Meiko goes to retrieve her luggage with Yutaro and enter the udon shop together. However, Meiko doesn't know the taste of konbu soup in Osaka. The next morning, Kazue and the rest of the family finally touch the miso soup made from konbu. Meiko has come up with a way to learn the taste of the konbu soup. On her way out to the market, Meiko meets Genta, who now works at a butcher shop. Meanwhile, Yutaro is in quarrel with veteran Omura and is informed that Meiko has collapsed.
