low enough,so it's on me, I put myself through this mess and I'm suffering the consequences.I don't want to be entierly negative so first I'm going to list the positives.
1. Hot dudes.
End of list.
Just kidding!! The cinematography is what mostly kept my interest, the locations are so stunning! like I want to climb that tree so badly and the river looks so refreshing just gorgeous. I saw that at of people were complaining about the plot being boring and It's not, not really, it's not good, but it's not boring. Maybe if you were expecting the typical GMMTV fluffy, cute, sound effects filled "comedic" series, yes, but this is supposedly a thriller, and this is where I cannot find anymore positives, oh yes, Book is actually acting like a normal grown-up man!! 👍🏻👍🏻
So, this is garbage, really, really bad stinking garbage. The plot is so confusing and not in a good way. I was intrigued at first, I really wanted to like it, but, it's like taking at least 3 sets of puzzles and trying to put them together to from a coherent image. It's not thrilling, there's a murderer on the loose but it doesn't feel menacing enough, the romance plot starts off so weird then gross, then it's It fine, these two are amazing together so no real complaints there.
The plot is so weird, it jumps from scene to scene randomly with no real sense, I thought there was a point to it, maybe part of the mystery, but nope.
The acting is just atrocious all around. There was a point where I thought it would be funny if a certain character turned out to be the killer but then it was revealed they were indeed the killer and it wasn't funny, not at all funny, in fact it was so annoying, that this person could be so stupid! just stupid and the plot kept getting even stupider beyond that point.
Most of the characters suuuck!! But grandma takes the cake. I wanted to quit but I was already 9 episodes in this mess, I might as well keep watching to see what other nonsense they're going to throw at me, there has to be a reason why there's an episode left.
I really couldn't sit through one more episode of this, I tried but it's unnecessary, I was already exhausted so I skipped through most of episode 10. there's just nothing there but filler.
In conclusion; The series starts out somewhat fine, obviously it's not going to be good but it seems watchable, it drew me in with the beautiful scenery and strong chemistry between the leads, then it threw dumb nonsense twists one after another, getting more and more stupid as it progressed, it has the dumbest villain in existence really! And by the end it left me questioning why I even started it.

Top-tier chemistry trapped in too many episodes
Skate Into Love stands out because of its icy, sporty backdrop. Figure skating, speed skating, competitions — visually, it’s fresh and fun, and I genuinely think the drama made me like ice sports more than I ever expected.Let me be very clear about one thing: I LOVED the first 15 episodes.
The start of the show is packed with energy. The comedy is relentless, the childhood connection is hilarious from both perspectives, and the rivals-to-lovers setup is done at just the right pace. Plus — elite trope alert — he falls first. He starts off annoyed by her and somehow ends up whipped, and watching that transition is incredibly satisfying.
What makes the drama even better is how the leads break typical stereotypes.
The female lead is bold, confident, and almost alpha in her energy, which feels refreshing in a genre that often leans toward softer, overly delicate heroines. She’s strong, athletic, loud when she needs to be, and the actress plays her so naturally that it never feels forced.
And the male lead? Absolute love. He isn’t the usual cold, emotionless genius. He’s expressive, dramatic, sometimes petty, sometimes adorable — and that makes his chemistry with her so entertaining to watch.
Their dynamic really carries the show.
Now… we need to talk about the problems.
WHY are there SO MANY second leads???
The man has multiple people orbiting him. She has multiple people orbiting her. It becomes less “romantic tension” and more “emotional traffic jam.” After a point, it’s just exhausting.
But the biggest issue for me was the length. This drama would have been PERFECT if it wrapped up around 25 episodes. Instead, the plot keeps stretching, conflicts repeat, and I found myself losing patience. I actually had to read summaries for some middle parts and fast-forward through scenes — never a good sign.
There’s also a breakup that feels very forced, like it exists purely because the story needs extra drama to continue.
Still, I can’t deny the impact of the beginning. When this show is good, it’s REALLY good. It’s funny, romantic, refreshing, and full of personality.
So in my head, Skate Into Love is half amazing, half unnecessarily long — but the amazing half is strong enough that I still remember it very fondly.

Do you believe that bad people get what’s coming to them?
This was one of those series that I just couldn’t put down. The suspense was intense, and the story was compelling. It’s a cat-and-mouse game with a sharp look at politics and corruption, where secrets and lies are in abundance. It shows how the law tends to work in favor of the rich, how justice is applied differently to different people, and how those who try to uncover the truth end up in serious danger.I can sum it up in one sentence: the struggles of a judge as he faces the more sordid side of life.
It has a wonderful cast and a steady pace that slows down toward the end. The music? Let’s just say it exists. It does its job… quietly. Maybe too quietly.
And when I finished the last episode, I finally realized — maybe I had wasted my time. I was thoroughly entertained while watching it, but when it was over, I was left with nothing but the memory of that entertainment. Sometimes I just want to be entertained, I guess.
Yep, this is a good show, but it lacks anything truly substantial. A little bit of Again My Life, a little bit of Reborn Rich, and maybe a little bit of Judge vs. Judge. Something like that. If that’s what you’re looking for, then The Judge Returns is your series.

A Fun Time with Shin Hae Sun
Really compelling story about the multiple faces of our Sarah Kim. It’s interesting to think about how many different kinds of “us” there are. I honestly found myself rooting for Sarah quite a bit and a little annoyed at the judgement from Mu Gyeong. Part of the reason Sarah existed is due to the unfair practices the pushed her into a 500k debt. The samwol store that makes their employees pay for lost merchandise and yet won’t even allow them an accessible place for the bathroom. The illegal loan sharks that forced a signature for more money. Even so, she saved the man whose business pushed her farther into debt. Sarah isn’t perfect but I felt I could still appreciate her sheer ingenuity and tenacity to survive. Also, I don’t think it’s a scam to create a luxury brand because that’s literally what they all do. Poetic, really, at the end that the while Mu gyeong held contempt of Sarah for her lies, he also gave him to reach his own ambitions. I think once Sarah is released, she’ll rise again though and i’d love to see it.Was this review helpful to you?

This was bad!
Oh my gosh, this was bad! The story was just ridiculous! Especially the revenge part of the jealous second doctor and nurses. The visuals were ok, but the mains wore too much make-up.
I don't remember any music. And like most shorts, the few minute episodes are too anoying.
The acting of most actors was really bad, Seua Nara Sudprasert did a decent job, but still wasn't great.
There was a bit chemistry and the kisses were ok.
In my opinion it's a waste of time to watch this.

Almost Great, Almost
I went into The Judge Returns with simple expectations, and overall, it turned out to be a solid watch for me. It’s a serious legal drama that focuses more on justice and personal struggles rather than romance. The story follows a judge who comes back to the courtroom after dealing with a difficult past. What I liked most is how the drama shows the emotional burden behind every decision. Each case feels meaningful, and sometimes it really makes you think about what is truly fair.
The acting is one of the strongest points. The lead actor carries the drama with calm but powerful expressions. You can feel the internal conflict without too much dramatic acting. The courtroom scenes are intense and realistic, which kept me interested.
However, the pacing can feel slow at times, especially during long legal explanations. If you prefer fast storylines or strong romance, this might not fully satisfy you. But if you enjoy thoughtful and character-focused dramas, this one is worth trying.
Overall, I found it emotional, mature, and meaningful. Not perfect, but definitely impactful in its own way.

I see the appeal, but it wasn’t fully for me.
A Love So Beautiful is one of those dramas you hear about very early if you’re entering C-dramas. It’s popular, it’s loved by many, and at this point it’s basically a classic high school romance. You don’t even have to like it to admit its status. For me, though? It was more of an okay-ish watch than a favorite.
Let’s start with the main dynamic. The male lead spends a huge part of the show acting cold, distant, and emotionally unavailable, while the female lead is relentlessly, almost aggressively, in love with him. At first, I didn’t mind it — it felt like the usual setup. But as episodes passed, I started getting serious secondhand embarrassment from how hard she kept chasing someone who shut her down again and again.
And I’ll be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of the trope where the guy’s feelings only show up through jealousy after treating the girl poorly for half the drama. I know it’s meant to be romantic, but sometimes it just made me frustrated.
The time skip is another thing I’m conflicted about. Was it necessary? Probably not. But weirdly… I liked the characters more after it happened. They felt more mature, more aware, and the reunion had a sweetness that the high school portion sometimes lacked.
Now, positives — because there are some.
The drama absolutely maintains its vibe. It has that nostalgic, youthful, slice-of-life feeling that makes it comforting even when you’re annoyed. And I really loved the second lead and a part of me genuinely wished she would end up with him — he deserved better. I liked the second couple. Their storyline felt fresher, cuter, and even more engaging than the main romance.
I also have to admit, whenever the main leads were actually good together, they were really nice to watch. Those moments reminded me why people love this drama so much.
In the end, I understand why A Love So Beautiful is considered iconic. It captures young love in a way that sticks with people. It just didn’t always work for me personally. Still, I enjoyed parts of it, and the later versions of the characters — especially after the time skip — made the journey feel worth it.

Short, straightforward & good enough revenge drama featuring a dancer
I recently enjoy the performances by Yu Ke Ran and saw this drama in a playlist of Zhao Mu Yan's dramas. My curiosity got the better of me - I watched it and liked it enough. What I liked:
1. Revenge - I liked her revenge plan.
2. FL characterisation - I liked that she was flawed. She never expected to have a connection with SML the son of the antagonist.
3. Acting - Zhao Mu Yan, Yu Ke Ran, the actress who played the main antagonist and the actor who played her son gave good performances. My first time watching YKR as scumbag - I liked it!
4. Length - Only 67 minutes. Straight to the point.
5. Seduction - I enjoyed the scenes with Zhao Mu Yan and Yu Ke Ran. The shower scene was hot.
6. Dance - I loved Zhao Mu Yan in her dancing garb. She looked graceful. I also enjoyed the tango dance she did.
What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - SFL was evil. She killed her husband and his kids - DAMN! Her lover played by Yu Ke Ran was a vicious accomplice. Glad they got retribution.
Favourite scene
When FL seduced ML

Oh my, why?
I am utterly confused as to why this series was made?.??. You know what this is? This is Tides of Love season 1, but with sex instead of kissing. The plot is non-existent, the acting is terrible and the leads have ZERO chemistry. I really don't understand putting a budget behind this at all. We could totally save our money for something descent. I'm dropping this one. After 3 episodes it hasn't gotten any better at all.Was this review helpful to you?
A clean watch
Professional Single was one of my earliest C-dramas, and I remember absolutely loving it. The funny thing is, even now when I think back on it, I realize I still do.The whole story is set in an art college, and that setting alone gives the drama such a calm, pleasant vibe. It’s the kind of show you put on when you want to relax and just spend time somewhere nice. Nothing too heavy, nothing too stressful — just romance, friendship, and a bit of comedy blended together in a really comfortable way.
I like that the drama is very level-headed. It never becomes extremely silly or irrational, and it doesn’t try to force unnecessary drama either. Is it realistic? Not really — college life isn’t always this pretty or happy. But it also doesn’t completely ignore problems. There are stakes, just handled softly. It shows a version of campus life that most of us would love to experience, and that’s part of its charm.
And the vibes? Warm, easy, comforting.
Now let’s address the VERY obvious thing — the height difference. I know many C-dramas use this trope, but here it genuinely feels extreme. She looks so tiny next to him, and somehow it becomes ridiculously cute and adds to their overall dynamic.
I also appreciated the female lead a lot. She isn’t trying hard to act cute; it comes naturally through her clumsiness and personality. That makes her feel more genuine and less forced. The male lead did a really good job too, and together their love story feels clean, soft, and satisfying without unnecessary toxicity.
One more thing I truly appreciated — it didn’t drag. You know how some dramas start losing energy toward the final episodes? I never felt that here. It stayed consistent and pleasant all the way through.
At the end of the day, this drama might not be revolutionary or super deep, but it gives you something equally important: comfort. It’s easy to watch, easy to like, and sometimes that’s more than enough.
