A fresh drama.
SO I have not completed the series but the ep which i have finished i conclude that the the chemistry btw the leads is on fire, yes you read it write. The acting by everybody is great not too shallow niether overboard, their r sweet quarrels which u'll want to watch again nd again nd its not just btw the main leads but also btw the 2nd nd 3rd leads. Not too much of conspiracy but if u think its their it will not make the drama boring or burdensome to watch its an easy flowing story not hard to follow. ALL THE 3 FEMALE LEADS 1st, 2nd nd 3rd r strong women they r not your usual dumb female leads they r smart, intelligent nd savvy. ABOUT the female villain if u watch her story u'll find it a little difficult to hate her but not completely possible overall its a refreshing drama with good acting by all the actors yes their is a cliche point like amnesia but let's confess there r tons of drama like this u just can't leave this one bcz of one backdrop afterall that's how the story will progress. I kinda really enjoyed the drama. The plot, yes it is bit draggy in nature but the cast will keep u intact.. The second leads are fun to watch but will have to admit that the entire show is stolen by the main leads.. The MLs' cute avatar is delightful to watch.... I appreciate that the FL is not acting dumb or stupid here..i think i highly recommend it to the people who are aiming to watch some not sooo cutesy romcom but yeah a cute one... Guys c'mon its way better than intense love .... Still a long way to watch but the wait is killing me literally.... Why mgtv... Why dont u guys just post it on YouTube.... A CUTE FLUFFY STORY? YES GO FOR IT!!
Though this story had a very predictable plot it was still a good watch. The story conveyed the emotions and acting perfectly. The actors are good looking and even acted well. I personally enjoyed it. It did help me with my stress.PROS

☞The main couple were addictive to look at. I love the couple moments and how they gradually fell in love with each other, their little fights, etc.
☞The kiss scenes were a cherry on top.

☞I feel like the ending was too abrupt. Should have had more couple moments towards the end.
☞Some scenes are too over exaggerated.
I've noticed that a lot of people disliked the FL because of her lies but it didn't matter to me. The Ning Chengming ♡ Li Qian couple are too cute and I need a season 2 too badly! I would probably rewatch it with better subtitles on the official mgtv drama channel on YouTube. I would like to give it an overall 9 but I can't cos I need to be honest with my reviews, so I have carefully analysed with my sister and have given it an 8.5. The story isn't extraordinary but I loved it soo much because it swooped in and melted my heart right away. You guys need to give this a watch if ur interested. Don't ignore this one if u are hesitating and contemplating on it. U can watch a shorter version of this drama called essesnce version on the official mgtv YouTube.

A Simple Cute Light Drama
What can i say or from where should i begin....This drama could have hell lot of misunderstanding instead making it light drama it could have been the opposite.
But the story narration really amazed me...each character had his/her pov and what they reacted....each character nature attracted me...its realistic somewhat. I lovd the kidnapping part as FL really was amazong in it...i thought that her thing was to avoid problrms by just doging it by her words but damn that scene....i wont spoil more.
Even though the ending was satisfying by seeing the ML and FL and second couple togetger but still i just ctaved more like what happened to third couple...did gu zhe proposed or not....or did xiaoyi took room mate/his half rent sharer/ML secretary to his mom???
Its okay...we always crave more scenes if the drama is good. I admit that first few episode....till 10 or 11th episode maybe it was dragging....i just watched it to get to know the plot and other couple tbh.....as i said it had plots which can be turned and twisted for no reason. But this drama did a good job to not to overdo the scenes....i guess after first few episode they knew their right track to us interested.
I liked the way how the character's role was divided as being a family,romance drama and i was actually shocked to FL mom as she was in Go Ahead...at first i was like the way she smiled was too cute and then i would be lile oh no then next shouldnt be like the one in go ahead....but dont worry....that scene never came...i like her acting skills....so back to the point....having a many characters connected to each other sometimes it becomes difficult to understand the plot....sometimes the narration in first few episode will make feel this but u will catch up quickly....not only the narration but there is some kind of subs problems....but it has been rectified but still...dont worry u will be to catch up and understand it pretty quickly.
The villians of the drama had limited time but they werent villians to be exact but still had limited scenes or time but it was perfect....not to over and bot to less to get confused.
I started to watch it from a channel that makes edit and i just wanted to have a look...earlier i viewed the trailer but i was lile nothing soecial but ti blew my mind away coz from 1 ep to 32nd ep i binged watched it.....loved it...the songs of drama is lovely to listen.
So overall very cute and lovely drama of two people who once were in teacher/student relation but then after memory loss became fake engaged couple to real one...this journey is filled with cutenss,joy,sorrow,anger and happiness...
Its a worth watching drama!!! Go for it!!!

Do watch it
I stumbled across this drama and I was not expecting this to be good at all. The FL is smart, independent and cunning. The ML is very aware of his environment. This story portrayed correctly how student-teacher relationships should be shown. The ML had zero romantic feelings for FL while he was her teacher in college and the FL just saw him as an annoying and hard to please professor. I love love love how smart both leads are portrayed, like not academically smart necessarily but smart in the sense of forward thinking. A refreshing story. The pacing is just perfect, I am so satisfied with it.The story is set in the working environment with flashbacks of the FL where the is ML being a difficult teacher in college.
Do give it a try.

The love can be funny and exciting
This is a story of love that began as a challenge between a man who is unwilling to love but whose heart cannot remain indifferent and a woman who is attracted to her strict, charming university professor, whom she later meets as a rival in business.It is always a treat for the audience to see a cold-hearted man overcome by his feelings for a woman.
A charming Ji Xiao Bing and a very sweet Jin Wen Xin. A couple who fit together perfectly, yet not particularly passionately impactful on screen.

Unfortunately too boring
The base storyline is interesting. A cold emotionless CEO gets into an accident and has amnesia. The woman who saves him pretends to be his fiancée so her company can close a deal in his absence. Interesting right??Unfortunately the execution of it was too dull. They tried to make it funny, but it wasn’t. They tried to make it tense with bullying, but it wasn’t. I already skipped quite a lot in the first 3 episodes, so decided to drop this. Don’t know how other reviewers gave it 8/9 lol.

Alla fine della favola non so quanto effettivamente dell'opera ho visto. Guardato dal primo ep all'ultimo ma da una certa ho skippato talmente tanto che facevo prima a dropparlo. L'unica cosa che mi piaceva era la coppia lead perchè per il resto mi sono annoiata a morte e fate conto che, nonostante l'abbia finito qualche giorno fa, ho tabula rasa di tutto il resto. Quello che mi
è rimasto impresso sono le scene dolci tra i protagonisti e in generale un po' tutta la loro storia ma per il resto stendo un velo pietoso. Alcuni personaggi secondari sono talmente infatili da essere troppo incredibili per esistere. Io davvero non riesco a capire come mai sia così amato questo drama. In circolazione c'è di molto meglio.

Review of "The Trick of Life and Love". Spanish/English/French
Es un drama que no ha estado mal, pero podría haber estado mejor. Me gusta la relación entre Li Qian y Ning Cheng Ming y cómo el amor que él tiene por ella le ha ablandado el corazón. Sin embargo, creo que el hecho de que pierda la memoria no me ha gustado mucho porque eso hace que la trama esté enrevesada al principio, pero entiendo que la amnesia del protagonista es lo que hace que la historia comience.En cuanto a aspectos más objetivos de la serie, pienso que deberían haberse centrado más en el pasado de Ma Cao y Ning Cheng Ming, saber cómo era su relación, cómo se comprometieron o cómo acabó su discusión. También debieron darle una oportunidad a Yun Qin Qin de tener un final feliz. Ella no es desgraciada, por supuesto, pero su historia ha quedado algo abierta y es un buen personaje que se merece algo más. Por otra parte, hay criminales que tendrían que haber sido arrestados pero se han olvidado de ellos.
It's not a bad series, but it could be better. I like the relationship between Li Qian and Ning Cheng Ming and how his love for her has softened her heart. However, I didn't like the fact that he loses his memory because I think the story is convoluted at first, but I understand that Ning's amnesia is what gets that story started.
Regarding other objective aspects of the series, I think they should have focused more on Ma Cao and Ning Cheng Ming's past, knowing what their relationship was like, how they got engaged or how their dispute ended. They should also give Yun Qin Qin a chance to have a happy ending. She's not miserable, of course, but her story has been left open and she's a good character who deserves better. Furthermore, there are criminals who should have been arrested and have been forgotten.
Ce n'est pas une mauvaise série, mais elle pourrait être meilleure. J'aime la relation entre Li Qian et Ning Cheng Ming et la façon dont son amour pour elle a adouci son cœur. Cependant, je n'ai pas aimé le fait qu'il perde la mémoire parce que je pense que l'histoire est alambiquée au début, mais je comprends que l'amnésie de Ning est ce qui a déclenché cette histoire.
Concernant d'autres aspects objectifs de la série, je pense qu'ils auraient dû se concentrer davantage sur le passé de Ma Cao et Ning Cheng Ming, sachant à quoi ressemblait leur relation, comment ils se sont fiancés ou comment leur dispute s'est terminée. Ils devraient également donner à Yun Qin Qin une chance d'avoir une fin heureuse. Elle n'est pas malheureuse, bien sûr, mais son histoire est devenue ouverte et c'est un bon personnage qui mérite quelque chose de plus. En outre, il y a des criminels qui auraient dû être arrêtés et oubliés.

O seriado em questão é uma trama envolvente e cativante, mas conta com muitos clichês típicos de séries de romance e drama. Apesar de ser previsível em algumas situações, é difícil não se divertir com as reviravoltas da história e os personagens carismáticos que compõem o elenco.Um dos clichês mais notáveis é o CEO rabugento. O protagonista masculino é um empresário bem-sucedido, mas que vive seus dias de forma insatisfeita e amargurada. Contudo, tudo muda quando ele conhece a jovem e corajosa protagonista feminina. Com a convivência, eles descobrem que têm muito em comum e acabam se tornando grandes aliados.
Falando em protagonista feminina, essa moça alegre e corajosa parece ter saído de um conto de fadas. Ela é a típica personagem que tenta resolver todos os problemas com um sorriso no rosto e que não mede esforços para ajudar os outros. No entanto, quando vê que a vida nem sempre é justa, essa protagonista surpreende a todos com sua determinação e vontade de mudar as coisas para melhor.
O clássico enredo de amor-ódio também não poderia faltar. Apesar de se odiarem no começo, os protagonistas da série passam por um processo de descoberta mútua que os fazem perceber que eles são mais parecidos do que imaginavam. Com isso, a paixão floresce e eles começam a se ver de uma forma completamente diferente.
Apesar dos clichês, a série consegue se destacar por conta de um roteiro envolvente e personagens cativantes.
