I remember I watch this show every week until it's final episode. honestly speaking, this series was a light and fluffy one, a great series for you who like enemies-to-lovers troupe and want something light to watch. If we're talking about the acting, I think Phuwin's acting are better in here than in his new series. I feel like this kind of character suits him more. Still, I don't think his acting was that great, but i've seen worse, so...it was not good but not that bad. but I'm surprised by Pond's good acting, especially since this was his first main role. His character in his new series was very nice too. GMM did a great job to pick him as one of their talent. his suuuuper talented in acting.
I would recommend this for someone who's looking for something that's cute and sweet and for someone who wants to watch a BL series for the first time.

Boring and chidish

One of the ML obsession over Tammy just becomes really annoying.

Their interaction is more childish than it's cute or funny. It's a pity since I find Dao really cute actually!

Just when I thought I finally get to watch a non-school setting BL, it turns out this is even more childish than a school setting BL

I can barely get pass episode 1.

It might just not be my style of comedy. Some might find it funny thou.

Overrated drama

When I watch a good drama I usually tend to watch episodes after episodes and I have to discipline myself not to watch the whole drama in 2 days ! Nothing like this watching "Till the end of the Moon". Quite the opposite! I had to force myself to go to the end of the show after watching the first twenty episodes.

The show starts rather well and we know that we are going to enjoy watching Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi acting together with talent and good chemistry. We really want to know if the Devil-Lord-to-be will fall in love and feel human emotions. We thing we are going to watch a really good love story. But suddenly the story stops and a new story comes to us. And then a third story comes to us ! Of course everything is linked but I really disliked it. Moreover, I do not like to be watered with the blood that actors spit several times per episode, I do not like the free masochism that we have to endure in love stories where finally nothing is tangible. The 3 last episodes were all messed up and seemed never ending. We were shown hell and nirvana and redemption I guess. Maybe we have to be Asian to understand and appreciate what was supposed to be a rather happy ending.

This love story is disappointing. There is no doubt about Tantai Jin's feelings but nothing is certain about the heroine. She wants to stop Tantai Jin becoming the Devil Lord but for ulterior reasons than love. We are given to see too little idyllic moments between the two lovers, it's hard believing in an authentic love story.

What was interesting to watch ? Acting. Luo Yun Xi is a brilliant devil and very skilled actor. Sometimes his makeup was too noticeable, making him appear a bit ridiculous.
What else ? Outfits. Some outfits and clothes were just gorgeous. They sublimated the actors and actresses.
Is that all ? Scenaries and sets. Some were really nice.
What about the tracks ?The soundtrack was typical of this type of drama. Nothing original.

In summary ? Drama overrated.

Storyline

İt was obvious line JY-GR from the beginning. Just it will be boring in eyes of producers to make it like that. They need some more drama and action, that's why line JY-MG was created (even watch how it's going after show), ending make more sense after this.
Sometimes it was bad acting, especially when Lee-Soo came to TV room with MG and JY . Although İ really enjoy to watch this show, the scenario is getting worse. İn first 3 seasons they was going on a dates making something interesting (workshops, paragliding, etc). This times only cafes, lp bars and wine. İf they will have seaons 5 İ really wish they can work on it. İt's not pandemic term anymore.

At some part I felt bored

It was past history of China ,how they suffered when japanese intrude in their country and how they fought against them . As an Indian I can understand the sufferings they had . As Britishers ruled on us and how our Patriots fought against them and many times they felt helpless in front of them because they had guns and pistol and we were bare handed then to we fought against them and made our country free in 1947 and according the story China get liberated from japanese in 1949 , As it based on real life story . So drama didn't show much about love stories. One love story remained incompleted.
I only hoped that in ending the story should met them properly.
Good story. But I think very few would like it.

Unnecessary mating horse

*happy ending*

I love the food bl genre, don't get me wrong. But, this is still not IT. The only good thing i liked in this series is the handsome casting and the cooking.

But the actors cannot act in love really. The intern looked much in love then the main characters, that they are better off acting in a bromance series rather than a bl.

This serie also tried to put too many plot points in a short series. A mating horse (the ex and intern) is unnecessary to add in the plotline, as the main couple's struggle in work and life is enough as a conflict really. I really wished they focused more on that. Especially since dohoon is overworked and yon soo is still getting the hang of owning a restaurant. As shown in episode 6.

Dont get me started with the kiss. I don't mind pecks, bit i can see how one sided the kiss is in this serie and it is making me cringe. The falling action is also sooo mediocre that i had to skip scenes in episode 7 and 8.

I love lee jo woon's cameo, but i think his character is unnecessary too.
I wish the build up on their romance was more focused on as well. Sigh.

To all readers, this is still a recommended watch, i think.

the most angsty HIStory ever

I watch this series back in 2019 and the story was so beautiful. even though haoting was a freakin jerk in the beginning of the series, but I love him when he simps over xigu. I love how they made xigu being a smart, shy, and cool guy that excels in school, but they made him too pitiful. I cried the whole series seeing xigu works so hard but still be bugged by everyone. But at the end of the series I HATE HOW THEY RUINED HAOTING AND XIGU HAPPINESS BY A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT? WTF?? I remember being so fckin frustrated by this. It would be great if the main couple had another main series...
anw it's still of of the best HIStory ever, I would recommend it if you want something angsty.

I watched this series back in 2021, and I love this series. It brings classic comedy and cliches that happens on a BL mangas and animes. It's funny, light, and also enjoyable. Maybe this series could be cringey for some people, but for someone who's been following animes and japanese dramas for a long time, this cliches are relatable and accurate. The manga is waaaay more funnier, though. I love how Atsuhiro portrayed the main character, and how he reacts to every cliches that happens around him was very funny. I think this series could be more enjoyable by someone who have been reading mangas or watching japanese BLs.

BL or not, it's a fricking gd show!

This is one of the best BL I've watched. Well, kinda implied BL. If you're expecting kisses and all, there's none. But, if you're expecting chemistry and love, I'm pretty sure it's there. In fact, its probably even the healthiest kind of love here!

I love this show a lot, especially after watching so many school setting BL lol. It's nice to watch sth that's thrilling with some actions. Also, the storyline is pretty good. It kinda keeps me guessting till the end

Its easy watch, no drag.

I really love the 2 MLs and I'd be lying to say I want some kisses here and tehre or more...or at least a hug, coz they are so clearly in love!

Overall, enjoyable and refreshing watch. and SHiro is SO sexy, I died.

a great representation on a surpressed gay community in Japan

When I watch this around 2019, I think this series represented a surpressed gay community in Japan. Since many asian countries are known for their hate towards the community (esp Japan because they're very reserved and don't like it if something that considered "not normal" occurs), I could say that this drama portrays it perfectly, even without any skinship. When I watch BL nowdays, I hate it when they abandoned the story just for the spicy NC's. I think it's better to focused on the story more than the NC's. I really really like the main couple, even though Shiro is a bit a$$ sometimes, but I really liked them. Esp that episode when Shiro introduced Kenji to his parents (via call). The 2nd couple were so funny, esp when I see kohinata simping over gilbert, lol. I'M EXCITED FOR 2ND SEASON!

A drama that took me completely unaware! When I initially began watching Hayabusa Shobodan, I expected a traditional story of the "harried city man who comes to small town and recharges himself", and at first, that was what we got, with main character Taro Mima (Tomoya Nakamura), a struggling writer, coming to the small village of Hayabusa, connecting with the locals, joining the fire brigade and even finding a love interest of sorts in Aya Takichi (Haruna Kawaguchi).
But at the halfway mark of Hayabusa Shobodan, the show slowly began shifting into an entirely different, SURREAL drama, one involving Fanatical Religious Cults, Supernatural Encounters, and Spiritual Prophet Reincarnation! WHAAA!
While on one hand thinking  "What the HECK is happening to this drama?", the OTHER hand was transfixed and couldn't WAIT to see what would happen NEXT! This had all the makings of a David Lynch Series a la TWIN PEAKS, and I was ALL on BOARD!
I've said many times how much I appreciate an unpredictable show where you're on your toes with one surprise after another and I GOTTA SAY, I had NO IDEA where ANY of it was going to GO! Had me guessing ALL the WAY to the END!
Sadly, it ended ALL TOO SOON, and I  really wished it could have been even 15 minutes longer just so we could have a nicer "wrap up" between the romantic leads. STILL, a fine show and one I'm satisfied with, something I can't say for most of the shows lately...

Stunning Visuals Can't Mask Shallow Plot

I really get confused when it comes to the rating of any Cdrama. I haven't watched many but the majority I found rating should be at least 1.5 points less. this drama is no different. the only good thing here is super sexy Jerry Yan, oh yes also the cinematography. I am halfway, and now keeping it on hold as it's very boring. I will complete it sometime later but now I can't keep it going anymore.

Positive Aspects:

1. Jerry Yan's charismatic performance.
2. Impressive cinematography.
3. Beautiful locations, especially scenes on top of the mountain.

Negative Aspects:

1. Lack of character development.
2. Shallow relationships and lack of depth.
3. Absence of chemistry between the leads.
4. FL's lack of likability and depth.
5. Missing backstory and logic behind character actions.
6. Supporting characters' dullness. (though there aren't any significant ones)
7. There is no intriguing story, just some sexual tension between two leads that runs on for half of the drama.

Overall Assessment:
The drama falls short in various aspects. While it excels in visuals and Jerry Yan's performance, it lacks character development, relationship depth, and chemistry between the leads. The main female character's lack of likability and depth can be attributed to weak writing. The supporting characters also fail to engage the viewer. The drama's potential might have been better realized in a shorter format like a 2-hour movie rather than a series.

Scattershot but Satisfying

Despite this drama's wildly outlandish set-ups and unbelievable plot twists (really haven't seen this many expectations subverted since The Last Jedi!), I cannot deny the fact that I was THOROUGHLY entertained throughout the entire story of the three desperate women who do the unthinkable to get out of the unbearable situations fate has cornered them into!
Atsuko Maeda, Anna Ishii and Mai Fukagawa excel as the three lead women, in particular Fukagawa came in really strong with her character!

light and fluffy drama that centers around food

i liked this drama because it has a light yet somehow healing for me and I love the relationship between the main couple. even though they barely had a skinship, but I really liked the slice-of-life that is very relatable in real life. Jeff and Gameplay has a very good acting, so the story naturally flows and it's not over the top. Also, the food are very delicious. I would be glad if they shared all of the recipes for every food that featured in this series.
I would recommend this to someone that like food-centered BL series.

This could have been so much better

This show must be really glad for the hype, because if it wasn’t there then it would easily flop. The story has a good base/foundation but was ruined by the lack of building and a step in the wrong direction. The main issue is the fact of adding a romance between the dog and the owner, that was in no way, shape or form necessary and in result ruined the potential this type of story has. The depiction of the likeness of a dog and a cat well done though I must say, especially the cat. While watching I tried my best to give a benefit of the doubt each time I was the story heading in a wrong direction. What made this show even 100x worse is that they missed the opportunity of doing some damage control in the ending like adding a crazy plot twist that was explain all the weirdness, but instead they dived in the romances and even made them come back in the end?? the only thing worse than the entire show is the ending by itself.
