Rooftop Prince was a great drama with a fresh story line (for me anyway). The only other time travel drama I've watched was Faith and I'm a few episodes into Queen In Hyun's Man so I don't have much to compare it to. The concept was very original and new for me so I really enjoyed watching it. The whole idea of reincarnation of people from the past and trying to piece read more together a murder was very interesting. The scheming was at an all time high in Rooftop Prince and I finally had to fast forward through about 4 episodes. I just couldn't take it anymore. I did go back and watch them after I finished the drama but there are some pretty evil characters in this.

The cast was great! Micky Yoochun can really show passion and emotion through his acting making it very convincing for the viewer. I've only seen him in I Miss You and I noticed that about him in that drama as well. The bickering between Park Ha and Lee Kak was cute and funny, but they were also incredibly adorable together. You're heart really broke for them towards the end. Watching Lee Kak and the 3 men who time traveled with him figure out life in the present day was very funny. All 4 of them have great comedic chemistry. I HATED Se Na! I'm not sure I've met a character that got under my skin as much as her. She was truly evil! Tae Mu was bad too but he was pretty much clumsily trying to cover his tracks and getting really desperate. Se Na was just plain out to get Park Ha and completely ruin her.

Just like in Faith, Ali sang a very touching song for this drama and it was played often. I never got sick of it though. She's an amazing singer and loved listening to her song.

Overall, I really liked it. Is it the best I've ever seen? No, but it was still a very well written, very well acted drama. Definitely glad I watched it and will probably watch it again sometime in the future.

This Drama was amazing! I love the story line, it's not those typical time traveling dramas. You must watch it. I wouldn't watch it again but that's because I don't like re-watching a drama. If you haven't watched this drama you really should. The music really goes well with the Joseon era scenes.
You can watch this Drama on Youtube, Drama load, Ep drama & DramaFever (To watch it on Drama fever read more you must be a USA resident, I'm not so I couldn't watch it on there :p)

Total score : 100/100 It's really a good Drama ^^

IT ENDS THE SAME EXACT WAY FOR SOME CRAZY REASON. Except Gu Family Book doesn't have a sequel, neither does Rooftop Prince, BUT GFB NEEDS A SEQUEL. It kills me even now..

Just like 49 Days, the main theme surrounding Rooftop Prince involved scheming, greed and theft of property/money.

Both shows focuses on the struggle of the MC in terms of finding out that the people closest to them were the ones who hated them the most. However, they each don't find it out directly as themselves.

I think it's really enjoyable just as 49 Days and it both captures the theme powerfully in a sense.

Still my favorite drama. Idk but this is the only drama that manages to be sad and funny at the same time. And with sad I mean so sad that it makes you cry and sob out loud and with funny I mean you can't help but laugh until your stomach hurts. And all that in every single episode. Definitely not boring but mustwatch drama! Go and watch it already lol

Halfway through the series.. & I Must say, I love how RP manages to be a romantic and semi-tearjerking drama without loosing it's comedy. Undoubtedly one of the funniest drama's I've ever watched and definitely the best romcom drama!!
