find it kinda ironic that both lead ran away from arranged marriage's and yet they r gonna go back to it - as if their now and meeting each other is a diversion and break from reality. sad as how this started i think even if they love each other their duty to their family and tribe will always come first. unless they decide they rather put themselves first and run away together - where no one can find them. the question is will theyside note - Limaya is really beautiful and to date she is the only character that i like. she in the same situation as Caloy, she for sure isn't any happier to be betrothed to him. but she knew she was leave to get education and a vocation to help her tribe and she is being an adult about the situation. not that i fault Caloy for running but considering he the only son of the Trible leader why he not think about succession - it's kinda logical same with marriage - he acted blindsided. if u live in a close knit community, u more or less know how ur life is gonna go - what expectations the elders will have of u and what u gotta do to be a part of that community....

Lakan (2020) Episode 6: Ang Pagharap sa Tinalikuran (Facing What You've Forsaken)

Episode 6: Ang Pagharap sa Tinalikuran (Facing What You've Forsaken) was finally released three weeks after the previous episode. Both Bulan/Caloy and John were haunted by their past. John received a call from his fiancée Venice but instead of going to her, he followed Bulan/Caloy to the mountains. There he learned to live with Bulan/Caloy's ethnic group. This episode ended with the two of them going back to the lowlands. The plot/storyline progressed on this episode. I was expecting some sort of cultural clash or tension while John was staying with Bulan/Caloy's ethnic group but there were none of that. I feel that's not realistic. Screenplay still needs to be more natural. Acting was a bit robotic and scripted. Audio-visuals were uneven. There were some background noise. While optics were good for the most part, there were camera shots that were too dark. Last two episodes!
