Most underrated drama

This drama is really fantastic people who was Thai bl this seems bit different to them may be because of not much comedy scenes or kiss scenes but quite romantic and based on past bl this drama contains child hood crush, past memory and office relationship wow drama no much complicated twist simple and clear unfortunately we have very less episodes and if they make more episodes with 1 hr time it would have been good but still they covered all the plots without truncating I loved this drama and Japanese bl always have different vibe the voice of actors and the music story is a kind of silent I enjoyed it and recommend to all bl fans

Complete package but not totally my type

Categorize this show as an ordinary one especially since I am having a hard time deciding whether I liked it or not. They have the angst, the growth and connection of the romance, the appeal from the cast, the amazing setup of soundtracks, and a nice sequence of the stories from the beginning until the end. Yet, it is not my cup of tea and I am certain that people out there might enjoy this show to their fullest. But, I was hoping as well that despite not my preference in a romantic genre, it’s their job to make things work for everyone.

Aloha is so cute in this series with his sassy and bitchy attitude. However, Makoto devours this show with his excellence in delivering the perfect blend of emotions and charms. The intimate scenes were the best element in the drama; hot, sexy, and fulfilling. As expected with Japanese productions, they always took a lot of effort to create pleasant and arousing scenes for their characters. But not to the point of overly doing it, that mostly happens in Thai BL shows.

The story is dramatic in a good way in that it tackles reconnection and attempting to succeed on the second try. It was a good plot for two grown adults and how they face up against hindrances in their mature ages. It was cool to see them nourish their romance with a happy ending.

Age 30-35+ should find this serie good.

- Pretty tense. quite mature story, and serious in old era (the era where LGBTQ couple is embarassed and hardly to be accepted. But the detail of story is actually not much.
- I think Generation X-Y + asian style may like this serie (age30+), while under 30 yr will find nothing much about this serie's value
- There is some production value, but I think I won't rewatch it since there is not much thing in serie
- Chemistry of these 2 main is quite good.

A nice watch

JBL almost never disappoints tbh. They always can provide well even if the episodes are short. Even thought the series is short, it told the story pretty well and wasn't rushed. Although I was not satisfied with the last episode, it was still very good. The plot is good, the chemistry is nice and the thirst scenes are great. Always looking to BLs from japan

Push and Pull

This drama plays the aspect of both past and present, majorly present, the main leads, loveing each other but still running from one another. It just pisses me off, the wrong communication anywhere throws me off.

The chemistry and the skinship was mind boggling no complains there soo and everything was ok, annoying ex (wae but on point).

a chance that will dictate the rest of life

The live rivalries were too much for me as if seemed when 1 decided to give up the next came up so seemed like everyone was taking turns. Now the past incident, I found heartwarming as it really captured high school romance and what first love truly is.

The acting I felt everyone was a bit over the top when trying to achieve their goals as manipulative behaviour was being used and they had no consequences for them.

I don't quite believe the first rival just giving up as they've known each other for a while and know him quite deeply. The second one is more believable as if makes sense he was going nowhere

A little confusing, but the chemistry was unreal

Took me a second to understand the subplots and I don't 100% understand all of it, but the chemistry between the two main leads was so amazing and it was nice to see "kissing" in a Japanese BL where it just a lot of pecking. I wished there were like two more episodes, or the episodes were a little longer to really flesh out and understand Takashi's backstory and family plot.

Pretty good, could be better

i enjoyed this drama, it was relatively light and nicely done. the main couple’s casting was good, too. they’re both beautiful. i liked the dynamic between them, their banter felt pretty natural and their scenes together didn’t feel forced, though i have few things i didn’t like.

i felt like the story would have been more naturally paced had there been more episodes, but i know bl dramas outside of thailand aren’t quite there yet.

despite miyata liking takashi deep down, it felt like miyata came around to admitting he liked takashi ahead of the plot a bit and he discarded that girlfriend rather quickly, too. she was more of the token girl that gets dumped for the boy, no real characterization on her part. could have done without that. but he played hard to get with takashi, then all of a sudden he warmed up and went all in and they sleep together, but the scene was still noticeablely chaste (i’ll forgive this since miyazaki says it’s his first time) and that push and pull felt a bit odd to me, especially in a limited time frame and especially because i felt like for two people who were once lovers and haven’t seen each other in over a decade, i expected a bit more passion and fire but idk. i also felt two love rivals in such a short amount of episodes was unnecessary and the second love rival was rather random, too.

we actually got more kisses between miyata and takashi than i expected going into it, but that being said, they were far more chaste than they should have been for two men in their 30s. not that we needed NC scenes left and right, but a few kisses more than the “press and hold” would’ve made sense. i mean, i’ve seen some pretty passionate scenes in japanese series, i know they can do it. but overall, it was a decent series and still worth the watch.

SUCH A COMPLICATED RELATIONSHIP AND SITUATION

All in all this Drama is entertaining and in some ways very cute, what I like the most about this is the way the actors portray their characters, they are entertaining and have a very cute interaction, I must say that while most of the Japanese BL always give us very few or one kissing scene only, this drama seems there is a kissing scene in every episode ! how about that !
The story is complicated, the situation is complicated, they did not even made it clear why and how they broke up from many years ago .. after watching the episodes, it was revealed that it was all a misunderstanding reason of their breaking up and MIyata suddenly throwing the phone or what was that ? after seeing the picture of his Senpai. I was actually not really impressed with the story, why did it took too many years for Takashi to come back to Miyata ? or maybe he needed to be successful first.
I was kinda annoyed at Miyata, he liked his Senpai but he don't wanna date him , they even spent the night with each other ! he only hurted himself such a complicated situation because of pride. I hated Takashi when he thought that MIyata was an outsider with his family affairs, and yet he wanted Miyata to be with him forever , such a puzzled mind ! whats wrong with him ! It ended okay so that is enough for me, I almost got angry when that guy named Kyosuke who seems the person in charge of Takashi family or someone who convinces Takashi to follow his mother , I don't know who he was , because I thought he was a rival , but thankfully not.
Miyata was Adorable and so is Takashi , the drama is not rushed, only story is complicated, but it was entertaining and cute in some ways. I don't If I will be rewatching this one though.

Second chances come with baggage

The show speaks to anyone who have loved someone, lost that same someone, and now occasionally harbours thoughts of “what if?”

What this series does is to capture perfectly the anticipation of meeting an old flame for the second time. As attraction increases between them, so does the emotional vulnerability.

Takashi and Miyata have to confront the uncomfortable reality of why their relationship failed to work out before and whether there is hope for a second attempt.

After all, second chances come with baggage.

With just six episodes, the character growth of the characters could not be fleshed out fully. But I suspect that this BL is so popular because it mirrors real life to a large extent, revolving around the fragility of relationships and the importance of timing.

Sometimes, saying goodbye doesn’t mean losing someone forever. It means see you next time at another point in our lives.

An Excellent but Too Short Adult BL Romance

This was very enjoyable to watch. The actors have an amazing chemistry, and whoever the cinematographer was should get an award for how well they made Hasegawa Makoto and Furuya Robin look. There were so many moments where both men were lit with an amazing golden hue that rivals feature film or big budget advertising cinematography. Plot-wise, I must say that there's a nice feeling seeing two men navigating a past shared teenage trauma and trying to figure out if they right for each other as adults. Amidst the drama, there are some nice comedic touches from Takashi's assistant, and Takashi's "brother." It also presents a nice story of gay man standing up for himself in the face of some traditional Japanese conservatism. They did a great job of casting three teenage versions of the adult men, actually finding young actors who looked like the adult actors, particularly the young Miyata. I think that some very talented hair and make-up people also had a big hand in that. Lastly, although there was no explicit nudity, the sex scenes, though brief, were quite frank and passionate.

My only criticism is that six 24 minute episodes felt too short. I could have used a little more delving into Takahashi's psyche and how he was affected by his broken relationship with his family. They explained everything in the final episode, but whereas I felt I really understood Miyata's trepadations about entering into this relationship again, Takahashi was a bit of a mystery throughout the series. I know a big part of the plot was predicated on Miyata not trusting Takahashi's words, and us not completely understanding his motivations helped elevate that plot thread. Miyata's voiceover gave us really clear insight into his character and I think some time could have been added to do something similar with Takashi's character. But this is nitpicking. Koi wo Suru nara Nidome ga Joto is an excellent series and very much worth your time if you like adult BL dramas.

Normal office BL

The acting is not that good and so cringe at times. Many unnatural scenes and unnecessary dialogs.. There's nothing special about their chemistry or how it progress. So many unnecessary intimate scenes just to get attention or to trend.
Production is soso ... I don't find it rewatchable at all. The music is not that good and listenable. The story is very predictable and not executed well. Kinda boring for me and not planning to watch the last episode as you know what will happen already. In short, i did not enjoy watching it
