Overall is great

The ending though, it seemed monotone, and not exactly one I was entertained by. It was exactly what i wished for but overall it was great.

Amazing Actors, Great Potential, Lackluster Execution.

*Reborn Rich* If you enjoyed series like Dallas or Dynasty from the '80s overflowing with lots of back stabbing but a lot less hair pulling, then you will probably love this drama. The toxic family had siblings and parents switching sides so often that the only thing you were ever certain of was that they were all terrible people.Instead of a straight forward revenge story, it seemed like the writers attempted to cram as many plot twists as humanly possible in each episode. I was reminded frequently of watching the American Tv series Lost (by the end of every episode you were equally in awe at the cleverness of the script and in fatigue at suspending belief for the insane amount of ridiculousness). And don't even console yourself with a Song Joong Ki romance... I'm not sure what I would call their relationship but soggy bread comes to mind. This series had an amazing start and I was so intrigued with the supernatural element, hoping to see lots of timeslip references from the 80's -90's and 2000's... but alas too few of those and too much financial jargon... Almost every single actor/actress especially the grandfather (Lee Sung Min) should be up for some award as their portrayal of morally bankrupt and ruthlessly evil people was so spot on it was at times hard to watch. But sadly, I felt that SJK's all knowing persona was too bland for my taste ... I really desired to see some of his fiery spirit (Vincenzo). My final thoughts... this would have been a great series if it was 10 episodes instead of 16.

Did the screenwriter lose interest?

I feel like Kdramas are known for this strategy where the drama is just Marvellous with a great story, visuals, and characters. But then the ending has to ruin it all.

Unfortunate

I'm very disappointed by the ending of this drama, I expected more. This drama starts with a good inspiration for the mood. However, I'm not expecting this kind of ending from this drama

Korean Writers Can't plan a story arc

They soar, soar soar...and when it come to working out a landing, they find:- They have too little runway left- They have to lose altitude real fast- They have too little time for it- And then there are laws aerodynamics (read story dynamics) which they have to then throw out of the window without any parachute attached. So they not only crashland...they become a bomb and nose dive!ICARUS must have taken lessons from them?

Loopholes everywhere!

Why???? It was a very good drama, why did it have to end like that? The ending has terrible plot that is full of loops. The writer should've sticked to the original ending instead of acting smart.

Reborn Rich ending explained (SPOILER of course)

The title “Reborn Rich” was not about Yoon Hyun Woo being re-born as Jin Do Joon. It was about Jin Do Joon being reborn as Yoon Hyun Woo and becoming rich!

1. Yoon Hyun Woo did not die, he was in a coma for 1 week. He can not be reborn at all.

2. When Jin Do Joon died in the 2nd car crash, Jin Do Joon was reborn as Yoon Hyun Woo. Who later became rich.

3. The “Timeline 2” did not exist. As Yoon Hyun Woo said so himself that it was not time travel, nor possession. It was a repentance for both Jin Do Joon and Yoon Hyun Woo.

Everything else happened, other than the small changes (he was just recalling a previous life he should not be able to recall at all, that's why there were small changes), exactly the way it did.

“Reborn Rich” also meant being a new person, rich with values.

“Reborn Rich” also meant being reborn as a new person after his brush with death, and coming out of the coma (was “reborn”).

Re: Repentance
1. As Yoon Hyun Woo, this is his repentance because he chose money over reporting the murder.

2. As Jin Do Joon, it is his repentance because he did do things he shouldn't, he actually became his grandfather in the end.

When Jin Do Joon was reborn as Yoon Hyun Woo, it was his chance to repent as Jin Do Joon (previous life) and as Yoon Hyun Woo (present life).

In the end, Yoon Hyun Woo became part of Miracle, the company he founded in his previous life as Jin Do Joon.

That was one heck of a story twist. Totally unexpected.

Excellent deep theory.

If you see ending again you will find out that it was Do-joon and not Hyun-woo. He outplayed everyone, even prosecutor seo was flabbergasted by his act.
