I really wanted to love this..

I was so bored by episode 10 & I can’t quite put my finger on why. The actors/actresses in this show are TOP TIER. Individually, I love each one, but for me, absolutely zero chemistry between the 3 of them. I was so sad I could not get into these 3 amazing leads together in one place:( maybe the story line wasn’t my cup of tea & the chemistry was off but besides that everything was executed with great quality! I loved the side characters, and I did laugh out loud a few times. The storyline between her and her sister was a great addition to the plot imo. Jealous of the people who loved this one, I wish I did!

First of all, the show was a lot more romance than I thought it was going to be based off of the synopsis. I really liked some of the choices they made when presenting certain things like flashbacks and I did originally like the way they presented information when they would show a scene, skip ahead a bit, and then go back to the scene to show what they left out; however, they did it so much that it did kind of get a little old for me eventually. I was originally going to give it an 8.5 but the last episode kind of threw me off a little bit with her going to a war zone and getting kidnapped, especially since it was only for a brief moment. I also only had one question: when did the sister actually start talking and why was the mom confused? Whenever the mom and sister met up, the mom had asked her when she started talking, which she never answered, but three years ago in the show, she was talking to Yu-yeon on the phone; so did she just not speak to the mom at all even three years ago or however long ago it was when she got the surgery?

Tiring show with no pot of gold at the end!

Starts out great and intriguing. The story goes in so many directions which it's strength and downfall. So much is reveal, yet nothing makes sense, but somehow it all adds together to become the setting for a ambiguity. It's like we're bombarded with infinite possibilities in terms of the main character's motivations and end goal only for all leads to be stripped clean as the investigation continues. I feel the chase is great in this series, but the catch not so much!

It's an exciting thriller with a beautiful visual. The world of fashion is always presented in this way, especially in kdramas, which may be why the idea seemed familiar to me. I had a strong feeling that I had already watched it. However, this did not affect my overall impression of the show.
The acting in this drama is exceptional, and both Shin Hae-sun and Jun-Hyuk deliver excellent performances. The supporting cast also delivers a great performance.
The ending is a bit confusing, as I didn't understand what happened in the last five minutes. However, the plot twist was well-executed.
Overall, this drama is worth watching, and it doesn't have many episodes, so everything is clearly explained.

The editing was very fast-paced and that isn't something that I am used to so it was a bit jarring. Because of this, I was a little confused throughout the movie as to where we were in the story at times because of how it felt like it was kind of jumping around. I think the extended version would be easier for me to watch and understand.

Loved it!

The ending was very confusing and convoluted but I'm sure I can figure it out by watching videos of people explaining it. The acting is actually the main reason I am giving it this rating, along with the story. Jeon Jong-seo did very well at being a creepy/psychotic character and it just shows how versatile she is as she has played about every type of character there is, not to mention that this was only like her second acting role. Park Shin-hye did amazing as well but that isn't really a surprise as Korean movies and shows always have amazing lead actors. I really liked the story and how you don't necessarily suspect anything is wrong with Young-sook at first and just think that she may be getting abused by her stepmother. Unfortunately though, I do feel like the trailer kind of spoiled the fact that she was a killer and I feel like it would've had more of an impact if they didn't reveal that in the trailer because in the movie, it is actually revealed after maybe a little more than 1/3 of the way through so I feel like they did have lots of material before the reveal that they could have put in the trailer to not spoil so much.

A different take on swindlers and identity theft

This one is tricky... It started as a murder mystery and in the second half, became more of a psychological crime drama. It was different from my expectations of how a drama featuring a con artist would be. The identity theft was also a smaller part of the show than I expected. There were definitely both strengths and flaws, but as a whole, I enjoyed it and was invested throughout.

What was undeniably good is Shin Hye Sun's performance. The effortless charisma and persuasiveness doesn't make me surprised that people around her fell for her tricks. It's to the point that you wonder if she was really faking it, and you can't help but like her character. Sarah Kim is also a compelling protagonist to me. She isn't a ruthless villain or a cliche genius con artist, she was intelligent but very human despite what she ended up doing in the show.

I also liked the wealthy victim characters. They weren't obnoxious caricatures nor evil chaebols. They were rather realistic portrayals of how the rich would behave and get swayed -- which is, imo, very rare in kdramas. In that sense, I think the biggest contributor to my enjoyment was the complexities in the relationships between Sarah Kim and her victims.

Onto the flaws, I definitely thought the show lost a bit of steam in the middle parts. The interrogations clearly were slow-paced compared to the beginning, and often unnecessarily confusing. While it gained its footing at the end, the show wasn't exactly consistent.

I also thought it was a shame that Sarah's employee identity arc only lasted one episode. It was intense and emotional, and I actually thought it would be intriguing to explore how she shifted from her original personality to Sarah's persona. The show missed out on this potential.

Overall, I think this would be a show that divides viewers. What is undeniable is that it is different, and thus an interesting watch.

One of my favorites

This show is not at all what I expected it to be and I feel like the trailer does a great job at misdirecting you. I adore all of the characters and their relationships; I think they are some of the best written characters I have ever seen, and have the most wholesome relationships with their loved ones. I gave it a 9.5 just because there was one episode where I was just a little bored but other than that, I loved it and I am very excited for the second season.

Hmmmm

The actors and acting were superb especially Shin Haesun. Totally nailed the character.

The storyline was interesting but some parts was confusing. I'm not sure how come someone can't even be trace for their identity. No fingerprints data at all?

I just have a problem with ending. Should I say it was a perfect crime or there will be S2?

There were some things that were brought up briefly in the show that seemed as though they were going to be important but then they were never brought up again. Such as the building manager losing hair. There were also some characters that I would have liked to see how they turned out after everything and would've like to have gotten some sort of resolution for such as the doctor who was just a horrible person. In all, the ending felt just a little rushed to me. I also felt like I wasn't really that connected to the characters. It was a very slow burn but I think it was a cool concept for a zombie-type show as it isn't something that we have really seen before in many ways. (Also, the reason the rewatch value is so low is because I do not really rewatch things so that can be ruled out.)

Love the show, however; the plot armor is just ridiculous in my opinion. There was a lot of plot armor last season as well but I thought it made a lot of sense as to why given that the games are supposed to represent their will to live. But Arisu was literally supposed to die and was just able to get away with losing a game when if it was anyone else, they would have died. Also, there was one thing in particular that wasn't answered and that was: how were they getting people to go back to the games? (Also, the reason my rewatch value is so low is because I don't really rewatch things so don't mind that.)

the previous seasons were extremely fun, and I was okay with the Author pulling a story reset on us after the very finale-like ending of season 2 and I was curious about what kind of new hijinks Mob will get into and to, see his character growth continue from season 2, and see what clever twists the Author will pull now but.. this season seemed to revert back to one-episode stories which were not that exciting anymore and the jokes didn't land with me as much either. however my main beef with the story was the introduction of the love rival or to be more specific.. the trope of the love rival, which was AGE GAP ROMANCE WITH A MINOR. at the very least Mob continued to try to avoid the flags, but I hated how the story kept going back to this trope and even showed another age gap couple where one of them was a minor......
there were some good bits among the brothers, and some indications that Mob's brother is aware of Mob's power to some extent (which I hope will be explored later..) but yeah, that whole high school love rival thing put a damper on the whole show.. I just want Kikuchi back to fix this storyline.

I never knew I needed a pookie vampire in my list of faves.

By no means was this a perfect production – but I wasn’t looking for perfection when I hit play. I just knew BounPrem would deliver a great watching experience and they did that in spades!
The vampire lore plot actually had a lot of legs, and it was one of those times I wished a show had a few more episodes so they could delve deeper into the story. But what we got was really well done.
I particularly enjoyed when Ramil walked through Punn’s memories, and how all those earlier episode threads were neatly addressed. So well done!

I loved the vampire brothers and their differing personalities. They could absolutely give each one their own show, and with that puzzling end scene with Methas shaking hands with guest star Junior Panachaileads made me believe that could happen? Fingers crossed, anyway!

The only question I was left with was, why they went into the painting so soon? If it was to stop Punn aging, surely they could have waited a few years, spent it with Pokpong until little bro was grown.

Worth the watch to see Boun’s yearning eyes – so dreamy.

GOOD THRILLER with Good Cast !

There are mysteries that are difficult to solve… and the case of Sarah Kim is a major one. This Korean thriller plunges us into an investigation as elegant as it is dizzying, centered on the mysterious CEO of a luxury empire, linked to an unsolved murder case that everyone seemed to have closed a little too hastily. When a determined detective decides to reopen the case, he immerses himself in a labyrinth of deception where each layer he peels back leads him further into error, to the point of almost losing his mind. I loved the sophisticated direction, the precise writing, the effective format, and above all, the pacing, which didn't bore me for a single second. The mystery is brilliantly constructed: the pieces of the puzzle come together as the investigation progresses, and like the detective, I often found myself swimming in an ocean of clues, faced with multiple leads. Lee Jun-hyuk delivers a solid performance, completely at ease in the role of an investigator obsessed with the truth, while Shin Hye-sun proves once again that she can play any role without flinching, embodying a Sarah Kim who is as fascinating as she is elusive. Between psychological tension, identity play, and a luxurious atmosphere with dark undertones, The Art of Sarah is a gripping thriller that constantly blurs the lines between antagonist and protagonist, keeping us guessing until the very last minute. Frankly, I can only recommend it; it's practically exactly what I needed right now in a crime drama (I should mention that this isn't usually my preferred genre), but it's truly worth watching (a little nod to Celebrity if you enjoyed the world of luxury and deception).
