Rooftop Prince is now my favorite Korean drama of all. The actors, story, music, and scenes are really great. All I can say is that you can be swept away by the emotions that the actors are portraying all throughout this drama.

You'll be definitely hooked once you started watching this and can't stop yourself until you've finished the 20 episodes of it. You'll love every moment watching this drama!!! I love it so much!!!

This drama was absolutely amazing.

I started watching this drama because a friend had told me so much about it. She knew I was a sucker for romance, and thought I'd enjoy this drama.

The music was mesmerizing, and fantasically helps display the different emotions portrayed in the drama. The cast was perfect. The two leading roles had sizzling chemistry. :D

The plot was very interesting. It kept me watching episode by read more episode...I didn't skip any parts!!

I especially loved how the plot of this super amazing drama makes the viewers think if there is a "fated" or "destined" person out in the world for them (if you watch the drama, you'll understand what I mean).

I honestly recommend this drama for viewers who are looking for a romantic, historical-modern, and comedic drama. Or, for viewers who are looking for dramas that could help the time past. This is also the perfect drama to cry and laugh to.

Also, in terms of the rewatch value, I gave it a 10, because the drama captures so much detail. The filiming was beautifully captured. :)

"The Rooftop Prince" is definitely one of my favourite dramas ever!! I finished this drama in three days. That's how great this is!

Both have a Joseon man jumping into the present day and having to understand reality.

Roof top prince and the best hit both are similar. The main lead both go to the present to solve a mystery.

In roof top prince, it is about a prince, who gets sent to the present to find out what happened to the princess in the past life, similar to Hyun Jae's character but to find out about his disappearance.

Both drama's have cute love story as well.

I liked the Story of the past but everything else were kind of annoying to me. I don't understand the high rate

I just started this and boy is it confusing. I'm slowly answering some of my questions by myself, but now confused cause lists Lee Tae Sung as Prince Moo chan, but I thought Park Yoo Chun played the prince. Is the character Crown Prince Yi Gak the same as Lee Kak (Yoo Chun's listed character). Maybe I'll understand better as I keep watching?

Also, I wish the characters with double names were all listed as "Joseon name"/"present name". Maybe I'm wrong, but from what I can tell, this is not the case. I've loved learning about Korean history and culture watching these dramas, so feel free to teach me things!

Didn't like this one at all, something just felt "off". Lack of depth... Dropped halfway in.

I really hate historical dramas but can someone at least tell me where I can start with historical dramas? Would this be a good start so I would get use to it? I heard Gu Family Book is a good start but I don't know. Someone please talk to me about which one to start with?

I highly recommend Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People (2017) to start with. I also dislike sageuk (historical) dramas but fell in love every single second from watching it.

Re watched this drama.. have seen a few of Ha Ji Min's and sorry to say this is only one she seems to come alive as an actress she's good. No idea why she seemed apathetic in her other roles it's been depressing bt will keep exploring. All other actors and actresses did so well too.. very well done drama!

ok done with this. a solid 9/10 .

it could have been perfect for me if it was shorter. 16 episode is enough. i feel that it did get a bit draggy somewhere in the middle.

this drama combines most of the Kdrama cliche you can think of :
    ☑ sibling rivalry
    ☑ love triangle
    ☑ revenge
☑ search for long lost daughter/mother
☑ family (in this case the grandma) trying to break up the main leads
    ☑ murder
    ☑ blackmailing
☑ hot villain (Lee Tae Sung)
☑ and of course, what Kdramas is well known for - AMNESIA (well sort off)

there's a lot more cringe worthy cliches in here but still it will keep you watching it till the end. it was a wonderful journey for me. highly recommended! :)

edit: if you can't stand mean characters, avoid this. i swear, Jung Yoo Mi takes the word bitch to a whole new level. if i could just get inside my laptop screen i will definitely pull all her hair out from her scalp and drown her in Han river. I hate her so much that i literally killed her in my mind a hundred times. (lol sorry need to vent that out)

This was a great drama. Anyone who is wondering youshould just watch this drama. It really good and creative. Though the description above does not give a detailed enough description of the drama. It is way better than you think.
