From Skeptic to Fan: Why These Short BL Series Won Me Over ?✨
I first discovered GND Studio while watching Love in Protocol. That led me down a rabbit hole—from one KBL short to another—and I quickly realized how much I enjoy the ones produced by them. The quality is honestly impressive, especially for such short series.I used to avoid short-form dramas because I’ve always preferred longer series. But somehow, I found myself binge-watching these. Why? They’re easy to watch, straight to the point (no dragging or unnecessary filler), yet still deliver on chemistry, fluff, and even the occasional really good kiss. Plus, the actors—despite being relatively new—do a great job.
I came across this particular series through GND, and I was hooked almost instantly. Within five minutes, I was already laughing. It stayed genuinely funny for a good 15 minutes or so—lighthearted, fun, and full of warmth. There’s no major plot twist or heavy storyline, but it works really well for its length.
If you’re into intense or toxic dramas, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for something fun, fluffy, and feel-good… this one might just warm your soul 💛

Powerful storytelling doesn't use tropes as a crutch. It adds depth to well-known premises.
Look, is this the first drama of it's kind? Certainly not. But that doesn't deter Phantom Lawyer from being a damn good series. The characters have depth and so far the show's pacing has been great at balancing solving the cases and peeling back the layers of the leads as characters. The cases themselves are surprisingly compelling and that gives the viewers something great to be preoccupied with while the overarching story concerning the male lead and his ties to the company where the female lead works slowly starts to form.
I'm excited to see this series progress!

NO ANNOYING CHARACTERS
This is way better than Fangs of Fortune I'm just wishing the director will not waste such baeutiful creative plots/story line and characters like all his other CDRAMA otherwise that would be so annoying and boring because all CDARMA especially ones like fantasy settings always gets bad endings IT'S SO BORING NOW since everyone is doing the same, so please director and screenwriter don't waste this piece of art you've created please find a CREATIVE way to end it!!!! because I find this drama everything is so good (I've watched all the fantasy ones I gotta say this one is my favourite since it passed all the checklist - PLOT - STORYLINE - how they represent it (not boring) - most - CHARACTER (LIKE OMG NO ONE IS ANNOYING LIKE CRAZY STUPID ANNOYING LIKE MOST CDRAMA fantasy ones that always have those characters - ACTING (this part is so good) - OST ( there's this one theme music that they play it's so magical and majestic THIS IS WHAT KEPT ME INTERESTED AS WELLCet avis était-il utile?
Just start the first episode… you’ll know what you’re about to witnes...
First of all, if anyone is still wondering if it’s good or not, it is good. Brilliant. No doubt about it.
But you have to go in with the right mindset. This drama is dark, truly dark. Your heart has to be strong enough to handle it. This isn’t for everyone.
If you’re strong-hearted and want to experience what true, generational-level performance looks like, the absolute peak, this drama is it.
This is not just a simple thriller. It goes much deeper than that. The motivation, the layers, and the way the story unfolds pull you in and never let go. It shows how far the human mind can go, and how terrifying it can become. A devil, a psychopath, so extreme that at times it feels unreal. You question it, you wonder if someone like this can even exist. But then it hits you… yes, people like this do exist. They think like this. They live like this.
At the same time, this drama teaches you a lot about strong women, about judgment, and about the decisions we make. It’s one hell of a ride. Something I know I won’t forget.
What I loved the most is how engaging this drama is. It never slows down. From beginning to end, it stays intense, sharp, and tightly directed. It doesn’t lose grip for even a moment. You remain fully invested throughout every episode, not a single scene feels like a waste of time.
The editing pattern is brilliant. It never feels abrupt or out of place. Every transition flows naturally, and that makes the storytelling even more immersive. The investigation part is also very well done. It’s not rushed, it takes its time, but it keeps building tension and keeps giving you something new, something to hold on to.
The way everything is structured, the locations, the atmosphere, it all feels very raw and real. There is a certain genuineness in the way the story is presented. The production quality is also top-notch. Honestly, I feel like I loved everything about this drama. There isn’t one specific thing I can say I didn’t like.
The acting? Absolutely insane. Top-tier. The lead actor delivered a performance that was terrifying, nail-biting, and brilliant. And the female lead, wow. The way she expressed emotions just through her eyes, that’s next level.
There are moments where you even find yourself rooting for him, hoping he’s not truly a monster. But the writer had a clear vision from the start, how this character should be portrayed and where his journey should lead. And they executed it perfectly, without any hesitation or compromise.
As for the ending, I’ll be honest, I didn’t fully like it at first. I wanted something more brutal, more final. But then I understood the intention. The point wasn’t to simply end him. Because people like him don’t really disappear. The mindset doesn’t die. Even if one person is gone, what they leave behind, the damage, the impact, that remains.
Instead, the story chose to focus on something more powerful, the strength of the victims. How they survive, how they rebuild their lives, and how they find a way to live again with their loved ones, even after going through something so drastic. That’s the real message.
Still, a part of me wanted more. I genuinely wish it had 30 or even 40 episodes because it was that engrossing. The character development was so strong, I didn’t want it to end. But at the same time, it concluded on a powerful note, something that will stay with you for a long time.
It explores obsession, possessiveness, and the psychology of a psychopath, how he thinks, how he behaves, and what he does to satisfy his needs. It shows everything without hiding or diluting anything.
And that’s what makes it special.
No unnecessary compromises. No weakening of the core story. Just pure, focused storytelling.
This is cinema. This is how you tell a story.
So yeah, go watch it. Absolutely. 🔥

The premise is intriguing with He Si Mu in the power position as the head of all spirits, toying with a human general and then falling in love with him.
But, that's the only intriguing thing about it. There doesn't seem to be much overarching plot or themes. On the acting, I don't buy that Arthur Chen is a general who has killed 100s of people, I don't see any chemistry between the two main leads. The cinematics and aesthetics are a bit off putting and ugly.
I really wanted something to watch so I was forcing myself to give this a try, but it's really not worth it. I'm dropping.

A sweet love story
This was so good and as someone who already read the whole novel i can say that they really did well in keeping up with novel. Last 5-6 episodes were the best and last 2 episode are a treat for viewers. While they had to cut back lot of scenes from novel but they also adjusted some of the novel parts too well within those 30 episodes. Except the mid episodes from 15-18 all the episodes are really good.Yes while is slow paced, the novel itself is slow paced but after leads gets into relationship their is no turning back, no misunderstanding, no third wheel. so yeah last episodes are the best. Even SML doesn't feel like an annoyed character after ep 20 onwards. Best part is that they even adapted the chapters that were part of extra chapters in novel which is great.
Miles Wei as usual was awesome in acting as a fox ML🤣
Zheng He Hui Zi portrayal of Ruan Yu was also good and i cant find flaw in her acting. She acting really well.
Li Jun Xian as Liu Mao was the best crime-in partner for ML and the biggest supporter too for his love story. His acting from the start was fab 👍
Li Ge Yang as Li Shi Can also did great despite i feel quite annoyed by his character in mid episodes. But by last episodes i also felt that his character was good and he portray it quiet well. I so wanted to see him getting moved on from his unrequited love🤭.
Btw during wedding ceremony i missed the appearance of Zhou Jun, the lady lawyer and the ML co-worker/assistant. They were there in the story from start so i missed them being not part of their pre-wedding quiz & wedding time.
Anyone who want to watch will quiet enjoy it except if you have to skip then can skip those 15-20 episodes as skipping those won't make any difference to story plot.
Overall, i really enjoyed this as a cute, fluffy rom-com even though they skip some of parts of novel but still managed to cover up all characters arc. A solid 9.0 from side 🥳

Our Generation: A youth, Growth, Heartbreaking, Yet Healing Story✨♥️
The first half of this drama is absolutely full of teenage vibes. I really adore the friendship within the Qunshan gang. The atmosphere they created reminded me so much of what pure, youthful friendship feels like. The kind where you just want to protect and support your friends no matter what. It makes you believe that as long as there’s someone behind you who believes in you, who cares about you, you can get through anything. The Qunshan friendship truly makes you believe that “human love” can be that beautiful😌✨💗I really loved Yingtao’s character. The way Zhao Jinmai portrayed her captured that essence of a 16-year-old girl perfectly. Her little gestures, her reactions, the way she talk, the way she loves, it took me back to that feeling of having a crush as a teenager😳👉🏻👈🏻 You know... when just making eye contact is enough to make your heart race, and you can’t wait for tomorrow just to see that person again. That kind of innocent, overwhelming feeling.
For Qiaoxi, at first, I didn’t really like his character. Just like Qin Yeyun said, I thought he was a bit of a coward. But after watching eps 12, seeing Qiaoxi finally let out all his pain completely broke my heart💔 Once you understand how heavy his life has been—how he’s been controlled his entire life, forced to live in someone else’s shadow, living a life that is technically his but never truly felt like his own—you can’t help but feel sorry for him. Because, who wouldn’t become a coward in that situation? Who wouldn’t break under that kind of pressure? Who wouldn’t lose control of themselves?
Qiaoxi, I forgive your avoidant attitude because if it were me, I would do the same thing🫂
And Qiaoxi’s mother… I know she’s broken, trapped in her past, living with loss and pain. Her heart can no longer be whole as before. But Qiaoxi was never meant to replace someone else. I tried to empathize, but I really couldn’t accept her actions. Losing a child is heartbreaking, but it doesn’t make it right to becoming overly control freak to the point she destroying another child’s life. She’s simply too toxic🙅🏻♀️⛔
Next, I really appreciate how Yuqiao and Qin Yeyun were written. They’re not the typical characters who turn “evil” just because their love isn’t returned. Instead, they remain rational, kind, and human🌬️ Yuqiao loves Yingtao, but because he knows Yingtao loves Qiaoxi, he often helps her, even when it involves Qiaoxi. And Qin Yeyun, who loves Yuqiao, quietly accepts that her feelings aren’t returned and still maintains a good relationship with Yingtao, although she was a bit cold at first. So, it's like they push each other the person they like to chase the person themself like😌 That kind of emotional maturity is so refreshing to see✨ I love emotional intelligent person🧎🏻♀️
Actually, I love Yuqiao more than Qiaoxi lmao😌🤣🧎🏻♀️
Only Yingtao who can love Qiaoxi😌🥀
And...
The. Most. ✨PHENOMENAL PART✨ In. This. Drama.
THE HONGKONG ARC😭💔🥀🫂
Their raw acting, the feeling, the emotional breakdowns, tremble voices, ZLH with his worn-out look and broken aura, ZJM's desperate, they are peak! Zhao Jinmai’s tantrum is so intense. Every her word is something I want her to say. Every single line of dialogue in this arc hits hard.
Their acting gave me chills. This Hongkong arc made me raise up my rating from 8.5 to 9.0!💔👏🏻
Which is why THAT 7.9 RATING REALLY ANNOYS ME🧐😒 it deserves AT LEAST AN 8. In fact, both Zhang Linghe and Zhao Jinmai delivered outstanding performances here👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (note: before watching Our Generation, I had already watched the drama The Princess Royal and I was amazed because I didn't see Linghe and Jinmai as their old characters but in these new characters).
From acting, plot, character development, to cinematography—this drama really doesn’t lack anything.
Oh, there are only two lacks on this drama.
First, I heard that it was originally supposed to be 40 episodes, but then it was cut down to 24😭 Why do good dramas always have a short duration, while dramas with ... always have a large number of episodes..
And the second, is the fact that I missed out on hyping this drama😖💔 when everyone else has finished hyping this drama, I just got in🥀
But it's okay. Because this drama didn’t just pass by—it stayed. It left a mark on my heart😌💯✨
This is a kind of drama that feels gentle on the surface, makes you nostalgic about how beautiful the pure feeling was🌬️🍃 but carries deep emotional weight underneath. If you love slice of life, youth, and growth stories, mixed with romance where there’s honestly more suffering than happiness😂💫 but still give you a "happy ending"—you’ll probably love this drama as much as I do.

Despite flaws in the writing & editing, worth it for its angsty romance with obsessed male lead
This Wuxia drama is centred around the epic romance between Cai Zhao and Chang Nin with the main focus being if they will manage to build their own path, overcoming the past of their respective previous generations burden or will they be drowned by the weight of those family and clan ties.Overall, I truly had a great time watching this series. The beginning felt a bit butchered because potentially of the edits the production team had to make to fit the proper authorized number of episodes in order to get Chinese governmental approval for release. The middle part and the core of the story was amazing in taking the viewer through a great journey, driven by the passion of Chang Nin for Cai Zhao. They went through a lot and their relationship took various turns, with at his core the fiery (and insane) determination of the male lead of not letting go of the heroine, at all costs, morale and rationale be damned.
The chemistry between Zhou Yi Ran and Bao Shang En, as the main roles, was solid (even if I would have loved to see more skinship to match the intensity of the characters feelings). Zhou Yi Ran demonstrated an amazing range of emotions, a masterclass of acting as the obsessed male lead that you cannot help to fall in love with. There were also a solid gallery of secondary characters with some memorable scenes.
I would recommend this to people looking for a romance between a devilishly cunning male lead and a sassy heroine. Despite a butchered introduction arc and a flawed ending, it is worth a watch for the captivating romance between the leads.

One of the of the most worst dramas
This is one of the worst dramas. Firstly...how is Chi Cheng's father able to control him like he did forcing him to marry.. He is an adult with his own independence . He has no reason to submit himself to his fathers absurd demands.. Secondly... it is well apparent to any one that the finance chosen by his family is fake and only wants to become a part of the family so that she can have an extravagant life style without any efforts/hard work,Then... when Chi Cheng's ex comes back he is able to emotionally manipulate him and make him emotional by faking that he wants them to re-unite though it was because of what he did that Chi Cheng's childhood bond with Guo Cheng Yuo had fallen apart. He caused such a rivalry between both of them which carried on for several years.
Wang Shuo still had Chi Cheng dancing on the tip of his fingers. He so clearly faked it because of his jealousy that Chi Cheng had moved on...His ex's attempt of trying to harm himself by holding the snake was so childish and fake which was clearly recognizable..yet Chi Cheng falls for it and saved him...Due this; his ex was able to prove to Wei that he still had and will always have an irreplaceable place in his Chi Cheng's heart which Wei could not and would never be able to replace. He falls for his ex absurd behavior ...He is shown to be an exceptional person with unique capabilities and a successful person.. why was he not able realize that his ex was doing that so that he could prove to Wei Wei that he still loved him.
He is still so very emotional towards his ex and not bring himself to deny having any lingering love/feelings for ex who was just manipulating him. ..but when Chi Cheng was imprisoned for tax evasion though Wei Wei had not caused it...he was very. easily ..without any hesitation able to tell him that he hated him.....
The drama had a forced happy ending. His ex did not deserve it but he also able to find a stable partner with his stepbrother.

I was not expected to be this good. I like the storyline, cinematography, plot especially the main lead actress tungpang and Jessie they're really great actress one word that I can say it's a "MASTERPIECE" series honestly I was shocked too because this series made from Original script not based on book or novel, monomax production is so good the best company.Cet avis était-il utile?
Light-hearted and predictable with above-average acting and a dash of cheesiness
I was looking for a cute and fluffy rom-com, and thought “Dating Game” sounds like one. It turns out to be more of a light business romance than a fluffy romance. However, it is still a light watch. The plot is quite predictable, the game is a little cheesy but the romance is sweet.Let’s start with the Dating game app itself. I should not be surprised in this day and age that there are more and more dramas about AI, gaming and being obsessed with it. When the game “Yuka! Love Me Please” as introduced, it didn’t seem too horrible an idea, as there are many lonely people in the world. What’s cringey is actually the name of the game, “Yuka! Love Me Please”. You can’t find a better name? Luckily, Yuka-chan is adorable and our male lead, Hill, is very likable. However, seeing a bunch of guys singing and dancing too the game’s theme song at the farewell party was a little too much.
Yuka-chan continues to play a very important role in this drama. She’s like the female lead. As I said, she’s adorable and I really don’t mind Hill’s interaction with her. The drama also focuses a lot on the development of the new game. This is not a surprise, but the whole process of “missions”, fake dating and that crappy game prototype are all quite cheesy. But we need these “missions” for the two couples to get together and eventually overcome traumatic experiences and prejudices.
The two romances are different but sweet. Hill and Junji have a slower-burn romance with many sweet moments. They are the more reserved couple. Phat and Bay’s romance moves a lot faster and they are definitely the couple who are more comfortable with kisses and intimate scenes. Both couples have decent chemistry, though I wouldn’t say sizzling hot. Although the drama is not giving me a lot of cute and fluffy scenes, it does satisfy the romance lover in mind.
The best thing about this drama is for me to re-discover March (who plays Hill). Apparently I saw him in “The Sand Princess” before, but I don’t remember him at all. March is not the most handsome nor the cutest actor out there, but there’s something about him that makes me like him a lot. His acting is natural and comfortable, and the best of the cast, seeing he’s an experienced actor. But it appears this is his first BL. His partner, Mukai Koji is also an experienced (non-BL) actor in Japan. He’s mixed but definitely a lot more fluent in Japanese than Thai. When speaking Thai, he does sound like a foreigner, a little monotone with many pauses in between. His acting is not as good as March, but he seems more comfortable as the drama goes. Fluke and Judo have been BL partners for a few projects, so they are not unfamiliar with each other or the intimate scenes.
Another nice thing about this drama is the gang of lovely and supportive co-workers and family members. They are a fun bunch that offers some comic relief, but also don’t take too much screentime. Speaking of comedy, what is up with the ugly hairstyles for Fluke and Victor. The stylist also has some very interesting choices for Fluke to wear.
“Dating Game” is a simple and light-hearted drama. It’s good if you watch it in the background but as a whole, this drama is average. I didn’t rate it lower because I really enjoy March and the overall acting of the cast, and how lovely everyone is. The drama is actually longer than it should be, with a few episodes over an hour long. It does serve the purpose of helping me destress.

Boring
This might be a hot take because I know this show has good ratings but honestly it was pretty damn boring. The first 6 episodes were good but then the show just got increasingly more bland and predictable. I will say Taekyung was an interesting character and I loved his ability to be honest and his growth as a character was endearing. My main issue was I didn't think Daon or Shinwoo were very intriguing characters. Shinwoo had more intrigue potential then Daon, however, he barely talks for the first half of the show unless it's to tell Taekyung to go away. Then, Daon is just a people pleaser and it honestly just gets annoying. Also, Sohee was such a fucking annoying character.
I did a lot of time skipping over the last 7 episodes because I just got bored with the plot. It was cute to see Shinwoo and Tae end up together in the end. At the same time, I just didn't really understand the whole thing between Daon and Tae and how that ended. I guess I just despise love triangles where there isn't a clear pick. Especially since Daon and Tae both admitted they liked each other and the first half of the show was just them flirting and being cute. I get why people enjoy this show and I see it's charm though.

if you want to try something new beside k drama girl it is waiting for you
So far, I love everything. I can't remember their name, so I can't describe it properly. All I can say is that it is worth it my English is not so well thank you so form here it is ai The cast is diverse and relatable, which adds depth to their experiences. I found myself rooting for several couples, and it’s fascinating to see how their relationships develop throughout the episodes. What I particularly enjoy is the way the show balances fun and heartfelt moments, making it engaging without feeling overly staged. While enjoyment can be subjective, I believe that this show manages to strike a chord with many viewers. It’s entertaining enough to binge-watch, and if you've ever been curious about modern dating dynamics, this show serves as a great reflection of them.

SO WORTH IT TO WATCH! RECOMMENDED!!
The story tells about the most wanted man of NIS, Agent Terrius. His last operation "Candy", which took place in Poland has failed miserably. It lead to the demise of his lover, which also serves as an informant for the operation. Terrius was accused of insubordination and was condemned a traitor to the organization. He was apprehended and was forced to escape interrogation, aiming to investigate by himself. He lives in hiding and finally found a home in Kingcastle Appartment. Due to turn of events, he applied to be a baby sitter of Ae-rin's twins, his neighbor next door.
At first, I thought this would be boring as I'm not really a fan of So Ji-sub (well, I am now). Plus, at the start of the drama, I found it messy especially with how the twins behaves and act. I know, kids are usually like that in reality but still I find it a bit annoying. Tho, I realized as the story progressed that that was the show's edge. That part of the show makes "My Secret Terrius" unique among other shows that has the same concept.
The actors did really well and was able to deliver till the end. I want to really commend the child actors that plays Jun-su and Jun-hui, very well done babies! It was amazing that at that early age they can compete with all the adult actors in the drama. For Bon and Ae-rin, I didn't expect much in terms of the screen chemistry but the nose-to-nose kiss between them was just so sweet. I was starting to feel the hype and the spark between them after that scene. All the KIS members was funny too, honestly, they should pack up and take over the NIS headquarters LOL. Do woo and Jiyeon was so adorable too, they have the chemistry by the way. I personally love Young-tae's character, I know he really isn't a bad guy from the very start. He was just a victim of circumstances and just did what he has to live and thankfully he did get his happy ending, tho boring according to him HAHAHAHA.
The only loophole I think is that how can K possibly shot Young-tae when he was already abroad? He was told to lie low and escape overseas after the incident in Yoon Chun-sang's house. When Director Sim asked where is K, Yoon Chun-sang told him he escaped abroad already. So confusing, but maybe he came back and then flee again to Poland?! HAHAHAHA. One thing, I was really weirded out that Bon made a promise to have mojito with Choi Eun-Kyung (Candy) at Namsan tower after completing their mission together. At the end, he fulfilled it, having mojito at Namsan tower, but with Ae-rin. Not to mention Ae-rin wearing a coat almost the same with Candy when the promise happened and died. Chills.
Either way, I have realized and learned a lot through the drama. However, the lesson from the drama that left a big mark in me is that, the one closes to you are not always your friend, and sometimes those you thought are the vilest are really those who truly cared.
Honesty, the storyline was pretty predictable and not quite intense like any other agent kdramas. However, the show is full of adorable and powerful actors that really played their characters well. The cast made the show enjoyable and exciting, wanting you to want more especially those Bon and Jun-Jun moments. Overall, I love the drama and would recommend it. It's an Action, Romance, and Comedy packed in a 32 episode run. The ending was beyond satisfaction with no dull moments throughout. Very recommended!
