At the age of twenty, he encountered a young male dolphin in a Jeju aquarium, and since then, he has become an avid dolphin enthusiast, constantly thinking about dolphins. He dedicated his twenties to returning illegally captured southern bottlenose dolphins to the Jeju Sea, freeing them from confinement in the aquarium. Even now, protecting and caring for these dolphins remains his mission as the "Dolphin Dad".
