After Dr. Hwang and Sam Saeng perform autopsy on Bong Chul's corpse, they find out that the cause of death is due to poison. They submit test samples to the National Forensic Service for further testing. Sa Gi Jin gets nervous when he hears that Sam Saeng has his cuff links that Bong Chul was clutching in his fist and tells Geum Ok to steal them. Sam Saeng remembers the caustic soda that Mak Nye had given to her to drink as a child. She starts to get suspicious of Mak Nye for not treating her like a daughter.
