1 Litre of Tears (cleared out my tear ducts real good :))
Long Vacation.
I watched it when i was 10 years old and it gave big impact to me. ^^
I can't believe it was Oshin for me,
my dad loves it so much at watch the re-run, I think at 1998 and he force me, I don't even know why I have to watch it.
my own start to watch Jdrama is Hana Kimi
1 Litre of Tears (2005) which I binge-watched with my friends way back in '06!
We cried our hearts out, finished a box and a half of Kleenex, and one of my friends even had swollen eyes for 3 days!

:)
Hana Kimi- I read the manga and then watched the anime and eventually I found my way to watching dramas that were adapted from manga.
Bitter Blood/Partners By Blood. My daughter getting into anime (which I hadn't seen in a dozen years or so) led me back to old favorites including Rurouni Kenshin, which led me to finding out about and watching the films (SOOO good), which made me want to see more things the cast had done-- and Bitter Blood happened to be on Hulu. Totally got me hooked!! :D
Love Generation. Way back 1997. Yayyyy!!
