meh

I gave this series a try because people were hyping it everywhere. I started watching it right after finishing another DMD series that was also really hyped, and I loved that one. But this one? Meh.
The storyline is basic, and so are the characters. The acting isn't great either. There are a lot of awkward pauses and empty moments, and the performances just feel unnatural. It also seems like they were trying way too hard to be funny, but the humor didn't land for me. Dropped it after episode 1

IT WAS MEANT TO BE CRINGE

I don't know why this series has a lower rating than other "cringe" Thai series. This show is meant to give you secondhand embarrassment—it’s supposed to be funny in a cringey way. It's not cringe because it's badly written; it's cringe because that's exactly what it was meant to be, and I love it. I think it deserves a much higher rating:(

I LOVE THIS SERIES SO BAD

I watched this series when I was new into Thai's thingy. I usually watched cheap storyline low-budget Thai's series so when I found this it's like a masterpiece😭😭.
I like how the actors portrayed the characters. Also, how each episodes unfolded the problem step by step so you won't get bored. This is one of my comfort series, TaeTee are so cute🩷

dang

It started off a bit slow for me, especially with the storyline about the terminally ill girl and her dream of traveling. At first, I wasn't sure if it was going to be my kind of drama, and I even considered dropping it.

I'm really glad I stuck with it because it turned out to be such an entertaining and heartwarming watch. The cast delivered incredible performances, and the chemistry between the characters made every episode enjoyable. What surprised me the most was the comedy. Even in the middle of serious or emotional situations, the drama somehow managed to turn them into hilarious, over-the-top, and incredibly badass moments without ruining the emotional impact.

One of the biggest highlights for me was Choi Dae-hoon. He never disappoints with his acting skills. No matter what role he takes on, he always brings so much personality and depth to his character, and this drama was no exception. His performance added so much charm and made many of the funniest scenes even more memorable.

The balance between humor, heartfelt moments, and exciting scenes was done so well that I found myself laughing out loud more times than I expected. It never felt forced, and the characters made every situation memorable.

Overall, this drama completely exceeded my expectations. If you're hesitant because of the slow beginning, I'd definitely encourage you to keep watching, it gets so much better. I will 100% recommend The Wonderfools to anyone looking for a drama that perfectly blends comedy, emotion, and unforgettable performances.

good story however

. The story unfolds in a fantastical realm where political intrigue and personal dilemmas collide. At the center of this tale is a young woman named Elara, whose life is intricately bound to a man named Kael. From the onset, we learn that Elara's family is entangled in a significant debt to Kael’s family, a situation that casts a shadow over her budding feelings for him. The stakes are high; not only is Elara’s heart on the line, but her family’s honor and wellbeing are also at risk.

Elara is portrayed as a strong yet vulnerable character, navigating her emotions amidst her family’s obligations. Her love for Kael grows quietly, woven into the fabric of her daily life, filled with stolen glances and moments of shared laughter. However, the weight of her family's debt looms large, creating a tension that permeates their interactions. The narrative does an excellent job of illustrating Elara’s internal struggle, torn between her feelings for Kael and her loyalty to her family.

As the story progresses, we are introduced to a young king and a ruthless queen, adding layers of complexity to the plot. The king, though young, is depicted as wise beyond his years, skilled in the art of governance and warfare. His relationship with the queen is fraught with tension; she is ambitious and often brutal in her pursuit of power. This dynamic introduces an additional layer of conflict, as Elara becomes unwittingly entangled in the broader political machinations of the kingdom.

The pacing of the story is generally well-executed, maintaining a balance between character development and plot progression. However, there are moments where the narrative feels sluggish, particularly in the middle sections. While the early stages effectively build tension and intrigue, the middle acts occasionally meander, causing the story to lose some momentum.

The climax reveals the true nature of the family’s debt and its implications for Elara and Kael’s relationship. It’s a pivotal moment that ties together the various threads of the narrative, shedding light on the sacrifices that Elara must make. However, it is in this moment of revelation that the story falters for me. The resolution feels somewhat rushed, and the ending lacks the emotional punch that the build-up promises. While I appreciate the complexity of the themes explored—loyalty, love, and sacrifice—the conclusion leaves much to be desired.

Despite my reservations about the ending, the story is rich in detail and character development. Elara’s journey is both relatable and poignant, and the world-building is immersive. The interactions between characters are often sharp and engaging, showcasing the author’s skill in crafting dialogue that feels authentic.

In terms of re-watchability, I would classify this story as a "double watch." It’s an enjoyable experience with enough compelling elements to warrant a second viewing, particularly for those who appreciate character-driven narratives. However, it may not be a top choice for everyone, especially if one seeks a more satisfying resolution.

In conclusion, while this tale offers a captivating exploration of love and duty set against a backdrop of political strife, it ultimately falls short in delivering a fulfilling ending. While it may not be my first choice for repeated viewings, it certainly has its merits, especially for viewers drawn to stories of complicated relationships and moral dilemmas. If you enjoy intricate plots and character studies, this story may still resonate with you, even if the ending leaves something to be desired.

One of the best GLs ever!

I watched Pluto in 2025. I am rewatching it again and I am remembering how great it was.

This is my favourite GL ever and Namtan/Film are just too good. Their acting, chemistry is soo on point in every scene. They make you feel and when it actually makes you feel, you know it's a great GL.

To GMMTV -please make another GL with NamtanFilm,. please don't let go of their potential. They did such great things with Pluto, they can do even better which is wild because Pluto is one of the best GLs out there.

10/10

loved watching it! Freen Becky always deliver and this time as usual the story was also thrilling and exciting to watch. Lom fell first and made Blew fall in love with her. I had some minor faults but after having watched in total on the whole- this is a great watch for almost 10 hours.

Their kissing in ep8 made me almost want to kiss someone lol but their story development also was great to see. They travel a lot (thailand is such a beautiful place), the cinematography is too good. It really should've been few more episodes but at the end they wrap it up pretty great but I would've loved some more angst/pain with lomblew and some more domestic scenes at the end like the special scenes at the end of the air novel.

What makes it worth to watch is FreenBecky. They alone are fabulous but together they just cook up insane chemistry.

10/10 would recommend it to anyone.

Don't miss out

Love for You is one of those dramas that quietly grows on you with every episode. Instead of relying on exaggerated romance, it focuses on healing, childhood wounds, and finding comfort in someone who truly understands you. The story balances emotional moments with mystery and family conflicts, making it more than just a typical love story.
C Drama Review +1
One of my favorite things about this drama is the chemistry between Song Weilong and Zhang Jingyi. Their relationship feels natural and mature, with every interaction carrying so much emotion even without many words. I also loved how both characters slowly heal each other's emotional scars instead of magically fixing everything overnight. Their performances made every heartfelt scene feel genuine and easy to connect with.
C Drama Review
The cinematography is another highlight. The warm color palette, nostalgic atmosphere, and beautifully framed scenes make every episode feel cinematic. The slower pacing gives the story room to breathe, allowing you to connect with the characters and their journey. Overall, Love for You is emotional, comforting, and beautifully written—a drama that reminds you that the right person doesn't erase your pain but helps you carry it.

Agent Kim Reactivated: Mild-Mannered Action Hero

🎬 Quick Take

🔹 Only 4 of the 10 episodes have aired as of this review.

🔹 My standard for rating a drama is simple: writing, directing, and acting are the foundation.

🔹 I started this because a Clark Kent-style office worker with glasses turning out to have a past as a special agent was enough to make me press play.

🔹 Give me a retired special agent forced to use the skills he thought he'd left behind to save his daughter, and I'm in every time.

🔹 Current rating: 10/10.

🔹 Drama Math: Agent Kim is not the only thing that's been reactivated. So did my habit of checking how many days are left until the next episode.

🔹 Would I rewatch? Without hesitation.

🔹 I still think you should watch and decide how it lands for you.

💚 Why You Might Like It

🔹 A Clark Kent-style hero who looks ordinary but clearly has much more going on beneath the surface.

🔹 An action thriller that gives the fight scenes a personal reason to matter.

🔹 A familiar setup that still works because the characters make you care.

📕 Overview

🔹 At the time of this review, 4 of the 10 episodes have aired.

🔹 Adapted from: The Naver webtoon "Manager Kim (김부장)."

🔹 So Ji-sub as Kim Do-hyeon (Manager Kim): A mild-mannered savings bank manager and single father who appears to live an ordinary life, but has a hidden past as a special agent.

🔹 Choi Dae-hoon as Seong Han-su and Yoon Kyung-ho as Park Jin-cheol: Former operatives connected to Kim Do-hyeon's past as he is pulled back into a world he thought he had left behind.

🔹 The story begins when Kim Do-hyeon's daughter goes missing, forcing him to reactivate the skills he once relied on and return to the identity he had left behind.

🌸 How It Felt Watching

🔹 The action pulled me in, but the personal stakes were what kept me invested.

🔹 The setup is familiar: someone with a dangerous past being forced back into action. But sometimes a familiar story done well is exactly what I want.

🎭 Acting

🔹 So Ji-sub was exactly who I wanted to see leading this drama.

🔹 He completely sold the Clark Kent-style office worker hiding a special agent past.

🔹 Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Kyung-ho brought their own personalities to the story, making the team even more fun to watch.

🎨 Visuals & Production

🔹 I liked that the director made the action scenes feel hard-hitting while still keeping the personal stakes front and center.

🔹 The fight scenes felt connected to Kim Do-hyeon's urgency instead of feeling like they were only there to look cool.

🎵 OST

🔹 "GO! GO!" sung by ALPHA DRIVE ONE

🔹 "Your Anchor" sung by Seo Youngju

☕ Tea Notes

🌟 What Worked For Me

🔹 The Clark Kent-style contrast between Kim Do-hyeon's ordinary office-worker image and the skills he had kept hidden.

🔹 The mix of suspense and action kept me looking forward to each episode.

🤔 What Didn't Work For Me

🔹 Ten episodes did not feel like enough, which probably says more about how quickly I got invested than anything else.

☕ SpillTheDramaTea's Rating: 10/10

🌿 Tea-Scale: Reactivated and ready for more

Ok so, I'm giving this a 9.0 because of the last of episode 11, and most of episode 12. I do want to understand why Day broke up with Mhok but it just makes me mad, and don't get me started on how much I hate time skips. Until episode 11 though, its definitely in my top 5. Such an amazing drama. It made me cry, and scream, and squeal. However, I kinda felt that the moment he gets his sight back was kind of underwhelming, I don't know why but I mean, he hasn't seen in years. Would I recommend people to watch this? definitely yes. would I rewatch it? no.

Ignore my review, it's for me to remember why I didn't like it

I review to keep track of what I've watched. I know that I'm the only person that felt this way about the show, so just scroll on.

I couldn't even with this show. I skipped over massive quantities of this show just to finish it. I didn't like any of the characters, not even a little. There should be an infidelity tag, even though it doesn't apply to the leads. A department whose sole purpose is to out people having affairs in the office - what? So many people with wandering eyes. There were many times while watching this that I felt very uncomfortable.

And, this is a personal thing, but if I'm watching a romance, I don't want to get to the end just to hear that the FL doesn't want to get married.

A public health doctor with chronic island trauma faces an acute island heart-flutter alert.

If you don't have time to read the whole thing, skip to the end where the conclusions are :)

Doctor on the Edge introduces us to Do Ji-eui, a plastic surgeon working at a university hospital. To fulfill his mandatory military service, he quits the hospital and becomes a public health doctor. He wants to avoid being stationed on an island, due to the trauma he feels towards islands and the sea. Unfortunately for Do Ji-eui, he is assigned to the remote island village of Pyeongdongdo, a notorious island that every public health doctor would prefer to avoid. There he meets nurse Yuk Ha Ri, who works in the Pyeongdongdo public health department. She used to work at a university hospital, but for some reason, she moved to Pyeongdongdo and now works as a nurse. She is passionate about her work and cares deeply for her patients, but she also harbors a secret.

As a public health doctor in the remote island village of Pyeongdongdo, Do Ji-eui helps the island's inhabitants and learns from them—people full of stories and unique personalities.

This drama presents a very common premise: the typical city protagonist who ends up in a small town and gets involved with one of its inhabitants. But this drama did it differently (at least in the first half). I must say I started watching it without expectations and didn't think I'd like it, because I honestly didn't like Lee Jae-wook's acting. But it changed my mind. I started it because I didn't know what to watch, but from the first episode, I was hooked, and I realized it wasn't what I expected. I watched all four available episodes back-to-back, and I must say I enjoyed them. I loved how it blended small-town situations with medical situations. Then came the week of episodes five and six, and I have to say my rating dropped from a 9 to an 8.5, but I still liked it. Then, in the second half, it seemed like the drama I started watching was replaced by another. I would have liked them to have kept the same pace, but they introduced elements from a romantic comedy. In the second half, tragic events began to unfold, abandoning the comedy that had initially captivated me. It seemed like the writer had something against the other protagonist, as something was constantly happening to him or he was being blamed for something. Another issue was that I felt the protagonists' relationship wasn't explored, or they didn't spend enough time together, because they would argue or drift apart, and their romantic moments would be interrupted, which was disappointing. Overall, I'd give the story a 7.5. /10
It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't what I initially expected, though it still kept me engaged.

The series uses typical small-town characters. I liked the medical team, although Dr. Chi-yeon irritated me at times. I was saddened by the death of Ha-ri's grandmother; these kinds of scenes always affect me, and this one was no exception, especially the scene with the painting.

Here is my analysis of the main characters:

Do Ji-eui (Lee Jae-wook): A former plastic surgeon at a university hospital became a public health doctor in Pyeongdong. Haunted by a deep trauma related to the sea, he gradually overcomes his aversion to island life through his work caring for the local residents.

To be honest, I had never seen a drama starring Lee Jae-wook and avoided the dramas he starred in because his acting didn't appeal to me, but I must say I was surprised. He portrayed a doctor perfectly, and the kindness he showed to his patients was so striking that I think I underestimated him.

Yuk Ha-ri (Shin Ye-eun): A nurse who transferred from a university hospital to a public health center. Beneath her kind exterior, she hides a secret past and begins to falter after meeting Ji-ui, who shares similar wounds.

Just like with Lee Jae-wook, I'd never seen a drama with Shin Ye-eun before, but I must say she did a good job as well. She portrayed a nurse who is kind to her patients. Something that bothered me was how they tried to make her seem selfish at times, since her personality was fine. Although I understand it, given that she suffered the loss of the person she loved most, she still shouldn't have blamed Ji-eui.

Overall, I give the acting a 9.5/10.

I found the soundtrack good and relaxing. Among my favorite songs are "This Is How Love Begins," "What If," and "Love Electric," so I give it an 8/10.

Would I watch it again? Probably not, since the first part disappointed me a lot, and it didn't make me want to watch it again like other dramas have, so I give it a 7.5/10.

NOTE: I was expecting a different ending scene, like everyone reunited or showing how their lives had gone, but oh well. One thing I liked was that at the end of each episode they included different quotes from the episode. Other dramas should do this too.

In short, Doctor on the Edge is one of those rural town dramas that unfolds in a fierce way. It shows us the doctors on remote islands and their struggles and dedication to the series. It mixes romantic comedy in the first few episodes but ends up including the typical sad second part, which is a shame because this could easily have been a 9/10 for me, but in the end I give it an 8/10.

FreenBecky Magic!

The highly anticipated Thai GL series 4 Elements: The Air completely delivers, taking the iconic powerhouse pairing of Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong to thrilling new heights. Moving away from standard romance tropes, this action-packed royal bodyguard drama is arguably their finest work yet.

The FreenBecky Evolution
While their natural, lightning-in-a-bottle chemistry is as electric as ever, it’s their maturity as actresses that steals the show.

Becky Armstrong (Princess Blue): Becky delivers a masterclass in duality and restraint. Commanding the screen with royal poise, she relies on brilliant micro-expressions—subtle shifts in posture and eye contact—to ground her complex, high-stakes character.

Freen Sarocha (Lom): As the fiercely protective police officer, Freen is effortlessly charming. She balances a confident, witty "player energy" with intense, grounded loyalty during the show's high-octane action sequences.

The Verdict
The Standout: The show excels in its quiet moments. The unspoken tension and magnetic eye contact between Freen and Becky communicate more than dialogue ever could.

The Air proves exactly why FreenBecky remains the blueprint for the GL industry. It is a sleek, sophisticated, and deeply emotional ride that shows two phenomenal actresses at the absolute top of their game.
