1st off didn't recognize Hana from the…

1st off didn't recognize Hana from the poster, seen her in Koi Desu: Yankee-kun to Hakujou Garu an adorable drama. so know she's good. but this plot/ep got me confused/conflicted as how to feel about the character's involved. *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: idk why but was sure Morishita Riku would be played by Moriyama Mirai. n the description off cause "...After a terrarium that she made captured his attention, Satsuki ends up helping out with a garden project he has undertaken.." one would assume Riku offer's Satsuki a job, not that she asks it. but that wasn't the main gripe i had with this ep - ******************1. being a child of divorce, is hard enough. but when ur father cheated n left ur mother & u, u feel doubly loyal to ur mother (who is still single n reliant on u) the fact he left for a man isn't here nor there (maybe it is a factor for the mother/wife). but as a child it doesn't matter. Satsuki would have a tough time being civil towards the new partner, regardless of their gender. ********but my main problem is the 'ship' between Riku n Satsuki (2.) i don't get why this a running theme in J-drama's where one character is down right rude, intrusive, overbearing n instead of taking offense, this being an unappealing, repellent characteristic to the potential partner it's the opposite ¯\(°_o)/¯ i could over look his insulting her for her shoddy work in his garden. but his forcing her to face her father n his partner wasn't done. Yes agree it was much needed n see Shinji breakdown n cry cause of how he felt accepted was really heartwarming moment and yet i couldn't get over Riku (a stranger) manhandling that situation n her like that. i wouldn't be over the moon, stars sparkling in my eye's - giddy at the end of that dinner - oh well, then guess no drama (︶^︶)**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************anyway from what i assume (from the poster/description n preview) have a feeling Yuma is/was Riku's lover. find it ironic that Satsuki gonna find herself in the same situation her mother was

I had to drop it

I am just not fan of damsel in distress story lines. It does something to my raging inner feminist and I can not cope with it. It has cute details, lovely scenes, but it is just to sweet for me. I love good romance, I am not gonna lie, but I could overcome dominant male (rude and unpleasant) and too humble and gentle female lead. It is personal. I find it just too cliche and boring. If you like cute cute cute and classical gender roles, go for it. I prefer stronger female leads and more character overall.
