Bored Out Of My Mind

Story: The story is great, in my opinion. I just feel like the episodes do not do it justice. I was hooked the first three episodes, but after that, I was fighting sleep. Seeing all the comments about the novel, I will definitely give that a try. I am sure I will enjoy the novel a thousand times more.

Acting: I honestly felt the actors had no chemistry (I know, I'm sorry). The kiss scenes were stiff and made me a bit uncomfortable. The only one who ate down with the acting for me was North (he was not an eyesore), but Arthit and Jonah standing outside in leather jackets smoking was the cringiest, worst acting performance I've seen in a while. The child actor who played Emma performed circles around the main cast. She ate down!

Music: The music was boring, which went great with the show.

Overall: This was a miss for me.

Disappointing

Disappointing. For a show that’s supposed to be driven by revenge, the resolutions for both the main antagonist and his daughter felt seriously underwhelming. Yes, he loses his business, but we never see the fallout. He gets stabbed, yet we don’t get that moment of fear or realization that would make the payoff cathartic. His daughter runs away and is arrested, but once again there’s no real resolution.

What frustrates me most is that her father took a situation that could’ve been handled and completely spiralled it out of control. A scene showing how his attitude destroyed both their lives would’ve added so much weight. They’re monsters, I didn’t expect them to suddenly see the error of their ways but at least show us the consequences of their downfall. Let us feel their world collapsing.

Despite that, it was still a decent watch. I love an overpowered protagonist, and the dynamic between the three leads was genuinely great. I also wish the three children had more screen time, every one of them was fantastic.

It's about Love, Trust & Dream

As someone who has been a fan of Yu Shuxin for more than seven years, I've watched almost 90% of her dramas. It's been wonderful to witness her growth over the years. Whether it's her acting, singing, variety show appearances, or even the way she promotes her dramas, she keeps improving with every project. What I admire most is her positive attitude and endless energy. She's always warm and friendly to her co-stars and the people around her, and she's well known for coming up with creative ideas to promote her work.

Road to Success (灿如繁星) is another exciting challenge for her. With sports, suspense, healing, and coming-of-age themes, plus a slow-burn romance, it's quite different from her previous dramas. To be honest, these aren't usually my favorite genres, so I didn't have very high expectations at first. But after watching a few episodes, I found myself becoming more and more invested in the story.

This drama isn't just about romance. It beautifully explores friendship, family, mature love, dreams, and personal growth. Football isn't only the main setting... it represents passion, perseverance, and the courage to keep chasing your dreams. The chemistry between Yu Shuxin and Chen Jingke develops naturally and gradually, making their relationship feel authentic. Both characters have strong personalities that are deeply shaped by their past experiences.

What I appreciate most is how the story also touches on psychology, sportsmanship, trust, professionalism, teamwork, and healing. Every character got their spotlight here, continues to grow, making the story feel rich and engaging instead of one-dimensional. It reminds us that healing from past trauma, overcoming fear, and finding the courage to move forward are all part of life's journey, whether those challenges come from family, friendships, or our dreams.

I truly believe Road to Success deserves far more attention. Releasing it during the World Cup season makes the football theme feel even more meaningful. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the story and every character continue to develop.

"Quanti criminali dobbiamo pestare?"
"Tutti."

Buon divertimento.

Still Holds Up on a Rewatch

Watching Lawless Lawyer for the second time, and it's just as addictive as I remembered. The mix of courtroom drama, action, revenge, and just the right amount of humor keeps the pacing tight from start to finish.
Lee Joon-gi completely owns the role of Bong Sang-pil—charismatic, sharp, and effortlessly cool. His chemistry with Seo Ye-ji is natural and engaging, making the romance a welcome addition without overshadowing the main plot. The villains are memorable, the fight scenes are well choreographed, and the story never feels like it's dragging.
Rewatching only made me appreciate the clever writing and the emotional moments even more. It's one of those rare dramas that's just as entertaining the second time around.

it had it all! watch it!! :)

I really did enjoy age Kim reactivated! For me it was a bit of a slow start but there were so many good points. There was laughing, there was crying, there was found family moments with how friends all stuck together through it all!

I just think it was such a good K drama I haven’t actually watched these actors before, but I think I’ll be going back looking at their previous work as well!!

The storyline was really clever though, but can someone tell me what actually happened in the end? I’m presuming the construction evil guy died or to prison?

What was with the friend that he rang up and asked for a favour and then he said I’m not cheap.. It will cost you and he said I know and then at the end the job interview?? is it setting up for a possible season two if it’s successful???

I can’t decide how I feel about that I feel like maybe the characters work so well together I obviously want to see more of them, but I’m not sure whether they’ll be able to spin it off with the friend and agent Kim doing it again. I feel like it might get cheesy…? But obviously if they do a season two, I will watch it cheesy or not haha.

Overall, a great drama with a bit of everything in it and I would definitely recommend this drama.

"3 Middle Aged Man With Glasses Stole the Show"

Agent Kim Reactivated is an exhilarating action thriller that delivers excitement from its opening episode to its satisfying finale.

The story maintains a strong pace, balancing intense action with heartfelt character moments.

"So Ji-sub" commands every scene with his powerful and charismatic performance as Agent Kim, while "Choi Dae-hoon" and "Yoon Kyung-ho" provide excellent support with natural chemistry and memorable performances.

The action sequences are energetic, well-staged, and consistently entertaining.

Beyond the action, the drama succeeds because of its teamwork, emotional core, and engaging storytelling.

If you're looking for a thrilling series with great characters and a rewarding ending, this is an easy recommendation.

"There is always a force that breaks through the darkness and grows upward towards the light"

This is the best modern drama I've watched in 2026. Road to Success 《灿如繁星》. Lin Wanxing became the brightest star in the lives of the students and Wang Fa. She unknowingly healed them when she herself was trapped in her past. Lin Wanxing could have been the evil person to get her revenge, but she didn't choose that path. She chose the greatest and kindest path: "worrying about others when you yourself are stuck." This drama taught me that as long as you have enough willpower, you will never truly give up. Even when you feel like giving up and feel like everything is going down and you just don't want to continue anymore, you need to remember that "life is precious." Nothing is enough to give up life; there are still people who love us and want us to be happy. Road to Success told us that life doesn’t really get bad, it's just us who are hurt. Life will always give us something good. Even if there is suffering and pain, life will always give us a meaning to keep moving forward in one way or another. So, nothing is truly worth giving up life. Also, Wang Fa was the greenest flag ever. He could have proposed to her—everything was perfect—but he truly wanted Lin Wanxing to be herself for once. He wanted her to fulfill all her own dreams before she became the wife of Wang Fa. This drama is such an empowerment to all the girls out there too. It tells us that even if there is gossip and rumors, only you yourself truly know if you have a clear conscience.Lin Wanxing said: "A broken butterfly can never fly again. However, today, I'm standing here for one exact reason: I must announce to you, Xiang Zi, that I do not fear you. On behalf of every woman being victimized by sexual rumors, I am here to tell you loud and clear that we do not fear you and your kind. Your failure resulted because of your incompetence. You crushed the woman you couldn’t get. You destroyed the competitor you couldn’t beat. Each and everything you did was only to conceal your inadequacy and jealousy. And I, why should I ever fear someone so incompetent like you? The fact that I'm standing here today means you've already lost." This speech was the best of the best. It tells us how society acts towards women. Also, Wang Fa being there listening to her was the best decision because it shows how much he supported her and wanted her to break free from that trauma. Being a woman doesn't mean people can slander and insult you. We should not fear these people; we should tell them that we are not the kind they think we are.Moving on, I really love the bond between the students and the teachers. Lin Wanxing and Wang Fa raised those kids up, made them independent and happy. They were the supportive parents some of the kids never got. Lin Wanxing and Wang Fa made them realize their worth. Also, I really want to mention the students. They were really the definition of working hard towards your dream. Even when they disbanded, didn't have a coach, and everything was going bad, they never truly gave up. Somewhere deep down in their hearts, football always existed, and it was for winning every match they played. Another honorable mention in this drama is Wang Fa's family. They were so cute and heartwarming, no wonder Wang Fa is such a good man.Ok, this is long enough now. I just want to say that we as humans have the right to choose. We should choose what we like, and our parents should also support us in what we like. And no matter how bad things get, we should never give up. The future will hold something good for us, so we should look forward to it.

sorry not sorry I absolutely hated every single thing about this drama, I hated every single character, every forced drama, every "stereotypically" Chinese personality, overreacting, and literally fights for no reason at all, and those disgusting "friends" who are always in Chinese dramas that poke their noses in everything but their own business, and the sister who thinks she's the leader of the world, and the mc who can't make a single right decision, and it was too long for such a little plot and storyline which made it hella boring I was skipping using that line which tells you how much u watched of the episode instead of skipping with 5 and 10 seconds. the last two episodes were so useless that I literally used that line 4 times in it and each time was a quarter then I went to the next ep and did the same to finish quickly. worst drama ever

Splendid indeed

Really loved Gu Jinzhao, so smart and sensible. She had a good head on her shoulders. The way she handled Ye Xian and how they became great friends and how she protected and took care of Lan even after everything that happened was really admirable. Little emperor was also a delight to watch. Could a kid really mature and become wise that fast? 😅 Loved Ye Xian's story and character. He made a lot of people cry. Although the ending wasn't that satisfying and felt like they jumped from one scene to another, it was forgiveable considering how good the story and characters were.

Honestly I had no problem with it at the beginning but then I was like "why are people so hung up on sex?"
Also I got spoiled of the ending and I was like "poor kazuaki" cuz wdym your best friend which you really find precious and cherish him just doesn't see you as just a friend. I mean it's okay that he doesn't see kazuaki as just a friend but even after kazuaki pushed him away gently and saying indirectly that he's basically asexual and just doesn't see him more than best friends he still pushed boundaries and just thought about himself. Now kazuaki is left all alone just because he's only asexual and no one understands him, that sad fact about kazuaki is just blurred and hidden by the "happiness" the watchers gets because the main characters get together at the end of the drama so it's a happy ending. but it became a really sad story for kazuaki and I don't think that his best friend is really a good person either. he just finds mc "loveable" and likes him because he allows him to have sex together. I don't really think it's love between them but just desire for sex and also like relief and happiness that they're allowed to do it with each other but barely any real romance other than physical attraction and similarity in their struggle with sex.

All style, no substance

95% of the show is just people slow-walking through an apocalyptic landscape with dramatic yellow lighting and hair covering half their faces.

Great acting across the entire cast, though. Otherwise, this show would have been doomed.

The OST is pretty weak.

For me, the only moments that really stood out were the fight against the shaman guardian spirit and the primordial spirit shot.

The male lead kinda has a little spirit pet. It's cute.

I absolutely loved Love in the Clouds! Hou Ming Hao was amazing and brought so mmuch charm to Ji Bo Zai that I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. The OST was beautiful and fit every scene perfectly… it made all the emotional moments even more memorable. I also really enjoyed the plot because it was sweet, engaging, and kept me looking forward to every new episode. This is definitely one of those dramas I’ll be thinking about for a long time! I highly recommend it.

A Tangled, Heart-Wrenching Progression of Love and Healing

Fourever You: Part 2 — A Tangled, Heart-Wrenching Progression of Love and Healing
If the first part of Fourever You was about laying the groundwork for friendship and tentative romance, Part 2 dives headfirst into the messy, emotional deep end. Moving beyond the core dynamics of Easter and North, this installment shifts its lens to the surrounding friend group—proving that love rarely arrives without baggage, secrets, or a heavy dose of emotional stakes.
By weaving three distinct storylines together, Part 2 offers a richer, more mature exploration of grief, reconciliation, and the terrifying jump from safety to intimacy.
I absolutely loved this series, so sad its finished 😟
