ITS A LOT CONFUSIONAL

Btw i never did a serious review like this one so please no hate .
--------------------------‐---------------------- STORY
Personally i found the story interesting but got bored on some parts, specially for those few scenes when i didnt understand a shi- + i didnt understand anything about the second lead couple and found it too much boring so i skipped a lot.
One thing that made me hate this was when the friends put some shit in bombs drink, like wtf were they trying to do, that was crazy, like how is that even a good thing? They could and kinda did damege the relationship. I think that was the worst part of all the serie.
---------------------------------------------- ACTING
The acting is a 10/10 just for the fact that this was really contagious, i could feel the saddness in Jin's eyes when he started to cry and i literally started to cry with him. I'm not an actor or studied some shi- like that so idk anything abt it but sure they knew how to make me feel like i was there.
----------------------------------------------- MUSIC
About the music... i dont personally like thai music (not valid for msp one) tbh i didnt hear anything cuz i watched it this night and my homophobic parents were sleeping. : )
------------------------------------------ REWATCH
I never rewatch any serie bc i think they are to long (it depends from serie to serie) but this one is a green pass (the friends are red flags tho)
-------------------------------------------- OVERALL
U might wonder why i put 9.5 as overall, ik it looks too much but Jin is the reason i put + 1.5 points at the first 8 i thought at the start. I just find him too cute. Sorry not sorry yall, but i have to be unfair when we talk about cutie patooties. (Yes my fav actor was Jin i think everyone noticed that, repeating that just in case yall say "9.5 is too much"

I would love to hear other people opinions and what they think about the serie and if sm1 disagrees with what i said <3 (im from albania and i live in italy so im sorry if my english isnt really good)

Silly mini-show with intersting storyline

This is a funny mini-show as always with this couple. The storyline is quite interesting but the execution comes out a bit silly. Not unusual for this couple.
Character wise:
FL is a jinx that causes her husbands to die on the wedding day.
ML is a poisoned young Lord who actually needs a jinx in order to wake up from his coma.
Acting wise this is hard to rate since the production is aiming at silliness. I’ve seen other productions with this couple and know that they are actually not bad actors.
So, if you want something funny and sweet to pass the time - and don’t mind the silliness - this is a nice watch.

Comedy, action, with a lot of wholesomeness

I have had this series on my to watch list for ages but never got around to watching it. With the season 2 coming around the corner I decided now was better than ever to give it a try and I am so glad that I did. I did not expect it to take me only four days to complete as I am a terrible binge watcher, but as soon as I started, I could not stop. I could not help but fall in love with all of the characters throughout the show, laugh at the jokes, and cried at one point.

I loved the evil spirits aspect of the show, I hope season 2 is packed with fighting evil spirits, but I feel as if that was not shown as much due to the underlying police drama/crime show going on alongside everything. Nevertheless, I had a great time watching the show.

Favorite character of the series was Shin Hyukwoo played by Jung Wonchang. He was a character that you hated but also could sympathize with. I genuinely enjoyed seeing his character growth throughout the series.

Not a Mafia Series But a High School BL

If you were expecting a mafia series from the trailer, you might be disappointed with this one. It's primarily a boys love series, centered around Nuengdiao and Palm, high school students with no connection to crime or the mafia. The series revolves around a bad uncle's desire to take over the family business, which sets the story in motion.

For true BL fans, this series is a delight you won't easily forget. Pond and Phuwin's chemistry is remarkable, reminiscent of MaxTul. Some may criticize their acting, but it's worth noting that this is only Pond's second series. While Phuwin might be a child actor, he has not had any challenging roles until this. People need to understand actors need room to grow and explore different roles. Especially, BL fans who love My School President, I can’t take your critique seriously. You want good acting but make leeway for bad acting when it suits you.

While the series isn't perfect, it's still much more enjoyable than many other BLs released by GMMTV and other Thai production companies. Pond and Phuwin's onscreen chemistry is simply magical, making them one of the best BL couples today. If you watched any of their deleted scenes, you know that the plot holes are the directors choice to make it fluffy instead of dark as many wanted.

This is why Director Jojo is overrated, mainly because of his acclaimed series '3 Will Be Free.' He claimed that he was inspired to make 'Never Let Me Go' 90's Hong Kong crime movies feel about an interclass romance Thai larkorn, but the final result deviated significantly from these concepts. The deleted scenes, in contrast, showcased elements that adhered closely to the original concept of the series. However, being a production under GMMTV, the series ended up diluted, much to the disappointment of many viewers who were eagerly anticipating the well-acted and conceptually-rich trailer. Even the second trailer was misleadingly edited to suggest a more dramatic and substantial BL series, leading to dissatisfaction with the eventual watered-down version. It is regrettable that Pond and Phuwin bore the brunt of the blame as the face of the series, while Jojo's editing choices went largely unquestioned and unaccounted for.

On a side note, I must admit that Chimon isn't the most exceptional actor, but Perth shines in his role. Some scenes, like the one outside the hospital room, rub me the wrong way, especially with Ben's smirking while the cousins were crying. I don’t see the great acting Chimon fans were raving about.

Lastly, I'd like to add that people who criticize the portrayal of bodyguards might be influenced by Hollywood clichés and may not have firsthand experience with wealthy individuals who have bodyguards.

Ultimate Comfort Drama

This entire show was beginning to end so sugary sweet it's amazing that the viewing audience isn't given immediate diabetes. This story follows the main leads as well as their friend group from their first year of high school through university, entering the work force and ultimately marriage and having a child by the last episode. It made for an experience where each and every episode my lips were unconsciously smiling or even giggling.

As for the relationships, you could not go wrong with either RangRang OR Gu Ran as your life partner. Both showed complete devotion and I just wish we'd also been shown Gu Ran proposing but we just have to be content knowing it was literally only a simple matter of finding a "proper" time.

Only enjoyable as a Pond Fan

I watched this series as a Pond Naravit fan, hoping to support his work. The only saving grace for me was his part as Alan. However, I found the friends-to-lovers storyline distasteful, especially with Khaotung pining for an older man. It reeks of grooming young girls to think this is romantic, and it's disturbing that a Thai larkorn would normalize such pedophilic tendencies. The director, being a man, apparently didn't see anything wrong with it. Alan's love for Khaotung seemed shallow, merely based on her looks. She was a bland and boring eye candy in the series, and I couldn't believe the director made her book-smart but common-sense stupid, a typical Thai larkorn formula. They attempted to remake a Thai rom-com like "While You Were Sleeping" and failed.

If you enjoy toxic mother and brother characters, this series has plenty of prime content for you. The male lead comes across as a doormat, and the female lead is senseless and deceitful, playing nice but lying. The series is filled with enablers for these toxic characters, making it a larkorn that might appeal more to the Thai audience than international fans like me.

The only redeeming quality about the mother is that she mourned the death of the father, while everyone else seemed unaffected. Alan was unaffected by the father's death and made a funny comment to the mother about hers.

Despite having a cast of good actors, the crappy script and larkorn-style direction disappointed me.

Overall, it's worth watching for Pond's performance as Alan or if you're a hardcore larkorn fan. Otherwise, you might find yourself feeling frustrated and wanting to throw your iPad across the room, just like I wanted to on many occasions. If it wasn't for Pond's being in this series, I would not have watched this series at all.

UNDERRATED

I really can't understand why this show is so underrated. I watched nine episodes thinking "next episode will ruin everything" and episode 10 is indeed a little weaker than the rest of the episodes, but it's stil okay. The show isn't perfect, but it's a good journey.

Let's start talking about Book's acting. I tried to watch ABAAB before watching this show and I couldn't even pass episode six cause I thought Book's acting so forced, I couldn't stand Cher. But in Enchanté I think his acting was in the right place, I think he portraid Theo in a very elegant way. I saw that many people hate Theo, but I think I have a liking to shady characters. I like that he didn't let anyone deceive him, instead he was the one deceiving everybody.

About Akk I don't have much to say, he was perfect, I fell in love with him. I already enjoyed Force's work in ABAAB, but I think here he was amazing!!! Akk is so charismatic it's impossible not to fall in love with him!! And the chemistry... they have sooo much chemistry!!! All the kisses were so delicious!! Also, all the songs are good and Gawin is perfect as Saifah!

About the polemic finale I think the parents drama is indeed boring but I understand Theo, he lost his foundation that was based on his parents love, so he was lost for a while but I think even put himself together quite fast. And I thought P'Sun would be an annoying character who appears in the last episode and fly from France to Thailand just to steale Theo, but he wasn't, he was just a friend and kind of nice.

Anyway, I see lots of terrible dramas with score higher than this, I was even reluctant to watch cause I thought it was gonna be a terrible show, but it wasn't, it's definitely a good show and really fun to watch!!!

Big Beautiful Mess w/Fantastic Acting

Xianxias are my least favorite genre so made myself watch for XZ and hoped that the storyline would hold. Other actors were familiar to me as well and did very well however the plot was a bust. Every actor was commendable in doing their part just wished for a good story.

Pros: Favorite character was hard because there were several that did very well for different reasons. SY as ML had to go through the myriad of emotions and evolutions and he did so very convincingly. XZ didn't disappoint in this role; it was far different than what he'd done before and I like that he doesn't have a box he sticks himself in but tries different characters and styles. Of course, however, it being a costume drama, a flute made an appearance which brought a smile to my face. CM as the 7,000 year old mystical bird was hysterical, sometimes you wanted to smack him, other times hug him. I've never seen the actor before but he did a good job. Alan Feng as ZY, was also very versatile but I did feel his was a tragic character; that said, he did play good and possessed pretty convincingly. Lastly, I have to give it up for Han Dong or High Priest who was our biggest morally gray character in the entire thing. Usually this actor plays crazy antagonists but here he actually cared about someone other than himself and sacrificed himself for that person.

All of the other characters for the most part were there as needed and played their roles well. This was a big budget production so obviously CGI, costumes, sets were stunning as were the OSTs.

Cons: This storyline absolutely threw me; hence the low score. I know the standard operating procedure for xianxias with the baby voiced, talking to yourself, gorilla glue FLs, the misunderstandings, deaths and multiple resurrections, so on and so forth. But this had to have so many subplots and boring portions that didn't make sense that I legit had to skip episodes. Honestly, you had the merfolk/dragon plot, the palace politics nonsense, cultivators and their lives, and if that wasn't enough throw in a Sauron looking character who wanted to possess two rings not one and an ice clan that left midway and returned out of nowhere. Plus the Sauron thing could possess people by jumping them. Only thing missing was Frodo and the fellowship. Those two last episodes looked like they belonged in a totally different series; like something out of a Marvel film; very sci-fi. It was a very big beautiful mess with fantastic acting.

What was up with that ending though? When I saw "BE" trending on Weibo, I wasn't sure what to think but then when I saw it for myself, I understood. So our ML dies yet again, and a year later is resurrected when FL just randomly chucks the petal into the tree where they first met as kids from said petal. But is he real or a ghost because they stand like 10 feet apart just smiling at each other before credits role. Couldn't they at least show them hugging? And couldn't she have sent that petal into the tree earlier so he could come back? It really defies logic.

Would I recommend it? Only if you like xianxias and are a fan of any actors. Otherwise, the story is not worth it though like I said the actors did a fantastic job. I wish better scripts for the actors; with all of their skill and talent, they deserve that.

Entertaining Action Drama with Great Bromance

This was a well-rounded mini-series that used its eight episodes to create a well-paced action plot that was very entertaining to watch. Mini-series tend to be my favourite K-dramas because they, the good ones, excel in pacing; creating a story where we as an audience have a clear end goal that we want the main characters to achieve.

The first episode itself is gripping and had me hooked the whole time, within one episode the main characters, and great friendship, are introduced. From the get-go, I was rooting for Woo-Jin and Geon-Woo because they had personalities that complemented each others strengths well. A clear motive is even set for the main characters by the end of episode one with the main villain and company as the antagonists of the story.

When watching this show I was reminded of John Wick, and yes I am a sucker for those movies, and the fight scenes within those movies. The shifting angels and intense shift of close-up to full-length shots make the scenes very immersive and feel realistic. The boxing by both Woo-Jin and Geon-Woo felt very smooth and I was never taken out of the action scenes. Each punch and fight is strategic and effective, the two characters do not engage in unnecessary fights. The element of a logical and calculated fight made the scenes feel intense but also exciting. Throughout the drama the fights, as the main leads get stronger, also intensify and create a sense of power towards reaching the end goal of the drama.

If you're looking for a drama that has great action scenes, while also maintaining a lovely friendship that grows stronger, then this drama is perfect for you!

a beautiful and comforting show that i wish leaned a bit more into the romance

ohh how i loved this show until the end; the unexpected mystery murder plot really reeled me in and the characters are all so soft and loveable ♡

the lessons to be learned and the natural acting + appearances of said actors gave the whole show a very refreshing atmosphere.

the only reason its not higher rated is i was really yearning for more romance between the two leads by the end. it was being built up really well by the middle of the series, yet by the end i found myself wishing there was just... more of it

It's a good watch if you're mindlessly bored

The drama was kind of dragged out in my opinion..... Like I didn't need 15+ episodes of the FL pining after the ML just for her to reject his advances when he was interested in her...... Also the FL was spoil and selfish and I didn't like how she was unconcerned about everything else in her life besides the ML. Also I thought the acting for the FL was terrible in regard to the intimate scenes between the male and female lead. You could tell that she was uncomfortable being physical with him from her hesitations and facial expressions. Anyways.... like I said if you have absolutely nothing to do you could watch it I guess.

Slow Burn Suspense, but Entertaining.

I started this show with no high hopes. This is not a typical watch for me, but I was pleasantly surprised.

As slow as it could be at times, I was never was bored while watching. The acting was decent, especially from the FL. The plot was not all that spectacular, but it had nice twists that made up for its "lack of plot."

Even so, there were a few things I didn't like:
1. The romance-I enjoyed it, but it was kind of unnecessary. It didn't make much sense to put it in, and the ML was quite a jerk in the beginning. I didn't like how much time they spent on the romance in the first part, and then abruptly ended it. Then the FL decides that she's in love with him, even though didn't spend much time together.
2. The time skip in the middle- It wasn't a huge deal, but they didn't show how or why the FL went from being the maid to the manger. I was quite confused.
3. The mother- She wasn't bad, but I don't understand where she got those photos from. She would have had to go inside the house to take the photos...

What I liked:
1. The antagonist- They did a good job at making her and the husband very dislikable. I liked the dynamic between characters. I will say, the dad was a top doctor, but extremally brainless. He was the most annoyingly dumb character I've seen.
2. The end- The twist was unpredictable, but I am glad it ended that way. I was scared for a second that the ML had been the arsonist, because I liked his character. It would have ruined it for me.
3. How well rounded the characters were- Most of them had a very interesting personality's. The antagonist had a social media praise addiction, which was a nice touch. The FL was smart and I liked how she took care of her sister. The rich ML who made money off of the demise of other rich people. Etc.

All in all, I would recommend for someone in future, and I really enjoyed it.

Started slow and ended with a bang this show is amazing !

This is the first C Drama that started off slow and builded so well as the show progressed. It usually happens the opposite way start off strong and dulls out towards the end. This show has a lot of great messages. I really love the character build up. This show was so unpredictable. There is so many twist and turns. You would never be able to guess what going to happen next in the show. I love the extended episodes. The main characters did so great they brought out a lot of emotions in the show . You can tell a lot of effort was put into the show.

I will highly recommend this Drama once you get pass episode 15 the show just starts moving and get's more and more interesting. Kudos to the whole crew. I know that I will be watching this show again . I am, highly impressed.

excellent series

It was BOMB!!!! So good! The acting was excellent from all the actors. Can’t wait for the sequel. Bullies should watch the show and learn from it. How not to mess with folks. Cause people are going to snap and when they do…. WATCH OUT! I found myself screaming at the tv screen especially in episode 7 and 8. Things happened so fast that I wasn’t expecting but I was definitely on board with the character and had his back 100%. The parents depicted in the series we losers in my opinion and didn’t have a clue.

Second season of mini-show with revenge-plot

Season 2 starts a bit abrupt, but I guess the child FL gives birth to in season 1 is killed and FL thinks ML did it. The storyline goes from romance to revenge-plot..
ML is even more narrow-minded and suspicious than before, but him seeing what he thinks is FL’s lookalike, awakens his sorrow and longing for his deceased consort.
FL is out to avenge her lost child and decides to try to become the Lord's consort again.
Acting wise this is like season 1 since it’s the same bunch of actors. They are definitely not bad, but there is room for improvement.
Well, if you like something short, this is actually worth watching and the end in this is satisfying.
