one of the best bl drama this year

I found this drama accidentally and I'm so glad that it happened. I adore everything about this drama - story, actors, acting, every detail was perfect. It was emotional rollercoaster. And I don't understand why this drama is so underrated.
Till the world ends is in my top 5. Last episode made me cry so hard and I'll rewatch this drama for sure!
I really hope we get second season. It's everything I need right now.
Thank you for this masterpiece 🤗

UGHHH AMAZING

honestly one of the best series i have watched. everything was done so beautifully and the story was amazing. I'm am in love this series had me sobbing tears of happiness and sadness. I fell in love with it overall. The acting was on point as well as the production. The story line was well written and this is the first Show I'm writing a review for because i really think it deserves all the support. Honestly please go watch and support the show it is 100% worth your time. the main couple were defiantly amazing but even the b couple slayed. They had a lovely cute relationship. One of my favourite characters has to be sis though because she was funny, sweet, supportive and kind. She was really their to support the boys when they needed it. Gus also did an amazing role and this series who not have been complete without him. He is the supportive brother we all need in our lives. The relationship between Gus and gold was actually heart touching. Art and Golf were def on another level all their expressions were on point and i think no one would have had chemistry like these two. UGHHHHH MY HEART I LOVE THIS BL> EVERYTHINHG EVEN THE HOT SECENES WERE DONE SO WELLLLLLL

Wasted potential

It had a great potential. A good idea turned into a boring pile. Actually, the first 5 episodes were really good. I loved the idea; 10 days before the world ends, one couple is falling in love with each other, and the other couple is trying to kill them... It sounds so good, but the finished work was not that good. Like I said, wasted potential.

THE STORY: The first couple, Golf and Art, met in a very unusual way. Golf literally hit him over the head with a guitar and then left the guitar in his room for THE WHOLE SHOW! What a psychopath. And he was supposed to be a doctor? Thank God the world ended before he had a chance to treat someone, lol. I don't believe they fell in love, I just can't. They had no chemistry!

CHARACTERS: They meet up with some interesting people while Golf is waiting for his brother to come back from prison. One morning, Golf dissapears (because that's a great thing to do if you're the only two people in the building) and leaves a note for Art to meet up with him on the rooftop. So Art goes there and has a "beautiful" breakfast on the rooftop with Golf in his SUIT and SUNGLASSES (he looked really funny). They were enjoying some expired sausages until someone else appeared on the rooftop with them... Hooray, it's the best actress in this show! I hope she won't die any time soon! I can't remember her name, but yeah, she was a good character.

But let's talk about someone who I totally loved. The gang that tried to kill our main group: Mike (dead in 3 minutes, lol), Joke, Long, and Long's sister. I absolutely loved Joke and Long. BL series always focuses on the uwu couples and never on the psycho couples (not counting TharnType). It's such a shame. They were awesome!!! Amazing chemistry, good schmex scenes... They were perfect. But then they fricking died!!!!!! I was so angry. What the hell.

ILLOGICAL THINGS: Welcome to a special part of my review where I'll share with you a list of illogical things that happened in the show. #1: Starting off strong, why is everyone doing it in the morning? Why not in the evening? That's only a start. #2: The biggest illogical thing was... the moon! I ain't no physicist, but it kinda doesn't make sense. A) GRAVITATION - the moon just can't fall on us. B) WHERE are all these bunkers? In the space? IF the moon will destroy everything on Earth, where are the people who took shelter? IF it was a small asteroid, it would make sense to take shelter somewhere on Earth, somewhere that the asteroid wouldn't fall, but the whole moon? What? WHERE ARE THEY? #3: How did the gang hear the gunshot if they weren't in the same building? #4: Why did Art marry a man who tried to kill him? #5: How did the psycho couple find the main couple so quickly? Yeah, I know Art left the ID there, but they took the same path as them. That's a big coincidence. #6: Yo, what? It was all a dream?

Overall, it was a very boring experience. I almost fell asleep once and then got woken up by a loud jumpscare. It could've been a lot better. Shame, shame...

Exceptional and Phenomenal

Sometimes, something comes along that completely moves you to rethink your life. And this is one of these programs that gets you to do that. It is an exceptional BL series that has a cast of characters that make you want to believe in love again. It is almost Shakespearean in design and forces you to think about your own mortality. Not all of the cast of characters are good but this series forces you to redefine how you might see 'bad' people. The story seems mundane in the beginning but it goes to new heights and its journey to the end is so real. Yet, it ends in love.

Drama of the highest quality in many ways

A work that is very tense to watch, a storyline that is enough to make emotions go up and down. This is suitable for those of you who want to watch BL dramas with the best cinematographic quality and special storylines.

The actors in this drama are very convincing and do not disappoint, the way they play their respective roles is very good. Here I really like the roles of Golf, Art, P'Gus, and Mam, they are They just put me in the mood. For the antagonist, the 3 people were very professional and made my emotions rise.

Talking about the cinematography, the transition from one scene to another is very smooth and not boring. They deserve an award for this.

Amazing

I watched it by accident with no expectations. I knew from the beginning that it was a great series. Great acting, a story full of twist, very sweet and sometimes violent. Bring with it some excellent teachings…………………………………………………………….…….…………………………….………………………………………………………………………………….….…………………………………………………………………………………..……..

What did I just watch?

This is honestly the first time ever that I wondered what I just watched. This BL wants to be more than it could ever be with the limits of budget, acting and time.

I'm sure there was a vision here, but what it was got totally lost. And as a consequence so did I.

The theme is very interesting: the end of the world due to the moon crashing into the earth a few days from the start of the series. A few people who couldn't get to the bunkers remain to fend for themselves in a doomed world.

This interesting starting point is shot off without any clear direction. Is it a tear fest? Many emotional scenes, deaths of loved ones, misunderstandings... A gore fest? So so much violence and bloody stuff. Not always functional to the story. Some violence and death seem completely unnecessary and only meant for effect. It has the opposite. A f*ck fest? There's a lot, and not from the main couple. Another case of effect chasing.

All this energy should have gone to telling a consistent and compelling story. There are only sparks of what could have been.

What is good: The relationship build up. The brother. The lovely Sis Mam.

What is bad: lack of clear motivation for some actions. For example: why would you stop someone from leaving when you just decided to let them go? Also weird plot parts. The world ending kind of defeats seeking shelter, even in a bunker. Why don't they ever worry about their parents. The lack of anxiety over the world actually ending. The science of the moon crashing does not add up. I could go on and on.

This should have been given much more thought, attention and budget for it to become a good show. They wanted more than they could deliver and that's a shame

Ambitious and on a limited budget, still manages exactly what it sets out to do!

"Till the world ends" was an extremely ambitious project that, despite a limited budget, really landed on its feet in the end. I'll split this review into the categories MDL gives (apart from rewatch value, because I just don't do that).

STORY: 8/10. I am a big fan of the apocalypse/dystopia genre, so it was really refreshing to see! Without any immediately obvious plotholes, it's a wild ride that follows a cast of easy-to-love characters. Once you look a bit deeper though, it becomes clear that (I think partly due to the limited runtime) characterization took a little bit of a backseat on this one. The relationships between the characters are written really well and are easy to recognize and empathize with. But individual characters' thinking was a bit more unclear to me. The ways in which most of them made decisions and were flipflopping between options so easily was a bit annoying. But I can write it off as: "These guys are about to die in the literal apocalypse, so I think I can forgive them."

ACTING: 9.5/10. I want to congratulate the whole team that worked on this series with the result, but especially the actors really knocked it out of the park. Despite the aforementioned flawed characterization, the cast was able to portray some actually real and human-feeling people here. I was especially impressed by Best and Michael, who really made me choke up at some times. Being able to empathize with the characters is so essential to one's enjoyment of a show, and the cast absolutely made that possible. The emoting this cast did... I'm really impressed.

MUSIC (+effects): 7/10. There was an obvious limit to the OST used, but I think the choice for mainly instrumentals was a really good one. Those were atmospheric and whoever was responsible for editing these in, did a great job at using them to enhance, not distract. OSTs can be quite annoying if it's the same one or two vocal songs over and over again, so using mainly these instrumental ones made it more lowkey, which works really well for a suspense-focused series. Speaking of suspense: I am sO impressed by the special effects. It's often one of the first things to cut down on when on a budget, but it's obvious there was a story to be told that necessitated them, and they worked GREAT. Also, the moon was super pretty...

I think I forgave this series a lot of things that I wouldn't if this was another series. However, I do that because the team behind this one obviously had a clear idea and were passionate about it. "Till the world ends" is really unique in its field, and I think that's why it deserves to be given some slack.

Amazing series of love and loss and value of life.

After watching this series 2 times I had found that I had fell is love with it the 2nd time around, after really understanding the amazing story it gives with the touching value of love. This series takes you on an adventure of life with pain, loss, love, joy and the value of ones life. I had cried and laughed so much watching this series. The first time I was hurt and after rea watching it a year later I found that i finally understand its message and the meaning behind it. For a low budge series and a small cast it was amazing done. The chemistry is there with a ride of emotions. The only down fall was knowing in the end that the characters would die, but life and death are the true meaning. This series was an adventure of emotion and understand that we most enjoy our life as it can all go in a moment time. This series was amazing and worth rewatching. This was a beautiful bl series.

Finally an actually exciting and unique bl!!

Okay.. Till the World Ends really saved 2022 for me, it was just amazing. The plot, the acting, the chemistry, the shots and the beautiful cinematography! Art and Golf's relationship started really toxic (Like literally, Golf hit Art's head with a guitar, gave him amnesia and then basically kidnapped him) but it surprisingly worked. Their chemistry is amazing (I mean let's be honest Art can hold chemistry even with a tree, he is just amazing) their acting is soo good like I normally don't cry in a bl that often but this series made me cry multiple times..

I also like the fact that even though this is a series about the end of the world but the atmosphere is always cozy and bright so you don't feel suffocated. I also like the horror/suspense parts like those jumpscares actually made me jump. This was a very whumpy show but I loved that part! You constantly worry about whether the characters will survive because no one is safe.

Some scenes were kept very long but that didn't bother me because there are only 6-7 characters in the whole series and half of them are already dead by the time we get to the middle of the series. That's why it didn't bother me that the same characters stayed for a long time and talked in a scene. Most of those who gave this series a low rating also say that the series has some logical mistakes, but let's face it, this is a show about the apocalypse, so it's normal to have some logic errors. It did not bother me tbh.

I just hope that we get a second season because Art and Best had the best chemistry and it's very hard to find a bl where all the actors are actually really good actors.

Sorry I don't understand how people are watching this

Apocalypse, violent criminals and BL. As the first of its kind, I was definitely intrigued.

But after 5 episodes, I thought to myself: Ah, screw this. Life is too short to waste any more time on BLs that don't make me happy. I’m going to move on.

The unfortunate thing about TTWE is that I just couldn’t get behind Golf as a character. He’s a pretty face for sure, but something about his character was just so annoying. First point of irritation: Him being the most narcissistic, self-absorbed liar ever. Second point of irritation: How did Golf even start falling for Art?

The best part of every BL is watching the characters fall in love with each other. Not only was this frustratingly absent in this romance, but the chemistry between Art and Golf is seriously off. Honestly, even the old woman and her dog had a better relationship.

How has this drama managed to get a score of 7.4?

The pacing was awful, and I had to stop as soon as they wanted to 'marry'? I know they only have like a few days left, but chill guys. You've lowkey just met. Plus what I didn't get is how Golf's hate for Art disappeared as soon as he hurt him. Maybe regret or guilt I think. But I guess he didn't blame him for the breakup? Just the 7 day curse I guess. Wouldn't recommend to anyone so far. And definitely will not be watching this again any time soon, if I'm honest with you..This could have been done so much better, but no. Pacing was as good as the avengers age of ultron. Spoiler alert; not good pacing.
