Positive attitude

I loved how positive the FL is. The actress has managed to portray a hardcore groupie without turning into a psycho harasser. She showed the bitterness and depression that follows a disability and then she managed to find happiness even when things don't go as planned (eg not being able to enter the concert). It 's so realistically and yet poignantly conveyed that it tugged at my heartstrings.

i love ittttttttttttt

As a fan of some idols, kim hye yoon's acting is superb! I can see myself through her (simping at sun jae along with her) hahahah I think I missed reading the part that she was disabled when reading the synopsis so it took me a quite surprise in an awesome way (i have never watched a disabled lead before in a drama so this is new)!

Perfect Execution

I was recommended this from a friend. I read the synopsis and was 100% confident I wouldn't like it but somehow, this blew my mind away and left me excited for next episode. To think that this drama has everything I hate: celebrity-fan trope, romance, high school and the list just goes on. Yet, Lovely Runner manages to execute all perfectly (as of now).

EP 1

EP 1 completely surpassed my expectations. I loved it from the first minute to the last. Every moment was enjoyable and i felt a range of emotions from sadness to joy.

Kim Hye Yoon truly shined in EP 1, she was undoubtedly the star of the episode. Her versatility was remarkable, she portrayed anger, humor, mischief and more with ease. She also brought back memories of her Extraordinary You era.
Byeon Wooseok also delivered good performance in EP 1, capturing the portrayal of depression as an idol convincingly.Having read the webtoon's available 40 chapters, i noticed a few changes but i liked them as they added depth to the story.

EP 1 evoked reminiscences of the writer's previous works like True Beauty and Extraordinary You. The school scenes resembled those of Extraordinary You, while other scenes resonated with the style of True Beauty.
Finally we have a proper youth romcom after a long wait. Mondays are bound to be delightful from now on.
I believe this show will undoubtedly become as popular as True Beauty in the future, propelling its actors especially Byeon Woo-seok to stardom similar to Cha Eunwoo & Hwang InYeop's rise after True Beauty.Overall im eagerly anticipating the next episode.

Fabuła

Great first episode. Kim Hye Yoon acts similarly to the drama Extraordinary You, but she is still cute.

An impactful first episode

Even though i've just seen the first episode and the second one just aired, this is a perfect first episode to start a series!Time-travel and idol-fan love is nothing new to see, more so lately where writers seem to love to exploite the back in time plot, but i thought i should give it a go, at least the first episode, and it was a lot more than i expected! The opening scene is impactful and even after the whole episode has finished it lingers in the mind. And the way you see already the way the main character personality and mentality has changed over time is really interesting. I like to see how the idol's world works and i hope more is in the making for these upcoming episodes. So far, the acting is good and i am really invested (I am so gladly surprised about Seunghyub's character, and i can't wait to see more of him, that angry moment was so good... he has potential to become a great actor!!)Hope this drama doesnt downfall and keeps the hype to the end.

Typical pilot episode

Imsol is a cute and bubbly character and I like her mindset. It makes me want to root for her. I like the range of emotions portrayed by both leads in the first episode. I hope we explore more why exactly Sunjae did what he did but I don't think that will happen. I will continue to watch the show but I'm not hooked yet. The visuals are great though.

The Fan and The Idol Who Saved Her Life

The premiere hit us with comedy and tears all at once. One minute, we were laughing, and the next, we were crying. It was an emotional rollercoaster, but it was definitely worth the watch. The visuals, cinematography and music are perfectly interwoven to bring this story to life. Although this is just the first episode, Byeon Woo-seok did a fantastic job portraying Sung-jae. Kim Hye-yoon was also a delight to watch. They seem to understand their characters and effortlessly execute their respective roles. This first episode gave us a beautiful and sad introduction to the main characters. We have Sung-Jae, a famous idol who commits suicide after battling depression. His music saved many, but unfortunately, it was not enough to save him in his darkest moments. It is hard to perfectly sum up the loss his family, Im Sol, and his other fans must feel.In most cases, those left behind have questions and feel guilty for not doing enough or seeing the signs. For the past few years. Sung-jae gave Im Sol and many others a reason to live. In a way, he was there for her through her darkest moment. He showed her the light at the end of the dark tunnel. His loss is confusing and painful.Im Sol feels guilty and hopes to change Sung-jae’s fate by staying back in 2008 and saving him. However, it is not her fault; hopefully, she will realise this soon. It also won’t be easy to relive the sad moments in her life. She is the only one who knows the future, and she is going through twice the pain. We look forward to seeing her plan to save him and how it will affect the future. This show will heavily touch on mental health, suicide and loss. It can be triggering for some. However, these are important topics, and we as a society need to discuss them more. This show offers a great platform to start these conversations and shed away some of the stigma that comes with depression and suicide.

First episode was good! Nowadays every shows are about going to past! I like this genre to be honest. They should add a good cliff hanger by the end -.-

first impression: really solid first episode

this was a really solid first episode. we learned about our protagonist and why she was attached to Seon Jae, how much she cares for her family, how thankful she is to be alive and have good initial view into Seon Jae's character within the second half. i will say, the songs featured in the eclipse concert were honestly so good, i'll be listening to them and streaming as well

all in all, it was a good set up to the series and hopefully we get more on the leads characters, especially seon jae.

Sets the decor

I really enjoyed this first episode and look forward to watching this new drama! Honestly each actor and actress is a treat, I like the light atmosphere and deep characters. Seem like a fun watch and I love the time travelling aspect. Also feel really refreshing to have a disabled character in a drama, even though it's just for half an episode...

OMG!! Its good
