Fluffy, sweet and great chemistry
This drama is sweet, simple and fluffy. It has a unique charm cause the ML isn't a jerk or cold guy. He's actually like a breath of fresh air and not the stereotypical male lead that is harsh to the FL on first and then soft. He is actually a caring guy from the start. The roles are somewhat reversed here cause the FL is bossy and the ML obeys her but in a good way. No misunderstandings and no evil characters, just a happy drama. Best drama 2022
This drama is very light and suitable to watch when relaxing. if you are a romance comedy drama lover, this drama is perfect. the reason I highly recommend this drama besides the reasons above is also because the storyline is not boring, and also the strong female lead and her charming partner. There's also a lot to learn about relationships and love in this drama. The setting in this drama is also very good, the interior design of ZhaoJiangYue and GuJiaXin's apartment is very good, and other settings in dramas such as Office are also very good, also in some episodes the scenery in other cities is also very beautiful.Was this review helpful to you?
really sweet drama, good escape from reality
story:storyline is pretty basic, the only "different" aspect is that the guy is a lot younger than the girl (idk what this is called in english lmao but in chinese we call it 姐弟恋). the events are pretty unrealistic as in the way that the scenarios are too perfect to be true, but nevertheless a good escape from the (maybe) sad reality some people are facing LOL
acting/cast:
jin chen and wang zi yi are both fairly new to the acting industry im assuming, especially wang zi yi because i know him from nine percent, and i know jin chen from a lot of dance related competition shows. i didn't know what to expect in their acting skills, but i was surprised to say the least! it wasn't cringe, the cute moments WERE SO CUTE!! i saw some clips of the behind the scenes of some of the intimate scenes and the acting was so natural. after one of the scenes jin chen even started blushing and hid under the sheets which i thought was so cute.
music:
usually i don't pay attention to the music in modern day dramas, but for some reason these songs were so sweet and catchy. during one of the episodes wang zi yi also sang his single "first sight", which i had already been obsessed with prior to watching this drama so that was a surprise. the main ost is sung by both jin chen and wang zi yi (i think?) and they both sound rly good!
rewatch value:
even though it was a cute little drama, i probably won't rewatch it. i will def come across more scenes on other social medias in the future and might rewatch certain episodes, but probably not the whole drama.
overall:
great drama, i already recommended it to one of my friends who just finished watching a really depressing one LOL (i ended up watching that one, it's called love and redemption). i saved the last episode of this drama to watch after i finished the depressing one and it's a good refresh for my mental health :)

Good-lookers with chemistry!
This drama popped up on my YouTube feed and I’m so glad that it did! I have watched the FL in other dramas before and I think she’s a fine actress and good-looking. Thus, I decided to ‘wing it’ and watch this drama. I’m thrilled that I did!What I loved a lot:
- The chemistry between the leads is cute yet hot, sweet yet full of sizzle. They light up the screen as they are gorgeous and they have chemistry. Love seeing them together. Their development from not liking each other to being infatuated to being deeply in love is believable and realistic. Towards the end, their kisses are yummy to watch! So in love!
- The music isn’t much of a big deal but it works.
- This drama is very low on angst and has hardly any villains. I like this as I’m quite tired of dramas that are full of angst and awful, annoying villains. To me, this drama is a refreshing and happy change/ breather!
- This is my first time watching the ML but wow, I’ve also ‘fallen in like’. He’s definitely easy on the eyes and he has a gorgeous body.
- The clothes in the drama are stylish and the ML and FL look so charming!
The little bit of not so good:
- There’s no plot. Actually, nothing very much happens other than sweet fluff. Every small issue gets resolved asap so, there is little to mull over.
- The ML starts off quite stiff and he is, quite obviously, not a seasoned actor. But, he becomes better and better as the episodes go on!
- The stubborn girl, Yanran, is quite hard to watch at first but she becomes better too as the episodes go on. Some actors are quite stiff and are quite redundant. Some scenes are unbelievable but this is a drama after all.
*Overall, I highly recommend this drama especially if you are looking for something light, easy and ‘uneventful’ in a good way! :)

It would seem cliché but this is different from other cdramas
❤️10/10 from me
Although it would look like other dramas but this one is different from others it has some uniqueness from other dramas.
Leads had a age gap but their chemistry was so good that we can't feel the age gap. Their personalities are perfect for each other.
ML acting was so good and he improved throughout the drama.
Relationships in this drama are on the next level ~
I love how women in this drama are independent and don't need men for everything.
ML is my favorite character his acting is so good. I really love his style, he was so fashionable throughout the drama.
FL is so cool I want to be like her and find success in life.
When they got in the relationship I was like on the clouds and their chemistryyyyyyy!!!
So overall it's an HAPPY ENDING❤?

Typical Kdrama RomCom with lots of skinship
So far this cdrama is more to reality even though it was not perfect at least it do not deal with time travelling, falling in love with an alien bf/gf or stuck in a VR or novel.This cdrama involved with a few couples that is the main couple - Zhao Jiang Yue with Gu Jia Xin (noona & dong saeng romance), Qi Heng & Duoxi (schoolmate friendship turns romance), Qian Jing Jing & Zhang Hao (married, divorced & remarried) & last & not least Xu Ning Yuan & Li Yi Ran (uncle & young gal alliance turned romance).
Let's begin with the main couple - Zhao Jiang Yue & Gu Ji Xin both showed on the screen chemistry & sparks with lots of skinship starting from episode 19 onwards. Wang Zi Yi acted as Gu Ji Xin is considered as an idol singer to me rather than an actor so his acting skill is considered okay but if he intents to continue acting then I suggest he should take up acting lessons to sharpen his acting skills. As for Gina Jin as Zhao Jiang Yue - her acting is far better than Wang Zi Yi.
For the supporting couples their acting skill so far so good except for Li Yi Ran role at times I cannot accept her childish role. Her role was really a pain for me to watch as she does not show any maturity since she is supposed to act as a 22 years old lady but she went around chasing after the ML - Gu Ji Xin then later change her ship to uncle - Xu Ning Yuan. I don't think any 22 years old lady will act like Li Yi Ran that childish & glue type gf.
The OSTs - I like the ending OST the most. The rest of the OSTs are equally good & pleasant to listen for me.
Story & plot - It's a straight forward romance story without any plot which means no 3rd party wheel to break up the main couple relationship. Every episode ended with few tips on how to maintain a good & healthy relationship or how to overcome a breakup & etc.
Overall I find it's good in the sense of it's light-hearted, no violence or back stabbing but on romance. So if you like something light, fluffy & comedy then this might suit your taste as it has a total of 24 episodes with an average of 40 mins per/episode air time so it's easy to watch & digest.

Splendid/Feel Good Series
MUST WATCH 11/10 - I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH -- WHY?I've watched so many C-Dramas I can barely recall how many of them are but I am proud to say this drama belongs to my Top 3 favorite C-Drama of all time!
To all new viewers, this series is highly recommended! Kudos to the Writer/s, Director, and the Actors. The PLOT has a few cliché topics but is somewhat refreshing. There are no toxic characters, the whole plot is wholesome and the love stories give you butterflies.
The CHARACTERS, I am so amazed at how Wang Ziyi portrayed his role, although he is a rookie, as Gu Jiaxin (ML) is really a walking green flag, I really love his character, I mean he is a guy who is a bit spoiled but has a tender and loving heart, he is very supportive of his friends and gf, loyal, he knows how to say sorry, admits his mistake, he is very reliable, trustworthy, a very gentle, very sweet and caring boyfriend. I'm a fan of Wang Ziyi since his idol producer days and I can say I didn't expect this type of series from him since he comes off as a swaggy dope type kind of guy but turns out he used that style of him in this series, I can see his real self in some of his body movements, his mannerisms, his hand gestures (like the pointing the handgun movement which the FL adapted) and his fashion style (which can come off as weird to some but since he is an idol in real life, and he portrays a somewhat 22-23'ish, racer, happy go lucky guy so the fashion choices suit him) The FL is so pretty, her smile is so beautiful, I love how empowered she is throughout the series, she is independent and very responsible but she can be herself and learns to depend on the ML when needed. (i love her jealous reactions ?) The 2nd ML and FL are not toxic, although the 2FL is very clingy in the first few episodes, I love how she matured in the series and learns to let go. The side couples are really cute as well, and the ML's mother is not the typical arrogant, "I will come in between you two" character.
I highly recommend this series!
MUST WATCH 11/10, LIGHT, NOT TOXIC, FLUFFY, AND SWEET AND IT MAKES ME QUESTION WHY I CHOSE TO BE SINGLE! - If only a Guy like Gu Jiaxin or any of the other male leads exists in real life then I would gladly retire from my happy single life.

Short easy to watch c-drama !
I recommend if you want a light, fun and easy c-drama romance in (only) 24 episodes !I loved the chemistry between the two characters the most, how they completed each other.
The soundtrack was not fantastic but it stays in your head and it feels right for each scene.
The actors were good even if the story has nothing fantastic about it... I even had to skip a few episodes because I was bored... but you have to watch until the end, it gets better !

Light, amusing and strong willed women
The series is very short and light with alot of amusing sides to it. My 2nd series of watching Jin Chen as the female lead. I have to say, her playing the strong minded / willed woman is indeed fitting. She really knows how to play that role extremely well. Storywise is very nice, not so long winded and sweet. Like always, there are a few moments / parts where you just face palm and there are moments where you just melt. The 2nd female lead is also rather annoying and childish. But then again, if you are someone who never really need to work much to get what you want, I guess you are also ending up spoilt and annoying - especially when things don't go your way. The songs are paired quite nicely for this series, love them.Personally, it is a very nice first watch, however... I can't really speak for the rewatch. I guess it will depend on individual, if you actually love the show from beginning to the end and if you think it is worth to binge again.

So annoying ML
Only in Cdramas we can see this kind of shameless, mentally retard, over obsessed and cheap ML characters. In early episodes I thought this drama is completely different than regular cdrama template, the ML was socially mature with good IQ and EQ but after fifth episode it came to its regular template like over obsessed shameless mentally retard kind.I think In first or second episode he promised to FL that he will help her to get Mr. Xu since she had no love or dating experience( even he didn’t had) but at the time when FL and SML about to be in relationship he only becomes big stumble block to them, he keep on avoiding their meetings, when they went to someone’s wedding he also went uninvited and tricking the FL and SML to take photos with FL while doing that he tore the FL dress in a bad way but here it is portrayed like a funny event( I don’t know what is there inside the Chinese director’s head), when they are in lift or standing anywhere ML keep on standing and covering FL from SML and most third class attitude of the ML character I observed is eavesdropping, all the times he acts some drama to listen what FL and SML were talking and whenever SML tried to confess he keep on interrupting him. The most annoying thing for me is his over obsession shown here, in the office they always together in home they always together even in outside also they always together if by chance FL went outside with someone without noticing him he will become mentally unstable and runs to her in next second.
When he saw his and Mr. Xu’s compatibility evaluation sheet with FL he noticed his grade points are very less, instead of feeling ashamed he got angry and scold her that these are just cold numbers it doesn’t represents anything, I clearly didn’t understand why it is unaccountable because for marriage everyone checks how much matured, reliable, dependable, profession, attitude, manners etc etc. he asks her that he loves her wholeheartedly is that not enough? OMG such effortless script, even a psycho, sadists or rapists loves someone in their own way, because they love can someone accepts their love without thinking and suffers in the future?
Initially I thought it is a good and different type of drama compared to other Chinese dramas but after fifth episodes it came to its typical cdrama template dramas but unfortunately after coming to its typical format this dramas rating got improved, Which means Chinese only like this kind of shameless ML characters.
After watching this drama I got only one wish, I want to take X-ray of this dramas director’s head to see what’s there inside instead of brain. That’s why maybe the producer has made minimum investment to this drama.

Excellent But..
This is really a cute drama but…they had to go and add the worlds most annoying female side character. She is clingy, stupid, childish, immature, and down right annoying. Literally have to fast forward through her scenes because she has no self respect. ML had told her and shown her on numerous occasions he didn’t like her but she literally latches on to him physically a lot and even gets up into his face. If they would have left her character out, it would have been a much more adult and mature drama but…I actually really like this drama aside from the annoying and I mean really annoying FL side character. I like every other character and even the MLS mom. So not sure why they had to go and ruin it with her. I will continue to watch it because it is really cute when that witch isn’t in it. The chemistry between the leads is fire and of course the ML is hot! There is a lot of sweet scenes between the leads and ML is also really sweet and caring to the FL. FL is not annoying and actually has power and she doesn’t abuse it. She’s very nice and kind for the most part!
I would definitely recommend you watch this and just be aware of the annoying Female.

Worst Drama in terms of story, acting and choosing correct cast specially ML
One of the worst acting dramas I ever watched. Specially ML is totally a newbie with no talent in acting just playing childish acts in the whole drama. This whole drama doesn't make any sense in terms of story and acting.At first it feels like something interesting but after MLs childish acting starts, the whole drama fallen into abyss. The makers thinks by adding some intimate scenes in the end makes the drama popular but that exactly makes the viewers to hate this type of content more and more.
In my opinion, if correct ML was chosen in the drama, this must be something else and there must be some appropriate and mature acts in terms of gaining love and building story.
At last, I'm very disappointed in myself for choosing such a bad drama to watch which also waste my time.
