MY 2 CENTS TO AMORE BL SERIES
It was nice wartching this series,, even though they have rough difficulties with their audio, but the series went well, when it comes to story flow, I can say that the story is quite slow in pacing, but upon watching the last 3 episode, I can see the sense of the director of making it that way. I saw answers from my answers before. now that the series is gradually developing, the tension and the conflicts are apparently showing towards the cast and I so liking it, why? because the acting prowess of each character are showing improvement in a professional way. their acting was amazing and realistic.. it very hurting me inside, and somewhat related to every scene. Specially the latest episode.. wos such an amazing performance in acting ensemble they connect to each other.. Guys watch this series this is very interesting.Was this review helpful to you?
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED STORY
I highly recommend this series, aside from gameboys and hello stranger, this series from the Philippines is my 3rd on the list of my top 3 series,, they hit me with their lines and how it was delivered, the actors are amazing when it comes to their acting, every words hits a by heart. I love the storyline and the development, specially the latest part, I love how it was executed by Nuna and the supporting actors in the part. I am loving this series and even my workmate watching it because of same reason, story wise it's amazing knowing that it is a real life story, and the acting skills of the actors are good.Was this review helpful to you?
HONESTLY THIS SERIES IS GOOD.
I've been watching series from the other country and I came across with this series, I can say that this series doesn't have enough budget because of their lapses with their audio, technical aspects are not good, but I was surprised because this series is actually good, and the storyline and actirs are doing their part to meet what is definitely the things should we watch, the story is very relatable, and the scnesa are actually happening in real life. the pacing for me is good, the delivery of lines are amazing it chills me, Thank you for recommending this series to me, this become my relief escape for boredom and this is the series I can line up along with that bl and gameboysWas this review helpful to you?
ANOTHER GEM OF FILIPINO BL SERIES
AMORE is a Pinoy BL series with 30 episodes. As of writing I've seen 8 episodes. It was promising and intriguing.As a Filipino myself, I am very glad with the sprouting of BL industry. It's a high time to showcase the Philippine take on the said subgenre or anything of that sort. We've seen The Gameboys series and Hello Strangers as BL series with virtual setting and it's a breathe of fresh air to encounter this series--with new faces of course
What I like about this series is the title sequence. Idk, I'm impressed with the wittiness of their creative team. It's a cute concept.
So the question I have right now, what WILL HAPPENED TO WIL IF SHE GET TO KNOW pRINCESS IS JUTS NEXT DOOR. AND joEY IS THE ONE WHO IS TAKING CARE OF HER. ? I'm dying to know.

ONE OF THE BEST BL STORY
I started to watch this series when I saw my common friends reviewing to this series, Now I gave a try and surprisingly, this series is good enough to be highly recommended because of its nice story./ The storyline is cute and unique, involving a baby on the story, I cant wait to see how the story will end, since I just finished the 9th episode and I am seeing a lot of potential to these series, I hope more will support this series cos this one deserved more viewers than the other bl I have watched. this one is in my top 3 for being best bl in the Philippines. 1. gameboy 2, amore 3. hello starnger/ Guys try yourself watching this series, it is amazing, from the actors to the storyline and the flow story was good.Was this review helpful to you?
MY TED TALK ABOUT THE RECENT EPISODE
Thank goodness Nuan finally saw how controlling he was being.I don’t really care for JoWil, because I’ve been team JoJimmy from the beginning. You can clearly see the difference in attitude when Joey talks to Jimmy to when he talks to Wil, and I believe that is because he’s already in love with Jimmy. I still don’t know how Joey said okay to Wil cause I just don’t see it.
A good thing is we won’t see toxic Nuan anymore, but just when I thought no more guys could possibly be into Joey, enter Ryle. I mean...what?!!
I also don’t know why Jimmy won’t let Joey see his son, my best guess would be that Jimmy is developing feelings for Joey and thinks that distance will make him lose those feelings.
Also what poem? What is this poem I’m hearing about for the first time ?
The story is finally moving forward, albeit still slowly. We can see a genuine connection between Jimmy and Joey, but something tells me that we won’t be getting their storyline for at least 5 more episodes. My best guess for the story is that it’s going to focus on Kenji and Wil’s rivalry now. I mean... we had Wil and Nuan, so why not this? I guess it’s more episodes of fast forwarding for me.

I promised myself that I wouldn’t write a review for this series, but here we are. This review is not one of personal opinion, but rather completely objective.What makes a series good? A cast who can genuinely act, or a production house that knows it’s way around, or a story worth sticking with? Unfortunately, Amore seems to possess just one. Acting can only carry a series up to a particular point, after which the audience needs something more to stay with the series through it’s run. Be it whether there are sound glitches, an everlasting story that seems to be headed nowhere or the introduction of controversial actors, Amore has it’s fair share of problems, but what is the factor that this series contains that continually keeps the viewers interested?
The answer to that would seem to be the acting. The chemistry between the characters, especially Wil and Joey is off the charts right now and these characters seem genuine, which resonates with many an audience. The cast only seems to improve every single episode and that’s an amazing thing, but it’s not enough. As I mentioned before, just good acting is not the saviour. This was marketed as a love story between Jimmy and Joey, and that was honestly the reason I started this series, but as the episodes pass, I feel myself getting tired of the ongoing storyline. With the absolute absence of romance between the leads as of now, lack of consent, the love interests that keep hounding the lead, this drama seems to be heading down hill.
What’s still keeping you and I here though? That I don’t know the answer to. Maybe it’s hope that it will get better, or maybe you are genuinely interested in the show. Be what it may, by my standards this is mediocre. I sit here with the hope that it will get better and if it does, maybe this review will end on a positive note.
EDIT AFTER EPISODE 25
So..... it did not get better. Yes the acting is absolutely consistent, and my complaint that the story seems to be going nowhere is quenched, but god, when did the story get this bad. For a while, it genuinely looked like the story was going to get better than before, but it somehow took a turn for the worse.
Long drawn out dialogues, unnecessarily written scenes that seem to have no ultimate connection to the final outcome of the story, the writing out of several main characters and the incredibly annoying behaviour of some characters are just unbearable at this point.
Once again, good acting can only get you to one point, you need way more than just acting to make a series enjoyable. Be it a very popular series, a much anticipated sequel or a series with not much to go for, we look for elements that make it enjoyable to the self and have come to expect a certain level of quality, which Amore seems to lack. A certain panache, if you will. Yes, the leads finally got together, in the 25th episode. The baby,.... well something happened to the baby and I don’t want to spoil it more than I already have.
With the news out that the director was fired from the company, the fate of the series hangs in the air. Will it be continued, or concluded on that slightly positive note remains to be seen.

What in the actual f*** was that!!!! True Love is Sacrifice!!!! I mean seriously.... what was that???
Like they got together in episode 25, they were happy in episode 26, then comes episode 27 and bam! Jimmy goes off to become a priest!?! Like whyyy??? I’m so pissed right now.
Even without the horrible ending, the series has nothing to brag about. The premise seemed extremely interesting and it seemed like it was going to be a light hearted rom - com type series, but they just had to go the dramatic route. Sometimes the really predictable story is leagues better, and maybe with a better script and a slightly higher budget, this would have been a good, a great series even, but now, it has literally ended on nothing.
As I’ve already mentioned, it started out well, fizzled out somewhere in between and finally went out without a bang. Some dramas work, this didn’t.

Great Start But Quickly Drags (Unfortunately)...
Off to a shaky start. The audio quality is quite bad. The cinematography choices are off-putting and unflattering. The acting is flat and leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully, the series will get better as it progresses. Not sure why they decided to release the first half of the first episode on a day and the second half a few days later...The second part of the first episode was much better than the first part as we are introduced to a possible love triangle between Wil, Joey and Jimmy. The interaction between Wil and Joey were quite cute, especially when Wil was hitting on Joey. Not sure why the Madam didn't have Jimmy stay with her though instead of put him in a random stranger's room. Looking forward to the last third of the first episode. Why don't the series just have each part be its own episode? Each part is about an episode length anyways.
Upon watching the last part of the first episode, I'm actually liking this series. There's the introduction of another possible lover in Nuan. So, not a love triangle, but possibly a love square? I love that! The story is cute so far. I LOVE relationships that start as rivals then become lovers. However, there are some illogical plot points, such as how did Joey not know that he grabbed the wrong backpack? And he only realized it when he started taking stuff out of the backpack. Like why did he continue taking stuff out of the bag when he knows that it's not his and that his admission ticket wasn't gonna be in there, even going so far as taking out a condom. Yeah, that didn't make any sense. However, the series is entertaining and I am definitely interested in seeing who Joey will choose: Wil, Nuan or Jimmy (who I hope Joey will choose)!
Upon watching the second episode, I have to say that I love that tension between Wil and Jimmy, especially since it's regarding Joey, who they both share in common. Though many people are rooting/shipping JoeyWil, I am still hoping for JoeyJimmy as I am a sucker for rival-turned-lover stories.
I LOVED the next part (the 2/3 of the second episode)! I love that Jimmy started to be nice to Joey and that he's starting to catch feelings for him! And vice-versa. Though I do like Wil who is a good guy, I do find him a bit selfish, making Joey feel bad for the incident with Jimmy when Joey isn't even Wil's boyfriend. Why should Joey feel bad just because you want him to be your boyfriend? Though the series has a low-budget and cinematography isn't particularly good at times, the story is just so utterly cute, adorable and filled with kilig moments! I cannot wait for the next part and to see Joey and Jimmy interact more!
The last part of the second episode was also enjoyable! I loved the progression of Joey and Wil's relationship! So cute and kilig! Holding hands in the library while studying! My heart! Unfortunately, there wasn't much interaction between Jimmy and Joey though. The minor characters, such as Nuan and the two cross-dressers, are still pretty useless and don't serve any function to the series' plot (so far). Interested to see how a possible pregnancy will affect Jimmy.
In the first part of Episode 3, I was surprised by Jimmy's reaction to the pregnancy. I was sure that he wouldn't want to keep it. I now understand where the baby from the logline of the series will come from. The story is progressing nicely. I LOVED the moment at the kitchen table where Jimmy and Wil kept on trying to make the other jealous. SO MUCH KILIG! I LOVE IT!
The second part of Episode 3 was another entertaining slice! I loved how Jimmy was acting all nice and kind towards Joey's friends and I LOVED the ending when Wil sang to Joey. My heart was full! Not a fan of the addition of another cross-dressing guy who will be used for comic relief though.
Due to its bloated length (30 episodes with 3 parts each), it's no surprise that the series is starting to drag (since Part 2 of Episode 4) where literally nothing happens and scenes gets extended for much longer than they should.
After watching Episode 5, I have decided to drop this series as literally nothing of any substance is happening. Just a lot of boring filler which is no surprise since this series will be 90 episodes total. And no offense to Joey, but why are all these guys lusting after him?

CHAPTER 1 WELL DONE.
This series deserve more views that other series in the Philippines,, I love how the story went through, The chapter 1 is finished and chapter 2 will soon be hitting us with a lot of twists upon watching the trailer of ChAPTER 2, i WAS AMAZED OF WHATS GONNA HAPPEN. The actors are doing great with their acting, and the story is gradually Prorgessing,.The way they offer us the Chapter one was a roller coaster,, I am hoping that the Chapter 2 will give us more and enlighten us with good answers to our questions.

THE FIRST 8 EPISODE OF THIS SERIES IS BEAITUFUL, THEY CREATE SUCH an amazing storyline, and the execution of the actors is quite good of ar.. now I can't wait for the next part after the episode 8... IO cant wait for the part 3 of the latest epsidoe cos the pair that I am shipping is about to accept each others as partners. my god, I cant wait for that part where they will said yes to each other. MY PERSONAL REVIEW TO AMORE BL SERIES
After listening to my friend about this series, I got hooked because I was captivated by the very good storyline. now I asked my self how do they shoot that in a dormitory type since we are on the situation of health crisis. after watching the episode 1 i cans ay that I was amazed by the fact that they try to recreate the scenario into the apartment type. first epsidoe was amazing because I can see the raw and guinuine acting powers of the cats. thought I can only see few characters yet, but I was captured by the will and joey scene at night with planty./ I loveit. and they character progresses and the story is getting interesting because of the new love interest bnamed nuna, as well as kenji is iinstantlkty showing interest to joey. now I will watch the episode 8 and I cant wait for the next part 3, where joey and will is in a date and I hope my jowil heart will be happy after watching it.

THE STORY IS GREAT
I love the story of this series,, the synopsis, is cute, something new, and I was amazed because I learned that this series is based in real life story, this is going to be the firsts series that is going to be shown in a social media that is real life. and for sure there will be a lot of relatable scenes in the series, and I am not mistaken, I relate too much on this series, a lot of real thing is being portrayed. it's very relatable,./ This series has a lot of potential when it comes to its story, but the series has an issue when it comes to audio, but it doesn't matter anymore, why? because the actors are greater in terms of acting skill,s amazing portrayed, they are great story teller, the issue in audio was taken over by the great acting skill,s just reading the subtitle i can definitely watched it enjoying the scene. Joey and WIl has great chemistry I love how they put the development of the leads characters, for jimmy, and joey,, somewhat they give each character a moment to shine and its not overwhelming.
