Love the leads

Love Zhao Lusi in everything she does ❤️❤️❤️ Love the lead actors ❤️❤️❤️ Does anyone know what happened to Jiao Rui? He's so handsome and manly. He portrayal his role so well, like he's holding an ocean of emotions. I'd really love to see more of his works and I really hope he is well. Get your tissues ready, this movie is so sad 😢😢 Being switched at birth and living in a world of love. En Xi is sweet and kind and being loved by people around her and 2 handsome men, just wish Xu Kai put on more weight! That little house perched by the water has so much character.

short & very fast version of Korean AutumnTale

Maybe the one represent my mind already wrote by baylyn. Yeah rather than movie this more like very very long trailer. This movie really remind me of Korean classic endless love story drama, that today I just find out the real title is Autumn Tale & this movie based on.

If you just watch this movie you will find out many many plot holes & confusion along the way. It just so confusing with their way jumping from 1 scene to other. The one supposed to be very loveable & touching scene & plot became so annoying & short with all the lack of explanation.

Yeah I really hope for China to have this version of drama instead they insisted to make a movie out of this drama. Actually this drama can be a good movie if you know how to make the right scrip & where to stop at this drama.

If you want to have all the right feeling for this movie, just skip this movie & just watch the Korean version of Autumn Tale. That drama make my eyes so sour to open because so many cry I did while watch that drama :P. I give this movie quite high rating because I still honor the Korean drama plot itself.

an unrefined boy

this drama must be a remake one of the Korean drama with the same title. Xu Kai must have been a rookie in the movie industry then. I can't believe he is the same Xu Kai as I see today. He looked quite unrefined. I suppose his appearance has totally improved by been watched by a number of people,

I started this movie thinking that it is inspired by classic Korean dramas but got highly disappointed. It had got a good story with excellent actors but the script felt flat. the execution and editing were the worst. This was a 2 hr long movie and the scene would transition was pathetic. it feels like I had skipped something, but NO THE SCENES WERE NOT MISSING, NEITHER I SKIPPED, IT WAS LIKE FILL IN THE BLANKS or read in between the lines.

I didn't get the ending also, why is the ML running it was so confusing. and the romance when did that happen to make such an ending? it vibed like incest although they were not related so I definitely didn't like it.

The acting was average nothing special.

Great actors, bad writing, worse editing!

Who edited this thing?? It was so chopped up you could barely follow what was happening. Overall, it was a very bizarre show as presented. Maybe it once made sense before it got edited to death.

How about a clear ending? I think she dreamed the wedding then died. In the dream she married the "brother" since they had matching white clothes, and the 2nd ML handed her over to him.
Hopefully the ML will choose to pick up his acting career again, he was quite good. All the actors did very well with what they were given to work with.

Euhhhh...

Nice movie, but too many loopholes. Many scenes are missing. Her illness came out of nowhere. The double proposal was too weird for me....

This movie could have easily got a 8-9 and even 10 stars if it was 2h-2,30h long or short drama.

Xu Kai did an amazing acting job. Almost feels like the character was designed for him. I like all of Xu Kai drama, but this rôle was made for him. Excellent work.

It still worth watching. The production team did with the material that was given to them.

Can't seem to grasp the storyline

I watched this because I noticed Zhao LuSi was part of the cast and it would be my first movie of Zhao LuSi. The synopsis was written that made it sound really interesting. However, I am sadden to say that this movie.... not very good. The storyline has alot of holes and seemed - like some of the reviews here wrote - very choppy and sometimes out of place. The way the movie jumped from one scene to another, sometimes without any link to each other is very annoying and disruptive also. The casts, despite the choppy"ness" of the script / storyline, all did a good job on this.

I would say that if you read the synopsis provided and it caught your interest, yea sure then go watch it. As for a rewatch... for me personally, not really worth the 2nd watch. Too much nonsensical areas and gaps.

The Ending is a little bit confusing

To be honest the first part of the movie was cute and really good but then as soon as they found out the truth and she went back to her real family, things started to be confusing. I like the scene where the F.L. ( Zhao Lusi) met the M.L. (Xu Kai) for the first time. I also liked how the role played out. But the big question ive had when she met her brother was, "Are they dating or what?" because if they are dating then id rate the story even lower. And if not, i dont really care.

And also at the end, both men proposed to her and never answered any of them instead it cut right to the wedding scene and i dont know who the real groom is. But when it showed to the bery last scene, her brother walking alone under the bridge, i am thinking that she chose the M.L. (Xu Kai). I think this movie would he great if it was a series because of the cutscenes or the transitioning, the story became blurry and confusing. If this is remade into a series i would really look for it.

For the roles and actors and actresses, they played it all out really well. I hope when they remake this into a series, the actors and actresses would he the same because i really like Zhao Lusi and Xu Kai as for the others i dont really mind them.

Thats my review on this film i hope it is useful

A Suitcase-full of Sadness

I won't repeat the summary here but the movie failed to convey it's actual message.

On one hand, the movie is trying to tell the actual meaning of a family- a unit of people who are dependent on each other and care for each other; it is not be determined just by who you are born to. While, on the other hand, those having brotherly-sisterly feelings for each other get married! (Wait, WHAT!!??) That's what I call as 'insist' (yeah, I'm trying a wordplay with homophones, if yk, yk)

Looks like the director completed this movie in a week. There was no romantic buildup between the couple that end up together. Had it been a drama, they could at least have the space to show that like Go Ahead. It could still be a pretty good movie had they not wasted too much time on the sisters-swapping part. Emotions shown were deep and necessary for us to understand young girls' mental state but it could have been much shorter.

Cinematography (overall aesthetics) was dark, to complement the dark theme but maybe they could at least make the play-house scene more colourful as it was to show cheerful childhood memories. So it was okay-ish.

The only thing I actually liked was acting. Every single tear that dropped seemed so real. Every single smile looked so fake. Every single character was so gloomy.

In short, The whole movie is full of sadness. Watch it if you are bored of being happy.

Thumbs up: Acting
Thumbs down: everything else

An ok filler when you're between shows

At the start, it's a little strange that they find out their children were swapped and then they, somehow, easily find the mother who has their child. Some places the emotion or acting seemed a little strained, but the actors all did well. It was a sad, but interesting & frustrating movie to watch. Unfortunately, it won't be on my rewatch list

Wish I could give it a 0.

It's a shame because I REALLY love Lusi, and I strictly watched this movie for her (to be honest, lol). And I'm seriously not even sure what I just watched. The fast forwards and time skips wouldn't have been so bad if there was... some semblance of explanation. There's no feel of this spanning even more than a week time wise. It feels like this entire story (from the time skip) was like. Two days. I don't even know how to explain this movie, because I am.. seriously not sure what I just watched. So confusing. None of it made any sense. 😭😭😭

I watched this to fill a lull between being uninterested in finishing the current shows I'm in the middle of and : I seriously do not recommend even wasting your time, unless you're just THAT curious.

Not worthy of your time at all

I'm sorry- but this movie was not what I had expected. Initially, I had come across the trailer where it portrayed a strong FL, but I was really disappointed. Many parts of the movie was rushed and did not flow together- **spoiler alert** one point they're cutting down the memorable tree and the next the FL is in the hospital on her death bed. The relationships were never developed and the whole time I felt confused on what was happening. We never received any character development or any story plot at all.
