Hyun Seung has 2 sisters, one of the sisters own bridal shop. One day during Hyun Seung’s birthday dinner, he followed Song Ah and saw her with Jae Shin. He also noticed that one day Jae Shin said he’s going upstairs for meeting; he saw Song Ah put on the lipstick and disappeared too. Then one time while he was talking to his sister at her bridal’s shop, as he was leaving, he saw Jae Shin came with a different woman and his sister confirmed that they are one of her customers who will get married in 3 months. One month later, his sister told him that Jae Shin has made another appointment. In the office, he noticed Jae Shin said he is going upstairs for meeting then saw Song Ah put on the lipstick and disappeared. Jae Shin told Song Ah that he could not go out tonight. As she was leaving, Hyun Seung stopped her and asked if she is free tonight as he has something to show her. He told her that he heard everything, she was turned down by the guy who seems like her boyfriend. He then approached her and said that doesn’t suit you at all and wiped her lipstick and said don’t put on that lipstick.

what in the harassment?

1. You dont touch someone elses lips like that. ESPECIALLY not ur coworker. as someone on dramacool said "That last lipstick scene is inappropriate in so many levels. And it is creepy. And wrong. How can you touch someone's -anyones- lip? This is wrong, harrassement, and something that must be avoided unless you are a couple."2. The ML's reaction to dealing with his crush being cheated on infuriated me??????? like i get being mad that someones but how can that madness be so overflowing that it also transfers into u be a shitty prick to her calling her stupid and treating her like she is stupid because she's unbeknowest? As someone else from dramacool said (they said it way better than me and literally took the words out of my mouth but i just wanna reread it) "I don't really have a problem with the cliché setting, but Ro Won's character is a bit much. From what I understand he feels both angry that she's being used by her boyfriend and annoyed at her for being happy and unaware of her lover's trickery. It's not that I do not understand the possibility of feeling both of these emotions at the same time but nonetheless he seems to forget that he has no right to act the way that he does. Being cheated on and or lied to by your partner doesn't make you stupid, that's one. Two, her being cheated on doesn't magically mean that she would be interested in you... Also, don't touch people without their permission and give people their personal space. Though I don't have much hope for this I pray that they tackle his attitude problem and don't just add peach blossoms and some nice bgm and label it 'the power of love' T.T ."anyways. i dont like his character one bit. it looks like a high school typical bad boy ML who knows no basic decency or understands basic human feelings but his own. but uk high school dramas are meant to be like that so they can show the "development" or whatever of the bad boy ML into a decent character. But since this ain't a high school drama and he a grown as man. My initial EP1 impression of him is that he gives me bad bad vibes. psychopathic vibes? anger-induced psychopath vibes? who knows its just not good. oh but the creep vibes are 100% the lipstick scene was disgusting.

It’s fitting that in a series where a cosmetics company serves as a backdrop all the actors have had their faces surgically enhanced to an inch of their lives. So much unnaturalness is distracting though and a bit off-putting.

Great intro to the characters and the ending…

Great intro to the characters and the ending with the drama title line was heart throbbing. Rowoon is an absolute hunk, especially in the the green sweater.

A great start.

A great start. They established the basics of the show: introduced the characters, the relationships (or lack thereof), who they are, and the tension. It's not slow nor fast, it just right. Again, a great start.

Fast-paced, intriguing start

I really enjoyed this first episode. I like how quickly all of the characters were introduced and the setting was established. It was an action-packed episode. Rowoon does a good job as our lead. Not only is he absolutely gorgeous, he very clearly establishes his character with very few words. His body language, gaze and facial expressions express a lot that his never actually says out loud, even though he is pretty forthright with his feelings. I really feel for him and pity him.
It's difficult to get a read on the female lead. Even though we've seen plenty of her she's not really sympathetic yet. Although she isn't mean to Rowoon's character (her trainee), she is cold and professional. We see glimmers of her caring about him this episode, but they don't feel that natural or genuine because we haven't really gotten a chance to see what's going on inside her head. Rowoon feels like a more central character at the moment.
I really liked how the setting was established while still leaving room for expansion. The competitiveness of the office is firmly shown, which makes the secrecy of the office romance more understandable (as well as the female lead's reluctance to be anything but highly professional, she's under more pressure not to be implicated in rumours). Rowoon's character's relationship with his sisters is also efficiently established.
I'm not sure where things will go in quality from here. I feel like they could go way up or way down, but I'm excited to keep watching!

I am here for Rowoon ❤️ this guys just gets better every time he is on screen be it his attitude, physic , acting or singing. He conveys emotions so well that I am speechless. He is definitely the rising star ⭐ . Just his eyes are enough to convey the emotions. His acting is crisp and impactful. You can see he puts his heart and soul in his work. The 1st episode of the drama has so many twist, plus the acting!! I can't wait to see what the next 15 episode have for us.I have had goosebumps throughout watching them act, they are so convincing..
