Sam Saeng returns the money to Dong Wu and tells him not to get involved in her affairs. The conflict between Geum Ok and Bong Mu Ryong becomes worse. Ji Seong laughs at Sam Saeng, telling her that she made the right choice by giving up on college. Sam Saeng is hurt by both Dong Wu and Ji Seong.
