One of the best dramas, really

Let me start that I watched this drama half a year ago (if not more) and I just love it. Beautifully done when it comes to the set design itself, the story is also not bad. It's beautiful! ❤ I've already watched it 2 or 3 times! It's so addictive to watch that you can't put it down. I can't describe it myself, but I'll try..

Friend of the main character, has dates arranged by someone from the family (probably dad, but I don't remember exactly and I don't want to give false information) At first, Shin Ha-ri (the main character) does not agree, but at the persuasion of money, she goes on a date with Taemoo. Blah blah blah so she pretends to be a weird chick to get rid of him as soon as possible but he's starting to get more interested.

I don't want to say more, because it could be taken as a spoiler, and I don't want this comment to be like that.

One of the most heartfelt Cdrama!!

Okay so I'm writing this after completing this show!

I decided to watch it bec of the main lead but the show surprisingly had so much more to offer❤

The main actor was so cute and handsome

The female lead amazing and very cute

And obviously everyone loves the cute kid

Then we also get to see 5 more handsome boys?

Moreover strong female characters!

And dealing with traumas and family issues?

Some episodes made me shed some tears?

But honestly this show was quite short and amazing to watch ???

King the land for Advertising

I don't understand if the story was really good or not .
but there is a lot of advertising for clothes and for the places they travel to...for makeup and for drinks....is the series a romantic story or is it a story to pass advertisements for clothes, watches, drinks and shoes.... and to confirm my words.
Lee Jun Ho in this drama was a men who fall in love but he makes advertisements for clothes, some facial makeup, and other frivolous things. this is too much in every episode
I apologize if no one likes my opinion, but unfortunately this is the reality of this romantic drama.

Probably one of the best dramas of 2023

This drama is one of a kind, the storyline, characters just wow, it's probably the first drama where I've binge-watch it in one day.

I did have to look away from the bullying scenes since it was too graphic.
The cast and crew did an excellent job in this drama.
After I finished watching the drama I watched the behind the scenes and it's so weird to see the "bully's" being so nice to Dong Eun I was screaming ITS A TRAP!!!!! RUN DONG EUN!!!!! As you can see from what I've said it just proves what an amazing job the actors did to portray so evil.

I'm so used to Song Hye Kyo to playing a wholesome and happy character to now seeing her in a whole new light just shows how an incredible actress she is

Idk why I didn't cry?

Holy shit what a drama was in absolute shock and disbelief for 2 days
I was expecting the ending but jesus I didn't think it was going to hit me hard I'm surprised I didn't cry

All the characters were unique but god they were so SUS
There were so many plot twists O MY GOD
I did have to skip half of the political parts as it was difficult to watch and dragged too long but my god for Jisoo first acting role well done
At first I though Jisoo character was going to be a damsel in distress but I'm so glad she started to fight back

I love the character Jang Hanna she is such a badass I'm sad they didn't show more of the past relationship of herself and Kang Moo but I'm happy they are together at the end

What an intense drama

Holy shit yessss another epic action drama So. Many. Plot. Twists.
I love a good action/adventure drama/movie
It's hard to believe that it's based off a true story well not all bits but still a true story what in the James Bond, who's the fella that had an adventure/almost dying story.
I screamed when I saw Anupam Tripathi and Park Hae-soo from Squid Game.

I love the character development of Kang Ingu from a poor man to taking down a drug dealer.
The pastor pissed me off "god told me to do this, god told me to do that, god told me to put a bullet in that guys fucking head"
This is why I'm not a very religious person, I respect people and their beliefs but when someone quotes the bible constantly to the point that they do something bad or they're known has a awful person I'm sorry but you are such a hypocrite.

BOYISH GROWTH AND VALUES

"Why are we fighting this war? For our country, for our nation, so that our families can live peacefully in this New China. Our duty is to defend our nation and our home"

The project took 5 years from initial concept to script, with filming beginning in December 2022 and then wrapping in April 2023.
In order to shoot some scenes, they shot at MINUS 40 DEGREES...
This is a political and propaganda drama, showing Chinese courage and bravery to sacrifice for their ideals and Korean ingratitude to turn away from them and serve the enemy.
I loved Wang Ziqi as Wanli ❤️ his growth and maturity shows throughout the drama as he bonds with his teammates. of the squad. I felt particularly close to Qianli though. This drama really makes you experience the real feelings and sensations on the skin, becoming more captivating and intense.
Between the cruelty of war and friendship, it was also suffering.
Melancholy but hopeful ending, realistic one, heartfelt one.
Honor to those martyrs.

I can't believe it's a true story

The plot, the characters, the storyline everything about it is so wholesome
love how Jun hyung fell in love with Bok Joo first, the way he teased her with names like chubs is cute (Out of Context it sounds like bullying but I swear it isn't).

I'm so happy Dr Jung realised at the end that his future wife was right in front of him. I did feel bad for her being in love with them for 10 years but being scared to tell them, I shouted yes queen when she confessed and cut ties, I swoon when Jung kept visiting her you can see he started to fall for her.

I love how both Nam Joo-hyuk and Lee Sung-kyung dated after the drama aired.
The food scenes made me so hungry.
Give Bok Joo father a round of applause pushing aside your career to raise a child as a single father, owning a chicken shop to support both of you what a guy, his brother played by Myung Seok is a perfect balance of sunshine to match with Bok Joo serious/grumpy father

I absolutely despised the ex girlfriend until we saw how brutal her life was, omg I wanted to slap her coach, I'm so glad she escaped andd changed to be a better and supportive person.
The cute subtle hints of awkwardness between Jun hyung roommate and Bok Joo friend, I squealed when he asked her to hang out with him without her other friend, the awkwardness at the movies

WHOLESOME AF

It has been awhile since a drama has hooked me straight away
I love how wholesome this drama is
It's an eye opener when it comes to austism more specifically spectrum disorder and how it effects someone on their day to day life.

Young woo is such an interesting character, the way she memorises what's on a piece of paper just by looking at it once, she is very observant, obviously she doesn't know when it is appropriate to talk about her whale obsession or when it's the right time to speak but she is willing to learn. The way they portray her lightbulb as a whale coming out of the water is hilarious.
I love how the other attorneys on the team Myung seok, Su yeon and Joon ho.
The character min woo I absolutely despised for treating my girl young woo with so much disrespect, doing everything in his power to destroy her but that scene in Ep 15 of him protecting young woo ?? thank you for protecting her.....I still don't like you tho

The head of the team myung seok is like an older brother to young woo yes at the start he was a little stunned and annoyed by how many times she would interrupt him but eventually grew to adore her and her ways.
Joon ho was the first friend she made at the job, he helped her with the revolving door, listened to her endless facts about whales and went along with anything she wanted. He is the epitome of the perfect boyfriend.
Su Yeon also known as spring sunshine is such a beautiful tsundere person who is very protective over young woo. At first I thought she was going to turn into such a bitch after finding out that Joon Ho liked young woo, she protected and never left young woo side even if her career was at stake. I hate that Su yeon and Min woo got together at the end Su yeon you deserve so much better bruh idk whats in the air in Jeju island but it some how changed everyone.

Her father is such an adorable man that deserves the world. Raising young woo alone as a single parent, being very protective over her, wanting the best for her, giving up his career as an attorney just so he could give everything for his daughter god dad goals ?
Young woo best friend geu rami is an ADHD golden retriever, she too is very protective of her best friend and a mega shipper for young woo and Joon ho her boss min shik aka hairy boss is so wholesome aswell awkward at times but adorable.

Was it scripted or am I just stupidly dumb?

the only reason I'm saying that is because junseongho are coming to their 200th day together and this show was only aired a few months ago which makes me think it was either scripted or they filmed it a while ago and only just aired it, I also saw a pic of the cast members looking at these sheets of paper which I thought was to kinda lead them in a certain direction. I am honestly really confused right now and I know that there have been shows just like this that were 100% scripted but I don't think it was like that in this case, at most like I previously stated they were encouraged to move down a certain pathway y'know?

Could anybody clear it up for me because I'm a bit confused on how they've been together for almost a year at this point even though the show has only been out for about 2 months?

intriguing story that hooks you in

originally came into this thinking it’d be one of those ‘filler’ dramas I watch when nothing exciting is being aired. but it was actually one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. while it doesn’t do anything widely unique in terms of story, it brings out the question of how justice is defined by different people and it leaves us wondering at different points of whether violence or the law would have worked better in that situation consistently. it also had a rather great list of side characters who made the Lee Ro Um Group feel much more full of life. it does get a bit slow at times, but the eventual plot twists made it worth it

Not the best but definitely not bad

The story set up was really good from season one. I was looking forward to the revenge execution. First off, how did Dongeun manage to save so damn much money. There are too much plot holes like ...What happened to Soohee's case? How did Jaejun didn't know about Meyongo's ipad in his own car? How come Yeonjin easily agreed for a procedure in the dr Joo's hospital, it was like the story was going the way it is cause the writer wrote it that way. How did Do yeong know those thugs who worked for officer Shin? It felt like everyone knew everything. When Yeonjin found out about Mrs Kang I thought something interesting was coming up but Yeonjin was stupidly betrayed by her cause she was just verbally and casually threatening her. Things like how Dongeun know the mother of the guy Hyejeong was going to marry? How did Joo's mother know where Dongeun was and she happened to reach at the perfect time to save her? Who is the lady at the shrine in the end? Wait, that naked boob job scene was so unecessary. If you use your brain a little you'll understand it's the writer's world you're in not anything as near as realistic.

Things I liked are....Doyeong's unconditional love for Yesol even after knowing the truth. How everyone turned blades against each other, lol it was so fun to watch....that lady Dongeun saved....and the actors' and actresses' acting. It was a good watch but I won't rewatch it.

overall unsatisfying

this drama... i watched through episode after episode filled with anticipation only to slowly lose interest until finally asking myself "...that's it?" at the end. it felt like freshly brewed tea slowly going cold without ever being drunk. just a waste.

what this drama does have is amazing character arcs. i sometimes felt compelled to continue watching only to see where my most beloved characters would end up. sadly, the rest of the writing is not comparable.

free my man yan xun, he did it all but i don't care!

A Warmed Up Love had a promising start. We open episode one with our female lead, Kiki, sharing the difficult trajectory her life has taken, going from a popular J-pop idol to a nobody struggling with purpose and identity. It's very grounded and believable while still having touches of humor and lightheartedness (she's sharing her burdens with a customer service employee who doesn't know how to respond to a heartfelt confession seeing as her job is dealing with customer complaints, lol.) It's a really great opening on what sort of person Kiki is, the struggles she faces, and it immediately hooked me. Mori Nana is also fantastic at capturing what a young woman is really like, an ability she keeps going for at least the five episodes I watched.

But while I loved Kiki and wanted to see her succeed, there's very little going on around her in the story that I found either compelling or believable.

For starters, I was completely uninterested in all the business drama. It boils down to people fighting for control of a company because of money and greed, but the drama paints it as some sort of emotionally resonate plotline about believing in the power of sweets and a fight to make quality products and doing what's best for the company. This was kind of hard to believe when no one on the board actually cares about any of these things, not even the male lead. Yes, part of his character trajectory was obviously going to be him 'overcoming' his sweets trauma and learning to care about creating delicious and comforting sweets, but this sort of storyline has already been done so often (and truthfully, better), that I didn't care.

Of course, it doesn't help that Takumi is essentially a cardboard cutout with no real personality. This is due to a combination of minimal acting on Nakamura Tomoya's part and a serious lack of characterization in the writing. Takumi is incredibly bland, his only real personality trait, aside from being stoic and determined in a boardroom, beings that he hates sweets, and for the majority of the five eps I watched, he either had little to no facial expression or a fake smile that screamed acting from a mile away.

I was also completely unmoved by the romance. With Takumi's lack of personality and how believably young and inexperienced Mori Nana's portrayal of Kiki is, I found the age-gap to be distracting and unnecessary. The writers also do little to no work creating compelling reasons for either of them to like each other. For Takumi, it's clearly the typical 'my love interest speaks her mind and is earnest' approach, and Kiki is certainly forthright and determined in her opinions and view of life. But while I don't inherently dislike this romance trope, it's also not interesting or fleshed out at all in this drama. As to what Kiki would find attractive about Takumi, I could never tell. To reiterate, he's as bland as a piece of toast.

Truthfully, her crush on him is a level of intense I found unbelievable. Near the beginning of the drama, Kiki discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her and then in the same moment, he dumps her, pinning the blame for his cheating on her. This would be devastating to most people, but Kiki's reaction is rather subdued. We don't know much about their relationship before that moment, so maybe there is a good reason for her to not be as devastated as you might expect, but then she immediately develops a crush on Takumi, and when she learns that he may still love his ex, she's distraught. She literally sobs in a stairwell. There is a serious discontent between these two responses. Her boyfriend cheating on her and then dumping her is no more thana small blip on her life timeline, but when her boss who's much older than her and whom she knows next to nothing about might love someone else, it's a tragedy?

My last real complaint for this drama is that while I get her interest in sweets and in reviewing them online, and I can totally see how that might transition into a legitimate job of taste-testing products to see which ones should be sold in a store, I could never get behind the idea of how reviewing sweets would give the female lead the requisite skills to actually make them herself. No one even bothers to find out if she knows how to cook. Now, I've been known to overlook details like this in other dramas, so this wasn't a make-or-break issue for me. But when all of the most important elements of a story don't work for you, even the smallest issues are a frustration.

It always leaves me frustrated when a drama starts out thoughtful and introspective before turning bland and uninspired, and that's exactly what happened with A Warmed Up Love. I can certainly see other viewers liking, or even loving, this drama, so I won't say no one should watch it. But man, if you're not going to carry that thoughtful heart all the way through a story's conclusion, then why even start?

You should try it

I was concerned about the age gap between female lead and male lead. to my surprise they are both Good. i love the communication between them, though I've only seen 10 episodes I think they'd make a great couple. drama empowers woman and I love it even more. showing a woman who doesn't put her fate in others hands. she goes after it. I should say female Lead is exceptional for this role, wisely chosen. I am glad I started it. you guys should consider it. it's great drama, trust me!!! Don't mind the Age gap, once you get into it, it forgot about it
