all wrapped in a sweet little bow, but jaded…

all wrapped in a sweet little bow, but jaded ol me is skeptical at this rainbow n roses finish (not that it can't happen in real life) but like mentioned in the past, i aint that easy to forgive or forget. so being this big hearted towards people that played me meeh idk if i could get over it in a yr, ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ call me pettyヾ(≧▽≦*)o *************************************************************in the previous ep wondered why this ep was needed, as ep 8 could easily be the end. but get more character's need to show growth. Satsuki (who's running for sainthood>﹏<) had to slay her final dragon (≧∇≦)ノ meeting Morishita Sakuji. ironic or not that she finally broke through the ice surrounding his heart (much needed for this "happy ending" where almost every character shows growth). same with Akiko getting noticed, by not one but 2 men - wedding bells in the future?!? or just enough of a sign she ready to move on n forgive her ex, coexist in peace with him n his partner?!? or Kotaro n Shinji, now being able to legalize their partnership. ************************************************************************************************************small sweet moments that for sure didn't make this a sad ending, in-spite the fact neither of the mains got paired. but think that wasn't the point of this drama. as is the J-drama's tend to be preachy, where ur taught to love the sinner, forgive the sin n be self-sacrificing. so not my POV(ノω<。)ノbut used to this type of message as it's a recurring theme in a ton of J-movies/dramas). **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************an even thought to skip the long awaited resolution between Shiraishi & Riku, but didn't - and it was heartbreaking in a way to see them (and yet repeat what i said in the previous ep, just cause ur hurting, Doesn't justify hurting others!) so know everyone would love the guys together. but think this was the adult way to end things. making peace, growing, learning n adapting - being in a place where u can now be in each others lives, without hurting. so yeah there a lot that i didn't like, but enjoyed this all the same...
