Han Ye pleads with the Emperor to release Ming Xi from prison, while An Le pleads to have the 80,000 Di army souls brought back from Qingnan Mountain to Jing capital. An Ning has collected information on the whereabouts of the Di servants so the Emperor can compensate them, but doesn’t realize Leng Bei wants this information to turn the Di servants against the Han empire.

Every resentment is being heaped on the Crown Princes head as they try to pull their carriage through the mud. Mingxi is especially cruel as he plans to get the Di's in and the Han's out. The Di's were wrongfully accused, but Mingxi seems to think he can decide who should rule.
