ATÉ QUE PONTO A INCERTEZA DEVE FAZER PARTE DA HISTÓRIA?

Bom, nem sei exatamente o que dizer sobre esse projeto, apenas que ele é incerto.

A história gira entorno desses dois homens que acabam cruzando o caminho um do outro por uma fatalidade e em meio a isso eles começam a conviver juntos por algum tempo (não sabemos quanto tempo exatamente).

Tudo aqui é incerto. O tempo, motivações, intenções e propósitos. Talvez essa seja a intenção, ser confuso e deixar o publico preencher as lacunas, mas eu não acho que funcionou bem.

As conversas pareciam naturais mas sem propósito, a química física não existia, os beijos fortes de boca fechada eram estranhos e sem encaixe e o final mais confuso ainda.

Para mim foi uma experiência esquecível e sem brilho, mas a paisagem é bonita e consigo ver a tentativa de algo no fundo disso tudo.

I don’t get why people were so harsh with this one

Honestly, I went in with low expectations after reading the reviews, but the series turned out way better than I anticipated. The chemistry between the leads was there, and I genuinely enjoyed the tender and funny moments between them. The story itself was actually pretty engaging.

That said, some criticisms are valid. For example, Save spoke Thai throughout the entire series while everyone else spoke Korean. The whole “Thai Studies Program” setup felt like a forced excuse to include Save despite the language gap, which made things feel out of place. To be clear, I’m not belittling Save, his acting was good, and his character was tender and likable. But if the intention was to set the story in a Thai Studies program, they should’ve either cast a Thai actor fluent in Korean or had the rest of the cast speak Thai. That would’ve made the setup more believable. Personally, I just pretended the leads had some kind of bilingual agreement, which I’d totally be willing to do myself if I ever married a handsome Korean guy… (T_T). Still, the language issue made the beginning feel nonsensical.

Character development, on the other hand, was solid. It didn’t feel rushed, and the cast was good-looking, as expected in a Korean BL. At first, the chemistry felt a little weak, but as the series progressed, it clicked, and I ended up enjoying it. I liked how Jay and Seong Hun had contrasting personalities: Jay being extroverted, open, and talkative, while Seong Hun was more reserved and introverted. Despite their differences, their friendship and trust felt natural in those pre-romance moments.

The budget clearly wasn’t huge, and it showed in some shaky camera work. As for the OST, it didn’t stand out to me. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable either. The ending, though, felt cramped. I wanted to see Seong Hun recover and Jay take care of him after such a traumatic experience, but instead, the focus shifted to showing off their bodies right after the “we almost got cooked alive” arc. Smh. Also, no scar after being punctured? Lol

In the end, I have to admit the series was enjoyable enough, if you can overlook the language issue. It had an interesting concept, handsome leads, and the kisses weren’t bad at all. If you don’t mind the language black hole, I’d recommend it. Would I rewatch it? Probably yes, the plot was interesting enough to pull me back in.

Please Do More Green Flag Roles Khun Perth Because Being In Love Looks GORGEOUS On You

At first glance, Love You Teacher looks like a classic romantic comedy right? It looks like a bright, colorful rom-com filled with laughter and warmth. But as you keep watching, you slowly realize there's something much deeper hidden beneath that cheerful exterior. Its roots reach into the darkest corners of the human heart.

Yes, Love You Teacher is, at its core, a psychological drama.

There were two things that completely kept me invested in this story.

First, Perth's performance as Pobmek. In short, I am floored.

This is a completely new kind of role for Perth. Gone is his "bad boy" image. Here, Pobmek is utterly devoted to the person he loves, a man who wears his heart on his sleeve without the slightest hesitation or embarrassment. Watching Perth step so far outside his comfort zone and make this character feel so believable deserves immense praise.

There's a scene near the end where Pobmek can no longer carry the weight he's been holding inside and finally breaks down in tears. That moment will remain one of my favorite scenes from the entire series.

Second, the real story hidden beneath all the sparkle and comedy. I expected something like this from the pilot trailer but did not expect it to be like this.

Solar's deeply buried childhood trauma, Pobmek's own insecurities born from his relationship with his mother, and Pobmek's unwavering care for Solar throughout his struggles form the emotional backbone of this series.
Looking after someone who is mentally ill is never easy. Long-term caregiving takes an enormous emotional and physical toll on the caregiver as well, especially when the person you're caring for is someone you love. The series portrays this reality with remarkable honesty.

Perth captures every bit of Pobmek's exhaustion, vulnerability, love, and quiet resilience in a way that's incredibly convincing.

Santa has always been one of my favorite Thai actors, and once again he proves exactly why. Playing both a grown-up teacher and the emotional innocence of a seven-year-old child trapped within isn't an easy task, but Santa delivers it beautifully.

PerthSanta pair is godsend y'all. Their intimate scenes did not look forced, they look absolutely at peace by loving each other. They called me out single in 3000 different languages.

The supporting cast, especially Kay Lertsittichai and Sammy Samantha Melanie Coates, are equally wonderful. Sammy remains one of my favorite actresses. If there's anyone in the Thai industry who has a truly natural gift for comedy, it's undoubtedly her. Very few actresses can make comedy feel this effortless.

This is also the first real green flag role for both Perth and Kay, and Kay handled it remarkably well.

The director deserves immense respect for choosing to tell such a sensitive story.

The series beautifully shows how childhood trauma can sink so deeply into our minds that it quietly shapes and sometimes damages our adult lives. Solar had long forgotten the painful memories of his childhood after his first accident, only for them to resurface after the second one. The human brain is a strange place no? It can bury painful memories so deeply that we think we've forgotten them, but it can never erase them completely. And that's exactly what Solar ends up confronting.

Pobmek, on the other hand, grows up under a mother who constantly imposes her own dreams on him while comparing him to others. Those endless comparisons slowly nurture anxiety and insecurity within him. A boy who once loved playing the guitar eventually stops touching it, not because he lost his passion, but because he was afraid of disappointing his mother.

Amid all the comedy, the director quietly leaves behind some beautiful messages. When someone we love is going through a difficult time, we shouldn't abandon them. We should do whatever we can for them, no matter how hard the journey becomes. At the same time, there's no shame in asking others for help when we need it. Most importantly, we have to take care of ourselves first. Only when we're emotionally and mentally well can we truly care for the people we love.

And we should never neglect the child that still lives inside each of us. If needed, seeking professional help isn't a weakness, it's something we absolutely should do.

I think wrapping such a heavy subject inside a comedy was exactly what made it more accessible for the Thai audience.

The only thing that felt a little strange to me was how little the series addressed professional psychological help. Apart from one brief mention, psychologists and therapists were almost entirely absent. And those school kids... they all seemed unbelievably mature for their age. Then again, maybe that's just how kids are these days. Who am I to judge?

The music, color grading, vibrant palette, and slightly eccentric fashion choices were all incredibly interesting and surprisingly well suited to the story's tone. Sammy, especially, looked fantastic. I've never seen a school principal with such colorful fashion, but she carried it with so much confidence that it simply worked.

I'd give Love You Teacher an 8 out of 10.

Among all the series produced by GMMTV, this will undoubtedly remain one of my personal favorites. It may wear the bright clothes of a romantic comedy, but beneath all the laughter lies a deeply compassionate story about trauma, healing, love, and the quiet strength it takes to keep choosing the people who matter most.

And Khun Perth, I know you love to act in action films. But i hope from time to time, you will come back to act like green flag Pobmek who is hopelessly in love with his partner. You should get more green flag roles Khun Perth because being in love looks gorgeous on you.

Bittersweet ending in a way? (30 ep + 5 bts ep)

The story was simple and cute, with I would say a bittersweet end in a way? Sure Nagi decided to stay at the human world with Ritsu but I wonder if in the future if he would still be around? Being a ghost and all.

Them being childhood friends and Nagi liking him since then, only for them to meet up again once he died was sad to learn :(

Maa...with plots involving human x ghost, I shouldn't be surprise by the "happy" ending hahah

Although I do find it funny how the classmates gets shock by the paranormal things Nagi do in class then the following days are normal about it, as if Ritsu didn't just float in class. I WOULD BE THINKING RITSU OR JUST THE CLASS IS HAUNTED LOL

Um universo que vale a pena explorar

“Time Raiders” entrou na minha lista depois que fiquei completamente obcecada por Archives: The Nanyang Mystery e descobri que a história de Zhang Qiling faz parte de um universo muito maior. Foi aí que percebi que teria que maratonar todos os dramas e filmes dessa franquia. E sinceramente? Não me arrependo nem um pouco.

A série é viciante do começo ao fim. Tem mistério, ação, bromance e uma história que te prende a cada episódio. Minha única recomendação é: não assista enquanto estiver comendo... você vai entender o motivo hahahah Também acho que ela merecia muito mais reconhecimento. Talvez não tenha feito tanto sucesso por não ter romance, mas isso passa longe de ser um problema.

Ainda considero Archives: The Nanyang Mystery um pouco melhor, mas Time Raiders não fica muito atrás. Só achei 18 episódios pouco para uma história tão rica. Agora só me resta esperar ansiosamente pela segunda temporada.

It gets better and better

The ML drew me in immediately, he’s like a mix of Ji Bozai from Love in the Clouds, and Duke Su from The Double. The FL took me many episodes to warm up to, it doesn’t help that she always has that startled look on her face literally all the time. As the episodes went on, it got better and better. The acting is truly superb, the costume design mind blowers, and the cinematography beautiful. I’m also obsessed with the song they play at the ending credits. WATCH IT, trust the process, it is a bit lukewarm at the very beginning. I’m about to watch the last episodes and I’m so emotionally invested in these characters, I’ve laughed and cried plenty.

The Loyal Pin, Pure Poetry in Motion

"These kisses might be as faint as the breeze, for they have travelled a long way across the sea, but they are full of love and longing that I have for you in every breath I take." - Princess Anin, episode 7

There are some stories that entertain you, and then there are stories that quietly stay with you long after they've ended. The Loyal Pin belongs to the latter. Ironically, I didn't completely appreciate it during my first watch. I watched this alongside Pluto (2024), and at the time, I found myself enjoying Pluto more. I also felt that The Loyal Pin was slower than I expected, and Becky's performance didn't immediately resonate with me. But after finishing it a second time, I can confidently say I completely misjudged this series. This wasn't just a good drama, it was a masterpiece that deserved my patience.

My second watch made me realize how carefully every scene was crafted. Nothing felt unnecessary anymore. Every lingering glance, every silence, every reunion had a purpose. By the final episode, I cried harder than I expected, not because the ending was tragic, but because I had to say goodbye to Anin and Pin after watching them grow together for what felt like a lifetime. Their story spans nearly twenty years, and unlike many GLs that rely on time skips to tell us characters have changed, The Loyal Pin actually allows us to witness that growth. We meet them as children, watch them navigate childhood, adolescence, separation, longing, adulthood, and eventually a love that survives despite everything. That investment made every emotional payoff feel completely earned.

Princess Anilaphat Sawetawarit (Princess Anin) is probably my favorite GL character to date. Becca Armstrong gave one of the most nuanced performances I've seen in Thai GL. Anin is confident without being arrogant, playful without becoming immature, and incredibly determined while still remaining soft. She carries herself with a quiet authority that naturally commands attention. What I admire most about her is her honesty. She never hides from her own feelings. At a time when women, especially royalty were expected to marry for duty, Anin repeatedly declared she would never marry a man. That wasn't just bold; it was revolutionary for someone of her status.. It courage came from knowing exactly who she was and refusing to compromise that.

Becca's performance elevated Anin beyond the script. Her micro-expressions are phenomenal. Whether it was the relief of her face after learning the wedding had been canceled, the vulnerability when she realized Pin wasn't ready to publicly fight for their love, or the quiet joy after receiving Pin's silver ring, Becky communicates entire conversations with the smallest changes in expression. She somehow balances fierce confidence with incredible softness, making Anin feel like a real person rather than an idealized heroine.

Lady Pin, played by Freen, on the other hand, became the character I appreciated so much more during my rewatch. Pin isn't weak: she's trapped. Unlike Anin, she has very little agency. She's a commoner raised by Anin's family, carrying an overwhelming sense of gratitude and obligation toward the people who gave her everything. She isn't simply choosing between love and duty; she's choosing between her own happiness and the family she believes she owes her entire life to. Her character arc beautifully represents those who feel imprisoned by expectations, tradition, or the fear of disappointing the people they love. Watching her slowly find the courage to choose herself became one of the most satisfying journeys in the series.

Freen's performance deserves just as much praise. She portrays restraint better than almost anyone. Her eyes carry SO MUCH emotions that dialogue never needs to explain. The scene where Pin returns to her room after spending the night with Anin and quietly smiles at herself in the mirror remains one of my favorite moments in the entire series. So much tenderness, disbelief, and happiness are conveyed without a single line of dialogue. Her performance constantly reminded me that strength isn't always loud. Sometimes it's choosing to endure, and sometimes it's finally finding the courage to stop enduring.

What impressed me most was the storytelling itself. The Loyal Pin refuses to rush. In an era where many series accelerate romances to maintain audience attention, this drama confidently slows down. It allows longing to exist. It lets silence speak. It trusts the audience enough to sit with the emotions rather than immediately resolving them. Episode 7 perfectly embodies this philosophy. Princess Anin's letters transformed an ordinary long-distance separation into one of the most romantic portrayals of yearning I've ever seen. The sequence where Pin imagines Anin in her bedroom, combined with Anin's narration, felt less like watching television and more like reading poetry come to life. It demonstrated longing with such sincerity that I found myself completely overwhelmed.

The series also deserves immense credit for how it develops its romance from childhood. Many dramas tell us that characters are soulmates. The Loyal Pin actually proves it. Watching Anin discover every small token of Pin's love that had quietly accumulated over the years made me realize how deeply these two had shaped each other's lives. Their relationship wasn't built through dramatic declarations but through countless ordinary moments that gradually became extraordinary. That's why the romance feels so believable. We aren't simply told they love each other, we spend sixteen episodes understanding exactly why.

Visually, this drama is breathtaking. Every frame feels intentional, from the elegant cinematography to the beautiful historical settings and carefully composed shots. The music never overwhelms the emotions but gently carries them forward. The direction understands restraint, allowing emotions to unfold naturally instead of forcing them. After visiting Wawa House (Bangkok, Thailand), the filming location back in May 2026, I appreciated even more how beautifully the production team transformed every space into something timeless.

The supporting cast deserves recognition too. Prik (P'nam) brings warmth and humor without ever feeling like comic relief for the sake of comedy. Prince Anan is the kind of ally every queer story deserves. Lady Aon and Uangfah reminded me that The Loyal Pin isn't only about romance but also about women supporting women in a patriarchal society. Their stories add another emotional layer that makes the world feel complete.

As someone who primarily consumes sapphic media, I honestly don't think I've watched anything quite like The Loyal Pin. There have been countless beautiful heterosexual period romances throughout film and television, but very rarely are lesbian love stories given this same level of care, patience, and artistic devotion. This series allows two women to fall in love through lingering glances, letters, yearning, quiet conversations, and years of unwavering devotion without ever making their relationship feel secondary to the plot. Their love is the story.

More than anything, The Loyal Pin reminded me why representation matters. Not simply because it's a GL, but because it tells a queer love story with the same elegance, scale, and emotional depth that countless classic romances have received for decades. Every frame feels lovingly crafted. Every character feels fully realized. Every emotional beat is earned.

I could honestly write pages more about this series. It's become one of my greatest shows, and one I'll return to again and again. To me, The Loyal Pin is more than one of the best Thai GLs ever made. It's pure poetry.

The Loyal Pin is a timeless love story that could be told a hundred years from now and still move people. It deserves to be remembered not only as an important GL, but as one of the most beautiful romance dramas ever created.

Satisfying

The moral dilemma of placing Hansu and Jincheol in a scenario where they had to kill their friend to save their children was a compelling one, but you just knew our trio of leads would have something up their sleeve. It was very noticeable that the fence was gradually giving way as Mr. Kim took a beating.

One of the most satisfying aspects of the finale was characters getting sweet revenge on their tormentors, or the tormentors getting what was coming to them. Glad we didn’t get a quick 5 minute ending, and it lasted for more than 20 minutes. I was getting nervous when everything was tied up so well with time remaining.

"I think it'll be fun. This life wasn't much fun anyway." That about sums up, Kim Minji. The final third of the episode allowed Mr. Kim and Minji to spend some quality time together. I've consistently felt that their father-daughter relationship has been one of the strongest dramatic elements in this drama, and that Seo Sumin girl is a star in the making.

But the drama's heart and soul has been the friendship between our lead trio. Overall, this drama has been a fun ride, featuring some dynamic action sequences and amusing banter, despite the slightly uneven storyline.

this is one of the masterpieces

this drama is such an underrated masterpiece! the plot is absolutely stellar — every single episode has something meaningful going on, so it never loses your interest and keeps you hooked from start to finish. there are no plot holes to nitpick, and no scenes that feel dragged out just to extend the runtime. while some small moments might feel predictable at first, they’re almost always followed by a huge, shocking plot twist you won’t see coming. what i love most is the queen at the center of it all: she’s not just a strong, capable ruler — she’s also such a wonderful, loving mother. this is honestly a must-watch historical drama.

Locked Room Drama

Went searching for this one in the internet archive after finding out that they have Japanese dramas on their as well. 10 years later, the drama still holds up.

As a Procedural / Puzzle Solver drama it has limited focus on character development and focuses on the competency of Kei Enomoto (Satoshi Ohno), a security worker and lock fanatic, Junko Aoto (Erika Toda), a new lawyer who's emotions often propel the plot towards taking cases, and Gou Serizawa (Koichi Sato), the skeptical ambitious senior lawyer who often helps provide comic relief.

While I enjoy crime dramas, I am a sucker for more campy procedural crime dramas. I enjoyed the shows focus on "Locked Room Murders." Just like other procedurals, there are limited time in the episodes, so there are limited suspects. The drama does a good job of keeping the audience engaged on the "how" more than the just the "who." More than just the talent on screen, I also enjoyed the editing and music. The scores are excellent and are also used as identifying cues in multiple ways in each ways. There are dramatic cuts in scenes and music scores to keep the audiences attention. Finally of course there is the outro that includes one of ARASHI's songs (Face Down) each episode.

It was entertaining and mostly light hearted. 9.5/10 - I re-watched it, didn't I?
