On her way to take her college entrance exam, Sam Saeng discovers Sun Bok who is coughing blood because of her lung disease. Sam Saeng is unable to take her test because she treats Sun Bok. Geum Ok takes her test and is notified of her successful application. When Bong Mu Ryong hears that Sam Saeng was unable to take the test, he consoles her. Sam Saeng tells Bong Chul that she's fine and promises to take the test again next year. When Ji Seong is notified of his military service, Gyeong Ja cries her eyes out and everyone in the family worries about Ji Seong. Meanwhile, Geum Ok tells Sa Gi Jin to leave her side.
