"“Whatever makes you scared, keep your eyes open and face it.”

There are so many Quotes which i love a lot in this drama. SPOILER ALERT!!!! I love the cinematography as well as stunts etc. I love LDW in this series, he is so LIT , it makes you wonder what he is eating to maintain his body during his 40's. I love LDW as uncle and he has so much scope in this series. Even his niece also acted very well with him. The small girl as his niece should definitely win the award for her acting in 1st few episodes. It so hard to pull for young child artists like her. I love her uncle(Jeong Jinman) who setup the mall and his house designs are on top level, he knows that Bale will attack him and his niece. In this series, they promote the "Girl's power" i love his niece and min-hye too , min-hye and her action sequences are LIT in this series and i also watched the BTS of it too. Bale is totally psychopath and why did Jeong Jinman forgave him? and if he had stopped him at that time itself nobody will have died now, he saved him from it, instead he goes and kills all his family members except Jeong Jinman. The question is that "WHEN WILL BE SEASON 2 BE AIRED? I want to see Jeong Jinman and niece killing bale in it. I am so excited to see our trio who helped jian when her uncle is not present with them. I was wondering did her uncle went to on hide due to his injuries which her niece's fake friend did it or he did because to test her niece is capable of protecting his shopping mall.

Dropping it after 4 episode, the story and acting didn't lure me.

Small Town Stories is a melodrama of a small-town girl who returns home after an injury and broken relationship. She met up and fell in love with Bai Lang.

The Synopsis:
Mu Di, a Suo Na professional woman with a high education and ability, returned home to recover from an injury. There, she meets Bai Lang, a smart and capable company boss. Due to an incident, the two are forced to run a business together.

While building the business together, Mu Di felt a different kind of human warmth and was welcomed with open arms by the town's local people, which inspired her to combine traditional art and pop culture.

Mu Di has a new understanding of the folk music she once loved. She has made continual progress in performances and has received much praise. She has also changed her rocky start with Bai Lang for the better.

In the end, Mu Di and the members of the folk orchestra took the opportunity to create traditional folk music that is known and loved by many.

Under the influence of Bai Lang, Mu Di put down her walls and faced her heart. Not only did she find a career that she loved, but she also found a home that she loved.

My Reviews:
1. I watched 4 episodes, and I found it boring and not engaging at all.
2. The main CP did not lure me in with their acting, and the story could have been more engaging.

I am dropping this drama and giving it a 4.0 rating.

Don't waste your time. Bad script, bad acting, and non-existent romance.

Our Interpreter is a romantic comedy about rekindling Lin Xi's and Yi Cheng's love after they broke up 10 years ago. The plot is too boring, and nothing is exciting. I watch it to kill time while waiting for a better drama to air.

The Synopsis: Lin Xi, known as the "witch" in the translation industry, reunites with her ex-boyfriend Xiao Yi Cheng. Eight years ago, she broke up with him to fulfill her mother's wish for her to become a professional interpreter for the United Nations.

Eight years later, Lin Xi became the youngest chief interpreter at Huasheng. In contrast, her ex Xiao Yi Cheng has become a communications company's chief technology officer, making him her potential client.

To land a contract with Xiao Yi Cheng, Lin Xi has no choice but to keep dealing with him. She helps his company go public, and even though it seems that Xiao Yi Cheng is out to get revenge on Lin Xi, he doesn't have the heart to be mean to her. Work rekindles their passionate relationship, and Xiao Yi Cheng gradually understands why she broke up with him. Together, they work hard to realize their dream of "speaking for the country."

Pang Hong Mei and Ji Dan Yang fought a life-and-death battle with enemy agents in Lumen, thwarted the enemy's conspiracy, protected the "Water Drop Project," and achieved the expected success. The couple who went through the test of life and death also realized their dreams and firm ideals.

My Reviews:
1. At the beginning of each episode, they recited quotes from famous people in English, French, and Spanish, which was a distraction and annoying insert. The pronunciations were awful.
2. The plot is stupid and tries to show the dramatic and broken relationship of a well-known family whose business is in the interpretation field.
3. Victoria Song and Chen Xing Xu are typecast for the same boring role where they both play cold, bossy, prideful characters. It is also predictable when you know the drama's ending, so it does not require 36 episodes.
4. These two actors are decent, but they need better roles and/or scripts instead of playing the same type of role, which is draggy and boring.
5. The 2nd and 3rd CPs are boring plot fillers. The onscreen chemistry of all three CPs is nonexistent.
6. It has too much propaganda about China's self-made products on the international stage.
7. Stupid ending. She put her career above her happiness, and her BF goes along with it.

I have watched 27 episodes and will finish it as a background noise filler since there is nothing good in Cdrama for January 2024. I give it a 5.0 rating, which is generous.

Good acting but the plot was draggy. It would be better if it cut short to 10-12 episodes.

My Demon is a RomCom Kdrama about a demon who makes a deal with a human during a crisis in exchange for cutting their lives short after it ends.

The Synopsis:
DoDo Hee is the successor of the Future Group. She doesn't trust anyone and is cynical about love. DoDo Hee gets involved with a demon named Jung Gu Won and makes a contract marriage with him.

He can live for eternity by making dangerous but sweet deals with humans who endure hellish lives. But after looking down upon humans for 200 years, he gets involved with Do Do Hee and somehow loses his power. He must protect DoDo Hee, who has taken all his power to prevent his extinction.

My Reviews
1. The acting is good, especially the main CP. There are too many supporting cast that it was not necessary.
2. There were too many repetitive episodes. It would have been better if it ended in 10-12 episodes.
3. It had a good message about evilness, and the choices that one makes may have consequences where they refuse to accept or have remorse about their actions.
4. It has some good, laughable scenes.

Overall, it was a decent drama, and I enjoyed it. I gave it a 7.5 rating.

Egg and Stone is a nice wuxia comedy with a cute and lighthearted romance. Although the plot is not solid and completely coherent, the drama’s comedy is well executed by a cast that seems to have enjoyed the fun ride bringing their characters to life; the actors seem comfortable acting farcical within this slapstick comedy. The drama is really funny and, even though the leading couple’s intimate scenes were uninspiring, their squabbling and their playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks are really funny and amusing. There are some heart fluttering and heartbreaking moments in the drama but, overall, this drama is an entertaining laugh-out-loud comedy. Enjoy it!

This Chemistry is Too Damn Sweet, For Love’s Sake!

Love For Love’s Sake is one of those dramas you’d think wouldn’t see the light of day due to its unusual concept, but here it is.. and it delivered!

Here, the actors delivered an impeccable performance amidst the fictional backdrop of a fresh, somewhat still "foreign" concept / setting in K-drama land— transmigration. I’d have to admit, it’s hard nailing a genre as complex as transmigration where good worldbuilding is absolutely crucial; and truthfully speaking, the plot, in terms of worldbuilding… fell a bit short. Understandably, since LFLS is a short series, I didn’t expect for all the plot holes to he filled. However, we’re still left with some loose ends.

Length-wise, an 8-episode, 30-40 min per episode Korean BL is a real treat! Nowadays, Korean BLs have a running time of 10-20 min per episode. However, the problem with LFLS is how the scriptwriter tried to balance the storyline by making it equal parts "plot" and "character"-driven. Character development was adaquate, but the relationship unfolding between the two leads felt rather rushed. Honestly, this drama would’ve been incredible if it had just a few more episodes solely to polish up the worldbuilding.

Apart from that, the characters are layered, soundtrack was good, and cinematography came out pretty well for a low-budget drama! Also, the two leads had insane chemistry that practically oozes off the screen. I mean, cmon', you’re watching a drama with leads who are eye candy, can act, and can cry-on-cue without it looking forced or unnatural. I also fell in love with the ML, Cha Yeonwoo— he’s such a cutiepie! Cho Joowan’s duality for his character is amazing. Looking at his MDL photo, you’d think the man would be fierce in real life, but the man radiates so much golden retriever energy!

Watch at your own risk— otherwise, you might get attached to the characters (nothing new, though)!

Good acting from Yang Zi. Good story about friendship from childhood to adulthood

Love Endures is a melodrama about a group of childhood friends who were there for each other and extremely close from high school to adulthood.

The Synopsis:
Huang Ying Zi, Jiang Yi, Fang Ming Yu, Zhuang Yuan, Lan Yi Fei, and Guan Chao grew up together in Hangtian City, becoming known as the "Hangtian City F6". The good friends had promised to be together for the rest of their lives. Still, they were forced to abandon their promise because of an accident in the year of their Gaokao college entrance examination.

Twelve years later, at 30, each walked alone on their respective life paths, working hard and growing up in the adult world. Suddenly, one day, they received the news that their good friend Guan Chao was about to get married. With the help of Huang Ying Zi, the old friends reunited during the wedding, and their memories of youth slowly unfolded.

Only then did they realize that the feelings that had sprouted when they were seventeen had never dissipated. Many misunderstandings were behind the accident; in fact, the friendship that stayed in the past had never ended.

My Reviews
1. When it was first broadcast, It was unavailable on my personal YOUKU App, where I am a paid VIP member.
2. I have to watch on YouTube under the Kukan channel, where the audio is silent in every episode, and the auto-translation for English subtitles is inaccurate.
3. There are too many flashbacks. I am watching 18 episodes already. It is frustrating to see Ying Zi and Jiang Yi go back and forth, and no one is forthcoming about liking each other.
4. They are now in their adulthood and still behave childishly instead of being honest about their feelings for one another.
5. Episodes 25-32 got interesting as Jiang Yi and their friends try to help Ying Zi overcome and accept the reality that Yi Fei died via suicide, but how they go about helping her from PTSD through a virtual reality game is not realistic.
6. I think it would be better if they help her go through a psychologist to overcome her PTSD instead.
7. The acting is good, especially Yang Zi's; her onscreen chemistry with Fan Cheng Cheng was okay but could have been better. She has better onscreen chemistry with Xiao Zhan in the Oath of Love.

Overall, it was a decent drama, and I enjoyed it; because of the silent audio from Kukan, I gave it a 7.5 rating instead of 8.0

good until the end..

This show really grabbed my attention in the first couple of episodes. I think that the casting for everyone was perfect and they all did a great job acting. A stand out for me was definitely Mark! I loved him in My School President and Only Friends so I was super excited to see him here. I've never watched a JimmySea show so this was my introduction to them! They did great as well.

My ick with this show lies in the ending. I do not like break ups, especially over stupid reasons. This was one of the worst reasons to break up. I feel like Mohk is so level-headed but Day is not (at times). I think a nice long conversation/communication would have been better and healthier for them. A break up + a time skip just ruined the high of their relationship and I found myself wanting them not to get back together. I understand Day and his hate for feeling pity but his communication skills during this were so bad it made me upset.

I feel like a happy ending is what we usually want but I kinda wouldn't mind them not getting back together. Overall it's a good show, definitely better than some shows we got last year. If you don't mind a breakup timeskip then please do watch! The story is overall interesting.

I wanted this to be what it thinks it is

I so badly wanted this to be good because Grey Rainbow is one of my favorite BLs of all time. Ah, alas.

Medical misinformation abounds, but I'm not thai, so maybe procedures are different over there??? Also every single character sucks except Tua and Nuch. Like, every single one. No one is likeable, especially the main character, which is wild. He's so stupid it physically pains me, and he keeps repeating the same stupid behavior over and over and over again at the expense of a friend. Holy hell he's annoying. Every time someone dies he melts down and goes on about how it's all his fault oh no boo hoo. Like he must think he's got the final say on who lives or dies. Even in shows where the main character is an established loser, I'm hard-pressed to think of them as one, but this guy??? Prakan is a certified asshole loser.

The rules of the people being reaped are inconsistent, the rules of the reapers dont make much sense and are inconsistent. The punishments for various reaper things are arbitrary af. The concept is cool, the execution could have maybe used like one brainstorm meeting. Maybe a writers room. Maybe even just someone to say all the plot points out loud so they'd notice the holes.

The music was wild. Something literally insignificant would happen and this loud, dramatic music would play and I was confused every time because again, nothing warranted it. All of the music was loud for no reason and almost always overdramatic. This is a drama, but its was *noticeably* overdramatic. It took me out of the story quite frequently, which is rough because the story itself was already taking me out of the story. Frankly, I'm not done yet and I want to drop it, but Tua is 1. Doing better than the rest of the cast (bar Nuch) combined and 2. Is pretty. That's all I'm in it for right now. I'm not even in it for Nuch, as much as I love her, because she's in love with the largest, most prolasped asshole I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. And yes, I do mean....uh Prakans cousin, whatever his name is. The side couple is insufferable, the higherups are insufferable for both the reapers and doctors. For some reason people keep getting hit by cars??? Like car, car, building, car, car, cancer type ahh.

This has been an exercise in frustration, which js more frustrating because it could've been SO. GOOD.

Could've.

Thyme and Gorya: Our Shooting Star Couple༘⋆

I think F4 Thailand is the best adaptation of other previous dramas. This drama is Tu Tontawan first debut but she can act sooo well!! There is no need to doubt the chemistry between Tontawan and Bright, who were initially enemies and became couple˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖

Gorya, a girl who lives in poverty, she has to be the breadwinner for her family but she's lucky because get a scholarship to attend an elite school with the conglomerates around her. Her character is very brave, has strong principles, and not afraid of anything. At school she had to face bullying every day after having problems with the F4 leader so her life could not be peaceful.

Thyme, as the leader of the F4 squad who have been friends since childhood. F4 members are Thyme, Kavin, MJ, and Ren. All have different characters but one thing in common, they all come from rich families. Thyme, who was raised by his strict, arrogant and always wanted to win mother, made his grow up to be someone who doesn't care about other people and likes to put other people down.

Starting from Gorya defended her friend, Hana who caused problems with Thyme then actually made Gorya become an enemy of F4 and all the students at her school. Every day she has to face Thyme's ridiculous actions to bully her. However, this didn't last long because Gorya managed to turn things around. Gorya's courage makes Thyme, who initially hates her, become curious and fall in love with her.

In fact, for Gorya and Thyme, who come from very different family levels, it makes really hard for them to be together. Thyme has difficulty adapting to Gorya life and vice versa. Also Thyme's mother doesn't agree with their relationship and tries to get rid of Gorya from Thyme's life. I really liked the character development in this drama. Thyme, who was very childish, became an adult to fight for her relationship with her girlfriend and Gorya, i swear I am so in love with this girl!!! She is always strong on her own feet, even though she falls in love with Thyme too, but she remains rational and mature, does not depend on other people for her life as always.

Apart from the dynamics between the main leads, I also like the dynamics between Gorya and Ren♥ I was hit by second lead syndrome because Ren is truly the definition of a walking green flag guy. Just like Tontawan, this is also Dew's debut drama, but they can show extraordinary chemistry here.

Kavin and Kaning they are also very cute!!! They don't get much screen time in this drama but it's enough to make the audience's hearts melt when they see their relationship. Playboy MJ also made his debut in this drama and was very successful in presenting his character.

Overall, I really like this drama. I can't count how many times I've rewatched this drama and it made me fall in love with Tontawan and Prim in real life, they're so beautiful!! I hope they can meet again in another drama─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──

Could Have Been A Better Watch Indeed

When Lovemedia Thailand first started with the promotions, “Twins The Series” was marketed as a sport themed BL. Whilst the Thai BL industry is filled with high school dramas or engineering misnomers, we were never offered a full fledged sports drama. As such, the expectations were high from a cast that included handsome hunks who seemed to fit the bill of volleyball players. Either ways, I was never enthusiastic about sports labeled shows. But then my X timeline was filled with spoilers once the show premiered; the end result- I gave in to the urge. The pilot episodes were pretty lame and dragged on; nothing substantial to hold onto. So, why did I continue on this journey? Despite the mediocre writing with abundant potholes, the lead pairing manage to savage the show. Without pulling any punches, let’s dive into this review!

SEASON 2 IN 20......... ?

.
The drama had a very well-developed plot and a well-written story, and the dynamics of the episodes intertwining the future and the flashbacks were not boring or unreasoned, especially in episodes 6 and 7, which brought in detail everything that happened to get to where we are.

In the first episode, I reported and suspected Ji-Man's inert reaction, but the episodes mentioned above showed how he suffered and was desperate for the death of his loved ones. The fight scenes and weapon technologies were completely above average and showed Disney's investment power in the drama. The entire cast was very good, but the highlight for me was Pasin, who excellently portrayed his role, with Thai mannerisms and accent to give greater authenticity to the character.

I think the negative point, if we can call it that, was this super open ending for a hypothetical second season. Sometimes they don't even continue it, but with endings like this, there we are waiting. Anyway, I liked it and would watch it if there is a second season.

Great detective story with lots of eye candy

I admit, this is one of the productions with the most good-looking cast I’ve ever seen. Even the supporting actors/actresses were pure eye-candy (which is pretty much the premise of the story). But this is also a great detective story. Even if I guessed “the villain” and his identity almost right away, the storyline and unraveling of the case(s) was interesting. The twists and turns were nicely executed and kept me a bit confused as to exactly why and how - that’s always a sign of a good story. And even the romance between the main leads was nice to watch with a natural flow to it.
Character wise, I liked that this FL was smart but not overly smart and her martial arts was really good but she wasn’t invincible nor was she fearless. A character that wasn't one-dimensional. I found ML to suit the job, since he had to be highly intelligent, calm and fearless. He had a strong presence.
Acting wise this was great and the chemistry between the main leads was good, not sizzling but suitable for their respective characters.
So, if you like an intriguing and romantic detective-story, this is definitely well worth watching.

So wholesome and fun, while also dealing with deep issues

I finished this drama very quickly, with its short episode lengths it's a great drama to watch when you're in the mood for a good quick show. I loved the chemistry and dynamic of the main couple, we have the young lead who fell first, and the older lead who ends up falling harder. Nose ends up understanding that age doesn't restrict one's ability to let loose and have fun. Together the couple try new things and Nose discovers that, despite aging, he can always have a youthful heart. Togawa is perfect as the younger lead because he sees everything in Nose, that initially Nose doesn't see, it's a type of love where they appreciate the little things in each other that most people don't notice about them.
