What a wonderful and heartwarming story. There’s a lot twist and turn that keeps you on the age of your seat. I love all the characters. They are so well suited For the story. Miss Ripley (2011) - one of the dramas that was aired on our local television network ABS-CBN, and I was intrigued of this because of the trailer. Truthfully this type of genre is quite not the typical at that time for me since I was still a beginner in watching Korean dramas. It’s quite exciting to watch since I was so anxious that the main lead would be discovered with her lies, but I don't really support the decision of the main lead. I give credit to Lee Da Hae for portraying the role perfectly. Not quite convinced with Yoochun as the other main lead, maybe because his character was not given a back story, no character development for him. The other leading man Seung Woo is the more convincing one for me especially towards the romance part of the drama. Hye Yung-kee also didn’t really stood out for me as the other female lead, as I can't see a back story for her, maybe I was not convinced since there is no character development. Overall, the drama itself is really good thanks to Dahae’s acting skills and main plot which is adapted to a true story.

Big (2012) - I found this drama confusing, maybe because of the ending. The drama plot is interesting and got me excited to see something, but I don't what it is. The one thing I like about this drama is Gong Yoo's acting. Gong Yoo is really a good actor as is shown here in the drama, he really conveyed his manly side as well as his cute side. He carried his role so well. I know that there is a lot of complaints with the ending and I am one of them. I know most of the cast but I was still disappointed. I think this is not because of the acting or the actors but to the story and writing of this and also the pacing is not for me. I would not recommend.

May Queen (2012) - if you want a makjang drama, this one is a good recommendation drama for me. I watch this drama because of the main cast since they are the definition of "first generation oppa" in my eyes. This is also one of the dramas that is too long for me but I still watch this. This drama is a roller coaster ride since a lot happened, which is quite normal for a makjang drama. One of the dramas that I would not rewatch because I would just hurt myself with all the drama. Overall, it is a nice drama if you like long and complicated dramas.

Best Chicken (2019) - this drama just screams amateur, which is nice if you are an open minded watcher. Almost all the characters in this drama are new faces I have yet to discover except for the chef as I have seen him in other dramas, particularly in Fluttering Warning. First part of the drama I felt hungry since it is all about cooking. The main dish is chicken, and it looks so tasty on screen. This is a light drama to watch and there is no complicated conflicts in between, maybe at the end parts but I still like it since it's not too heavy. The ending was a bit questionable, but I guess they stick with the reality.

Needs season 2 to explore that ending. (An extra episode wouldn't hurt either)

The story was quite interesting.

The presentation lacked flow, as a viewer you start out believing that the ML hated the FL and wanted to kill her as revenge. But later the writer wanted us to believe that wasn't the case, he just wanted to end the cruel rebirth cycle and didn't exactly wish the FL any harm. Although I forced myself to follow the change, I'm was still not fully convinced.

However, it could be that he hated her just as much as he loved her, which is why his expression conveyed hatred so much making it so hard to believe. This could have been planned that way by the writers.

The ML was kinda great when you think about it and FL just didn't put enough faith in their relationship. Even when the ML was willing to put faith in their relationship, she decided to literally do away with the relationship and the guy. Very cowardly. She just didn't love him enough.

So, I was glad for the consequences she had to face for the actions.

*Spoiler Alert*
What's more, I was so glad that Han Jun Oh got to experience life. As much as you admire Do Ah, if it wasn't for Han Jun Oh, the show wouldn't have been that interesting. He was very adorable and I'm glad that his brother didn't have to mourn him.

I am glad that both Do Ah (ML) and Kang Young Hwa / Han Ri Ta (FL) got the fresh start, however I wish to see how Kang Young Hwa lived out her life, similarly for the other characters. Furthermore, it would be interesting to watch both leads live out their reincarnated life. Although I'm pretty sure there won't be a season 2, i was hoping that we could get a few extra episode where they could explore all of this.

Looks so beautiful it looks fake

Yes For Me -
- Scenic - Beautiful Cast, Beautiful scenery, Good Food

No For Me -
- Monotonous Storyline. - There is no need for the show to add a third party to the show to make the relationship progression more flavourful, but the relationship progression is way too straight, way too fast.

The show is an attempt to master the romance drama, without any other genre factor into it. Everything else is just set up to compliment this fact. Good Food, Good Scenery to take screenshot of. Too much perfection makes the whole show feels too fantasy-like, which i dont think it is the intention.

Pretty Man/ Bel-ami (2013) - I don't know why people didn't like this one because I find this drama really good. For me, it's one of IU's recommended dramas, though I don't like her character here. It was hard for me to move to the next episodes after watching the first episode because it does not really appealed to me, first turn off was the character of IU. Eventually, I did find the sense or the purpose of the drama and like watching it along the way. I did accept the characters in the drama and there are mind blogging parts in the drama that I was not ready, which are good points for me as a watcher.

Fantasy, Supernatural and Romance

This really interesting drama mixes fantasy, love stories, and mystery in a great way. The story is very rich and keeps you interested from the beginning to the end.

The actors do an amazing job. They work well together and make the characters feel real and interesting. The story has a lot of surprises and the fantasy world it creates is beautiful. It talks about feelings and emotions deeply and touchingly. This drama is one of the best in its style and leaves a big impression on you. Because This Is My First Life (2017) - Everybody knows how I like this drama, basically I posted lines of this drama before. This drama is my favorite Korean drama, period. I just love everything in this drama. The lines are awesome and hey I just love how the romance of the main characters developed. I like that there are basically 3 stories in one drama because it doesn’t focus on a romance of 1 couple but 3 couples with different situations. It’s just fun and heartwarming. I like that the script was well portrayed by the actors in a fun way. It was both an educational and hilarious drama for me. I kept repeating the scenes which I like in this drama, like my 6th time watching it today. Hahahaha. Favorite scene includes the conversation between Se Hee and Ji Ho’s mom before the wedding. I don’t think I could ever get enough of this drama. To more dramas like this!

A Timeless Fantasy

A Korean Odyssey is an amazing show that truly earns a top rating of 10 out of 10. Lee Seung Gi delivers a standout performance as Son Oh Gong, and his acting is one of the highlights of the series. The rest of the cast is equally talented, bringing their characters to life in a way that's both convincing and captivating. This show is a perfect blend of fantasy and drama, creating an unforgettable experience for its viewers. The way it combines old myths, humor, and romantic stories is really unique and engaging.

One of the best parts of A Korean Odyssey is its beautiful music, which adds so much to the overall feel of the show. The soundtrack is so good that it stays with you long after you finish watching the series. It's the kind of show that you can watch over and over again and never get tired of. Even years after its release, the music and the story continue to remind us of the magic and charm of this incredible series. It's a timeless show that leaves a lasting impression.

Because It’s the First Time (2015) - one of the good Minho dramas that I've watched. To how much funny it is at the start, the ending parts was painful. This drama is soooo good in terms of how they face each of their problems at that certain age. It has that relatable factor to it, that is why it is a cute but sad Korean drama for me. Never expected Park So Dam to pull off the character so well, I did really like her after watching this. Minho did well in the drama, and I have seen his improvement. Pulled off his character as well. He suits the role.

Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life (2019) - it's been a long time since I watch a 100-episode Korean drama, and I struggled finishing this drama. The reason why I watched this drama is because I have a copy somehow and also Yoon Park is here, with the same role as a chef on Age of Youth. I super love him in Age of Youth that is why I was really looking forward to this drama but expectations vs reality hit me and I really struggled finishing this drama. I was affected and got hurt with what happened with the characters especially at the first parts of the drama, I cried a lot but still continue watching this. What I did is about 1 to 3 episodes per day depending on my mood. True to its number of episodes, they did the pacing slowly, alongside the revelations and the love story.

A Heartfelt Journey Through Love and Regret

"Go Back Couple" is a touching and relatable K-drama that explores the complexities of love, marriage, and the power of second chances. While it may not be perfect, it certainly stands out as a memorable and heartwarming series that leaves a lasting impression.

The story revolves around a married couple, Ma Jin Joo (Jang Nara) and Choi Ban Do (Son Ho Jun), who find themselves trapped in a time-traveling twist of fate. They are given the opportunity to revisit their college days, allowing them to make different choices and potentially alter the course of their lives.

One of the strengths of "Go Back Couple" is its ability to capture the ups and downs of married life with honesty and humor. The chemistry between the lead actors, Jang Nara and Son Ho Jun, is palpable, and their performances breathe life into their characters. The emotional rollercoaster they go through as they rediscover their love for each other is both heartwrenching and heartwarming.

The supporting cast, including Lee Yi Kyung and Go Bo Gyeol, adds depth to the story with their compelling subplots. Each character brings something unique to the table, contributing to the overall richness of the narrative.

The time-traveling aspect adds an intriguing twist to the typical romantic comedy formula, and it's interesting to see how the characters' actions in the past affect their present-day lives. The exploration of regret, choices, and the pursuit of happiness is portrayed with sensitivity.

While "Go Back Couple" offers a compelling storyline, it does have some minor pacing issues, particularly in the middle episodes, where the plot meanders at times. Some viewers may also find the supporting characters' storylines less engaging compared to the main couple's journey.

Despite these shortcomings, "Go Back Couple" manages to deliver a heartfelt message about cherishing the people we love and the importance of communication in a relationship. It reminds us that even in the face of regrets and mistakes, it's never too late to make amends and rediscover the spark that brought two people together.

In conclusion, "Go Back Couple" is a heartwarming drama with its share of flaws, but its emotional depth and relatable themes make it a worthwhile watch. If you're a fan of romantic comedies with a unique twist and enjoy stories about second chances in love, this series is definitely worth your time. While it may not be a perfect 10, it's a solid 7-star drama that will tug at your heartstrings and leave you reflecting on your own relationships and life choices.

PEEKING INTO LOVE

I like this show! Would love to see it advance to two series per season. It’s fun to see how people maneuver through love. Like any interactive setting, the cream rises to the top—meaning, some people are more visible than others—capable of showing their best sides, knowing how to ask for what they want, while others are shy, and without vocabulary. I enjoy all the experiences of Paradise, especially seeing how one chooses to utilize that opportunity, whether it be wise or unwise. Sometimes, I’m screaming at the tv! Like many of these types of shows, there are entirely too many hosts for commentary. More than three, is time lost from the primary program, I think. Would prefer not waiting for episodes to drop, but it shows my investment in these cast members-seekers of love.
